Non-responsive Vendors

While planning my own wedding and now working with my first client, we’ve both had at least one vendor that was simply non-responsive. In my case, I hadn’t paid the vendor in full and started to make plans for a backup option. For the bride I’m working with now, she’s unfortunately already paid in full for this particular vendor and I’m very worried she will continue to be nonresponse and possibly not even show up on the day of the event. I haven’t found the full solution yet, but am also considering planning for back options in case of a no show. Luckily our venue owners also provide the same service as this vendor and it may be worth talking to them about the situation to make sure they can be a back up option.
