Although I was nervous about painting a background around this duck I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome.  My favourite part was painting it's head eye and beak.  I used DS Phthalo Turq with DS Jadeite for the head with a little bit of salt for texture.  I started painting 1 year ago and have put a copy of my original duck painting.
