1. Introduction: Hi students. Welcome
to my class. In this class, I will introduce
you to a few tools and softwares that
will be useful for Skillshare teachers and tubers. In my previous class about
cycles for beginners, where you can start cd zeal without any capital
or skill set. I told you that teaching in Skillshare could be a c
or it could be a carrier. I thought I will introduce a few tools or softwares that will help
you achieve the same. These tools and softwares
can also be used by tubers. They are very good. You will need all of
these softwares at some point if you
are interested in teaching on Skillshare
for a long time. Now, all these softwares are
beginner friendly and you don't need to be an expert
in commuters to use this. Soft like this are not
really hard to come by, but the advantage of these softwares are that
they are totally free. But that doesn't mean
that they are bad. They are just as good
as the paid softwares. You will see once you
start using them. Let's start with the class.
2. Screen recording: For screen recording purposes, you can either use Obvious
or FreeCA Either is good, but FreeCM offers more features and features in editing
the video and stuff. But I feel like Obvious gives a better video quality output. Okay. So anyway, I recommend free FreCAM allows you to
records D videos with. We can adjust the
video recording area as per your requirement. It also allows you to do
it video most amazingly. We can trim the video
adjust volume and cut out the noises and silence
portions of the video, just like that, you can
do it as per requirement. A with E and
straightforward options, no technicality, no
hards as symbol as that. This is the free cam website. It's called free
screen recording.com. If you are obvious, you can go to
obvious project.com. Like I said, you can
select the recording area. You can record your voice over record system sounds,
highlight your mouse. You can find tune your videos. Delete necessary part, polish audio remove
background noise. You can increase the volume
in certain parts if you want. You can raise the volume or
you can decrease the volume. These are the main features. Let me just show
you how it works. Click on new recording. Select the portion here. And just click here,
turn on the mic. Click on the record better. Okay. You can do your staff and press
escape when you're done. Now, this is a recording. Let's click on D button. Okay. Now, let's
trim some portion. You can remove this area
by clicking delete. Now, see this portion. You can see the audio here. You can silence
this portion here, and you can adjust volume. You can increase the volume or decrease or you
can remove it. You can oom for better
selection of audio or video, can trim the video. S. Okay. That's about it. You can also remove
background noises. This select some portion. We are doing this so
we can figure out which one the noises are. So we can remove it from
our video completely. Now, click on S and close
when you're done editing. Click on SBS video
and you're done. Now for recording
this free software, I'm using OBS Studio. Let's check out
the next software.
3. Video editing: Now the next one is the
most important one. You are really going
to need this for sure. The next one is we do anything. For this one, I highly
recommend diving the resolve. It's not just recommended by me, it is also recommended
by Skillshare. Skillshare helps in there. Skillshare recommends
it and easy to use video editing software. It's also available
in Mac and PC. Now with diving resolve, the basics are quite easy. You can figure it
out at first glance. You can easily edit trim
and come in videos. You can figure out the basics
quickly. Let me show you. Now, once damage is
always has opened, you can add videos here. You can just drag the
videos to the media pool. Now you can just drag
and drop the videos here. And we can edit it. It's simple actually, you
can just select the mover here and just press on this trim button to
cut the video here. You can remove this portion by selecting this here and just
clicking the delete better. Just like that as
simple as that. C. These are just the basics and you can play with it and you can
get creative with it. You can also learn more about diving on skillshare.com itself. Skillshare has a lot of
classes about diving. I suggest you get into
those classes if you want to learn more
or you can just figure out the
basics by yourself. Let's move on to the
next software. Okay.
4. Presentation: If your class is a presentation style class or you're going to need something for
presentation purposes, you need a software like
microsoft PowerPoint. But the issue is that
PowerPoint is a paid software. In that case, your alternatives are va.com or Google slides. Now, both are pretty good, but my favorite is va. You can either use
Canva or Google slides. That is totally up to If you
want it symbol and fast, you can try Google slides. If you want your
presentation to stand out, or you need a little
splash of fins. If you know what I mean,
you can use Canva. Now, I just love va. The possibilities are
totally endless with a. If we get creative, you can go totally
crazy with it. We'll be amazed to see but
you can create with Canva. Now, these are the
presentation templates on Caro It is less, and you can select one that goes with your topic of presentation. Select any one. You can now select customize
this template. You can start from
scratch as well. You can create a
template from scratch. You can edit this
however you want. You can edit the colors. You can make changes
in the elements here. Okay. S. It is as
simple as that. It is totally easy and it is actually very
fun to do as well. You can also add elements
to your presentation here. You can download
it here or you can present it from and Co itself. Let me show you why you need mad I made a presentation
for just that purpose. Okay. Okay. Va va is easy to use, but it may be time consuming
CmaediveGogle sites, but it is totally worth it. You're not going to
degrade using va. Now, like I said, the
possibilities are limitless. I've also said, it is more fun and more appealing
come google sites. Google slides feels
it's not fun. It feels like doing job
or doing your work. Canva more fun Cmared to that. Okay. Google slides
is easy to do. Less time consuming
come to va. That's it. It is pretty easy to whip
up with Google slides. You can just add two slides to the same theme and add text. It's very easy, but it's
not as appealing as Canva. Let's mot with
next source. Okay.
5. Stock videos: You may need stop videos for your class for
filling in the gams or creating introduction
videos or promo videos inting. But there's a problem. You can only use videos that
you have the right use. You cannot just add a Tu video for Skillshare or
any other purpose. You can find good stock videos with high qualities
in these two website, pexels.com and cover CEO. Both are good but
in my experience, cover has a bigger collection. Let me show you This is cover CO. You can just
search something here like These are
Shutter stock videos. We'll have to pay for
this. You can just go under free stock
videos and select one. Free download. The download has started. You are easily downloading
high quality stock video. There's a huge
collection in here. You can just sell what you want. Now, let's check out pexels.com. The same G Pexels mainly
focuses on stock photos. Videos are also available. In pexels.com, you can download according to the
resolution you require. You can just select
the resolution you want and you can
applic free download. Now, both of them
are equally good, but I think cover has a bigger collection
of stock videos.
6. Video Conversion: Now, if you have the need
to convert your videos, you can use any video converter. Just to be clear,
any video converter is the name of the converter. Okay. Now, the main disadvantage of free video converters, is that the quality may drop significantly
after conversion. You don't need to worry
about that in this case. Other than that there is
nothing special about this works just like any other video converters.
Let me show you. You can add or track
the video here. Select the video profile here, you can just click convert also quite faster than
other video converters. You can make changes
here if you want. Resolution, medio
quality, audio quality, extra. So let's man.
