After completing the '2' pool from the class, I had a go at making a 'fun' pool.  I originally tried to do this with a script font, so all the letters joined together to make one big pool. I had lots of issues with my font choice, the main one being with the boolean not cutting the pool text out of the ground plane properly so I put that to one side and tried again with a big, chunky font.

 

I really enjoyed this class, and might give the script font pool another go once I'm a bit more familiar with Blender and working with complicated shapes!
