I have been struggling with lighting and layers for a long time, but breaking it down into stages has really helped. This was my first attempt after watching the class: The light was indirect through a far window (and a tiny bit was coming from my monitor above the subject).

Feeling a lot more confident and looking forward to doing more light studies from now on.
