A fresh start

Throughout this retreat, I really focused on reigniting my passion for writing and journaling. I truly looked forward to what each day would bring and I am excited to continue to incorporate these methods into my day to day life from here on out.

Here's my workspace and some pages in my journal from days 2 & 3. The word I chose to guide me is open. This word is extremely important to me as I transition into a new chapter of my life and want to remain open to everything that the world has to offer me - friendships, opportunities, jobs, hobbies, etc! For my artist date, I took myself to the botanical garden. It's been over a year since I last went and I am so so happy I decided to take the time to wander around today. All the orchids were blooming (I even left with a new one for my room!) and I chatted with the lady working about how she initially got into caring for orchids. It was a great reminder of the beauty that surrounds me and that I have so much to learn from it <3 A fresh start - image 2 - student project

I thoroughly enjoyed this retreat, I really feel as though I have given myself the gift of a fresh start and I am ready to continue learning and creating!
