Here's my original sketch for my nesting doll.

Below is the sketch revised. After watching Charles's class, I decided to make some changes.  He mentioned "emphasizing the beautiful," so I enlarged the dragonfly.  He also mentioned varying decorative elements, so I made the grass wider so it would contrast better with the doll.  I also simplified a bit by removing some of the small flowers in the grass, to emphasize the doll more.

Then I transferred the sketch onto board and painted. Here's the final. Thank you for the helpful suggestions Charles, I think it improved this piece! I also think your work is beautiful!!
