Say hello to AfterEffects - 2D animation for beginners

<p>Leah, this is a great logo build, from looking at it I would never have guessed that it was your first animation - nice piece of work :) I particularly like how the shadows are cast across the building as the text is revealed above - it really helps to add interest. I also like the fact that you said yes to animating a logo when you hadn't done one before and then worked under tight deadlines to make it happen - in my experience that context always creates the very best conditions for learning! Good luck on your journey wherever it takes you! :D</p>

Thank you so much for the kudos and encouragement Neil!  Yeah, if only I could work with the same enthusiasm when not under tight deadlines! Again, thank you for creating this introduction to AfterEffects. The speed you went over topics was perfect and the course was well organized and fun. I even named several parent/child layers in my project "mummy" and "little darling."  :-)

great naming convention lol - thanks in turn for your feedback on the course - I agreed to make it with no prior experience in teaching/tutorials etc. so it's a relief to know that I got some things right! I'm in the process of making another course, so I'm sure I'll be spamming the world when that's ready :)

<p>My friend Jeff created this logo for the 2018-19 Utah Library Association Conference and I offered to animate it. I've never animated before this. Thank you for the great class/tutorial!  You gave me all the tools I needed. It's a little rough and I was working under a tight deadline, but I'm pleased.  </p>
