1. Introduction to the class : welcome to my class on painting food. Really are fees embody 20 Syria from Limitless are you can know more about me on my profile on skill. Share a lot of proven billions, and they are one of my favorite subjects to paint. And in this cause, I'm going to take you step by step on picking the colors to paint the bougainvillea trees, and we'll have a simple brush exercise to paint, after which we'll paint a moving. We're free step by step, and by the end, off the claws, you would have a woman really a tree painted in three different techniques. It's a short, simple class that anyone and everyone at any skill level conjoined. I'm so excited to pain bougainvillea trees with you I'll see in the class.
2. Materials required : the class requires minimal supplies. The 1st 1 we would need is a watercolor people, preferably 300 GSM and cold press. You can choose any size off the people that you want to paint with. And alternatively, even if you want to take a regular sketchbook that you paint and create, every day is perfectly fine toe. I'll be using the Kadi paper sketchbook today for the class. Next, you would need watercolor pains for the class. I'll be using a variety off pink shades, but you can use any shades or close that you want for the class. And next you would need one drowned brush. I'm using the size six off the Princeton heritage because it has really good point for doing the 10 lines also and works perfectly to paint the Bogan bilious and lastly, will need a cop or a bowel filled with clear water. And that's all. We are ready for the class
3. Color palette + brush exercise : to get started. The first thing that we'll do is watch all the colors that you're going to paint your bougainvillea trees today. So here, a big variety off pink shades, which I'll be using in the class. The 1st 1 is a beautiful vine color. It's little bit DACA and look very nice when I add little shadows toe the book and real trees. The next one is a very beautiful pink, which is my favorite to paint the book and real trees with this pink is from the tropicals palette off prima, and this one is a peachy pink. It is little lighter and more or like a pistol ping to look nice when you add to some parts of the trees, and I'm adding two more shades off pink. One is a bright open, which is like opened upping, and the last one is red pink, so it is good enough to have just like food to five colors to paint the bougainvillea trees . It can even be five different shades off orange or even poeple or any other color that you like and lastly, will need a Bronco all off to paint the trunk off the tree. So moving on to the next is a very simple brush exercise where I'm going to tell you step by step on how to me thes simple brushstrokes, which will look like the Bogan, really are trees. So the first exercise here is to pain small strokes like thes closed by. In just one direction. You can paint and Freddie the size off the strokes by applying a little pressure. Also, by doing this exercise, it will help you to lose a new brush stroke. So once you have done with the first exercise, the next one is to pain the same strokes. But in go to three different angles. That is not just painting in one direction that you paint it. You can just add the's strokes in different angles like this, and the third exercises toe paint keystrokes by reading with little pressure. That is, just apply a little pressure for few strokes, and for some strokes you can apply more pressure. So by doing this you will get a variety off different strokes, which will make your who can really tree look all together very pretty. You can practice this brush exercise until you're very comfortable but painting such strokes and you feel you're confident enough to paint the woman really trees and viol. You were practicing this exercise. You can try to explode different styles or something that you like. You may use little more water while painting thes and just dropping some darko color, which will bring in some contrast and make it look very interesting. So this gives a beautiful effort, and you can try different things and explore that is always no limit toe. Explore such things and in case if you ever wanted to see me paint these strokes pretty closely, here it is so you can carefully watch how I'm applying pressure and waving with the strokes and a loving my brush to dance. And it's basically a very fun thing to do and just keeping the clues and mindless and just enjoy the process. And if you observe that while painting these shocks were them always doing is in the center , I make it a little bit crowded and towards the outer side. I keep those strokes really small and 10 and very loose, and sometimes it does not even connected. So the same exercise when you apply while painting a Bogan military. It will look even more nice and pretty, and now I'll repeat the same, but with a little bit off, bigger strokes and more loose strokes. And you can see the difference that just by waiting with little stroke size, the entire look off the tree or the feel off the tree will change. So basically, it's just that no toe bogan realer trees that you paint can just look. Seems so. Every stroke that you do is just pretty on its way. And, yes, you can still keep practicing them until you are happy with these brush strokes. Now you can see how we have evolved a brushstroke step by step, and I hope that you found this easy to follow along and also being able to paint such beautiful brush strokes for our bougainvillea trees.
4. Tree 1 - using dry technique : after the brush exercise, we would pain the first type off bougainvillea trees, which is using only the dry technique. We would start by painting the trunk off the tree force, but will give us the idea off how the shape off our tree is. So I'm just painting a long trunk like this and some branches from the sites. You can also use a need reference if you want, or just watch what I'm doing and just paint the type and the size off the tree that I'm doing while you're painting thes branches. It is not necessary for you to keep them connected and Freddie straight. You can just break them like, however just painted and just keep it very loose and simple and league. And now we would begin painting the Wogan really off flies. We'll be painting in the dry technique, which means that you just add red paint on the dry surface. You don't have to read the paper and trial. So, first, would you do is just paint along the branches that you have painted already. If you additionally want any green color, you can add prodigious prayer for painting the pink all over so I'm just using them. And in the center you can paint a little bigger stroke so that you can just covered up the space easily, and I will repeat the same for the other branches off the tree toe. I think this is very easy, Meco to paint a tree like this like you start from the inside and then slowly move towards the outer side off the tree with the strokes are very loose and just small like this. - And once you're almost earned by filling up the space in the center of the tree, what you can do with at the smaller brush strokes in just the outer side, remember to keep it very loose like this and very tiny, and it's not necessary to be connected. You can see how loosely I'm adding these and in few cases like this over here value. Add these So many are smaller strokes on the outside. What happens is the entire shape off the tree, my gene like how this changed over here, it looks like her ball in the top, which I'm not very satisfied with. So later on, what you can do is in case if this ever happens by your painting. You can always just add extra branches like this and try to change those shape off the tree like how I'm doing it over here. I'm just redoing those branches by doing this. I'm trying to change those shape off the tree like this, and you can see that the entire look off the tree is slowly changing when I'm adding these branches. So remember, in case if this ever happens, you can just do the same. What I'm doing over here. And now, after adding the branches, I'll just add the little strokes. And this time, when I'm adding, I'll be very careful to not to overdo it. So the key is basically, you should know when you need to stop, and that is when you know that you were happy with what you have painted. So stop doing ones. You feel that this is come out good, and now I think that this tree looks just so perfect and beautiful. Let's move on to the next
5. Tree 2 - using wet in wet technique : painting Bogan Really trees in Britain. Bread is one off my favorite ways to paint, and in this lesson, I'll be sharing my techniques on painting them. First. Would be able to do is paint a trunk off the tree like this and add some branches. You can even sketch though branches with the pencil first if you are not very sure off the shape off the tree. One. I'm just doing it randomly with the paintbrush on these branches actually defined the shape off your tree. The next step after painting the branches is to load your brush with some Clearwater and is gently tamp it over the branches like this. So when you do this, the color from the branches will bleed into the Clearwater. But that's OK, because we're going to add in pink color. Anyways, this is just for the center off the tree. The next step that you're going to do is add undiluted pink over the red self. It's like this. You can add different shades off pink, and you will see how beautifully the color bleeds and blends into each other. They'll bring out a very beautiful effect and file, Um, doing this I'm also adding thes smaller stocks towards the auto side off the tree, so that when this Driesell dry as one whole layer and not just multiple layers, which will make it look like patches and Lee Tron Vinit is still. But what you can do is pick a little bit off darko color off the same like the wine color that I have. So I'm just adding over here to make it look like, oh, shadow part in the tree. So this will also given a nice effort. But make sure that you do when the surface is still red Ordell's. It warrants much and blend well. So that's it. We are almost done with the Britain red bougainvillea tree, and I think it looks ready pretty as it is, and you can stop painting ones. You feel happy with the tree that your painter just adding thes little tiny strokes, which will make it look more interesting on just adding a little bit off color in the center to make it look finished. And that's all we have finished painting the bougainvillea tree in the Western red technique
6. Tree 3 - using dry + wet in wet technique : after painting the bougainvillea tree using the dry and the wet on wet technique. The next one is a combination off boat, and we learn how to paint a bogan, really a tree with combining for the dry and bread and bread technique. So first, to begin with, we'll just paint the trunk and the branches off the trees. And as I mentioned before, you could also use any reference for the shape and size off the tree. If you want. I'm just doing it very randomly, and for this one I'll be adding more branches, small branches like this so I can fill in more off the bogan, really us. And now we will combine the dry and of red and red technique for painting the Bogan really a tree. So first, what I'm doing is just with the dry technique. I'm filling up little on the top like this in the center and less on the outer side. It can just be ready random and next. Would you do will just take some clear water and just added little in between the spaces. Make sure that you have some wide gaps like this on towards the outer, also you can just drop in little clear water like this and then spread it are low and then taken some diluted pink color, and you can just do the written red technique. You see how beautiful the outer side off the three part looks. It has both light and dark shade, and it looks ready, mesmerizing. I really enjoy watching the Pinkola bleed slowly into the wet Sofia's and create beautiful effects. You can also add different shades off pink like you can add a little peach pink and a bright pink so that so that when it dries, will have a for I t off pink shades and tell me the entire tree look very vibrant and pretty and towards the outer side. After doing the veteran Fred, you can add these smaller strokes that I'm adding, and if required, you can redo the branches again like this and probably extended little more if you want to change the shape off your tree little bit, which I'm doing it right now and I'll just add in the final touches to this and that's all . We are done with the dry plus Betton, where bougainvillea trick in the next lesson We'll have a quick overview off what we have learned today and also some inspirations and project ideas for you.
7. Overview + more project ideas + next class : thank you for watching my claws. I hope that you enjoy painting moving bilious in three different ways. Using the dry Britain red and dry players Britain with let me know what was your favorite technique, and you can also use them toe Illustrate. Such paintings, like this thesis, are just simple paintings that I did. But if you want to learn in more detail on how to pay endure illustrations, you can take one off. My skill shacks last on this, and you can learn how to be beautiful doors and learn about proportion and all. And you can add these bougainvillea trees to these illustrations, so be creative and enjoy. And these are some off my paintings that I did so the same technique that we learned can be used to paint any type off streets like green color. All you need to do is just change the color off the tree that you want. Even autumn trees can be painted in the same way. I'm currently thinking on having a class like this where I teach or detail illustration with Bogan, Villiers and does, and I hope to see you in my next class, too. You can follow me on skill share so that you get updated off all the new classes that I'm going to launch. And lastly, I would really appreciate you to leave a class review if you enjoyed this class until then , Happy painting. And I will see you soon again.
