A fresh start

A fresh start - image 1 - student project

Day 1, began by cleaning up my work space. (It may not look it, but that's pretty neat for me). Always a good thing. Day 2, my creativity map-the things that bring me joy. Day 3, I chose the word "Expand" (there are so many projects I want to try). Day 4, after going through many sources, I came up with a list of ideas so I'll never be at a loss. Day 5, I wrote out a bunch of positive phrases that will help when negativity starts to creep in. Day 6, to slow down, I took a walk around my neighborhood, paying extra attention to everything around me. Day 7, I listed places I would like to visit to find inspiration. And, I went to the National Museum of Asian Art in Washington, DC. I love seeing the beautiful scrolls, brush paintings, intricate details...My souvenir was a tiny ceramic cherry blossom chopstick rest that I will use for my paintbrush. It makes me smile.
