Photo organising

I have decided to finally take this project seriously thanks to you. It has been on my list for years and now is the time. I've shared my objective with my friend and with a group I share weekly focuses with. I am scared but committed :) A few days ago, before listening to the first lessons I came across a sentence that stuck with me "progress over perfection" ! A sign? Definitely my mantra for the next 28 days!

Week 1🙂:
Is your project working? It is working so so - didn’t manage to work on it everyday but I made progress - mainly a few more lessons in on Lightroom Classic and the inventory of all the places where I have photos is done.

What have you learned? Probably the first thing is that there’s a lot to do, so it feels huge right now, like a mountain. Second, I usually like to work on it longer. The tracker was a good idea and sharing my objective with others too!

What could you tweak for week 2? The timing and amount of time I work on. Break down the new “mountain” into smaller steps, that could fit in 5 to 10 min daily.

Week 2:
After week 2 I basically had to stop the project. Family plans and logistics just didn’t allow for the project to happen. Now I am back after almost exactly a month, my last check mark was on a Friday so I can now start again and I simply changed the dates from today, Saturday 22nd of August on. Now I feel confident about it, I’m happy and it just makes sense, but in between, going through the month was uncomfortable, I felt guilty and annoyed I couldn’t work on my project.

All good, ready to go again :)

Made this project the priority again.

Defined some new steps and calculated time for it (this Skillshare class is combined with another one https://skl.sh/4xV9BLZ Photo Organising by Meredith Fontana).
