An ongoing project. It’s about joining an entirely unfamiliar community and discovering its beauty for the very first time. A girl is impressed, intrigued, and attracted by the shining lights. One big shiny ball represents a new universe, another world that once seemed so far away, untouchable, and unknown, but now is about to be discovered. 

I shoot analogue only; these are taken with my Olympus Mju I, using Kodak Gold 200 colour negative film. 

I like how the colours and lights turned out, especially with the second one, and how they nicely complement the meaning of the idea. I gain more confidence with shooting photos in public, noticing opportunities when pursuing an idea, and just having fun with photography overall :) Thank you!
