1. Intro: We have all designed in Canva, made before the bulb
was a field project, giving a graphic design, a poster brochure
or a presentation, or whatever it is. We have all designed on Canva. But what if I tell you that you can actually design
something really interesting and amusing with a gamba free account,
something like this. This, or this. These are all the interesting
and amazing designs made on Canva with
the free account. Here guys, I'm Buddha, read it and on Skillshare, I teach about management,
presentation, lifestyle, productivity,
and much more. In this course we are
going to discuss about various tips and tricks
off Canva designs, which can help you make some amazing designs
for your next project. Even let the creative
juices flow. We will start with some effects in Canva that could be on text. So there could be
various types of text effects that
you can do on Canva. Then we'll move on to
Canva frames to make some amazing photo
and video frames. Next on, we'll go to
making silhouettes. Those are white outline that
you can see on but Joseph, maybe a YouTube thumbnail. And lastly, we are
going to discuss how to make this amazing effect, which is called a
dispersed effect. This goes, we'll have
three pods software. This is going to
be the first spot and let's get started. It.
2. Text effect: In the first lesson,
we are going to learn about all the text
effects that you can put on Canva to make your presentation or your
posters much more ingesting. So let's hop onto a screen. Here on the screen,
you can first see this kind of shadow
effects on your text. So basically what you
have to do is to make it you have to go on text
and select any text, resize it to your liking. Then once this is done, click on it, go onto effects. Then you can choose among all the effects that
are mentioned here. You can put shadow to it. You can also decide how
much the shadows should be. You can see how far you want it, the direction you want it. How much blood you wanted,
something like this. What the transparency of
the shadow should be. You can even use other
effects late lift, hollow. There's even this Tiktok effect
that has on tiktok logo, that is glitch effect. And you can use this as well. If I increase the offset, you will be able to see
something like this. An even you can select all the colors which you
want. For the effect. You can even select the
red or the pinkish type. You can just simply change
the gut of the texts by simply clicking on this and increasing the
size of the circle. For now, we'll just
remove that effect. Just make it a plaintext. But the shadow, there we go. This is first effect. Another one that we can do is having the
spacing between each and every letter for this
when you do not have to take separate text-box
for each of the letter. But what you can do is just simply bring a textbox, right? What you have to
write, essays it. Then select the text, go on to this button namespaces and increase the letter spacing. And this way, the later we'll have much more
space between them. Or to make it more interesting, what you can do is
after every letter, just press Enter,
resize it a bit. Then what you can do is
select the whole text, go into spacing and increase
the line spacing the same. And see how the spacing
between the IJ and Avila TO increased this effect and the horizontal effect like
letter spacing effect, also works well when you are
working with headings or something you want to bring attention to on your brochures. Next step, we are going
to learn about how to make this kind of text effect. So just for the background, you'll have this
option and you can select any color that you want. Right now, again, go
with the yellow color. Then on the elements. Search the word color. Go on to graphics. Here you will find
out different kind of letters that are therefore
all these effects. So these are the kind
of funky letters. And right now we're looking
for this kind of nato. So let's go on again
here. Just right. You have to play around
with different keywords. So in this one we got the whole letter palette
for similar to this. Then we just have to drag and drop each
and every one of it. I suppose like this. Now what we've got to
do is to first of all select each and
everyone and resize it to whatever size
that you want. Then just move one element to the right and the
other to the left. Then select all. To position Anglican tidy up these hacks of how to do
this, how to position it, how to arrange it, how to align it
without much efforts, is all discussed in
some other video that I have uploaded on Skillshare
on the similar topics. You can check those out in my profile page
as a detail here. Now select it again,
tidy up a bit. There you go. Similarly, you can have this for title or something that you
want to bring attention to, something like this
while presenting your presentation
looks really good. Then you can also
experiment with other kinds of options like this one here. This also looks good and you
can find similar letters and then just make your word
around these letters. Now we'll go onto
next effect of texts, and that is the
balloon text effect. For this one, just light balloon letter. There are two types of
letters that will appear. First is one that
has a thread on it. And other one is the one
that I have paid chores. So right now let us resize it and put it here
and try to make it. This time. Let's go for
some other word like C. C will again select all the size it. One element to the
farthest, right? And the other two,
lift selected. Go on position, gone. Idea. Here we go. Hello cat. Saying is it again if you want? Then this is the balloon text
effect that you can go for. This is one of the
interesting effects. And kind of goods,
informal life. Similarly, you can have others as well like this
kind of effect, and then you will get
similar letters as well. And this one has a
grayish color and again, you will get the similar later. You can also get
some signs, symbols, and numbers on it. You can just experiment
with these keywords. Make the appropriate
design for you. But for the next
one, we are going to discuss about
something interesting. So this I got when I was
searching for more lower dose. So right now what we'll
do is just type in later. Then type any later, like odd. Now you'll get all
these effects. This is one kind of effect
that, that can work. This also looks nice. This is one that we discussed. This is also the balloon
when that were discussed. Then we can search about
more and more options. This is probably,
this also looks good. It's kind of getting
a Neon effect. And this is the one that I used. Similarly under
magic recommendation you can see, let us similar. You'll just click on see all, get all the letters
of the similar bag, and then you can
make words from it. So let's go for this. Okay? D, again, select all
these, resize it. Put one to the right
side, to the left side. Select all. Go on position. I'm idea. Now they're
evenly spaced. Now like this, you can make something really
interesting out of it. Let's move on to the next
text effect that we can have. And that is a vivid except
this one is quite tricky. But let's start making it. What do we do it
all the elements and try to make it from scratch. Okay. Go on to the textbox
and then they got Xbox. And this is resize it. Let's change the font as
this one won't look really good on text effect. So let's go for suppose African. Then again, we have to
select the textbox. Either you can grab from
your and drop it you are, or what you can do is just press the button
t and you will get. The text box. Then what you have to resize it. Remember which says this
was let us go for 74. Then select it. 74 steps will go here. Second, we'll go a bit down. For now, let's
just work on this. Here. We'll go on the effects and welcome the curve button. This is for this one. We have to click on this button. Effects again. And then with this slider you can turn
the God of the socket. So are they able to do

Again, select this one. Go on effects. Then curve that was minus 60. We'll put this one to 60, then tilt it a bit. Now what we have to do is again, just copy this and
paste this again. For this one, you have to
tilt it, something like this. It has the same degree of curve. We just have to tilt it. Now let us resize it to the perfect size I could
discourse perfect 98. Let's make this 90 it as well. We have 98, and then
this is also 98. We are done with this baby
texts. It looks similar. This one is quite big, font 143, but this looks good. And then do this, make it much more beautiful? You can add some
elements are gone, elements like flowers. Then you will get these kinds of flavors which you can put. This one Good Go. There could be this one. Not good to be.
Something like this. And I think we can
increase the size of all of it just to
fit to the screen. This is decks, and in
this way you can design much more texts and with
different shapes and wavelength. For the next text effect, we are going to use
the framed text. This is another really good. So basically what you
can do is you can have an image inside the letter. You have to do for that
one is just elements. And then type the word letter or just type the word frames. Reminded you have to be on the old tab and
then scroll down. Now here you can
get the letters. Let's try and make
this one again. We have to select, you will
get all the letters here. So let us select V. Again, put one to the right, the one that has to be on the
extreme left to the left. And you have the whole
word spread across this. You have to just select it. Go on Position,
click on tidy up. And there you go. It looks a bit over each other. Is base it a bit. Again, select it. Gone position, tidy up. Now, it looks good.
Now what you can do is add images to this one. So again, on the
elements itself, Let's go onto nature. And then remember
that from all you have to come to
photos this time, then you can select any of the photos that you
think will look good. Maybe like this. The similar for
doing every picture. Something like this will appear. Now, what if you want to
make a rainbow between this? What are you going to
do is you can actually resize a pitcher and select
what part will show. Let's say we have
starting the rainbow with L. But we wanted till here.
Let's do something like this. It will come. I'm not
sure if this would work, but let's try.
Let's put on Done. Again, increase it. Double-click on it. The pizza will appear something like this and
the rainbow has gone from here till here. Similarly, you can
do with any other, it like this one. You have to drag the bitter from your and drop
it on the screen, drag the pitcher and
drop it on the screen. Let's all that you
have got to do. You can have the similar
between every letter or you can go for different pictures
in different letters.
3. Canva frames: Okay, so now we have discussed
about the text effect. In this lesson, we are going to discuss about Canva frames. Basically like in
the letter of love, what we did was we had frames
for each and every letter. Similarly, what you
have to do is go on Elements, type frames. The remember that you have
to be on the Alt Tab. And now you can get these multiple options where
you can put in pictures. In these films, you can
make art similar to this. This, this basically you're just find out a really
good frame that suits you. So let's try on different
kinds of frames. First, let's delete. This. Would be, suppose this one. Then what do you have
to go is gone elements. Click this type any big toe, like goals, my link. Go on to the photo step. Then you can just choose any of the picture
that you like. Like suppose I choose this one. Let's see if it fits. Let's change the background
color to something better. This looks the best. I guess. This is the kind of thing that I was talking about and this looks as if it is
painted on something. It gives a different
effect to it all together. Similarly, if you just
type frames again here, go on to the Alt Tab. You can find many different
kinds of frames like this. Maybe like this, like this. Then you can just
again go on to some of the purchase date any given for what kind of
pizza you want or you can upload yours,
but just as well. Just put on the beaches like this, you have got Canva frames and you can
just experiment with it. If you go on scrolling
down Canva frames, you can find multiple
of the options that you can walk
around in this way. Similar V went to
this letter format. Then you have number, then
you have these shapes, then gallows, then
this kind of effect. And much more, men
I use this one. This one was actually
the one right here, and it looks really good to me. You can also use this one. This one goes Well as well. Then you can just
experiment with a ton of frames that they
have here for free.
4. Silhouette: So the next one that
we will discuss here is the byte outlined that you get a down the main object
in a YouTube thumbnail, or you must have seen somewhere. This is the kind of
effect that it has. This one is a dashed outline and this one is a
plain white outline. Now you cannot
directly make it on Canva free account Baghdad, so that you can actually end
up making it a really good one for your next
YouTube thumbnail or any kind of project. So let's duplicate this page. Delete these elements because we are going to make it ourselves. And let's get started. First of all, I'll just select the image and paste it twice. Now what you have got to do
is just select this one. Go into Edit Image. Want to Duotone, and just
select any of the duotone. That doesn't matter for now. Then select on controls. Now, one thing you
have to notice here is that you have to use elements that do not
have a background either. You can remove the background in Canada It says by removed Vg, but that is a pro feature. So what you can do is if you
wanted to remove background, you can go onto Google
and type remove background for some competitor, remove background for PNG
or something like that. And then you will
get Google search. And you can just click on
first two or three websites. And they will clean the background of the
image if you upload it on their website within
a few seconds and two for free, you
can just try that. Now getting back to this, what you can do is just change
the colors to Adobe color. You want the highlight to be. The background is black, so I'll let the highlight be byte. Just click right for
both of the color boxes, and click on Apply.
Wait for a second. It will change the
shape to my C. It has changed the ship to the
figure that I've uploaded. Now what you've got to do
is just increase it a bit. Not much, just this much. And right-click on it and
click on Send backward. Now as you can see
that it's white lining behind the main figure. Let us just one more image that I have just
converted to hold white. What you can do now is usually
it is really tough to get all the even linings around the whole figure,
but you can try. You have already
resize the white. One of the good is selected. So what you have got to do
is you have selected that. And now with the arrow
keys on your button, you can just shifted. This way. You can possibly
get the even laying around the whole picture. I'm just pressing
the Down button. And there we go. We have
got a proper lining. If you want to make it bold. Just increase the size of
the image on the background. Again. Just click. Relocated with all the arrow keys
that you have. There we go. Above at silhouette. This is called a
silhouette, that is the white lining
around the object. Now what if we have to go for
a dashed one like this one? This one, what we have
got to do is again, let's just select the
image and paste it. Here we have again an image, and now we have to put the
white line, the dashed one. Now this is quite
tough and time taking, but I think if you want
a finished product, you will have to put in that much effort in
the elements tab. Go on and write line. Now you'll get this dashed line. This one, the selected
and put it here. Reduce the size and
select the weight. Increase it a bit. I guess
this much would be enough. For now, what we'll do
is, we'll put it here. Twist it like this. Now what you've got
to do is again, copy this, paste this. You have to keep on going like
this till the whole object is surrounded with
these dotted lines. But as you can see here, what if we have to go like
this in a curvy manner? Now what you've got
to do is select this, reduce the size to adjust one. Then you can just with one
element, keep on moving. Now, this is a detailing work, so I'll just zoom in a bit to
make all the dash perfect. We have our figure here. What we're going to
do is to select this, copy this, and keep
on pasting it. Put one here, the other one. Other than we have put
change, twisted a bit. Again, select it,
copy it, paste it, and move it to the
desired location. Then just twist it to have the perfect
outline that you can get. As you can see, this is
kind of a straight line. So what do you have got to do is just put in the proper angle, then just extend it. Like this. Something like this. Now, let's just zoom out
to see the final result. Here you have got the dotted
outline for your object. The next one that we'll
discuss is these two effects. This is kind of a
glowing neon effect. It's different from
what we can get here, but it looks really good. And this one is a
multilayered effect. Let's try making these one. This is duplicate this page. Delete the elements
because we are going to make it ourselves. Let's select the
image, paste it. Now what we're going
to do is just click on Edit Image and go onto shadows. If you don't find shadows here, just scroll down and
you'll find it here. Now we want to click
all gone glow. Now, I don't know if
you are able to see, but there is a black
outline here and we wanted white because
the background is black. So this is going to this control buttons
change the color to white. And now you can
see the white one. Now increase the size
as much as you want. If you want this
much, this much. I think this is quite good. Transparency. I think whatever
they have is usually good, but I usually go around 40
and then increase the blood. You'll get the whole
gluey kind of effect. You want to increase the size,
you can do that as well. It's up to you what kind of
effect that you want and you can resize all this and
then just click on Apply. And here is your gluey
kind of effect ready? What do you do next is
let's just paste it here. Again. For this one, we're going to make this
multiple borderline. What now we have to do is again click on the Submit, gone, Edit Image. Go on shadows. Again, go on glue. Click on the button, and then choose any of
the color that you want. Usually prefer to
go from lightest to darkest to make the nice effect. So click on the lightest color
in the same color ballot. Increase the
transparency 200 size to whichever kind of
size that you want. But I'll go here for about this. 1415. Let's say 15. Reduce the blur to 0,
and click on Apply. Now what will happen is the whole image will
be edited to this. Now when we edit this image, again, we'll have effects
over this one image. So what you have to do is
deselect the image first. Loaded this be like
that for a bit. Again, select the image, click on Edit Image, click on shadows, and
then click on blue. Now what you can see here
it is under the none. I don't know whether you can
see that blue border or not. But what you'll do
is click on glue. Click on this again. Go on to the darker shade now. Again, the same thing
as we were about 15. Blurred was none. Transparency.
Transparency was a 100. Again. Now we have
the other color and click on Apply. Again. Just de-select the image, let it sit for a bit. Then again select the image, click on Edit Image,
click on shadows. Now you can see again
this blue border. Now the whole image that is selected is with
the blue border. So the next model that will be added will be on
this blue border. So again, gone blue. Guan the Control button,
transparency 100, blur, size 15, color
to the dark is blue. And apply. Similarly, you can
do as many layers as you want and you will have these multiple
layer effect. I would suggest to go from the lightest to the darkest color.
5. Disperse effect: Okay, so now in this one we're going to learn about
the disperse effect. To see just an example, this is the kind of
dispersed effect that we are going to learn. So for now, just
duplicate the pitch. Remove the whole element. Let's start making
it from scratch. So go onto Elements tab
and search for bird. Now, what do you
have to remember is that you want to search for that kind of board which
doesn't have a background, mostly rather than photos, Let's go into graphics and try to search
one perfect image. You can just have confine
any board that you want, but it should not correspond with the kind of
effect that you want. So for now I'll select this
one again. Tilt it a bit. The size it. We have yet, and we wonder disperse
effect on the photo. Now what you're gonna do is type the word splash and select
one of these elements. So this one looks
the best to me. You can see all the
magic recommendation. So this one also would work. Similarly, just copy and
paste it multiple times. We'll give this onsite
if we require it. Right now we can work on this. So what you have to do is first, you have to change one
of these elements. Do the background color. The background color is white.
We'll change it to white. And we'll put it here on the federal the bar that
is going to disperse. So we'll just put
it, resize it a bit. I think we can put one
more element there. Again, just change the
color to bring it here. Like this. Duplicate. This looks good. Now what you have to do
is on this other element, these two other elements, you have to choose the color that is going to be dispersed. So the blue color is
going to be dispersed. So we'll just go on and try
to match the similar blue. I think this blue will work. And again, resize it. And try and do
something like this. Let's do a sit a bit. You just have to adjust
and try to find the best. What looks the best? I think something like
this look better. Just shifting it to you. I think we have found the perfect balance
will just resize it. I think they've done with
the disperse effect. Similarly then work
on any of the images. You just have to choose
the colors wisely and put the background
color on the object. Similarly, you can
do is expose effect for any of the pictures
that you want.
