I will only consider working for free if it’s for a reputable nonprofit charity organization which supports a cause I believe in, such as supporting Christian missions, human rights, etc. I must be given sufficient time to work on the project and not preoccupied with paying commissions. If my client cannot/will not pay me I reserve the right to earn some form of profit from my work. This includes the retention of copyright to my work, the right to publicize my involvement online and in portfolios, and the right to license the artwork elsewhere.  I must be given credit for my work and a guarantee that the product in question will be used/manufactured.
