1. Mic Check Course Introduction: What's up, y'all. I'm N, AKA Nada emropper and welcome to Mike Check the three day Confidence Challenge. Listen, this ain't your typical confidence challenge. We're not about the stiff robotic, believing yourself advice. N we're here to flip the confidence switch on and get you to shoring up like you was born for this. And let me be very clear. This isn't just for public speakers or professionals. This is for you if you are tired of shrinking yourself in conversations, dodging opportunities, and just want to feel more confident in your everyday life, whether it's recording content, walking into a new space, or speaking up for yourself. Confidence is key, and guess what? Class is officially in session. Let's go. Before we dive in, let me introduce myself. I'm Nate AKA the Gem dropper. And if I don't know nothing else, I know how to help people show up as their most confident and powerful self. I've spent years behind the camera as a video director, confidence coach, and an execution strategist, working with entrepreneurs, speakers, and creatives who need help on their presence on and off screen. And let's be real Confidence isn't just about being on camera or on stage. It's about how you show up in your everyday life, whether you're walking into a meeting, recording content or just being more assertive in your conversations, confidence changes everything. 2. What is Confidence: Confidence isn't about being the loudest person in the room or having it figured all out. It's about trusting yourself enough to take action even when you don't feel 100% ready. Most people think that it's something that you're either born with or you're not. But that's a myth. Confidence isn't a personality trait. It's a skill that can be built and trained and strengthened over time. So, what exactly makes someone confident? It comes down to two things. Number one, how do you see yourself, your self perception, beliefs, and inner dialogue. Number two, how do you present yourself, your energy, your body language, and the way you engage with the world? When these two things align, confidence flows naturally. But if you are out of sync, for example, if you see yourself as capable, but you don't show up that way, or if you look to par, but you don't believe in yourself, that's when doubt starts to creep in. But the good news is confidence isn't about waiting to feel ready. It's about taking action despite of the doubt. And that's exactly what we're going to do in this challenge. 3. Hack #1 – The Alter Ego Activation: Of the biggest secrets to confidence, you don't have to always be you. The best performers in the world step into an alter ego when it's time to show up. Beyonce had Sasha Fears. Kobe Bryant had the Black mumble. Who's your confident alter ego? Let's build it right now. Here's how this works. Your mind, it attaches to identities. When you shift into your alter ego, you're not stepping into your fears, your doubts or your overthinking. You're stepping into power. Do you hear what I'm saying? Think about the most fearless, unstoppable version of you. How do they walk? How do they speak? How do they own the room? 4. The Alter Ego Activation - Exercise 1 : Kudos to you. You made it through the first lesson. Now it's time to apply what you've learned. Listen, this doesn't work if you don't do the assignments. So I'm encouraging you to do the assignments. And don't just do it to get it done. Actually put forth some real effort so you can see the results, alright? Exercise number one, activate your alter ego. Name your alter ego, write down three characteristics they embody and create a trigger action. This might mean putting on shades, striking a pose, whatever you need to do to activate it. Do it. Listen, when I go get my hair cut or when I put on my for doa and don't let it be a sunny day outside and I get to wear my sunglasses. Listen, I go from being just low key and laid back to A, yo, what do? Like, I'll be ready to get it. You see what I'm saying? This is your opportunity to activate your alter ego. Let's go. 5. Hack #2 – The 10-Second Power Surge: Notice how superheroes transform instantly, like, their stance change, their energy change. They step into a whole new different level of power. That's exactly what you're about to do. The ten second power surge is your instant confidence reset. If nervousness hits, if doubts creep in, if you start second guessing yourself, you've got 10 seconds to take your control back. When it comes to this ten second power surge, you really got to stand on business when it comes to you. You ever notice when Superman go from Clark Kent to Superman, he literally starts, like here, and it's like Literally, chest up, shoulders back, head held high. Like, you're walking in the room with confidence. Like, even if you don't own the spot, they don't have to know that you don't own it. You see what I'm saying? You literally get 10 seconds to just breathe and let them know you're about to own it. You about to take your place. You about to take the stage. You're about to own the conversation. You about to own the room. You are about to own your presence. And remember, confidence isn't about just for speakers or entrepreneurs or content creators. Confidence is something that everybody needs in order to be the most best better version of themselves, the most successful version of themselves. You have to be confident in all that you do. You have to believe that you were meant to be here. 6. The 10 Second Power Surge - Exercise 2 : Alright, now it's time for you to practice your ten second power surge. Listen, find a mirror, strike a pose, take a deep breath and say your power phrase out loud. What I want you to do is record a short before and after video to compare the difference in your energy, right? Listen, do your assignments. This is going to help you. This is going to help it become second nature to you. I'm rooting for you. 7. Hack #3 – Walk In Like You Own It: Listen, let me tell you about walking in and owning it. When you walk in, confidence doesn't start when you open your mouth. It's the way you enter into a room, the way you hold yourself, the way your energy projects. A person can literally tell if you're confident in yourself within the first 5 minutes or I'm sorry, the first 5 seconds of even seeing you. You see what I'm saying? When you walk into a room, make direct eye contact. Hey, how are you doing? Speak. Let people know. Some people, they have this habit of just walking with their head down. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. When you look straight ahead, you're looking at your future. You see what I'm saying? When you look straight ahead, you're walking with confidence. You're making eye contact. You're not being awkward. You see what I'm saying? And even if nobody speaks to you, just know that the whole purpose and goal of life is to move forward, is to look forward. How can you truly walk forward or look forward if you're constantly looking down when you walk? Raise your head. Yeah, come on. Be proud of who you are. It doesn't matter about your yesterday. What matters is today and tomorrow. And gratefully, only thing you have to do is focus on today. You see what I'm saying? Tomorrow is sufficient for tomorrow. You see what I'm saying? Focus on owning the day today. 8. Walk in Like You Own It - Exercise 3 : Made it through the lesson. Now it's time for you to practice. I want you to practice walking in like you own it. Walk into a public place with purpose, whether it's a cafe, store, event, it does not matter. Use the present formula, posture, pace, eye contact, and observe how people respond differently when you walk in with confidence. This is going to blow your mind. This is gonna even shift your energy. You're gonna go from feeling maybe nervous about it at first. So once you start really walking in and walking it like you own it, y'all know the Migo song. Walk it like I talk it. Walk it like I talk it. Hey, listen, put that in your mind, and you better give it to him. Let's go. 9. Apply What You've Learned - Final Exercise : You've officially made it to your last assignment. Congratulations. Now it's time for you to apply all three hacks, okay? Now, for your final assignment, what you're going to do is record a short video of yourself, applying all three techniques in a real world scenario, okay? Compare it to the video that you made earlier and watch your new results. Listen. This is going to become second nature to you. Do the assignments and remember to record the videos. Use it as a video diary, okay? Even if you don't show anybody, use it as a video diary so that you can see the transformation happen in real time for yourself, right? Congratulations. I'm rooting for you. And I can't wait to see your assignments. 10. Mic Check - Wrapped: Ah, guess what? You made it to the final day. Listen, I am so proud of you. Let me just honor you for showing up. Let me just honor you for taking a moment to just recognize. You know what? I lack confidence, and I need help. You know what I'm saying? Let me recognize you. Let me honor you for taking the time to actually invest in yourself. Sometimes, when we recognize that we need to work on things, sometimes that's hard for us to accept and deal with. And here you are making a change within yourself because you want more and you want better for yourself. I'm absolutely proud of you. You've learned the hacks, and now it's time to apply them. Confidence isn't something that you get once and keep forever. No, it's a skill, a habit, a way of life. The more you practice it, the more it becomes natural to you. So all the hacks that you just learned thus far, literally, I want you to go to the final assignment, the final exercise and do your homework. Yes. Listen, this does not work if you don't do the exercises, okay? Do the exercises. Even if you need to go back, this is a self paced course. You can go back. You have access to it. Go back, join the community. You see what I'm saying? Post the content and let me know how you're doing. If you want to schedule a one on one, let me know, but I'm proud of you for making it thus far. And if you want more, if you want a full confidence course, that's around the corner. All you got to do is click the link that's coming up next. If you want the full confidence course, if you feel like you was able to master this one, and you're ready to go to the next level, the next course is going to blow your mind. If not, and you feel like this is as far as we go, listen. I'm happy that you took the time out to invest in yourself and to help make yourself better than you was yesterday and the day before. Continue to run it up, continue to believe in yourself, and continue to keep showing up with confidence, right? I'm e Liggins until next time, continue to set it up and run it up per usual. I'm gone.
