I put the molasses in the bottom of my shaker and strained my lime juice over. Stirred it with a bar spoon so that the molasses can be better able to dissolve fully. Added rum and ice. Shook until my hands stuck to the shaker. Poured over ice in pre-chilled glass. Grated fresh nutmeg to cover.
Very pleased with the results. The molasses compliments the aged rum well as a sweetener!
