I cut an A3 page into four and used some blue watercolor and walnut ink on one side: 

 

 

Then flipped them and did some red ones:

 

 

And yes, they look much better framed, but I only had one paspatout frame in the right size:

 

 

I loved playing with rolling the brush as suggested. 

Really fun class. I made my own walnut ink last year and thought this was a great chance to use it up. But i still didn't use it all, and now I am thinking I should try a different kind of ink - probably horse chestnuts this year - and them make more delightful experiments.
