For this class I have chosen "BrookBond" Tea as my brand to redesign the Packaging.

A little glimpse about the brand - Brook Bond is enjoyed by many of us Indians, because we love our Tea aka Chai in our language. Brook Bond is named after Arthur Brook. When India was under the British Rule , Arthur Brook began the manufacturing of Red Label Tea  which  was manufactured In Assam, a province/state of India. 

We Indians devour our cup of tea and I wanted to recreate this brand that is more than a hundred years old into a more modernised and yet a little bit of that vintage feel. The redesign definitely isn't any close to the original one however I wanted to redesign it in a more "2022" trendy way to simply see how the brand could look like after nearly 150 years. 

In India the packaging has been pretty much the same, therefore I wanted to bring that hand lettered and hand drawn illustration to keep that vintage feel alive. 

There is a lot I would want to explore within this packaging but more or less I think the idea was to take the brand to a different mood and see how it would look. I also wanted to keep the original colours of the brand "away" just to experiment a little. 

This was a fun project and I absolutely love your work!I hope the designs have turned out decent. Though I could work on it for hours and hours and never end up liking it haha. :)
