Odd Bodies: Stylized Ringette Players

Another great class, Tom! I really enjoyed exercise three (Page of Poses), attemping to break through perfectionsim. I also took alot of value from the final execise six: Exaggeration. I choose to do Ringette players as my subjects, as I grew up playing this sport. I am particularly proud of my final illustration, where I applied a group of six colours and a texture. I explored the principle of enlargement (for exaggeration) for one of the arms and one of the skates of my athlete.

A side note: for those unfamiliar with Ringette (Ringuette en Francais), it is a Canadian sport invented in North Bay, Ontario (when women were not permitted to play hockey). It is played on the ice, and is much faster then hockey.
