Hello again! So, really good first attempt here. Just a couple of things to note. First things first, you want to define your Core Shadow edge a little more. It looks like your might be a little too cautious in dividing your light and shadow shapes. When light is more diffused (like and overcast day) the transition between the light and shadow shapes is more blurred, but with more direct light you're going to get a harder  and sharper boundary line between the light and shadow shapes. So, don't be afraid to make your Core Shadow edge quite dark and defined, you can always soften it up as you go along if you feel it's too hard and sharp. I'd also recommend using a softer pencil as well, maybe a 6B pencil if you have one, and also to shade with the shape of the form.  You did this well in your ball sketch, shading with the roundness  (almost like cross contours), you want to do the same with the figure. So, if the arm looks more cylinder shaped, shade it as if you were shading a cylinder (along the long axis).  Shade with the shape, not against it. But overall good effort with these, keep practicing this up, and let me know if you have any more questions! :)

This class helps me understand what reflective light was, it requires practice, but because I have not practiced light and shadow, but I will apply it more to drawings
