I had to try something! I had some compressed sticks but they just made thin marks. I guess willow is soft?  And I dont have.

I did manage to see a skull and then little faces. I think I read a fairy tale of stones that kept moving to a house with staring black eyes and was terrifying to child inside. Never found the story again.
