Blue Monochromatic in Vase

I'm ok with this, but when I got to the stems, I went way too dark on some that turned almost brownish-black. Dark pigment already, but when I painted first time with a watery blue, it turned faint gray. Tried adding one itty-bit of brown to deepen the watery color. UGH! Then I tried lifting. Mess got worse. Too many leaves. No clear area in my vase for the stems to go into. All that said, I like how the tiny flowers turned out and feel happy with those! Enough for me today.
I loved this third class in the monochromatic with a vase trio of paintings. I can't seem to get good leaves with that magic touch Brenda does with such grace and have tried a red brush that looks very much like hers and also tried a wedge brush. No regrets. Learning is good.
Great sense of completion after doing all three paintings!
Thanks to Brenda and to all sharing students!
