warm welcome to this new journey at the
discovery of Mi Journey B seven. Congratulations on choosing to start this journey with me. I'm thrilled to guide you in the amazing universe
of Mi Journey seven, and unless your
creativity to start generating jaw dropping
mind blowing images. In a world that is changing
with the TVI that is bringing a new incredible revolution in everything from
market to communication, the power to speak with AI, the knowledge on how to
interact with software like M journey will be a key skill that will
be always more needed. So I decided to create this class to help you
master the software and acquire some precious skills that will be very
helpful in the future. I'm Ricardos Croca, a professional multimedia
designer based in Rome, Italy, and a Skillshare teacher. In the last year, I created more than 100,000
images with Migurn and helped more than 3,000
students to create mind blowing images with
MjourneF photography to poster. Now you can not only create
mind blowing images, but you can animate them and start creating
your own movie. With the release of Mi
journey video model, everything changed
because now you have the best model for
generating images that can animate and create
stunning videos up to 27. What you can achieve with
these two components, images and videos, can
really blow your mind. So buckle up, I will show you what you will
learn in this class. First of all, I will show you the interface of
Mi journey seven, the web interface of Mi journey, and everything you
need to know to start using the right
way Mi journey. We will see how you can use the creation bar, the settings. We will see all the different
use you can do of images. We see everything you can achieve with the
style reference. And really, at the
end of this section, you will be able to create
some mind blowing images. Then we will delve into
the video generation. And I will show
you everything you need to know to start
creating right away, amazing new videos with
Mjourney animating your images. Then we'll see in a
couple of lesson how to edit your videos and
images with Cap cap. So you will be
able at the end of this class to create
your own piece of art. Don't worry if it is the first class you
see about Mi journey, I will get you covered. I will start from
the basis and help you level up your creation with Me Journey till you will master every aspect of this
incredible software, and you will be able to create some breathtaking piece of art. I'm really happy that
you are here with me, and I will do my best to share
with you all my secrets, all my tips to make you get
the most of me journey. Without further ado, let's start this new incredible
journey together, and I promise at the end
of this creative voyage, you will be able to create
something beautiful. So welcome on board,

2. Lesson02 Project Class: So welcome to your
Project class. For this class, I chose
five different team. You will have to
choose one of them and create your own
image or video so that you can share your
beautiful artwork to the community and get some
advice, some feedback. I choose carefully
the subject to be easy but interesting
and challenging. Let's see what are the teams that you can use for
your project class. First theme is a floating island powered by musical frequencies. The second team is the Lighting tras riding
a windborn beast. The third team is crystal Giants emerging
from a frozen ocean. The fourth team is
a caterl built by light itself in eternal sunset, the fifth concept is a sailing boat in a stormy
night on the ocean. I'd really love if you
could start with one of these five basic
prompt, add detail, add more information,
craft your own perfect, prompt and create your
visual masterpiece. That could be both
an image or a video. And, of course,
I'd really love if you would like to share it with other students to show your first steps into
this amazing world. Now we are ready to
start our journey into the discovery of
Mid Journey B seven.
3. Lesson03 Midjourney interface: Hi, and welcome in this
new amazing lesson. Today we will start our journey at the
discovery of Mi Journey. How works the interface. We will use Mi journey on the website because
it's faster, easier, and cleaner that creating
images with discard that was the first and unique mode we had earlier to interact with Mi Journeys Artificial
Intelligence. Now, the web interface is amazing and really
you will enjoy a lot understanding how you can get the most out of Mjourney. So without losing any more time, let's go on my computer
and see the web interface. Okay, so we are
inside Mi journey, and as you can see, every image is animated. Now Mjourney can create
incredible videos. And look here how
beautiful, how detailed, how crazy are the
video generation that already a lot
of users create. This is the first
place where you arrive when you do the login, that's the Explore tab, and here you will find image
and videos of the community. Here you will find
the best image, the most exciting something
crazy that people created. Yeah, really, you can find so many incredible inspiration. With this button, you can
randomize and see other images. Look how crazy are these. When you pass with
mouse over an image, you will see the name of
the user that create. With this button, you can copy the prompter we use
for the generation, and this you can start it and make it your
preferred image. That's the prompt bar and where you will
create your images. Here in the search, you can insert your
keywords and you will see just the image with the
keywords, per se, Ninja. How we see just Ninja images. The search is working
just for the image. Here, that's the main menu. You will find the create tab where you will be able
to create your images, the edit, where you will
be able to edit images, upload it inside M journey. So not only you can edit the image you
generate with M journey, but you can upload,
even images created outside and you want to edit
them inside my journey. Personalize is where you can personalize the style of your
generation inside Majurney, you can create mood
boards that are selection of images that
share some kind of style, and you can use that profile
personalizing your images. And we will see the next lesson, how it works, you can
turn this on and off. Rognize you will see all
the images generated inside Majurny you
have all the filters. You can filter for the
version of M Journey. I started creating images
with M journey VF. Actually, my very first image
was the 28, August of 2022, almost three years
ago and from here, we made some crazy advanced step in the generation of
image. That's it. That was very exciting, very illustration type of images you can
generate with Mjurne. Now you can really create some incredible realistic
and amazing images. Look at this. You really create any type of
image. That's crazy. Chat is a place where you
can interact with our user. You can see different
images generated by user. You can join the
different conversation. Think about this as a
source of inspiration. General Cos, these are the rooms with different
them subjects. You can really find
some crazy inspiration for your image. If you want to spend some time talking with people
and creating images. You have other chat
with different user. You can ask how
to create images, how to craft your
prompt, the better way. Daily team, newbies, you can ask for help if you don't know
how to create an image. Task is where you can do some kind of rankings
and surveys. This will be helpful to personalize your
experience with M journey. And of course, to get familiar
with images, help here, you can look at the documentation where you will find all the
information you need. You can ask the IAistan for help and there are a lot of
different guide tutorials. Really, you can find so
many resources here. Update is where you will find all the update from the company. Yeah, you can change
from dark to light mode. This is the user
settings where you will find the account
setting, the subscription, your uploads, with
journey magazine, and so many other information but let's start from the basics. Here, that's your prompt where you can
create your images. Let's just create an image
and then in the next lesson, I will show you how
you can leverage this interface to create

4. Lesson04 Images with MJV7 Part01: Hi, and welcome to
this crazy lesson. Today, we'll start to see how to create your images
with Mi Journey. We will see how whats the different subscription
plans, and of course, we will start using the
creation bar so you can start generating your first
images with Mi Journey. And I will give you some
crazy prompt to play with. So without losing any more time, let's go on my computer
and see how you can really start creating amazing
images with Mjourney. So we are inside Mi Journey and the first thing we
will have a look in this lesson is the subscription. Plan. As you can see, there are four different plans. The basic one that
is $10 a month, the standard plan
that's $30 a month and the pro plan that
is $60 per month. The difference is in the image you can generate
with Mid Journey. In the basic plan, you will be able to create
almost 200 images. You have the use of general commercial
terms so you can use your image for
commercial use you can create three fast
concurrent jobs and one concurrent
fast video job. Keep in mind that at the moment, the creation of four videos
of 5 seconds cost 8 minutes. In the basic plan,
you have 200 mines, so you will be able to
create almost 25 videos. With the standard plan, you have 15 hours of fat generation, so a lot more and you can create unlimited images in the mode. Relax mode consists into
passing the priority, so it will take a
little longer for you to have back the
images generated. But you can create limited images without
losing your fast minutes. In the pro plan, you have 30 hours and of course, you can create more jobs. You have limited video
generation tool. If you want to be serious
into creating videos, I suggest you to choose the pro plan because
with the relax mode, you can create unlimited videos. With the standard plan, you will be able to
create almost 120 videos. With the pro plan,
you will be able to create almost 250 videos. Of 5 seconds. Yeah, you have details
of your subscription, what you pay, when the plan
will renvew and so on. Let's see how work
the creation bar. Here, you can click
here to add an image. An image can be used
in different way. You can use as a starting
frame for your videos, you can use for image prompt, you can use for style reference
or for omni reference, and we will see the
difference in the result. From here, you can
upload any file or drop there or from
your generated image, you can drag and drop in the
place where you want to use. If you release the image here, if you drop the image here, you will have a described
function triggered. You will see the prompter
that can generate that image. This can be helpful if
you have an image and you don't know how to recreate
image, the prompter. You can just drop here and
you will see the prompter. From here, you can use this
to generate the other images. This is to use images. Here is where the magic happen, where you can write the prompt
to generate your image. Let's do some test. I have some basic prompt to
create some images with you. You can try this one too. Glowing jellyfish floating

generating your image. These are the settings. Here you can change all the
main aspect of your images. You can change the sides. And you can choose
from portrait, vertical, square or landscape, and you can adjust till you get the right resolution
for your image. Generally, you will
use square images for maybe Istagram or two, three, three, two is the
aspect ratio of photography. 916 is the aspect ratio for vertical images on social media or vertical video for TikTok. 16 by nine is the
aspect ratio of Cinema, and so on the one. If you want to create some kind of white
cinematic images, you can choose that kind
of aspect ratio and the aspect ratio change the way how the
image is rendered. So please choose carefully the right aspect ratio
and sizes for your image. Here, you can choose between
the standard or raw mode. Standard will use the
mid journey aesthetic. Ra will get you some images that we look more realistic,
more unprocessed. Like if you shot a photography and you don't
do the post production. Generally, this is
useful if you want to create more realistic images. Here, you can choose between all the different
model Image journey. Actually, the seven is
the latest model released and if you want to create some
anime manga style images, you can use Niji six is
the latest model released. Here you can adjust the aesthetic with these
three parameters. Stylization is how mi journey
influence the aesthetic. The highest number
that is 1,000, the more the
aesthetic that is at the base of training of M
journey will be applied. Basically, the
image will be more creative and less
linked to the prompt. A lower number will
help you achieve a more strict adherence of
the image to your prompt. Words introduce some quirky and strange
elements in your image, so you can create more unexpected or strange unpredictable results
for your image. Variety will rise the difference between the four
images generated. The more higher is the
variety parameter. The more will be different the images generated
with one prom. Let's do some test. We will use the
basic settings for Statics 100 and
weirdness variety zero. Here, you can change between
relax, fast and turbo. Fast is the standard mode. Relax is the one
where you create unlimited images with
a higher tier and Stelt is available
on your pro plan and other help you creating
images that are private. The other user will not see your images in the
feed in your profile. So you can hide if you want to use images
for your advertising, you can hide them if you
are on the highest tier. Here, you will find the prompt and you can use
text in this way. These are the tag that
are used in your images. 32 is the Asperatio V seven is the version profile
is the global profile. You can personalize adding
your personal profile code. These are the four image. Use text and here we
rise the variety. We will see four
different images. That's cows, the name
of the parameter. Let's again, we can lower this
and rise the stylization. As you can see here, the image and the style was
in all the four images. Here we have four
different images. As you can see, we
have two close up, one larger and one completely
different in style. This is with the
higher stylized value. As you can see, the image
are less realistic. Than the base one, they are more beautiful,
more artistic. Following the base
training of Mjourn. The higher you use the stylize, the more you will have the
Mjourn look in your images. Here, you can turn on and
off your personalization. And here you will have the different mood
boards you create. I I turn on this
now, same prompt, but the comic colors, we will have some
different look. These are comic color. For look, I choose very colored image
for superhero shots. Let's see the image.
We have some kind of colored teens and style
for the same prompt. Just change the result. Look how different could be an image just playing
with the parameter. Look, these are
completely different. When you click on image, you will have this interface with all the image
you generated. Here, here, you have all the different commands you can use and in the next lesson, we'll see how to use
this button to change the way you generate your image. Lastly, we can change
the way we interact with Mi journey using the draft mode that
create image faster, but with the draft quality, so a lesser quality and
conversational mode in which we can speak with M journey and directly interact with
Mjourney to generate image. I will show you how
amazing and crazy is this kind of way to interact with Mjoney to
generate your images. Let's try another prompter
just reset the parameter, change the aspect ratio,
916 and generate. I left the personalization on how I can uncheck
the cosmic color, use text, let's go. I can show you how different
is the result when you use some moodboard from where you
don't use that moodboard. Look, how crazy
are these images? Very bold bright color, and these are the stage rating. These are the ones

5. Lesson05 Images with MJV7 Part02: Hi, and welcome to this
new amazing lesson. In the previous one, you create your first
images with Mi journey. Now it's time to go deep into the generation of
image with Mi journey. And I will show you
the different mode you can use to create your images, the different way you can use and stylize your
images, and, of course, everything you can do
with the generated image to create your perfect
personalized masterpiece. So without losing any more time, let's go on my computer and
see you on the other side. Okay, so we are again
inside mid journey, and now we'll see
the different mode. First of all, let me
take a simple prompter, a boy reaching out to touch a
falling star in the desert. Let's see that everything
is at this place. Let's do some kind of T image. Let's go. This is the very basic generation
with me journey. We have generated our images. Now let's use the text, activate the draft
mode and submit. The draft mode,
it's a little bit faster than the normal mode. But the quality is less define the normal mode. Generally, you can use the draft mode to
work on your ideas. Then when you find an
image that you like, you can upscale it and
make it more beautiful. Now let's try the
conversational mode. Conversational mode
when you click here, it will start
recording your voice. You can start a voice
mode and I will show you how crazy is start. Now I want to create an image of a knight standing
alone in the rain. Okay, now upscale the second. A blurred castle with a
dragon in the background. Make it a manga anime style. This is really crazy. I love the way you can interact with your voice
with Mjoury and you can create almost any image just
speaking with your voice. I love the third, upscale it. Change the aspect ratio of
this image and make it 916. That's crazy. I
really love this. Be careful because it
will cost you a lot of fast minutes doing this, but it's so funny. I love this image. This one, two is crazy. Here, when you are inside
the single image use. Look how beautiful
is this crazy. You can do some
different actions. You can vary, so you can create different images of these with
two different declination. Sabor, we create four
different images close to this one,
change some details. Strong we create four images, based on this, but more
different let's try. Then you can remix so you can use this image add
a new prompt we are and this will generate
some images that are close to this but
somehow remix it. Then you can zoom the image with one point
fenix or two weeks. If you two weeks the image, it will shrink the image and generate the context
of your image. You can re run if
you want to run this prompter and generate
four different images. From this from this imprompt, you can edit and here
what you can do, you can use your brush to
change some part of the image. In this way, if I want
to add an arch here, I can just type here with
an arch on each back. Will generate four

out adding some context. This is the variation. These images are similar
to the original one, but they are a little

with Omni reference, you can create consistent
characters for your image, if you want to tell a story
or if you want to create a consistent visual across

character for your story, for your advertising,
for everything you need. When you need to keep the

playing with a bull. This is very useful because probably if you are starting
to play with me journey, you will not be able to describe this style to
create something similar. Using the f style, it will be very easy to
achieve that result. If I use this text and this ref, we will have

will ever find on M Journey. Yes. Now we can create videos. And in this lesson, I will really disclose all the secret, all the information
you need to know to start creating amazing
videos with M journey. This function was released
just a few days ago, so you will be among the
first who will learn how get the most of this new
incredible function. Without losing any more
time, let's go my computer. I've already created some
incredible visual and I want to guide you on how to create your videos with
Mjourney V seven. We are back in M journey
and today we see finally the amazing new
feature of creating video. Let's click. And
let's have a look at the video generated
by the other user. I really think that
the quality of the video that can be generated
in my journey is crazy. Considering that this is the first iteration
of the model, it just been released
a few hours ago, already, the results are crazy. Look at this. Look how beautiful and natural this looks like a real image, a real video. This one too. In general, generating video with AI achieves best result if
you start with an image. So generally, videos are
animation of an image, and in most of the case, even if you use Runway cling, lt, you use M journey to generate the image
to be animated. So having the possibility
to generate videos directly inside M journey is something that will change
completely the game. I want to show you some
video I generated, and of course, I will explain you how to achieve
the best results. Look at this. How crazy good is the movement
of this animal. This was the starting frame, the image I use to animate
this Look how this one. This is really crazy. I find these images and these
videos really mind blowing. Look how crazy is
this animation. Every animation we give you four different videos and
it will cost you 8 minutes. Play carefully with
the video generation because you will
end up finishing all your fast hours very
quickly unless you have the pro plan in which you can have a limited video
in relax mode. If you are interested in
generating video with Mouri, I suggest you to
value the $60 per month plan because it will allow you to create

a sci fi series. This is really mind blowing. I love this image. It's almost perfect.
Look at this. This is really crazy. Almost anyone is perfect. I really love all of them. Look at this. This look like a scene from Sirius, the rain or again, the last of us, crazy. Look up these yours. It's like a slow motion of this horse
galloping in the desert. Crazy. Look at the
cars, Lamborghini. The movement is almost perfect. All of the four videos were correctly generated
by Mid Journey. Look at these astronauts. Really, there are endless
possibilities. This is crazy. It looks so natural and it's animated image
generated with Mourney. That's crazy. Look at this. Is a series of images from an editorial I created with
Mjurney beauty editorial. Look at this. That's crazy. Okay. Let's see how to
create these amazing videos. If you go on your Organized tab, you will find all the image
generated with Majurn. From here, you can click
on any of the image, and here you will see there
is an animated image area with two different way
to animate your image on a Mi journey will find the right way to move the image and animate
automatically. You can choose between low
motion and high motion. Low motion, we create a video with a low
amount of motion, and of course, high
motion will create an image with high
amount of motion. In manual mode, you
will animate the image, adding the prompter
so you can direct how the motion will be
applied to the image. Let's try this. Let's try with low
motion and high motion. Then let's try with
manual, low motion a, as you can see, we have this
image as a starting point. Here, we can add the prompt and give information about
the camera movement. For example, we can add camera, zoom out and flip. We indicated that the camera should go backwards

videos with Mjourney. And this really can be helpful if you want
to create your story, if you want to
create your vision and share with the world. Mi journey is so
powerful and using this basic structure for
the prompt will transform completely your output
and you will be able to tell amazing stories with
videos inside me journey seven. Let's go on my computer,
fasten your seat belt because it will be a wild ride. In this lesson, I
will show you how to create sunning cinematic
photography with M journey that will be the perfect start for the
creation of your videos. How you can create your stunning images using
these simple structure, inematic and the type of
photography you want to use the subject and the action, location,
setting, lighting. What I just use, it's 16 by nine for the

8. Lesson08 Edit with CapCut Web: Hi, and welcome to this
new amazing lesson. Capcat is a powerful
tool that you can use to simply create stunning
video for your website, for your YouTube channel, or even for your social. I created two different
lesson on Capcat because I want to show you the two different interface
and of course, all the process to start with your clips and end
with your story. Without losing any more time,
let's go on my computer. I will show you the web
interface of Capcat and we will start
creating our first video. Okay, so we created our asset, our videos and images, and now it's time to edit. You have to go on Google
and look for C CAT. Capcat is the number
one editor for quick professional edit
with simple interface. When you create your
account on Capcat, you will be able to use the web editor on your mec or
on your iPhone smartphone. They all will be linked
into your account. Web interface is
very interesting. You can just click here, create new and from a, you can choose the format. In this case, we
will look for 916. That's the interface and
here, what you have to do, you have to upload the video
from the previous lesson, a that's the main interface where you will have the viewer, the timeline with
all your tools. Yeah, you have different models, elements to add audio, text, transcription,
eft, transition. Really, you have many
powerful tool to use. Basically, you can just add your videos one after

the elements in this way, you can scroll the timeline
with the space button. You can play the

to all the effects. As you can see, there are

between clips. You can trim the clip and choose where to
finish or where to start. Your clip just simply
drag and drops. You can use the button to
flip the image. Like this. You can add some edit, if you want to split the clip, you can just click
here and it will split the clip like this, you can edit and maybe
add some effects. Let's see if I can find

of the effect. As you can see, we added this sweetheart lumination effect and you can stack them to
create different effect. Okay maybe trimming a little bit this one or that one to just tap the Coca cola

9. Lesson09 Edit with CapCut Desktop: Hi. Hi and welcome to
this new exciting lesson. In the previous one, we saw how to use the web
interface of CAPCA. We have an overview of the
effects setting subtitles. Now I will show you how to use the desktop app that is way more comfortable can help you achieve better and
more complex results. This lesson, we will
see how to export your clip to share your video, your masterpiece, with the word. Without losing any more time, let's go my computer and see the Cupca desktop So
that's the interface. Here you have the main menu with all the buttons with different
functionality of Cupcat. This is the place where
we be shown your clips. That's the source where you will see what's
in your timeline. That's the timeline. You
can jag and drop your clip, or you can just click. We'll upload some video. I created with MjourneyP seven just to show you
how you can use the clip. So here, you can import your clip or you can
just click on Import. Audio, we show you the music, and you can look
for sound effects. You will find
everything you need to put the sound in your clip. Text, you will be able
to add some text. There are different style, there are different you
can generate with AI, but only with the
pro subscription, you can create automatically the subtitles for your videos. Sticker, you cannot
stickers effects, and here you will see all
the effect available, the one with the Violet
diamond or the pro, you have to have the
pro membership to them transition and organized
with different types, subtitles, filters,
and regulation. When you start creating, you can just drag and
drop your first clip here and it will
create your timeline. Here, you can change the
way the timeline work. You can make it 916, you can change the aspect ratio. Of course, you have to
adjust the clip to fill exactly your timeline like this if you want to
achieve the best result. Here you can change
sides, the position, the rotation, and there are many more functionality
available if you have a probe plan. You can remove the
background, can mask, you can add some variation
to make the skin, the face, the body precia you can adjust many parameters you
can smoothen the skin, you can whiten the
skin as you can see, a lot of fancy adjustment you
can add to your clip if you want to use to create
more particular effect. Here too, you can
just drag and drop. You can scroll, you
can add some edit. You can pip, you can invert, so you can go backwards. Like this. From here, you can add audio to
your clip like this. Of course, it will be
easier for you if you use a multi level timeline
with different audiosur, different effect,
different clip, the ayer will hide the lower. In this case, you will
see the first clip, then you will see
the higher level. If we add another
clip above this one, we will see the third one. You can adjust the opacity from here so you can make
it more transparent. You can change the
speed there and what is very cose
is that you can use a cool to do some cool
effect to the clip. In this case, we can slow ramp, slow to create some cool effect. Of course, you can
adjust them, edit, but this you can create a composite clip or a group one so that you will be able to
apply the effect to all the clip in one step or if you want to make some
adjustment for dimension, you can just at the

can easily add edits, effect, text, transition
between all your clips. You can use the

and position it so it will fill all the timeline. You can just copy
