But if you have not downloaded to talk before then I recommend that you look at the lecture right after this one. First, create your account in under two minutes and then come back to this lecture and what we're going to do in this lecture, his begin to create authority on your account. We will talk more about this in the algorithm section of the course, but what you need to understand is that whoever you follow on tic tac becomes almost like link or what we call tad to your account. So following random accounts is actually one of the things that we don't recommend that you do when you want to grow your authority and get great results. You need to find accounts that are similar to what you're doing and you want to follow those accounts. Okay, so let's get into the exercise. Make sure to look at the resource is in this lecture because there is an accompany worksheet that you can utilize in this exercise. Let's get started. So we're going to look up accounts that we can follow that our associate ID within our niche. So the first thing that you need to do is keep in mind of your niche, because that is what we're going to focus on now. Looking for accounts that you're gonna follow isn't like looking for somebody that you want to date. You're not gonna date everyone. You have a certain criteria of what you want are looking for in a person, and the same goes for following an account on tick top, you need to associate yourself with a certain criteria off an account. The first thing is that they would be in your niche that's fairly explainable. So let's look at what the other things are. You're gonna search for your niche. I am going to use the real estate niche, and we're going to do this step by step together just to make sure how you look up in search is to go to the bottom. And you were the search magnifying glasses, so you're going to tap into the search bar. This is where you'll type in your niche, all type in real estate and you'll type in your Mitch. Now, as we scroll down, I'm looking for videos that look interesting to have good lighting and have a lot of lights and a lot of lights to meet is like 10,000 or more lights. Now I came across this video and this guy has real estate in the text of his video, which is really good and targeted to me. And he has over 300 comments on the video, which is also a really good sign. So a lot of engagement and over 10,000 Mike's excellent. So I'm going to his profile, and I am looking at first the video views. I'm looking to see if his video views are consistent. So it looks like he has certain videos that hit the jackpot. Some videos here and there in over 200,000 likes. That's really excellent, but here's where the red flag is. The only much like about this is that it's not consistent, so we'll see that he had several videos that went over 100,000 views. But then you'll see that there's a video before that or after that that's about 4000 views . So when we're looking to choose accounts like you look to choose a date, you want to use the 80 20 rule and the 80 20 rule is basically that no, everything has to be perfect. Not all of the boxes have to be checked, but we want at least 75% of our criteria to be met. So he has tens of thousands of views on most of his videos. He's got incredible engagement, and he does have some videos that went viral, and he fits the niche of real estate. So we're gonna go ahead and follow his account. And, as you can see when I click, follow various other accounts, show up and just like instagram thes air suggested accounts that are related. So we're gonna look and see if we can find another real estate profile, and it came across this guy. This is actually a little bit more of example, often account that isn't so great. So I'll show you why. The first thing is that he does have a couple of videos that really surpass a lot of views . But the jump is so high, like this video, for instance, is 72 lights, while other videos he had over 1000 5000 lights. So the jump is really too much, and he doesn't have too many videos that are over 10,000 likes. So that is your TIC tac started mission, and what you'll need to do is continue looking up your niche and keywords that are related to your niche in finding accounts that fit the criteria. You want to follow at least 5 to 10 accounts to get started.

4. Tik Tok Explained : This is TIC TAC explained for adults instagram, YouTube and Facebook. These examples of social media APS use words, videos and photos, however there each built on one type of media. When we look at Instagram now, you can utilize captions of create words on Instagram, and you can share videos on Instagram. Yes, but Instagram was built off of photos. It was a photo sharing app. First, YouTube. Now you can utilize texts in your description box and YouTube. You can put photos in your videos, but the idea here is that YouTube is built to make videos. Now Facebook on Facebook, you can go live, you can create videos, you can post videos and you can share photos right. But Facebook was built off of words first. So now when we look at Tic Tac, Tic Tac is built off of videos. That's it. It's very simple. Tic Tac is used for creating videos for sharing videos and discovering videos, so we could definitely take a look at Tic Tac versus YouTube. Since these air both video core platforms, Tic TAC uses videos that are short, there are less than a minute and you're discovering other people's creations that are also less than a minute. So that experience is very different than YouTube, which most of the videos air gonna be about three or four minutes or more after looking at the length of videos that are used. We also have to understand a very distinct difference between Tic Tac and YouTube is that Tic Tac uses music as the core of its videos. You find more videos on technology that have music in them completely so their music videos , and they're also karaoke. Like videos people are singing along to a song. So the music is played more often in a tic Tac video than in a YouTube video, where the music is used as a filler or it's used as a storytelling element or it's used in documentaries. So music is used differently on YouTube. Now there are music videos on YouTube. Music videos are typically way longer than a minute, so on Tic Tac people, we ate short videos that are using the music as the core element of the video
5. How TikTok Works: Sounds: Let's talk about how sounds work on ticked up. Every time you upload a video on TIC Tac, you create your own sound. That's whether you're talking singing or you have your own uploaded music. The core of Tic Tac is about having sounds or music you see in this video that the user is singing. And so because he's creating this video and he's singing into the camera, he is making his own sound, which you'll see is recorded on TIC Tac right here. So what is available for you when you upload any kind of video is that your sound is recorded and it is saved as a file for other people to use. You'll see that when I click the sound icon, his sound has a title and below it our videos of other people who are using his sounds. You'll see that the original is titled, and then there are two other videos where other users are using his sound. So this is also how you contribute to the community and how you can also get noticed and seeing, because whatever sounds that you made, anybody can use it. So now let's look deeper into other things that you could do with sound
6. How Sounds determine TikTok Trends: you'll see that in this video, the ladies air dancing to a song. So when we click the sound icon, we see that title of the song and we see that Ah 187,000 people have used the song in different challenges. And as you scroll down, you can see that all of the videos that have used it, for instance, this one with the trio are using the same sound as the ladies had in the original video. Here's another video where the lady and her baby are using the sound. So this is how you can participate in challenges, and what you can do is once you choose a sound from a challenge, you can hit save, and this goes into your archive, where you can access the sounds at any time. And let's say you forgot with the challenge was, but you know that you want to do it in the future. You would go to your profile, and the tag right here would have all of your saved sounds if you wanted to begin a challenge right now, you can simply hit used the sound right here, and it would bring you to your camera page, and you can begin recording yourself immediately now, as soon as you hit the record button and the sound is going to play.
7. TikTok Challenges Explained: If Tic Tac was a car, then Tic Tac challenges are the engine that drives the ticktock are the key to understanding what motivates people to continue using Tic Tac and even being addicted to tech talk is the psychological attractiveness of being a part of a challenge. Challenges evoke emotion and competitiveness within TIC TAC users. They're able to see other people participate in challenges, and they're able toe way if they can do it themselves, based off of how well somebody does a challenge might drive your own competitiveness to say , I can do that better Challenges on Tic Tac vary in various creative outlets. They could be dancing, singing, skits, acting and all sorts of different ways in which people are creative. The key with understanding what challenges do is it keeps people coming back to the act.
8. Can you do this Challenge?: Okay. I got must, like Superman train. Really? They're like, Super Sam makes. Okay, I got must, like Superman train. Really? They're, like, super Sam make. Okay, I got must, like Superman train really there, like Sam.
9. Crafting a Username that Stands Out: crafting a tic tac user name. We're gonna walk through the different ways in which you can craft your tic tac user name and get the most out of the copper writing persuasion. So let's get into it now. There are three ways that you can create a user name on tic tac. Now it's important to understand that you get to put your own name and a user name on tic tac very similar to Instagram. But on tic TAC, it is actually the user name that will show up on your video in the bottom left hand corner , you'll see that the user name is there, so the user name is the key. OK, so we're going to focus on your user name, so you have three options in which you can create a user name. The 1st 1 is to just use your business name or your brand name, and especially if you're already well known on a different platform, or in general than that, we're sure that well, for you. But if you aren't and you're just trying to grow your influence, you can still use your business name and brand name, and it really is important that it's the same exact name that you would use on any of the other platforms. So there's like this unity that's tying everything together, okay? And that goes for the business name or personal brand name. Now the second option is in Mitch name, and this is basically you putting yourself in the category and maybe making a spin off of the Mitch so that, you know, not everybody can have the user name photography, but maybe you have user name that's called like Children photography or urban photography or country with photography. Your wedding photography. The niche name is basically using your niche, putting it into the name and making a spin off of it so people know what it is that you're about, what nature about. So you're kind of cloaking yourself in your community, in your culture and in your niche, and so that really super laser targets your audience. Now the last one is a very powerful one, and this is a gimmick name and their Arctic talkers who have created a whole personality that is not themselves right but specifically for Tic Tac. And this gimmick name is could be anything but It's describing maybe a role that you play, and it just has, ah, fun of funny, catchy phrase to it, or it's just unique in his own way. So the gimmick name is going to be something that is tied to your personality. So let's take a look at a few examples. So one of the first examples is this lady. Her name is Stephanie Lower, and she is. Actually she does health and fitness on TIC Tac, and she actually provides different exercises for people to do on Tic Tac. She's giving to the community, and she goes by her brand or business name, and she has been able to grow herself very well. She has over 7000 followers, and some of her videos have hit over 100,000 lights. This is an example of you using your business or brand name, and you can see that in her bio, she says that on Instagram, she is known a Stephanie lower and on Snapchat, the same as well. So this is how she maintains the unity amongst all of her social media's with her business or brand name. The next is the niche name, and you'll see that this person is called painting mania. So in this we know that they are a painter, right? And you'll see at the very top. This is where the the actual name is or this person's name is Abby. But she didn't want to make it a business, a personal brand. She wanted to make her page off of her niche, so calling it painting mania has worked out really well for her. She has over 12,000 followers, and her bio says, just a girl who likes to paint. So it's clear that you know what you're going to get when you come to this profile. Now the last one. Sorry, the photos not showing, but the last one is Uncle Bubble Gum, and I have had his video in other lectures, right? And you'll see that this is a gimmick name, not his actual first and last name. Um, he's not really a business. We don't really know if he's offering any sort of actual products, right, So this is a gimmicky name. It is a name that is based off of ah, personality, and you'll see that it a gimmick name usually has something to do with a role. So he's playing a certain role, which is the uncle. And then he calls himself Uncle Bubble Gum. So he says, adding more personality to his gimmick name. Okay, so all three of these are options that you can use Now, here's the thing that I would recommend for you to consider. Is that when starting out from scratch like, especially if you are not well known on other social media platforms, you might want to include a niche somewhere in the name. Okay. And this is because again, it may, it may help to inform the algorithm and also will help people to know what you're about. I mean, obviously they'll be able to see it in the bio and in the videos, but it may not always be obvious. Sometimes the I just goes to the user name and before they want to follow. So having an idea of what you are in your user name will be helpful. Okay. So, for instance, for Stephanie Lower, which is a fitness brand, if she did Stephanie lower fitness, that would be an example of combining her brand or business name. Okay. And, um, for the gimmick name, Uncle bubble gum. Let's say that he does comedy cause a lot of his videos are very comedic, so we could say something like Uncle Bubble gum dot skits are underscore skits or Uncle Bubble Gum slash comedy, so something like that would be helpful. Now he doesn't need to do this at this point. He has grown is following very well. But when you're first starting out, we're trying to get you passed your 1st 1000 followers. That might be something that you want to dio. So it's also important to know that you can change it. Tic tac allows for you to change your user name after every 30 days. So once you get on the platform and they start posting or videos after 30 days, you can change your user name and then when you change it, if you want to change it again in another 30 days and keep crafting it to really explain who you are and cater it to your audience, you can change it again in another 30 days. Those are the rules of tic tac. Okay, so that is some information on crafting your tic tac name. And to help guide you, I do have an accompanying worksheet in which you can brainstorm what you might want your name to be.
10. Create a BIO that boosts your Followers: welcome back, and in this lecture we are going to craft a highly engaging Tic Tac bio. But first I want to introduce you to a concept about Tic TAC, and this is directly related to how people are utilizing the bio. If you lived in the time before flip phones and social media APS, then you might be familiar with the Yellow Pages or the phone pages. This was a big, bulky book that you would get in the mail, and it would be a directory off all of the businesses that you could ever imagine that are near to you that could solve a problem or give you a service. And at any point, you could look up in this book what you needed. Find the business that you needed to find and get a phone number and call. And in a lot of ways, Tic Tac is like the phone pages, and this is because many of the influencers utilize the bio for a C. T. A or what is known as a call to action. The bio becomes a main source of telling their followers what they want them to do, what actions they want them to take and where do they want them to go next? And so, in a lot of ways, like the phone pages, Tic Tac works as a directory. You confined new people that you admire, that you want to be inspired by that You want to sign it further, businesses solve a problem or be entertained by. You can find these new people on tic tac and then be able to follow them on another major platform or in any direction that they want to take you further on their journey. And you can utilize the strategy in your bio by making sure that you to have a c t. A. That you have a call to action. However, there is one big factor if you're taking the scores more than likely, you are in a state of growing. So you're not quite at that point where you have hundreds of thousands to millions of followers, but we want to get you there. And how we're going to get you there is by crafting more engaging text and copy into your bio that is gonna be persuasive and lead people to want to follow what you say to do so Let's get into it. Crafting a tic tac bio. The TIC Tac by only allows for you to have 80 characters in the bio. This is by text or emoji. So let's look at what makes someone wanna follow a tic tac account. The first thing is visual stimulation. This is being something that people enjoy looking at. The next one is audio stimulation, and this is about providing audio that people want to listen to and utilize. Another option is to provide comedic relief. You may write skits or just have a very funny way of expressing yourself. And comedic relief releases a lot of dopamine levels in the brains off your followers. And they just want to keep coming back to what it is that you have to say. You become a bright light at the end of their very long day. Also, another option is relatability or curiosity. People want to follow you because there's something about you that they feel that they can relate to you about or there is something about you that really spikes their curiosity. The last one is educational. People want to follow you because you provide knowledge, tutorials or inspiration. You provide a lot of value to their life and you help them along some sort of journey. And when you sign up for tic tac, you'll see that one of the first things they do is ask you what are the topics and the things that you like an interest to you. So these psychological values are tied to your interests dancing and modeling these air like visual stimulations. They have all different kinds of topics that they ask you when you sign up. And these air translated really to the psychological triggers and factors of why people I want to be on the app and follow their favorite influencers. So the idea here is to translate the reason why your people want to follow you in your bio in 80 characters or less. What I encourage you to do is to choose a reason why you think that people want to follow you. What is it that you provide out of these possibilities? Are you more of a visual creator? Are you an audio creator? Argue a comedic relief. Are you relatable or curious? Do you? Can you add mystery and curiosity? Do you provide educational value or do you have a combination of any of thes now to translate this into your bio, goto a thesaurus, a dictionary and look up some words that describe your visual stimulation or your audio stimulation or your comedic relief relatability or your education? Try not to be too generic with it. So like you want to find words that are enticing. So use that the source in the dictionary toe help you find these words. And basically, what I'm saying here is that you need to find words that ignite the sensory system. Visual words, words that a night, the audio words that ignite feeling and touch. Look up these words and see if you could find some words that are descriptive off what you are and are related to these categories. Once you have discovered your list of words, the next thing that you want to do is think about what role do you play on Tic tac and really don't make this too complicated. It's just answering. What are you doing? Are you dancing? Are you acting? Are you singing? Are you fooling around? What? What are you and what are you doing? Are you a mom? Are you an uncle use Utilize the roles that you play on tic tac that you're portraying on tic tac. You can also think about what culture you might be. Some of the roles can be translating to certain cultures and how you can play off of those words as well. But overall, when you're brainstorming, you just want to come up with something simple. Don't make it too complicated. And then finally, you wanna have your call to action. So what is the reason that you are putting yourself in the tic tac directory, right? Where do you want people to go? Do you want them to go to your website? Do you want them to follow you on Instagram? Are you trying to do this to go your instagram following whatever it is you want to make sure that you have your call to action and place it in the bio? The last thing that I would recommend is to add a benefit that people can get from you. Can they download something from free? Can they get a discount off of something, offer benefits so that it entices people, even mawr, to want to follow you and again keep it simple. So let's look at how we can put all of this that we have talked about everything that we have discussed and put it into an 80 character bio. I wrote this little brief fill in the blank exercise for you. You wouldn't want to write your I am a and then write your sensory description, right? So maybe I am a flamboyant mother, right? Who offers a daily dose of my day in the life right? So the benefits can also be like what you offer. Let's use a fund where, like I'm sticky, I am a sticky accountant that offers 20% off your first session and follow me on instagram or email me here, right? So that obviously is just an example. But it is about the psychological twists that were pulling it people in so that they are engaged. Let's look at a few examples of highly engaged tic Tac bios. This 1st 1 is speaking to the audio stimulation. Her bio reads Soul music. 1996. My new single stay the way I left you is out now, so this gives me an idea that she's definitely musician, and the audio stimulation that I'm understanding about her is that she love soul music. 1996 is speaking actually to hurt Relatability, and it also piques curiosity. I don't know if she's born in 1996 or if she loves soul music from 1996 but I'm curious. And then her call to action is about her music and her single that is out now. So this is a good example of utilizing all of the necessities to piqued curiosity and to make people look forward to what she has to offer. This next one is a another great example. It's very simple and she says, Fun wife, dance, mom And, of course, your favorite models. Favorite model Dana Fit. Now there's a lot that's great about this. The first thing is that she's used like she is utilizing her emojis. The other thing is, as she's descriptive about her roles. She's a wife, she's a dancing mom. And then she has something fun that showcases her personality and actually gives an idea of what she likes to do as well, because she talks about modeling. So there is a good idea here that she's somebody who appeals to stay at home moms toe wives who still want to look beautiful, who still want to be fit and that is going to attract Ah, very specific crowd. The next one is actually a big account, and so they don't need to put too much copy or text here to engage anyone. They've already have grown to 1.4 million followers. But I put this in here to show you that utilizing benefits for your business works really well. Here they offer free templates, and they point to the website and the email where you can get that information. The next one is really good example of sharing what you do simply, she says. I do make up, and now I actually would say that she could add Amore enticing description. But she is already over 100,000 followers, so she is not in the state of having to be as persuasive as maybe somebody who has 10,000 followers. And she also states I'm entirely too old to be here. So this is also just a twist on talking about her relatability, right? The people who my follower, people who might feel the same way or people who think that she's cool, that she thinks she's too old to be here. But she's here anyway. And then her call to action follow her on I, G or Twitter, and she gives her user name. So you can see here that the examples are simple and they speak to their roles, and they also speak to one of those five categories that entice people toe. Want to follow you? So go ahead. It is your turn now to create your highly engaged tic tac bio.
11. How TikTok Works: Camera Settings: the camera is the most essential when it comes to creating videos and being a contributor to the TIC Tac community. 12. How to Navigate the App 1: So now we're going to take a look at how to navigate the navigation bar. So as you open up your tic tac up, you'll see that on the very bottom is where the navigation is or the menu. The home page is the first icon. Then you'll see the discover you'll see a camera. You'll see em box, and then you'll see me. The home page is where the videos that are trending will be found and as you click the home page, But then you will get a new video. So every time you click the home page, but in another video pops up for you to enjoy moving on to the Discover. The Discover tab is where you can look up anything that you are interested in finding. You'll see that also on The Discover Page are popular hashtags that are currently going on Tic Tac and that the very top of the Discover page our banners with themes to the hashtags . So the banners are giving you an idea of what the hashtags are about. And then as you scrolled down, not only do you see the hash tag and possible videos to click, but you'll also see how many people are using those hash tags at the very moment. Now, when you go to the search bar, you'll see that you can type in any phrase that you want. At the moment of taping this video, Popeye's Chicken was a popular search term. So I went ahead and typed in Popeye's Chicken, and you'll see that the first thing that you have our top videos and whatever is trending at the moment with this phrase will show up here. Next to that, our users and the users will be whoever has Popeye's chicken in their name. Then videos would be more videos with Popeye chicken, and then the sound would be any sounds that might have this phrase. And then there are hashtags, so you'll see that there's a lot that you can choose from when you use the search bar.
13. How to Navigate the App 2: after the Discover tab is the camera tab and we will go further into the camera tab Will me discuss how to create content, but that is how you would record yourself on the app after the cameras have is the inbox tab that shows you whatever tags that you may have gotten from other users on the whatever notifications of the inbox tab will have. If somebody like the video, if someone is now following you and the inbox have, of course will have any messages that are coming to you from other users on the app. And then finally, a last tab is the me tab and that is you. Basically, that is your profile. The Me tap has the videos that you have created, and you can also give a little bio as well on the profile tab. But what's really awesome about the profile tab is that people can follow you and you can also tag your instagram or your YouTube on the profile tab. So with that being said, anybody who is following you or comes to your profile, they could also find you on the other popular networks, Instagram and YouTube. Now that we have reviewed the profile on the home page. On the right hand side, there are more navigation options. At the very top is a circular photo. This is the profile picture of the person's video that you're currently watching. When you click that profile photo, you will return to their profile and then you'll see Ah, heart. But And if you click the heart button, that means that you really like the video. Then under the like button is the comment icon. If you click that you are able to comment, and then under the comment is the share button the share button and allows you to share the video that you're currently watching to another app.
14. Grow your Followers - pt 1: phase one tapping into your social circle. So in this phase, what we really need to dio is set your account up for success. Once you create your profile and your account, create an invite video and this video could be something that you upload onto instagram Facebook or you tube utilizing your profile name so that people can find you on tic tac in this video. You want to let people know? Hey, I'm on TIC tac now. Please come and follow me. This is going to help bring up your social proof before you even create videos on your tic tac profile when we talk about the algorithm that tic TAC has a very interesting algorithm in which it shows your videos to strangers. But it does help for those strangers to see that people are already liking and commenting on your video. And this is why having people who already know who you are following on tic tac, they're gonna help push your video out even more to people who don't know you on the tic tac platform
15. Grow your Followers pt. 2: Uploads: face to upload on steroids. You really want to create a schedule of time that you're uploading at least twice a day, especially if you're going to be using trending challenges and hashtags. And here's why. A lot of the trends like the dance trends and dance challenges you might need some time at least 20 minutes to practice the dance before you're able to even uploaded. You also might be doing collaborations, right, so it's important that you have that time to create and practice and then upload. That's the key with the uploading schedule is that you actually need that creative and practice time first, and then you'll have that upload. So if you can schedule in two times a day where you're finding a challenge to be a part of and practicing it, creating it and then uploading it, that's going to take a least 30 minutes to 45 minutes to do so, and it will take out some time of your day, so uploading at least twice a day is very powerful. But if you have the time and the ability to do so, try uploading three or four times a day that upload on steroids gives the tic Tac algorithms more chances to push your videos out, and you will get a chance to see what people like the more of when it comes to what you give. You will get to be a witness of what works on your platform and have more information on what to continue. Uploading has you participate on TIC TAC, so upload on steroids.
16. Grow your Followers pt. 3: Free & Easy Marketing: the Nets phase. Phase three is share something about your business or brand. Remember that Tic Tac is all about marketing in a very fun and creative way. This doctor right here he is using a very popular trending sound. But instead of participating in the Normal Dance challenge, he's just dancing around his office, and you'll see that when he used utilized the trending sounds and showed him and his element that these were the videos that really skyrocketed his growth. So there's something that's really cool about looking at people in their space of business and where they do work and just showing them having fun doing work. You could participate in the challenge at your business, and so people can see you still having fun being creative in the space Now. You could also do challenges in public spaces. That would be a place where you would have to be a lot more daring. But it does captivate the audience is when they see you doing best. So, for instance, people who do dance challenges at shopping malls or in Walmart, over at the grocery store or in a retail store dancing in a public space could be a really cool way. Teoh. Get more exposure about your personal brand, and this works really well for people who are personal brands versus Like, you know, in a business establishment. The other thing is that you can share a 15 2nd story. There isn't a rapper who was growing on Tic Tac, and you'll see that on his platform that he shares music. But some of his best videos. We're the ones where he shows his story about where he grew up, and he talks about what he's about, and he does have a serious tone to it. But it's very creative on how he spends his personal story and ties it to himself as being a music artist. So if you are somebody who has a really good story or you have something that you stand for , being able to show and tell is big. On Tic Tac, for instance, the rapper he goes through his neighborhood and shows different things about his neighborhood and where he came from. If you have something like that, where you can show until that's really captivating and it starts to give people an idea of who you are, what you're about and what they can look forward to when they get to know you and see you on ticked up.
17. Grow Your Followers pt. 4: Get Your Family Involved: Phase four is include your family members. Yes, it's really highly recommended that you utilize your family members and your friends to participate in trending challenges on Tic Tac. This is one of the secrets to Tic Tac that Ah, lot of people don't point out, but it's very effective. The reason why is because Ticktock was first a platform for kids. Now that more adults are on, watching adults do dance challenges with their Children is very entertaining. I think this also boosts morale on the algorithm because the algorithm is based off of the Chinese algorithm for Tic Tac in China, right? The version in China and one of the things about the Chinese right. They really value family and culture, their shirt and things that work really well on tic tac, utilizing your family members, utilizing your friends, putting babies and Children on their cuddly people in your lives that when you share them on tic tac and you do challenges with them on tic tac, it really pushes your video out more than others. So gather your people and practice a dance challenge or any sort of challenge on tic tac and upload that video
18. Grow Your Followers pt. 5: Before and Afters: Phase five do a before and after video. Another secret to tick top friends is before and after video. Here's why. One of the things that is really strong and Tic Tac is the algorithm of the watch time. And the more that people watch your video and complete the entire watch of the video, the more that it shows that it's a popular video and get to push to more people. So before and after videos are big on Tic Tac, their huge on Tic tac. And not only are they fun toe watch, but people tend to stay till the end because they want to see the result. So you can check out the ticktock editing hacks that I have in the course to show you how toe edit a before and after on the camera navigation. But how, before and after video is is you show the before state. Whether that's you like just getting up, your hair is not really done, and nothing is really looking good. And then you show the after and you get all dressed up and you showcase something that looks absolutely different than the before video. But this also could work in a setting, like sometimes people do before and after video of cleaning their room or reorganizing their living room or their house or their office. So before and after video could work well in that round as well. So I encourage you to be creative about what kind of before and after video. Could you do that's also tied to your personal brand or your business, Okay.
19. Upload your Video(s) and Edit in TikTok : in this video, we're going toe walk through how to upload videos from your phone onto TIC Tac, and we will also cover uploading multiple videos and editing the multiple videos in the TIC tac up. So let's begin in orderto upload videos onto tic TAC. You'll need to make sure that you do have the videos on your phone first. Once you have your videos uploaded on your phone, you will open up the tic tac app and go to the camera on the bottom right hand side. You will see a little icon that is the access to your phone toe. Upload photos or video, and you see the videos and images available for you. If you want to upload one video, then you'll just choose which video you want and hit the okay button. If you want to choose multiple videos, you'll choose the icon at the bottom left hand corner and then click the circles as per each video that you would like to upload. Then you will hit the okay button at the very top, right When you upload the videos onto tic tac, tick tock merges them automatically together as one video. This is been according to how you number the videos when you selected them. Want to upload the multiple videos onto Tic Tac? You will see that there are options for sound at the bottom. The first option is sound sync, and then the other option is default. The sound sync option is for you to mute the sounds that air coming out of your video and choose a song that Tic Tac recommends can also search for a song on tic Tac. Keep in mind that if you do choose a sound this way, the audio from your original video will be muted. Now, on the right hand side, you can choose the fault, and that is going to keep the audio, and you will use the audio from your video when you uploaded videos to took talk. They merge together is one video, but you do have to edit the full video within the time that tic Tac allows. So you will need to choose what parts of your video do you want to keep or not, and how you will do that is by selecting the video on the bottom line. You can choose which video you would like to edit, and then that video will be given the bars for you to drag and choose Which part of the video would you like to keep or not? Once you're happy with what part of the video you're gonna use, you'll hit the check box, and that will bring you back to the menu off the multiple videos. And you'll continue to edit each video until you are satisfied with the video and it meets the requirements of time for tic Tac. Once you are done, you can thumb hit the next button, and that will bring you to the next editing page. Now, when you hit the next button, you'll be brought to this screen here where you can choose to add text. You can change filters. You can do stickers. You could also still add audio at this point on. What's really amazing is that you could merge the video audio, your original video audio with a song on Tic tac. So if you wanted to do a little mixing, the original sound is at the top and the soundtrack is at the bottom so you can see here that if I have the baby laughing in this video and I want a missile with music. I can have both sounds happening together. And then once I'm satisfied once you are satisfied with the edits on this page, you will hit next and bring you to the post page.
20. TEXT and TIMING on tiktok: how to add text and timing on your tic tac videos. Let's get into it. So we're going to begin with you already filming your video or a bloating your video. And after you do that, you will click the next button. Okay, so now I'm on the edit screen, and what we're gonna do is go down to the bottom menu and we're going to click the text icon. Then it will give you a chance. It will give you a prompt to write your text. You can also choose what colors you would like and what fun you would like. Once you write your text, you're going to click it and hit set duration. This gives you a chance to time where you would like to place your text in the video because you may not want to put it right at the beginning, and you may not want your text toe last for the entire video. You'll see that as you click the scroll bar, you can push the texts further to the left for it to be earlier in the video, or further to the right to be later in the video, and you can short in the scroll bar or lengthen this crowbar once your complete with that text and you're happy with where is placed in the video. Then you go ahead and hit next. So let's say you want to add more text that follows along after the first text that you wrote. Well, you just go ahead and click the text icon again. Type in your text, choosing your colors and your funked okay, and then, once you are happy with what you have written, you'll click the tab. You'll click next, you click the text and click set duration again, and then you'll scroll the bar over to the place where you would like to place your tax. You'll see in the upper right hand corner that you can pause or play. So this lets you see how the whole video looks right from the previous text that you put in and to the current text that you're putting in and you'll see that I wasn't very happy with where the text was. I felt like it came too late, so I paused it, and then I dragged the text a little bit more to the left so that it would come in right after the 1st 1 and you can click on that little white scroll bar, and it just allows you to move faster so you can see how long it takes for you to move from one text to another once you're happy with how everything is timed and then click next to publish your video and post it on to tic tac.
21. How to USE TIMER in TIKTOK APP: A great feature that
Tiktok offers is to record and time yourself. Before recording, welcome
to this tutorial. We're going to show you how
to use the Tik Tok timer so that you can give
yourself a little bit of leeway to prep
before you record. And you can choose how much of the song or how much of the
clip do you want to record? So let's get into it. Okay, so you'll see
I'm in the TikTok app, and now I'm going
to click the timer that you'll see on
the right-hand side, you'll see that it
gives you two options. It gives you other
three seconds or 10 seconds as accounting. Nonetheless, all marker at the bottom is
amazing because you can use this to choose how much of the clip you want to record. You'll see I'm just going to
use the 1.7th one seconds. And now I'm recording
myself and it's going to stop at the 1.7 mark. So you'll see now
that it's stopped recording because I set that up. Now we're going to go ahead
and create the second clip. So you'll be able
to see that you can record mini clips and then
we'll all come together. At the end, we're
going to go ahead and choose the 3 second mark. Create a new look. And we're going to
choose the marker at the bottom to create the next and mark where
we want the clip to end. It's counting in 321 and
now we're recording. And you'll see that it
stops recording for you. And then we'll just
do it one last time, choosing the timing
that you want, either three seconds
or 10 seconds. Pulling the marker
over to the end of the clip that you
want it to stop. And then recording, you'll
hit the check mark. And now you'll see that all
the three clips that I set up to time are now
playing in this loop. And that's how I use
the Tech Talk timer.
22. How to trim your tiktok videos: How to trim your videos and continue shooting them when you're recording on Tiktok. I'm into Tik Tok app, but I haven't started recording yet. So this is me just propping, getting ready to record. Now we're going to hit Record. And this is the first clip. And then we stop. Now we're going to create another clip. We haven't recorded yet. This is just me sitting. Now we're hitting record. This is the second clip. Now here's where the magic happens. We're going to hit that check sign at the bottom right. That's going to move us to the next page, the editing page. Here on the editing page, you'll see your clips playing in a loop. You're going to have to watch to the end because if you don't understand how to trim, you can lose the trimming edits and have to do it over again. Okay? You're going to click Adjust clips at the upper right and your seat, you'll see that this brings you to a editing trimming option. You'll see the clips that you've recorded at the very bottom. And you can go ahead and adjust them and cut off and trim whatever parts of the video you want. Once you're happy with what you have trimmed, you can hit that check mark at the very bottom right. And you're using the markers to drag the bars over to the parts that you want to keep and trimming off the parts that you don't. Once you're done trimming your video, hit the Save button and then you'll see that your video is now looping with all the trim and edits that you made. You'll hit the next button at the bottom and you're ready to post. But the key is, is that you have to record all the clips you want first. Because if you need to record again, you can, but you'll lose any of the edits that you currently did. You'll see this type of screen where it was your previously original recorded videos. And it will prompt you to get ready to record the next video. So if you need to go back and record more stuff, you can just know that you'll have to trim it all over again.
23. How to speed up and slow down your videos on TikTok: How to do speed ups or
slow downs on tiktok. Let me show you a few
ways you can do it. Here. Nothing is being recorded yet. We're gonna choose the
speed options right here. This one, X is normal
speed to x is fast. A3x would be faster. You'll see I'm recording
myself on the two x speed. Then I'm going to stop it. Then I'm going to try
slowing it down as well. Record again. On the slowed down. We're gonna stop, hit the Check button and
see how it looks like. You'll see it's sped up in the beginning and
then it slows down. So you can record on speeds in the Tiktok app
and then proceed to post. Now let's look at another
way that we could do this. We're going to start
and hit Record. And I'm just
recording myself for about 15 seconds pretending
that I'm jam into music. This is all under normal speed. Then we're gonna stop, hit the checkmark and move
onto the next page. You see I'm at the normal
speed, bobbing my head. And we want to see what speed up or speed
down options we have. We're actually going to go into effects at the very bottom. This brings us onto the page where you can do
different effects. Now, if you move all
the way over to time, you're actually able to
do the slow mo option. This will allow what
you have just recorded. Like let's say you
record one full video. You can choose what part of the video you want
to slow down on. Then when you're happy
with it, you'll save it. And the parts that you chose
to slow down will slow down and the parts that you
left alone will be at the normal speed like
this one right here. What if you have
a video to upload that you want to slow
down and speed up. So this is one video
that I'm uploading right now to show you how
this can be achieved. You'll choose your video. And at the very bottom, once you choose the video, you'll have this little
timer here option, which allows you to choose if you want to slow down the
video or speed it up. Now the thing to
understand here is that you are going to only be able
to choose one or the other, either to speed it
up or slow it down. Then also the part of the
video that you don't choose to slow down or speed up is
actually going to be cut out. And so you're only going to get the parts that you
chose a timer on. So, so far, this
is how this works. Let's say if you want
to do speed and slow down an upload a video, you might want to choose
another app to do it. But if you just want to
speed up your video, one section of it
and then upload it. You can do that. That also goes for if you
wanted to slow it down.

27. Get your Songs onto Tik Tok: in this video, we will walk step by step on how to upload your own sounds onto tic TAC. You will need to have a square image and an MP three file onto your phone in order to create a file that you can upload onto Tic Tac. One way to get a square image and a MP three file onto your phone is to use your Gmail and access your Google drive on your computer. You can upload your image and your music file onto Google Drive and then access Google Drive on your phone. Then you can download the photo and MP three. File onto your phone. Once you have your image an MP three file you will now need to use the in shot app in Shot is a free app that allows you to combine photos and videos with music. You will open up the in shot app and choose the video tab. You will have to choose the photo tab and upload your photo first. Once you've chosen your photo, you would choose the check button at the bottom right hand corner, and this will bring you onto the in shot editor page. You will then have to choose music, Go to the my music tab and choose your music file that is on your phone. You will choose use, and that will bring you to the editor page. The first thing you'll want to do is, and you'll choose the audio file and click at it. You can play the audio file. If you need to figure out what part of the file you would like to upload on Tic Tac. It's best to upload files that are between 10 and 45 seconds, though you can upload files up to 60 seconds. You can use the bars, the editing bars in the audio file, click and drag the bar until they reached the mark where you would like the sound to begin , and you can also drag the bar on the right to choose where in the sound you would like to end. You also have the option of choosing the fade in or fade out. If you would like to add that once you're happy, you can click the check on the bottom right hand corner. This brings you back toothy editing page. The audio file is now at the time length that you needed to be. So now we need to get the image to be at the same length as the audio file. Every image has 10 seconds of time on it. You can click your image and hit speed when you cook the speed, but and it will most likely be at five seconds. You can draw out the speed by clicking and dragging the knob to 10 seconds, then choose check to confirm, so your image is now a 10 seconds. You will need to know how long your audiophile is so that you can add on the amount of time that you need for the image. So if this audio file is at 30 seconds, you will need the image to be 30 seconds. And because every image is 10 seconds, you will need to more images. So choose the plus and choose the image again. Click on the image that you have just added to the edit, then juice speed and bring the image up to 10 seconds and then choose check to confirm. Now the image is a full 20 seconds. We will need one more image at 10 seconds to match the 32nd audio file. Choose plus Choose the image confirmed. Click the image. Click speed. Bring it up to 10 seconds confirmed, and now your image is at the same amount of time as the music file. Hit the play button and listen to your file. Once you are happy with the file, you will choose save. Then choose a quality, which I like to choose 10 80. And this will save to your phone now because in shot is a free app. You may get ad and you'll just choose the delete or the X button at the top of the ad. Once you click the X button, the APP will then convert the video and begin to save it to your phone. Now the file is saved onto your phone. You will then go to the TIC tac at Open your tic tac app and choose the camera icon. Choose upload at the bottom right hand corner, and you will see the file available for you. Click the file and then hit next. You're now on to the edit page of Tic Tac, in which, if you would like to add any effects, you can choose the FX button. You will not need to add any sound because sound is already onto your file. You can also choose characters to add text or stickers to add emojis. You can also choose filters if you'd like to change the look of the image once you're happy with your file hit next. Now you are on the post page on the post page. You can describe your sound. This is a good time to either right the title or you can simply write what the song is. Then add 3 to 5 hashtags. Be sure to make the hashtags relatable to the song and use trending hashtags if they are connected to the sound. Once your complete with everything, you will hit post and now your sound is being uploaded to TIC Tac.
28. The Algorithm - A Simple Explanation: we're going to look at a concept regarding the TIC Tac algorithm called the Cold Open. So the first thing that we need to do is briefly discuss this marketing language using the word cold. When we look at a cold versus a warm audience, a warm audience is an audience that's familiar with you. They have experienced you before. They've seen you before, and more than likely they're following you already. A cold audience is an audience that does not know who you are. They've never seen you before. And so whatever you're presenting to them, it is the first time that they are experiencing you. So when we discussed this idea of the Cold Open, were discussing the audience that has never experience do before. So in the cold Open, the idea here is that you complete your video, you upload it or posted to Tic Tac, and the video is exposed to this certain amount of people that are cold to you now. What TIC Tac algorithm is estimated to do is to analyze what your video response is from this audience, and it's analyzed in seven different ways. The first is views than likes than comments how much is it shared the completion rate of watching the entire video, the integrity of the video and then also the average watch time of the video. The views are the view count on the video likes are how many times people tap the heart on the video. Comments are how many times people comment on your video. Shared is how many people click that share arrow on the right side of the video. Now the completion rate is based off of how many people in that cold audience completed the entire video. So the completion rate is really important with Tic Tac because it helps to give a good idea on what is the addiction quality of the video, like how captivating it's video. The video integrity is based off of certain criteria being how visible is the video? What is the quality of the video? But it also may be looking at any sort of malpractice content that Tic Tac would not want to have on its platforms of anything that maybe inappropriate and the final one will be the average watch time. So because people are not watching the video all the way to its end, then how much of the video is being watches it? 15 seconds. 20 seconds? Are most people watching the video? Four. If everything meets the criteria, as far as popularity, when it comes to these seven levels than the video is pushed forward, and then there's other criteria to be involved.
29. Algorithm 2: Verticality: We're gonna look at the concept and the theory about verticality when it comes to the ticktock algorithm. So there's something very distinct about how the Tic Tac algorithm seems to be, and this is that it glorifies the audience. Verticality is about reading the audiences behavior. Let's look at a visual example so that we can really grasp this idea. So we have here a box this box has been. Represent your video. You've posted your video, and it is going to be seen by a certain amount of people. This video is on a topic about flowers. Now the audience that is going to view your video about flowers working the categorized them into three different types, and we're going to call these types 12 and three. Okay, The first viewer really loves cats, and they have a viewing behaviour that is tied for watching a lot of cat videos. The second viewer likes to watch cupcakes and deserts, and so they're viewer behavior is tagged for bakery and deserts and cup gates. Now, the third section of this group of people are people who like to watch makeup videos. They're tied as having a viewing behaviour for makeup videos. So let's say that these three of your first audience view your video and those who are tagged as cat viewers. They don't really like video. They don't watch the whole video or they just swipe through. And let's see that the cupcake audience is the same way. They don't have a positive reaction. They don't really engage it all with your flower video. But the lipstick audience loves the flower video. They comment they like. They watch it completely, and maybe they continuously watch it because they love it so much on. Repeat. So now you are connected to the viewing behaviour of this audience. The algorithm is now informed about your video and about your profile in your account. And what happens is that you your account is now gonna be tagged to this lipstick viewing behaviour, and this is really important because this starts to inform the algorithm about what your profile is. So what happened when you're ready to post your next video? Well, the algorithm pushes your next video out to other lipstick type account because you had such a great response from the first video. The second video is now going to be tied to accounts that have a similar viewing behaviour . So this is the concept of verticality. So what we can extend verticality in understanding it's a meaning is that verticality reads the behavior of the audience and associates you with a tag Orrin H or category. What this means is that verticality is leading you to board's authority with all of that information. What we can understand is that what you are associated with matters we need to be able to control the algorithm and the way that we do that is by defining image.
30. The Viral Formula for Tik Tok: these four words are all you need to go viral. So what I'm gonna do is present to you a phrase that you need to remember. And if you remember this phrase, you will always put your content in the position in which it will add exponentially its potential of going viral. Remember these four words Add your own twist. Now, you've heard me say this before in the States levels of content on how adding your own twist is important. But I know that I wasn't specific in how to add your own twist in this lecture. We're gonna discuss how we can be specific about how you can add your own twist. So this is the ultimate formula for going viral. The viral formula is take something that is already popular and add your own version or add your own twist. Okay, We put those two things together and out, pops your amazing new video that is potentially going to go viral. The key here is understanding that when you add your own twist, your retaining 50% off what is recognizable, right? What is recognizable about the popular topic or video that you have already gotten right something that is already popular. You're retaining 50% of that may, making sure that you're still doing 50% of that. And then you're gonna change or alter 50% of it in your own way, which is adding your own twist. Now, what's really amazing is that TIC Tac allows for this to be so easy for you because Tic Tac has challenges on the platform in which you can already easily find what is popular Now, challenges aren't the only way to find what is popular, But you can begin using challenges to get yourself in the practice off, adding her own twists and being creative about it. 31. Intro to TikTok Ads: well, it is finally here, Tic Tac has enabled adds to be available on the APP, so I will be uploading lectures as TIC TAC expands their ad platform. In this lecture, we are going to get started with signing up for an ad account. So let's begin. In order to send up for an ad account, you'll need to go to ads that tic tac dot com and that will bring you to their home page. Currently, there are some glitches on the site, and hopefully that will be taking care of. But it may take some time for the site toe load. Then you will see their home page and to create an ad and to sign up, you'll click. Create an ad right there. They will ask you, Where is your company based out of, And you'll see that all of the countries are available for you. Since I am from the United States that is automatically there. Then you're going to choose what your account is going to be primarily used for. As far as advertising goes, your options are promoting your own goods, providing services to other businesses or promoting one's personal website or page that includes social media pages. You'll click next and begin to fill in your contact information. Everything on this page is required for you to fill out Kate. You also need to choose your industry. And as of October 2019 the industry available to choose from his Internet service, financial services, education and training, real estate, travel and hotels, retailing, food and drink, clothing and shoes or others. Now Tic TAC has some glitches on the sign of page. So I found that when I was trying to sign up that the industry tab was glitch ing on me. You'll see that it's kind of highlighted in blue. There is clicked the space, the white space anywhere just to get that blue highlight off, and then you can click the business website tab, and you can fill in a link to your website. You can also fill in a link to your AB store, a social media page, and then you'll click submit really simple sign up. And so what happens is, once you fill this out, they say that they'll contact you as soon as possible so we will take a look and see what that turnaround time is to get approved to do ads on tic TAC, and that is how you get started creating your ad account.
32. TikTok Ad Example 1: we're gonna look at another ad example, and this ad is actually promoting profile pages. So this ad is promoting the profile and you'll see that the user is Victoria then, and she must be a makeup influencer. And she's showing different makeup looks in the ad and you'll see down here where it says, learn more. I'm just going to click there, and it will bring us to see what is it that she's promoting and you'll see that on NBA. Learn More Link that it brings you to her instagram profile so you can promote your instagram profiles on Tick Top. That's really awesome. Now when we go back to the profile will go back to the ad and we'll see that you can click her profile picture and that will send you to her tic tac profile. So there's two things that are being promoted here, her instagram and then her tic tac profile. So that is like a two for one deal. That is another option on how to do ads on Tic Tac
33. Hashtag Ad Example: this ad example is what sets tic tac way ahead from any other ad platform at the moment. So we're gonna take a look at this ad and see why that is so. As you can see, the ad is cute fun, and it has dancing. It has all kinds of comedy and it and this is promoting a challenge. So challenges are popular on tic tac. So this ad is participating in its own challenge. The business company providing the ad is elf cosmetics and you could see at the bottom here that they want you to use the hashtag eyes, lips and face. So what's happening here is that they are creating an ad for their hashtag. So this ad is Ah hashtag ad head. It's promoting a challenge. When you click, join this hashtag that is going to take you to the hashtag eyes, lips and face. This is where things get really amazing because what other platforms do not have is the ability for people to participate alongside of an ad. And so this ad creates an audience participation. You don't see this on any other platform. Like other platforms, people can click links and they could comment. But this ad allows for people to participate in the challenge. And so the ad is going to get all kinds of organic and paid reach. It's really amazing. So when you scroll down, you'll see that this hashtag is tied to all of these videos, and some of these videos are paid ad. And some of these videos are just people on Tic Tac platform who are joining in on the challenge right, and you'll see that they have a contest so that it gives incentive for people to join the challenge. So this is the future of ads in the TIC Tac era.
34. BRANDING FOR TIKTOK: welcome to the branding on tic tac section. This section is very special because it's less about learning tic tac and the tips and the tricks in order to get ahead and gain more followers. Ultimately, the goal is to gain more followers. But when we're talking about branding, we are talking about gaining quality followers, people who are very much so in alignment with what it is that you are providing and selling . So branding is all about you and your business, and you are going to have to captivate people and capture them and do it in a weight in which is exciting, fun and psychologically bonding. Okay, so branding is all about bonding, and there are certain things that you're gonna have to do to get your brand to integrate on the tic tac platform. Did you know that it just takes three seconds for someone to decide if they're gonna watch your video? The user experience on Tic tac is all about scrolling through, so all you have are those 1st 3 seconds to capture someone. So along with understanding your brand, we need to translate over to tic tac and be able tow work in the timing and the whole culture of how tic Tac works. Okay, so let's get ready to dive deep into your brand and figure out how we're going to make it shine and sparkle on tic tac.
35. targeted audience: cultivating a community on tic tac. Just like any other social media platform. Tic Tac is about creating a community around your brand, and the biggest thing that you'll need to do is the fine your targeted audience and then discover how you can attract. Um, well, the first thing I'd like for you to dio, is to write down What is your targeted audience member? Quite often, people would choose an age range. They would choose a race or gender. But before we go into that, I would like for you to think about the interests. If you have a certain niche that you're part of, let's say, for example, you do nail art, then who would be a targeted audience member that would enjoy watching your nail art? These targeted audience members could range depending on what it is that you're offering and who it is that you think share a common value with you in your brand. For example, with nail art, you could share common value with other artists, so it doesn't matter if it's nail art or if it is painting on a canvas. There could be a common interest in the ability to create art until your targeted audience could be an art student. Another example Using now art would be, say, your nail art is targeting music artists people who like to express themselves in their fashion and so they would really enjoy getting their nails done and that being very eclectic, different and expressive. Or maybe you have a nail art channel on tic tac. Maybe have a nail art profiling tick sock, and you're simply targeting women who love to dress up. So maybe they shop at a certain type of store, so the range of targeted audiences can be a variety. It could be a spectrum of it, but then your brand and what you offer your niche could be a study stable thing. So some of you may already know exactly what your brand is and your target audience is. But for anyone who isn't quite sure, you can allow yourself to explore what it is that you're offering in what are the shared interests or the things that you would have in common? An interesting hobby with your targeted audience. Now some people are actually going to be branding themselves personally like their personal brand, so maybe you are an influencer. So now you have more of a range of hobbies and interests that you could explore, and these hobbies and interests could also be a targeted audience.
36. 10 VIRAL TIKTOK HOOKS FOR MORE VIEWS: Hello and welcome to ten TikTok viral video
prompts and hooks. In this video, I'm going
to walk you through a workbook that I have
available for you to download in which you can commit to a ten day
challenge and learn how to get your TikTok videos to spiral into
more of a reality. Now what, what does
it mean to be viral? It means that your
TikTok video takes off in getting more views in
a shorter amount of time. Now, this is important
to understand that there's one
main factor that gets your TikTok more views and in front of
more organic reach. And that one main
factor is watch time. Watch time is so
important because everything is based
off of how long someone stays on video. And in today's day and age, we have very short
attention span. So people are on a video for just a few seconds
before they move on, unless you're able
to capture them. So your hook is
the way to do it. Your hook helps you to get
more people interested. What it is that you're
doing or have to say in your video, which allows for them
to watch longer. So instead of giving you
a 100 different hooks, all different kinds of
amazing ways you could do it. Let's just start with ten. These ten or so simple. And what they allow for
you to do is to refine yourself and go one day
at a time with one hook. Learning how to rewrite it, learning what it is
that you want to say, changing the hook to basically customize your message and
then doing it every day. So this is why it's just
ten hooks right now. And if you want to
join the challenge, all you gotta do is
get this worksheet. Part of the challenge is
being able to fill in your metrics and we're going
to show you how to do that. So you're gonna be able to see like what hooks
were the best, which one performed the best. And you'll also get an idea of how people
responded to them. But we can just start
with the numbers. Here in the workbook. You'll be able to write down how many views you had on
your very first video. And then on day ten, you're also write
down how many views you had on your last video. Then you'll also go into
your average watch time, and we'll show you
how to find that. Your average watch time is going to be something
that you can use. If you have a business
or creator account. You'll be able to see your watch time for each video
and then you'll be able to record that down and be able to see how each video
performed over time. Now here are your
ten viral hooks. We're going to keep
this so simple, because simple really makes a lot more reach
than anything else. Okay? So the first one is me when I, for example, go to the mall. So you would fill
this in for yourself, me when I'm eating cake or
me when I'm whatever is, according to your theme. The second one is different
types of people when they, so you can use this
idea in any sort of category to describe customers, clients, the people
you hang out with, the people who are
related to your theme. When you see people with blank, then you would fill that in. Or how people act when when
you try to do something. But you can't see these
are all very simple. And they get right to the point and give you a chance to kind of act it out or
showcase what it is. Or you can write it, right? You can have other texts. So this here I'm showing you
in the workbook how you fill in the hooks with your own
variety of how you would say, for this example, I wrote different types of
people and they eat. And you'll see that this
creator who is linked below, but you can also see
his picture here, that he does a great job with this different types
of people in the heat. So you can change this
around and you can say, instead of different
types of people, you could say something
like different types of singers if you're a music, or different types of golfers, golf, whatever it is
that suits your theme. And so what you can also
consider is to hold your hook. You can time it to stay
there for the whole video. But some of you may want
to write other things. So I have here a
recommendation on how long you should
have your hook. Basically for 9 second video. Video, you want your
hook to at least be three seconds long before you
put something else there. For 12 second video, three to six seconds, and so on and so forth. Now, these are not very strict, but they're just
suggestions that gives you an idea of the temple
momentum you want to give. If you're going to change
your hook and not leave it up for the entire video. So thank you so much. And if you guys really
like these TikTok videos, give me a like and check out the workbook down below
that I've created for you. I also have a course on Udemy, which helps you go through
it if you really need help, step-by-step tutorials
