Using sumi ink as a base instead of walnut ink becuase it tends to do well with water, then adding bombay india inks for color I found that the india ink was not as versatile as water soluble types of supplies. It was a fun experiment creating asemic writing too. I used a gold gel pen for lines in the one below.
