I think this one was my favorite way to play with Mark Rothko inspired alternative art approaches. It's hard to say because I loved the explorative nature of all three. These are my oil pastel and mineral spirit pieces ala Rothko.

Here are the drawings I created with soft pastel inspired by Rothko's work. Then I used baby oil to turn the pastel powder into a transparent liquid. Have you tried this art technique?
