I don't live there anymore but it's where I grew up. It's hard to escape the town's history of needle making. Redditch was the international centre of the needle and fishing tackle industry and once produced 90% of the world's needles. And once the town's needles were used in NASA's space shuttle project.
I wanted the logo to capture quite an industrial feel and, of course, it had to be red, referring to the red clay on the banks of the River Arrow.
