Decline letter for commission artwork - student project

Dear Potential Client,

I hope this message finds you well. I want to sincerely thank you for considering me for your art project. It's always a pleasure to connect with potential clients and to be recognized by respected professionals in the industry. I’ve taken some time to review the details of your offer, and I appreciate the potential for exposure it presents.

However, after careful consideration, I must respectfully decline as I am not currently accepting any unpaid work. While I do believe in the power of networking and the value of credited exposure, I have to prioritize opportunities that recognize the expertise and effort, while involving a corresponding financial commitment.

That said, I would be happy to discuss potential collaboration on future projects that have a budget allocation for commission artwork. In the meantime, I would love to stay connected and perhaps explore other ways we can support each other in our professional endeavors.

Thank you once again for reaching out with this opportunity.

Warm regards,

Jason Morgan
