Hi Jurrien, So sorry for the late reply!! I don't know why I missed you publishing your project.  I really love how committed you were to exploring the same subject in so many different ways. You can see the observation improving from page to page — especially in the proportions and the way you handled light and shadow and reflections in the last coffee maker.  I also really like the fact that you used what it seems to be small scale papers and folded them in two. I'd be super cute to have little mini books made each exploring a different objects in different techniques and having various composition approaches 🙂 Julien, if it is not too much to ask, could you review the class? You can just copy and paste the text in the 'review' section :)  I'tll help me promote the class so that it reaches more people 🚀 Thank you so much for sharing your work — it’s a joy to see your progress!

Thank you for your reply and encouraging words! I really enjoyed the class. I actually used a folded sketchbook, with 32 small pages cut from one larger piece of watercolor paper. I really like using those for explorations as they are very ‘low threshold’.I will share a picture of the complete sketchbook in my project so you can see what it looks like.

Nice to explore the same subject, using different materials. I didn't have wax crayons so didn't try that technique.  thank you for an inspiring class!!
