1. Intro : Productivity for me if putting in a 100% from the efforts in direction of my bones and these efforts should be intelligent and good today What's going on, everybody? I am boredom in it, and I've been sadly struggling with all the productivity choose time management positions that you chose, like most authors. But now I can proudly say that AB or most obvious issues by a philosophy name Kaizen. Kaizen philosophy not only helped me in improving my book environment, I'm achieving my goals timely, but it has also helped me in my life, but for maintaining better relationships with other people. I am a proud advocate of Kaizen philosophy. I feel guys in is better than ago productivity hacks. Because frankly speaking, Kaizen is something that is really practical and it does not assure them six, it does not. Some fine bus Bundy transformation are some tips or tricks? No, it does. I've actually a positive changes made into your lifestyle because it affects your everyday activity, thus affecting your efficiency and time management skills, which I didn't delete to you. Uh, Jimmy goes before they die, Isn't that actually help you to better all areas of your life and be more disciplined. Even desktop. Follow the Kaizen principles and the philosophy for some time and make an habit Gothic. And you can see the positive impact that it may lead to your life. Let me give you an overview of discourse. This dot-dot-dot understanding blood ties into doses the actually is, then belong to undo this story. I'm good gondola. Eisen's and most of you got popularized into the Western gods and how we miss Target adults. And for a lot reasons. Then, then move on to some action. Kaizen philosophy in your leg. We will then discuss many mortars satisfy this morning. If you use that. I'm going to discuss each author did needed how it really fit you implement guys. After this, I also share my own experience by using this Kaizen philosophy. Through this method, you're going to increase productivity by many floors. Initial angulation of thing. I'm really excited to see you time this last and make your work life and other aspects of life better day by day. Let's get started. 3. Power of Kaizen: We all know the supreme quality of Japanese products. In fact, the product from Japanese automotive industry, a tie standards and on bulk on particulars and manufacturers of automotive sector actually sees for these adopt nice product as a benchmark for themselves. But do know that after World War II, the fun was hard and no products from Japan, very low quality. Even the business and efficiency of the business and the management and everything around the business was also very subpar quality. But Japan not only of managed and bounded sharpness, degrading image, but it actually made it possible to sell their products off such a high standard that other people and other manufacturers see them as a benchmark for them. Let's say I'm deep into the case study of a company name for this, this film where the Kaizen philosophy started getting some attention. How is this Japanese or primitives? I'm funny, name Toyota was able to produce high-quality standard products on a continuous basis. Even after such a hard hit by the World War, the story of Kaizen medical started to gain traction and all 1930s then no founder of Toyota, Mr. Toyoda, which manufactured automotive at that time. Who his coworkers, but stops more to build something like this. He used to advocate and used to get everybody on the campus of his work environment. In 1950, Toyota implemented quality suffers. It was actually a unique system known as bird up production system. It's aborted a small changes in few offered business lines. For example, it implemented tameness and continuous improvements in quality, technology, processes, company culture, productivity, safety, and leadership. These small changes in the following backgrounds of the business actually led to some of the changes are becoming less obvious for you. All of this obviously, it does affected for this company well, faster delivery, lower costs, and greater customer satisfaction. In 1986, further down the line, miss them is AKI introduce this Japanese concept to the Western world, to this most popular book named as Isaac, the key to Japan's competitive success. It actually articulated a case study of Toyota and other companies where Kaizen philosophy was implemented and overtime, it actually short very positive organisms, but who obeys scalable as compared to any other tags of productivity systems used for companies beforehand. This book, but so popular that a guard pounds lifted and 14 plus languages. And this MOOC spread worldwide through all the businessmen and other professionals to improve their MBOs. But later on, this philosophy started implementing outside the environment of business, got yours and go productivity plus then life and to improve relationships with other people and get better person themselves. So here comes the question. Is, Kaizen philosophy upgraded our foot. So rather than me saving all the advantages are some STDs. So to prove that Kaizen philosophy is actually back and back foot, I will let you know that the power of Tizen by how many people have started adopting it and thus ending net own legs. But basically, there are companies set up on this loss of V, which consults other big companies, even like very big culprits, will improve their book environment, their processes cause codings and many other functions of the business through Kaizen philosophy. And not only this, many other non-governmental organizations and social betterment organizations have also used this Kaizen philosophy. And I locate this good deadlines and better improve people's life around them. 4. PDCA cycle : Kaizen was first introduced to improve the business operation efficiency. Later on, it got to popularized and people explored it a mode. And it bent on to affecting almost all the areas of length may be professional or personal. So the company, from where it all got started and designed a six-step formula to implement ties into their business, has six steps in the system, but stepmother discovered improvement potential. Septal, analyze scanning method. Three, dendrite original ideas. Step forward, develop and implement a plan. Implement the plan. Step 6, evaluate the new method. So this six-step method got popularized and improved their systems. And nowadays many other companies copy and follow this system to improve their business operational efficiency. Most of us are on a constant lookout for productivity hacks or some good habits to adopt. Like maybe it would be exercising. It could be quitting your bad habits or maintaining a regular diet, or starting a new hobby, which all leads consistency and commitment. And guys actually have been able to make you a continuous in all these habits and the moral of PECSA, which helps you implement kaizen philosophy, perfectly applies in scenarios like these. Pdca cycle is an iterative process for continuous improvement. Kaizen philosophy. So the PDCA format stands for plan, do, check and that. So basically the steps start from planning. Say it means to plan out all the changes that you are running in your processes. Although habits or anything that is on hand and contacting everyone that is involved in it and communicating the same so that everybody is on the same page. Bentham's this, it's paid off. So whatever plan that you have jogged out, you have to start implementing it in the best way possible. That was already mapped out in the planning stage. Then come the thoughts of death. So basically, these are the points there you keep on taking your implementation plan for when I went off track or whether there are some improvements that need to be done. So these are the ones who doesn't believe improvements that have been talking all along. And then lastly comes the step of act. So basically in this, if you have made some kind of change in the text, it, you have to see whether those genes are coming into action and are actually meaningful for the betterment of the process. And you start Act process, you actually start planning for the next epoch date. So you again to the plan stage, and thus it is an iterative process. So the next time you set your personal goals. So for example, let's take exercising bus. You have to plan, like what are you willing to exercise? How I would do it? What time, how was the frequency would be an aldose factors? Then you come on to the do. Basically you have to start from the very first day and start doing smaller for daily. Then comes the tick. These are the checkpoints that you are going to keep for yourself. Take yourself, whether you're going off track or you're being lazy, or you have been overburdening yourself or anything of that sort. You just have to check yourself, be accountable to yourself. And then comes the recessive. And if there is something that you have checked is off track, you have two blue and that's about it. Okay. So next on we are going to discuss the book written back Dr. Robert motor. And this one small step can change your life. The Eisenbud by Dr. Robert model basically pointed out a six unique things that you should ask. Keep asking yourself or keep doing by following this Kaizen philosophy. So let's go on to all those 61 by one. So first is asking small questions. So great minds are made not because of the right answers, but because of the right questions asked at the right time, these are the questions that can spark creativity. And when asked on the right bank and bring about good pollutants. Thinking is thinking small thoughts. So basically when you aim for something, if you're lost, where too much in the futuristic taught like you would on this module, have these many customers, you would score this much marks. Rather than doing that, you should focus on today in this moment, what you can do, what is a small part of you can think of? Right now. It can be solving that one customer who sitting right now on the desk or studying that lesson that you have in front of your cells right now. So rather than getting lost in the future expectations, basting, thinking about it, you just focus on what is that right now. You can do one small part, one small action. The third is speaking small actions. At least equally if you have taught the right, as in if you have done this against it directly, you will have on-hand, what does this small action that you have pre-baked right now? And you should just follow it. Or is solving small problems? When you start something new, you are going to face problems. You can not avoid it. So basically, other than focusing on the problems all the time, you shouldn't dust cytosol. One little problem. Don't be all vary by the big problems that you can see. A stick a part of it, then you can solve right now in whichever way you can and just keep on doing it. First comes up by giving small rewards. Rewarding loss as ETL ordination up. And even in the tough time with a struggling helps you give to other Dani. And the last one and the sixth one is recognizing small movements. And basically two obvious Ernie will feel that you have not achieved this much or you are not, are displayed with the achievement. But you should be recognizing no moments. And thus it down like that, you will actually realize how far you have come. What were the achievements and your boss, how you have struggled to be here. And I'll privilege. So by this, not only you have the motivation to keep on going further, but you save yourself from degrading yourselves in your own eyes. 5. 5S Model: Okay, so in this lesson, we will discuss about this model. So the fastest of the five S model is satiety, which means sort and eliminate. According to the Pareto principle, 80 percent of your results come from 20 percent of the efforts that you make. And Kaizen philosophy actually follows this Pareto principle and advocates to eliminate all the wasteful activities from your daily routine. You have to identify with other activities that a few times and does not add value who you are and you have completely eliminated. So for example, if you have a habit of checking your mobile for news OR gates and all the messaging apps right after you get up. Maybe this is one of the wasteful activities as it not only brings out your energy, but takes out a very important time, keeps you feeling I'm not adding any guy not value. Then in there. So that is another base we'll activities and you should eliminated. So now the second S is C gun. It is organized voltage, I'm home. So basically organization and efficiency goes hand-in-hand while achieving the productivity that you want to feel good. Life is a mess. And for this I thought, look, Isaac, it actually advocates that you should eliminate ablative. Back does not spark joy or does not have value for your legs. Even many health experts arrogated that you should keep your workstation and other logging environments clean so that your mind sometimes properly and you're motivated all the time. Now let's go on to that toward S, that is C. So which means aim for healthier life choices. So this will help you make a better work-life balance throughout your life. And this method is used to cut out all the unhealthy choices you have made or you unconsciously or subconsciously make throughout the day. And then you should replace all these habits, but something mod 13 or something that actually adds value to your life. So basically, it would read that you eliminate some of the activities in the morning, but not just eliminating it, but replacing it with something more meaningful. So musically that haven't been mitigating in the morning. Or you could say the habit of making healthier life choices in diet and exercising it other things throughout. The fourth S that we are going to talk about here is between set high standards sub i's in philosophy. Actually this encompasses though concept that you have presets time don'ts for yourselves. For this, the bar will keep on growing all the time. When you develop standards and stick to it. You actually have made better life choices and not going to achieve your goals after then you have taught off. Okay, so the last of the service model to look at, let us maintain discipline and genius improvement. So lastly, the most important thing is that getting rid of the biggest ways of what that is procrastination. Procrastination is actually made of cells which builds upon laziness or being in a bad mood. If you fall prey to grumbling and negative self, your model, you lose your vision for your wall. But rather than our step as adopt present step that you should have taken right now, which ultimately building up, you could lose the sight of your ball and just give up or laziness or by wolves that I know this habit put 2 into loop and thus becoming a harder on your way to success. So Kaizen actually advocates that you should live in the present moment or that smart goals, smart targets and small actionable steps. So thus, to achieve your world right now, to achieve today's goal. And similarly achieving tomatoes goal, and thus achieving small wins identities for that finish line. 6. 10 Principles of Kaizen: Traditional guys in methodology and this buff n segments Ottoman supposed to sit off guy. These are dense Dublin in fast concept of Kaizen. And it has gotten many variations of because this was molded by many people. Doffed dyadic 1. First I did various variations of these 10 principles. I took out the 10 that suits me and my Dick one might equipments are basic. First, a good Boston life by having good habits and men getting better relations with people. And second, have a good work-life balance. I'm walking culture by being more disciplined in the book because that's one of my major issues. So basically go and combusting this one or do was my virgin highlights personal growth and development aspect of this philosophy. So let's get into it. So the first is, there is always room for improvement. So continue to learn new skills and the old ones for healthy growth. This us that not only you have to learn new skills, but this gives idea already learned. You have no defined them. Angling. Second is replace old habits or new ones. Whenever traditions variable with your current goals. And basically means to keep up with the pace of the world and be updated so that we're not lost into the predictions or thought is seek assistance from many windows instead of consulting just one export. It basically means to actually learn opinions of multiple people so that you can understand what actual scenario is that rather than just depending on the opinion of one person, so forth, stop spending too much time making excuses and nuclear changes. Only possible if you actively find solutions for your problem. Basically, if you just keep on crying or has regulating about your failures, you won't be able to grab on to new opportunities that have shown up or find a solution for the same. You have to keep your focus towards the solution and the opportunities that other than the failures. So fifth is factual evidence or subjective opinions. Whenever you make a big decision, it actually directs you to be more practical rather than immerse children taking big decisions so that you add on that. So the sixth is ask why five times to everyday disruptions and problems. So basically, if something is happening that is a problem or problematic. The asked by five times on that to get an answer or the root cause of the problem you can bulk upon. So basically, suppose XYZ that is happening and you don't want it to happen. So you will ask, why is it happening? Then you'll get an answer. And the neural question that again, that the light and dismayed I'm Dino 45 times and then you will reach to the root cause of the problem. You can look upon. Seven is sometimes predicts only solutions are better than Oxley purchases. Basically, you just made a business oriented principle and I really just need follow-up. So you have to be very cautious about the cost-cutting if you are enough cost-based profit making business. So the point is not quality, but the quantity and the mountains, the 8 desk or distinctive path towards success by questioning the status quo. Basically it has all these good standards and you should meet the standards. And if there is a standard which doesn't make much sense, you have to set new standards then on the night. That is it things one day at a time instead of setting it aside another, just do whatever you got. Bu event if it is a smallest thing, doesn't matter. We're doing today. A dentist collaborate and communicate with others will benefit from chaired success. It basically means that we address society and you, every success should be fan failure should be shared, actually saw that you can learn from other. People, can learn from you. And thus this collaborative environment and help each other. 7. SMART Goals and MUDA: We humans are programmed to seek short-term pleasure that men striving for the long term and then getting all the benefits. The point of Kaizen is this only that you should be focusing on the long-term and the short-term pleasure. That's why it is so hard. You would achieve your words only when you're grinding and struggling. And then you'll reap the benefits in the future. Other than that, there is an also demands for a viscous and that is of consistency. Consistent. This heart book, I'll do it in one. And then to maintain it in the long-term is hard as that. So basically, I also struggled with consistency a lot. And there are some ways that I use torque and other things that I would recommend to overcome consistency issues is making goals more reasonable and more intelligent. Basically, you can also see that these should be smart goals. Smart here doesn't mean the word smart, but an abbreviation as ERP, which means specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. So you're both sudo all these quantities, the second half. And after you are dedicated to a bigger commitment that you have to achieve this, you have this deadline or timeline. So to say, that how many, how many days, how many weeks or months, or even yours you're willing to give to this task or this goal to see whether is it working or not before rejecting what happens. Usually with me and many of the people that didn't reject our task or by just five or 10 percent efforts, it does not worth it. You have to say something this many months you have to struggle or you have to do it, and then only will decide whether is it working or not, do not live. So basically, if there is a business with suppose gives cash flows in six months and my song, that business is to generate cash flow. So I'll give myself eight months, that is six months plus buffer time. And before it was, I'm not going to make any decision of stopping that business, making radical changes. I'm going to read it month. What did my afford every day? And then C but is it working or not? If enough for your efforts? Lastly, let's understand on Moodle. I could've have already mentioned it in the first, second video, but let's revisit upon it. So basically guys, integers that you should do only the things that add value to either your layer onto somebody else's life. If you think about an activity is not adding value, it is not worth doing that. On the other hand, if it is draining your energy, it is actually a really bad situation. And those Muda things to eliminate that from your life. So Kaizen and obese that you should strictly avoid any motor activity and thus do things that add value to your life. 8. My experience with Kaizen : I have few points for you guys at address my beliefs already reminder for Kaizen and how I use them to actually improve my life a living, or what does the improvement mean for me? So basically aluminum seeing him improving or when to improve her. I mean, strictly do things. First, that the improvement should be in the direction of your voice on daily basis. I'm going to write efforts. And second, that you should compare yourself to only OF US cents or your past achievements or your boss standards and not with others. In welfare improving, you have to compare yourself to your passage and not the improvement of others. Because normal glycine lysine, we are constantly bombarded with many changes hard or that it will take all that it is very hard to achieve. It needs very much commitment and other things. Kaizen philosophy just lay aside lens all these excessive parts and useless wordy and just ends you to focus on one thing that you can do now in the present moment and just keep on going and back consistently for an on-prem. The second thing other than the consistency problem-solving of Kaizen is that it makes you improve your cells even at the maximum level. So many people come across a time that the feeler get already working in the optimal 11, they cannot work more. Or they're already being the most efficient or like having both hanging highest standards. It could have possibly ever hit. But there's always room for improvement and that is what isn't. So P1 looking for both small pockets of improvement and better it could happen. And keep doing those as they will come out to a large amount in the future. And this is where you can keep up with the words or even medical yeah, ahead of your competitors. Also. Lastly, even though now that you know what the Kaizen philosophy is or any other kind of concept that you know, you should customize it to your cells all the time. Understanding Arctic woman's, understand your needs and then customize this system. Do you Arctic warming? Because not all people asking, neither are their book. So you have to make optimized and customized systems for yourself. 9. Outro: Great to see that you made it through the course. Again at you really need a positive change in your length. And I believe if you change your lifestyle, you guys enlisted will see all those positive changes that you have taught off. So now let's get into something interesting. I have a project for you that is very beginning and it was x dot and personalize your motivation to have a guy's in lifestyle. So the project goes on like write down all the areas of your life you want to improve upon. So basically it would be good relationship with the Obrador six hours, got any money, or it could be related to Eukarya are business like you want to complete that project or you want to have cost cutting benefits in your business or improve your cash flows. This committee to forgoes that you want books, dr. Bond. Next, right. I small steps that you can take on who improved in each of these areas of isotopes, how are you going to improve your relationship? Five steps of how you're going to increase your cash flows, how you're going to get that product. But all five steps you have for Ethiopia, and then start logging on the first step. And this just landed on a paper or a Word doc or any other kind of document and upload it in your class project is if you're not comfortable with sharing this information, I want you to write down in principles of Kaizen, optimize and customize to your requirement. And those principles you are going to follow religiously. I hold this last added value to your life. And that brings about the positive changes in your late on the best way of you than there was.
