1. Introduction : Hello, I'm Oliver. I'm an interior design professional who specializes in 3D illustrations. He's a variety of 3D modeling software for my designs. But hazel eyes catch up the most because of how fast and efficient is for creating 3D models. In our previous class, we look at SketchUp interface and some of the key concepts in modelling. We learned how to organize our drawing with layers. And we also learned the importance of groups and components in SketchUp is part two of my SketchUp for interior design class, we will dive deeper into the model increments. We will review at how you can create and save your seeds. We will be modeling or components to create doors, windows, and building networks. Then of this course, you should have basic to intermediate skills in SketchUp. You will be able to create three-dimensional spaces from scratch for a class project. Follow along the demonstrations to further develop and add more details into your interior model. For those who took up my first class, you can use your safe SketchUp file for the project. Alternatively, I've uploaded a file that you can use to follow along. I strongly encourage you to build up your model as we will be adding the final touches in our scene when our last class in preparation for exporting our 3D model. Let's get started. 2. Creating arch openings: Let's create openings in the exterior walls for a windows. If I turn on the wireframe view, you will see that my windows are identical. Therefore, we can make one profile of the opening and just make multiple copies of it. First, let's turn off the interior walls layer. Then I'll use a tape measure to create guides from a window heights. See 36 inches for the seal. And I'll make another one at 60 inches for the top of the window. I'll draw a rectangle and snap it to the kites. Double-click and make it a group. Go to wireframe view and move this edge along the x axis and snap it the one end of the window. As are the same thing for this edge. Next, I'll create another guide told interests from the top. I will be using this as a reference for my art profile window. To point our command. Then the group itself will also have toned layer results. Just click once on the group and change it for your ceiling. Let's double check that the shapes inside are still incorrect layer. 4. Adding scenes: Let's look at the tools associated with the camera command. Before we can place a camera, you need to remove this m. We can of course, turn-off preceding layer. There may be times where you will have two or more objects in the same ceiling. Which means if you turned off sealing layer, all the objects within it will be turned off as well. When you then update your scene. 5. Placing components: So as three dimensional furniture in SketchUp, components into default tree. Select components sampler, and choose from the list below. Next, use Offset tool to add more detail along the edges of this top. And move these edges so I can multiply two face later on. So I'm just going to push the fees slightly forward. Now. I'll have to do this on the other side too. But instead of doing that, we will make this component. So we only need to add this one side. First.
