I'm coming into this class without any comic written or any characters developed, so I am hoping that through doing these exercises, I can begin building an interesting world for which to base my story around.

Simplification was challenging on this first assignment - I have a tendency to add in a lot of extranneous details so I had to actively stop myself from doing so to create a face that would be easier to replicate later in the comic.

My favorite, and probably most practical, is the boy in the last row, second column (with the question mark) so I may go with that style.
