1. ChatGPT for Content Creators: To first get started, let's talk about what chat GPT. Cbt is just basically a
language model program which can take in an input
that's written in language and return an output. So I can ask it very simple
to very complex things. So I will have the link for Chad GPT available
in the description. If you just want to
head straight there, you do need to make an account. From there you
have access to all of chat GPT capabilities. Now as a content creator, Chetty be t can be really, really beneficial
because it can really help us in every single stage
of our content journey. So we can ask it something
like can you just create ten amazing
YouTube video ideas? We can ask it something like, can you outline
something for us? Can you develop
something for us? This allows us to become more efficient as content creators. The problem is, is if you don't
know how to use chat GPT, the results you're going to
get back is not going to be as good as if you
do know how to use it. So in this course, I'm going to show you how to
use chat GPT specifically as a content creator so that you
can become more efficient, get out of creative
rut and organize your life a little bit more easily on your creative journey. I hope you get ready to dive
into this course with me.
2. Creating a Niche: So we're going to go
through chatty be T, based on the content
creators journey. And so the very first part, if you are already an
established content creator, you might want to
skip a couple of these earlier lessons
that are gonna be focused on figuring out what type of
content you want to create and what you want
to create content on. So in this case, I hope
you've gotten into your charging P t and I'm gonna
go ahead and get started. So for people who don't know even what they want
to create content on, one thing you can
do is tell chat GBT some of your own
attributes, right? Chart UP data,
doesn't know anything about us until we tell it. What I did here is I simply gave it a
description about myself. I told you a few things that
I have a PhD in chemistry, I own a channel and
do different things. And I told it some
of my hobbies. And then I asked it to suggest five profitable niches for me to start creating
our content. So it's now starting to develop out these
different niches. So the first one
is DIY chemistry. Talking about
basically coming up with chemistry products
at anyone could do. I could potentially make
a blog post talking, walking people through
how to do these products, or even doing a YouTube
channel on that. Fitness for scientists. Create content around
staying fit and healthy while working
in the sciences. So this kinda
reminds me of like, what does a geek fit, I think is a channel
that focuses on that cross stitching
for science nerves. This is actually a form of a business that I'm
starting up right now. Programming for scientists, with my interests
in programming, you create content for helping
scientists how to code. That's a part of
one of my business. And then study skills
for graduate students. I can help grad
students succeed. That is my science grad
school coach business. So you can get started. And if you are sitting
here struggling with, well, what do I even
create content on? A good idea majors be
coming in here and getting some ideas
flowing from chat GPT. Now, obviously, a common theme throughout this course
is going to be catchy. Pt is a starting point, right? I don't need to look
at this and say, okay, I'm limited
to this, right? I can always expand
it past this. So maybe if you're someone who told it you like
cross stitching, but you actually like
crusted chain knitting, doing diamond paintings,
all of this stuff. You can maybe do crafts for science nerds or
something like that. You can always combine
different of these niches together if you are liking it, but you haven't found
one that's really perfect for you can
ask it for more. I'm going to say that's great. Can you suggest five more? So now you can see
that it's suggested a few more niches that I
could potentially go into. So you can go ahead
and try this out, try and figure out,
give it information. And if you're like, Oh, I don't want to go
these directions, you can always start giving
it additional information. So what I did here
is I just gave it three more facts about me. So if you're getting something
and you're like, Oh, maybe this site would actually
be really interesting. You can do that as well. So one of the things
that came up with this true crime and
forensic science, basically explaining the
science while flying crime. Website development
for beginners, you can see that
it's coming up with one niche for each of the
three facts about me. You can ask it to
do more things like integrate them and
other things like that. In the next lesson, we're going to develop
out some names for your new content
creation channel.
3. Naming Your Channel: Alright, so we came up
with a bunch of niches. So now we're going
to take one of these niches and actually
develop out your name. I know thinking of a name as something that a lot of
people struggle with. So we're going to
develop this out. I'm going to take this cross
stitching for science nerds. Is it can you suggest ten
business names in the niche, cross stitching
for science nerds. This is a symbol prompt you, you can use to just suggest
a certain number of business name and then input in the niche that
you're thinking about. So here's some names like
stitched in science, the science of stitches, nerd, the jury, which
are kind of fun. And if you want to go
with different moods, you can also do that. So I'm going to ask it
to suggest more names that are specifically
fun or silly. So you can see it
suggested some like stitching nerds,
wass, boss science. Feel like some that
are a little bit more fun and not as serious, but you could also say
like ten modern names. So I'm going to ask it to create more names that feel
modern and serious. The nice thing about
techy bt is it's going to take in everything
you've already said, so you don't have
to constantly feed it the same information. You can just ask it to
correct its previous self. So we went from things
like laboratory looms and quirky quilting to think like scientific stitch
works, lab thread, stitches and science
modern stitch, which are a lot more serious
and more modern names than the ones that we
were getting up here. So you can kind of think about what vibe do you
want to have with your content creation
platform and ask it to create
names based off that. Now, you do want to take these
names and check and see, are there already
these channels on wherever you plan on
creating content. And we're going to talk
about that a little bit more in the next lesson. But do these channels already exists or their
domains already taken, things like that to
help you kind of get to the one that really makes
the most sense for you. In the next lesson, we're
going to jump into what type of content you should
create using chat GBT.
4. Choosing a Content Platform: So now we're going to
choose a specific name. Let's go with
modern stitch tree. Now what we wanna
do is figure out how are we going
to create content. So there's a lot
of different ways we can create content, right? There's writing, there's audio, There's a video of
the main three ways. So what we're gonna
do is tell track GPT just a little
bit about ourselves, specifically in the way
of content creation. And then we're going to ask
it what platform doesn't think is best for both
our niche and myself. So what I did is I told him my name and I told her it
a little bit about myself. I don't like writing fiction. I don't mind writing tutorials, things about, I
don't want to show my face and
everything like that. And then I said, what's the best content
creation platform for my niche that would
fit well with me. And then I asked it to
list the pros and cons. Again, it's only gonna give you what you're actually asking for. So it gave me a list of five different platforms
that I could choose. The top two is blogging
platforms and YouTube. And all of these,
the cons is one of the things is it
can take time and it's difficult to stand out in a crowded market on
my icons for YouTube, it also says if you're
not comfortable showing your face on camera, YouTube may not be the
best option for you. So it's kinda giving me that as a khan as well to think about. It also included
things like instagram, Pinterest, and email
marketing as well. Difficult thing with
email marketing is if people don't
know about you, they have to subscribe
to an e-mail sequence. It can be really
difficult to even grow your e-mail list that way. This can give you an idea. Again, it's always gonna be your choice in which
one you want to pursue. But if you're really struggling, should I do blogging or
should I do YouTube? You can kind of get some
pros and cons based off of your own personal interests and what will do well
in your niche as well. So we're going to choose
a specific platform. And in the next several lessons, we're going to talk about
how to actually go ahead and build out your
content calendar.
5. Creating Content Buckets: So we're going to
go ahead and choose a YouTube as our platform. And now we need to decide what our actual content
calendar is going to be. What are the things we're
actually going to talk about? So I'm going to tell it, I am choosing YouTube
as my platform. And I'm going to get to suggest ten different content
buckets for my channel. It's going to remember because if you haven't been
following along, I've already told it, we've used it to figure out
what niche I'm going to do. We've used it to
create out my channel. So you can see my
niche is focused on cross stitching
for science nerds. So now what I'm
asking it to do is can I create ten different
content buckets, different types of
content that I'm going to include on my YouTube channel. I'm particularly asking for ten so that I get a
really wide range. I'm actually going to go with about 44 whenever I'm
actually creating this out. So I have ten different ones. So beginner's guide, these are tutorials and teach for those who are new
to cross stitching. So this could include things
like how to use a thread or how to start your
cross stitching kit. Or five tips for cross teachers, things like that.
Science themed pattern. So this is sharing
patterns and designs inspired by science and
stem advanced techniques, a time-lapse crop stitching that would probably
be a really good one, especially if you were
gonna do on shorts, that would be a
good one to share. Q and A's product reviews
would probably be another one, especially if I did like product review of science
themed kids which are good, which aren't as good. History of cross stitching, not interesting to me. Cross stitching on
different surfaces could be a really cool one. Diy cross stitch projects. So how can they
create themselves, especially for things
that they actually do want to use and
not just aren't. And then collaboration videos. So I would do like probably
if I was to choose my four different topics and probably be
beginner's guide, advanced techniques,
time-lapse saying. And then maybe either
product reviews or DIY cross stitching projects like
those would probably be the ones that I would
choose of these ten. So you can do this for
your channel and figure out what of the ten
do you want to do? Now, the next few lessons, I'm going to show you
how to actually go from a continent bucket to generate out one years of ideas. For this example, I'm going
to show you where you're posting a YouTube
video once a week. This is going to
generate one years of ideas really quickly
using chat GPT.
6. Common Questions: So narrow, we're starting out on the first step of creating
our content calendar. And what we're gonna do
is we're going to take one of the content
buckets we've decided on, and we're going to run it through four
different questions. The first one is going to
be in this lesson and then the next three questions are gonna be in the
following lessons. So if I'm working on
beginner's guide, I'm going to ask it, what are the ten most
common questions for beginners in my niche? If you were doing something like that wasn't
related to beginners, but if you were doing something like science
themed patterns, you want to ask what are the most common questions
for cross teachers about? And then input in
that content bucket. I'm asking you, what
are the six most common questions that beginner
cross teachers have? So why I'm asking this
is whenever you're wanting to develop out
your content calendar, you want to make sure
that it is search friendly and is going to help
you build up an audience. In general, most people
are searching questions. So if you're finding what are the most common questions
and then answering them, that means that you're
more likely to come up in search for those things and then be able to get found by more people
when they're searching. Now if you're creating a lot of content around a same niche, but a couple of different
content buckets in that niche, you can be calm their resource, which is gonna make them
more likely to actually come into your audience
and stay with you. So really simple questions
or something like, how do I start a
cross stitch project? What kind of fabric should
I use for cross stitching? What types of threat or floss should I use
for cross stitching? These are really
simple answers that you can put out there
and you can fill these in about three
to eight minute videos answering these questions. And that's all it's
saying down here as well. So through this method for
each of your content bucket, you're going to ask
it these questions. So this might be for
beginner cross dentures. I'm going to say for
advanced techniques, I'm going to ask the
exact same question. I'm just going to say for
advanced cross dentures, these are more advanced
questions that would be really helpful for those that
advanced through the content. So someone comes in as
a beginner and then goes through beginner content
they can advance into. They might start having
some of these questions. Or if they're already advanced cross stitcher and they're
trying to get even better. They might be searching some
of these questions as well. So making content on these questions is
really, really helpful. Now, another one
that I could do. So timeless crops did Shang. There's probably
not gonna be a lot of questions around that. So we're going to skip
that one for now. I'm going to try and do a one around this one because this is a
little bit interesting. So I'm gonna do one around
DIY cross stitching projects. I asked him what are the
most common questions about the Iowa cross
stitching projects. And it gave me some good answers of different things that
I could consider. Even things like, how do I finish a cross
stitching project? And this is actually
like two of them. So I could create one
video on how to frame cross stitching projects and another one on how
to mount them. The last one I'm gonna come
up here and create wine for. Let's do this science
themed patterns. So here you go. It gave me some different ones that people who are interested in science and in cross stitching might
have questions for. And it even says that including answering
these questions in YouTube videos can help my audience that's interested
in these two things. Then I might want to create a separate series or
playlist for this, which is always a good idea
to have separate playlist for each of your
separate content bucket. So now what I need to do is now that I've
asked this question, I would come in here and choose three to four of these topics. I personally would
organize these topics in a notion dashboard
for myself, but you can organize
them in the way that makes the most
sense for you. You need that three to four, you can do more. But as we go through
these other questions, we're going to develop out the 52 with just using three
to four of these ideas. In the next lesson, we're going to talk about
the next question you ask to start getting more
well-rounded content.
7. Critical Tips: So now that we have a most
common questions, now, now we're going to
ask chat GPT for tips for each of our
content buckets. So we can go up
to our first one. And I'm going to
take, It's basically that beginner cross
teachers have. So I'm going to say, what are the six critical tips? Beginner, cross stitch
teachers need to know. Here it gave me
six different tips that beginner cross teachers
could keep in mind. And this would be great
if you were just creating a single video on tips, like six tips for
beginner across teachers. That's a great video
to keep in mind. But where the power of these answers comes
in is when you're actually converting them into search engine
optimized questions. We can ask Chad GPT to do
that as well. So here we go. Now they've actually converted this and this is
gonna be different. So learning how to use chat
GPT in a way to step it through what you want to create is important
because simply, just asking the most
common questions, you're not gonna get to
some of these that may be a little bit more
niche, easy questions. You can do it through tips. So I have things like, what are the best materials for a
beginner cross teachers to use? How important is it to
follow the patterns? What are some tips for
Paulo, following patterns? How do I keep my cross edge consistent in size
intention, right? These weren't these
six most common shins that were asked up here, but still potentially
really important questions to include when
creating your content. You could do this. So the other one we could
do is for advanced. So I'm just going to copy this and change it for Advanced. Obviously, two of
my content buckets are beginner topics and advanced topics for
cross stitching. But if you want it to do
beginner and advanced, you could do that as well. Or you could also focus primarily on beginner and have like three
different things. So if I had crossed it,
Ching, knitting, crocheting, I would do these same prompts, but with the three
different themes. So now I'm going to ask
you the same thing. I'm going to ask you to convert these tips into questions. And I'm going to ask it, please do not overlap with
the beginner questions. So here we go. Is that like some of these
are really interesting. So what are some tips for finding and choosing
more challenging? So if you are more advanced
but you don't know what it should I be looking forward to find a more
challenging pattern? It would be a really
good question to answer. And you can see that
this bottom one here is very similar to the one that I gave before with
consistent in size intention. It just says Even as an
advanced cross stitcher, that one might not be as great, but there's still a good
number to choose from. So you can choose three to
four once you've done this for your own content buckets and put it into your own
content organizer. Then we're going to move
on into the next tab, which is also going
to help you with your search engine
optimization for your content.
8. Commonly Confused Words: So now we're going
to work through a secret superpower in search
engine optimized content, and then it's commonly
confused words. And this is a really
great superpower because generally in this case you're
going to talk about two different words and the
difference between them, which means your search engine optimized for the first word, the second word, and the difference between the
first and the second word. So I'm going to stay at what are the most commonly confused words by beginner cross dentures. If you have something
that's a little bit more specific in a nice So e.g. one of my niches
is data analysis. I wouldn't necessarily
ask it what are the most commonly confused
words by data analysts? I would ask it about data
analysis or in data analysis. So you can kind
of play with this for what actually works well. And so what you can
see here is that it's starting to give
me different words. That might be confusing people whenever they are trying to
get into cross stitching. So what is the back
versus the front? What our stitches versus not hoop versus frames
count versus Ada. These are all things
that beginner cross did get frustrated with or be confused by and can cause them to mess
up their pattern. It's an easy way that
if someone searched, what's the difference
between floss and thread? If I have a piece of content
on floss versus thread, I'm able to then answer
their questions and potentially bring them
into my audience. We're going to ask
the exact same thing. And I'm just going to say for advanced because that was a, another content bucket of mine. Gave me six different words. Because this is things that advanced across teachers
might be confused by, but beginner cross teachers might not even know these words. So it allows me to add variety into my content if I'm
doing both of these. Now, let's do one more. We're going to ask what are the most commonly
confused words? And instead of saying by
advanced cross teachers, I'm going to say about DIY
cross stitch projects. Here it gave me four new ones and two that
were previously done. I could still choose
three of the four here, or I could ask it to
give me even more so that I'm not getting
those two duplicates again. So that's all for the
commonly confused words. Next, we're going to go into the last and final
question you're gonna ask to make a well-rounded
content calendar.
9. Common Mistakes: So the final piece of your content calendar is going to be asking about mistakes. I'm going to ask it. I'm asking if they can share the six most common mistakes made by beginner cross teachers. So now like gave me fix mistakes so you can create your
own titles with this. Like, are you starting with
too complex of a pattern? Or why you should
use a hoop or frame. Something like ru, separating your floss strands correctly. What I'm gonna do is
I'm going to ask it to turn these into title. So what I did is I said, can you convert
those six mistakes into YouTube video title? You could say, instead
of YouTube video titles, a could be blog, post titles or even podcast
titles, Instagram captions, any of those things that evokes emotion and makes people
want to watch your videos. This is why we're doing mistakes is because it
evokes emotion, right? If I created a YouTube
video that was like, are you wasting your time
as a content creator? Like suddenly you're
really interested in, am I wasting my time in the video could be
about how chat GPT could let you come
up with ideas more efficiently or something
to that extent. So this has the shocking truth about hoops and frames are used sabotaging your
stitches, right? These are really
emotional titles that can help people want to come and watch your videos to make
sure they're not making mistakes or to be able to
do their things better. Again, that's the goal of this, is to get on the emotions of
the person who's working it. And chat GPT does a really
good job of converting this. Now, obviously, if there's words here that you
just would never say, like the end is nigh. That I would never say that. But I might say how to secure your cross stitching
thread like a pro, that would actually be
a really good title. So you can play
with these words. Always remember
that whatever AIs producing is a starting point. So feel free to play with it and make it more your personality, anything like that, to be able to use these
a little bit more. But they're at least things
that you can put into your content calendar
to get working better. So now that you've chosen three
to four of each of these, you should have more than 52
ideas in your organization. So next, what we're gonna
do is actually convert this into more of a calendar.
10. Creating a Content Calendar: So now we want to create or
actual content calendar. So one of the things
I'm doing here is I'm telling it I have
my YouTube channel. I'm going to have 52 ideas, one for each week. I'm going to have
for content buckets. So those are the four
I choose before. And for each of them, I'm going to have
four types of videos. I'm going to ask it to create a YouTube content calendar grid. This just so that it's gonna
give me this table here. And I'm specifically asking for only one combination of one bucket and one
type that each week. If you don't do this, you can see up above, it's giving me a lot
of different things. So this is the optimized
way to do this. I'm asking you to
optimize it so that a beginner coming to my channel will want
to stick around. I don't want it to do serve some beginner content and
then go to all advanced. And then the beginner doesn't
want to stay anymore. What it's generating
now is for each week, I have the beginner, my bucket, my type, and then it's giving
me some titles. And what I find when you do something like this and
it just gives you titles. The titles are just very, very broad and
they don't tend to be search engine optimize. They don't even tend
to be the best ones for you to really
do on your channel. Which is why we went through the last four lessons in
creating out all of those. So you can use some of
these if you want them. Or you can just copy the first three
columns and use that. And then you can just take
the topics that you've already decided that match
the bucket and the type, and just put it in here instead. So if it stops here, you can always ask it to
please continue the grid. So that is how you can create
out your content calendar. Next, we're gonna
be talking about how to start developing out your intros and outlining out your actual content
using chat GBT.
11. Creating an introduction: So now we're gonna get
started with our intro. So I'm going to open
up a new chat so it doesn't have all
that extra stuff that I've already done it. And I'm going to now ask
it to create out an intro. And whenever you're doing this, you want to be really specific. If I just put, I am outlining
a YouTube video on, and I'm just going
to paste one of the ideas that we came up
with in the previous lessons. So how do I start a
cross stitching project? Can you provide an
intro for this video? So this is kind of
beginner level. How to use chat
GPT is you're just saying what you're doing and
can you provide an intro? So already with this, I can tell you for me, this intro feels kind of long and it just has a lot in it. Welcome to this tutorial
cross stitching. It talks a lot about
cross stitching and how it can be overwhelming and then that we're going
to guide it through us. This might be okay
for someone to read, but this would not feel natural to me and
trying to speak it. So I'm gonna do a few more
things to work on this. So what I'm doing instead now
is I told it that it should not take more than 30 s to
talk at a normal speed. And I would like it
to include the what, why and how of this topic. Okay, So one, you can already just see in size and made
it a little bit shorter. It talked about how will show
you everything you need to get started and stuff like that. So this is pretty good. So now what I would do from
this is I would actually take this out and
edit it further. Now another thing you
can do to change it up a little bit is
I'm going to say, can you convert the intro
into bullet points instead? So the reason for this
is whether you're blogging or you're
doing a YouTube video. Just using AI content
is not going to usually be the best
for you to do. You really want to inject
your own personality in it, intuit your own
expertise into it. Using AI to deliver out an outline so that you can allow things to flow
a little bit better, is going to be better than
just reading off a script. So overall, you can now take
this edited as you want and get ready to do the
intro of your YouTube video. In the next lesson, I'm going to talk
about how to use this to actually outline out your YouTube video in a really strong way so that you can deliver it with confidence.
12. Outlining Your Content: So we have our introduction
now it's time to get to the meat of our video
or a blog or a podcast. Whatever method you are using, 11 would really suggest is
even if you're blogging, use chat GPT to
create the outline. Don't use it to
create the post one, especially as Google and other search engine gets better at identifying AI content, they're gonna start
not sending traffic to AI generated content or to completely AI generated content. You want to use
ARA as your base, as your starting point and
then you as the creator, actually developed out
the content from there. So I told him what the video that I'm
creating is about and then I asked for it to
create bullet points on the different topics
that I should include. So you can see it gave me a
really long response like this is almost an entire course on how to do cross stitching. So what I'm gonna do
instead is I need it to be a little bit
more specific for me. You can see that right now, based off of what
it's showing me, it's expecting me to really
do a full on introduction. So now this is getting a little
bit more to what I want. So I needed to make sure that chat GPT knew that I assumed
that they had on materials. So if you're getting
something that's much broader than what you
really wanted to cover. You need to let it know
what are you assuming here? What do you want to focus
on and things like that? Another thing that is helpful is specifying the number of
points you want to have. If you only want to have three points in your
video, tell it. If you want to have five, tell it bad instead. And so that's going
to help you to allow chad GPT to
optimize that content. So this is much more what I was looking for when I
thought about this, preparing the thread, finding the center is super important. Starting your stage,
making the stage, and then continuing the pattern. I can now take this
and put it into wherever I am organizing
my different content. And I can do this for every single idea that I
feel like I need help with. You might not want to do
this for all of your ideas. Certain of your ideas,
you might be like, No, I know exactly what I
want to talk about. That's great. If you are feeling stuck or if you're feeling like I really
want to include more. I just don't know
what use chat GPT as you need to be
able to do that.
13. Organizing Content: Thank you so much for
watching this course. I hope that this
really helped you to be able to learn how you can use chat GPT as a content creator to become more efficient
or even to get started. If you've been putting
it off for a long time, it would be so great
if you'd be willing to consider leaving a
review on Skillshare, you can dive into the
project of just basically creating out your content
calendar using chat GPT. If you are struggling with
organizing your content, then I will leave a link to
a course that I created on how to create a notion dashboard for you to organize
your content. And I will leave that link in the description
for this course. Again, I hope you really
enjoyed this course. You dive into using chat GPT. And please, if you are
willing to leave me a review down below.
