Watercolor Rose Build Depth with Layered Wet-on-Wet

This is really lovely, and you absolutely achieved that loose, flowing feel you were going for. I can see you really trusting the water and pigment here, and that softness throughout the piece is beautiful. Nothing feels tight or overworked, and that’s a big step. You should find a wall to hang this in your home! Great Job. As you continue building on this style, you might start thinking just a little about where you want the eye to land. Right now everything is very soft and evenly blended, which is pretty, but you can gently guide the viewer by bringing one bloom forward just a touch. You could do that with a bit of negative painting or by adding a few slightly darker touches around the base of your main flower. Just a hint of depth there would help separate it from the background while still keeping that loose, airy feel you created. Love, love the looseness and you should be very proud of this!

Lovely  relaxing class for lovers of the wet on wet technique ..my rose looks more like a peony ,but still  happy with it many thanks for a lovely class
