Only my 2nd attempt at charcoal. Not easy for me at all but a face did emerge although a bit scary! I love your classes even if I dont always do the demos.

 

3/6/26 I wanted to try a sketch from a photo of a man i adored, my grandfather. I sadly did not create any likeness but at least it looks like a face. Since there is so much white I wonder if I should have covered the page first with layer of soft charcoal? Anyway I had fun. The angle is off as well.
