Mari, I think you're being a little tough on yourself here. 😊 Your flowers are absolutely charming, and I think both vases turned out beautifully. One of the things I especially enjoy is seeing how you approached the same subject twice. Each version has its own personality, and both feel fresh and lively. I also love the variety of values you've created with a single color. The darker flowers draw the eye, while the lighter blooms help create depth and softness throughout the arrangement. Most importantly, this project feels relaxed and joyful, and I can tell you had fun exploring the exercise. That spirit comes through in the finished paintings. Thank you for sharing both versions. They are lovely examples of how much variety can come from a simple monochromatic palette. 💙
