Hey Amrit. Thank you for uploading your works! Proportions are great and values are well represented... Excellent stuff :) more soft layers and blending could help improve the smoothness of your blends. Paper 'is' very important, I alway go for the smoothest paper with a decent weight. Smooth paper helps create a smooth finish, and the weight helps keep the structure in tact when blending lots. Which paper did you use and what tool did you use to blend?

Hi Shayne, I've been using the Fabriano 200 grm paper. I mostly used the cotton bud and the makeup brush for blending. 

I've never used Fabriano but many graphite artists do, it's a quality make. I would still suggest more layers with extremely light pencil pressure, but also with the cotton bud, until you're happy with the smoothness. It can take many layers until everything blends nicely. Not sure whether you did the practice lessons in episode one of this series, but they'll help explain the process for creating smooth, solid tones :)

This is the first time drawing faces/noses. I feel like I got a lot of good foundations. Struggling a lot with blending. Not sure if its my paper since I couldn't get the more expensive paper.
