Snail Mail!!!

Ellisa is a lettering artist who initially reached out because she liked my work.

We immediately struck up a friendship, a pen pal correspondence, and she regularly insisted that I needed to be teaching, despite my yearslong resistance to that suggestion, lol.

Since she has been one of my biggest cheerleaders, it is only fitting to showcase the first envelope I sent her as this class project (and it has become the mascot for this topic in general, as it is all over this class and my eBook).

So, make things for people!
It really does make everything much cooler

(...and connects you with cool people!)

Similar to my "a gorgeous G can influence an L or a t" remark, Ellisa mentioned that she loved the G I created in one of my pieces, so, surprise, surprise, she got an E with that same flavor the next time I sent an envelope her way!

It turns out a gorgeous G can influence an L or a t, but best of all, it can influence Ellisa's E! :)

You watched me make this one, buddy! :)
