I made handmade, one-of-a-kind copper wire jewelry & décor. I also teach workshops. Currently, I have next to one online presence. I find it really hard to post because I am always worried that my photos aren't good enough and I don't know what to say or how to use hashtags.

 

Assignment 0:

My Goal is to grow my business through social media.

 

Assignment 1:

If I reached this goal, I would feel confident to post regularly and interact with my followers. I would be able to post inviting messages encouraging people to attend my shows & workshop. I would able be able to add myself photos/videos so my followers could connect more directly with me.

When I think about this, I feel very excited to be able to find more people that connect with me & my quirky personality. I feel the more I connect the more free I will feel to explore more of my creativity in my art and my workshops. 

 

Assignment 2:

I think once I look more into posting I will find more applicable situations, but here are a couple that came to me.

- Keeping a list of everything that goes into a piece. This could help with photo or video ideas.

- Note funny/interesting events or conversations that could be developed into a post

- keep track of posts that appeal to me for starting points for my own posts

 

Assignment 3:

I would know I have reached this goal when I have posted weekly for 3 months.

 

Assignment 4:

Plan - I will write & post a reel on instagram at 10am every Tuesday. I will post a story on instagram at 10am every Friday.

Prepare - I will maintain a folder of photos of my pieces on my computer ready to use in future reels. I will create a template for my posts in Canva that are ready to use each week.

 

Assignment 5:
