I've been looking for inspiration for this Berlin postcard browsing through the city and tried to express the atmosphere of the famous Alexanderplatz district, which was named in honor of a visit of the Russian Emperor Alexander I in Berlin (a piece of Russian history, heh)
For the effective composition the shape of famous Television Tower (Fernsehturm) worked just great.

Berlin is a wonderful diverse place with lots of museums and monuments, but for this card I wanted to show more local and authentic city, that's why the famous East German tram is here:)
I've been using Schmincke gouache paint (that's my favorite choice for now - the pigment is awesome) and Caran d'Ache white.
Mixing everything on porcelain pallette is already enough for getting the real artistic mood!)

Thaaanks!)
