28 Days of AI
28 Days of AI: Day 14
If you can do ANYTHING (in AI) then what sets your art apart?
It’s your taste, your attention to detail, the story you’re telling, the timing.
I prompted the images below based on a small snow-globe type village covered in snow I saw. Which got me thinking about a Christmas town. And then about an anamorphic Christmas town that moves around.
I’m still playing around with ideas (AI is a great ideation buddy) but seeing how it went from idea to creation and back to idea was really cool. AI art is also an iterative process.

28 Days of AI: Day 7
I’ve been playing and experimenting with Midjourney a little every day.
Instead of going wild like the last time I jumped into AI (overwhelming),
I’ve given myself a brief: create a nostalgic style of photograph to use for a set of adverts—most likely for a fashion or perfume brand.
I’ve generated tons of images, a lot of them rubbish or not quite right.
Discovery #1: I don’t know how to describe styles, lenses, lighting, hair, makeup, clothing, time of day, scenery, etc. very well. I need to learn to describe what I see better (more words and terms). Producers, directors, photographers are probably a lot better at this than I am. So, I’ve been practicing noticing things and describing them.
Here are some really nice outputs so far:

And some weird ones:
