My hometown is Windham, Maine located approximately 11 miles northwest of Portland (the first Portland!).  It is adjacent to Sebago Lake and the Presumpscot River forms the western boundary of the town.  The town (and high school) mascot is the Bald Eagle, so I wanted to incorporate the river and an eagle in the logo.  Maine is known for its pine trees, so I added those in the background to give it a little more interest.
