It's beautiful, but perhaps a little flat. maybe bring out the shadows to create a bit more drama

I love the letterforms, but I'm curious as to what your book choice is?

I uploaded this before actually pick up a book, cause i thought i could upload more than one project x) . I'm gonna take this down and start over... cheers!

Beautiful work! I'd love to see the different steps behind these. Was there a brainstorming, letter-birthing process? I'm interested to know if they started as something else and morphed into this, or was this pretty close to what you had in mind when you started? Thanks for sharing!

Thanks a million, Rachel! The final look is pretty much like i drew it. I started trying to make something close to a blackletter but mixed with swirls and this came up. I added the volumes and shadows improvising while vectorizing (:

cool letterforms. i like the transitions of thick to thin strokes and the subtle dimensions. i like the k, s and f with s being my fave.
