1. Introduction: I like to welcome you in
this very short class right here in which
in just 10 minutes, we're going to be discussing
how you turn your passions into profit through
online course creation, through packing
them into courses. More specifically,
we're going to be analyzing the framework
on how you can create launch and scale your online course
in just seven days. And again, all of the information
and all the framework is going to be shown in this
quick class right here. So thank you very much for
being here, seeing the lesson.
2. Creating - Launching and Scaling Principles: The past three years, I've brainstormed shot,
edited, aloaded, and launched more
than 22 courses by myself and generated more than $33,000 from this small
bedroom of mine right here, without spending a single
dime, by the way, in ads, without having any followers, I just started with a camera and something to teach, right? And I'm sharing all of the
knowledge that I've gained. Those three years without obviously the mistakes that I've done right in this
video right here. So in this video,
we're going through the whole process on
how you can brainstorm, create, launch and scale
your online course. And again, seven days, right? Because all of the information that I'm going to be giving you, it's going to be self based. So if you work hard, you
will be able to achieve and actually aplod
your first course in the next seven days. Right? I'm very happy
to have you here. Let's go through the exact process that you need to follow, the step by step process
that you need to follow in order to achieve this. So first of all, Regarding
the course creation process, one thing you need to know is that what a course really is, it's just ten imagine
ten YouTube videos, right, condensed and packed
as a digital product. That's all pretty much what's
going on with courses. It's just YouTube videos, Valuable, of course,
not YouTube videos, but in the same format
as YouTube videos, valuable informational
content packed and distributed as courses. This is what an online
course is, right? So the first step into creating a
successful online course, as you can see here is research. You need to understand what
is your passion, right? What are you passionate about? Because at the end of the day, you're gonna be
talking about this, and you're going to
be teaching this. So you might as well choose
something that you're passionate about and
you love teaching. In my case, this
was videography, this was camera,
this was lenses, video editing, all that stuff. I really, really like the stuff. So this is what I tought three years ago when I started out this course creation
journey of mine. Once you figure out
what your passion is, and the best way by
the way to figure out what your passion
is is to imagine when do you enter the flow state the most,
when you're doing what? So this activity
that helps you enter the flow state, which is
the state, if you will, that you're working
so hard that time, that this thing of
time evaporates and you just so focused and you
love what you're doing. This is the flow
state. So usually whenever you enter
the flow state, this is usually your calling or your passion, if you will. Right? Once you identify
what your passion is, what you love teaching, or what you would like
to teach at least, you need to understand also that are in the course creation niche in the course
creation field, there are some
topics that are more hot than others that
are of high demand. Because at the end of the
day with our courses, we're infiltrating markets, and we're helping people solve problems with the information
that we've got, right? So obviously, there
are bigger problems, and there are smaller problems, there are more hot
problems and of course, problems that are of
not that high demand. Right? So you need to understand what are some hot topics. You're very lucky at this point. This is something that I
didn't know back in the day, but big online course market
places such as Skillshare, you might have heard of
Skillshare and Utmy. Those are platforms,
if you will, that allow you to upload your course there
completely for free. And we're going to be
talking about those platforms later
on in this video, they actually release their
in demand course topics. So they literally tell you right what courses they
want you to create. And this is absolutely amazing, because if you manage to
pair a whole topic on Skillshare and tomy with something that you're
passionate about, you have the recipe to find huge success in this online
course creation Niche. Now, keep in mind
that this information that I'm sharing with you
in this video right here, it's just one of the
things that I share clients that I work on a
11 basis that I coach on a 11 basis to achieve the
exact same results that I have done through grading courses again and monetizing
their passions. If you're interested
in this, you can check out the first
lining description, I have more
information there more testimonials of my
previous clients. So you're very welcome to
check this out, right? So regarding research,
what you want to be doing again is to combine something that your
passor is about, and something that you
love teaching with again, hot topics from
Skillshare and Utam. You can find by
the way the links for Skillshare and
Utam hot topics, the pages that they suggest or the hot topics in the description of this
video in the first. Then we're moving to
the creation process. So once you know exactly
again, what you love teaching, and what it's hot
on skills and tomy, it is time to create a course. So the first thing you can do is that you will
outline, if you will, for your first course I
always suggest people to outline a ten lesson
course again, in which every lesson is
ten to 15 minutes long. This is the best
way for you to not get overwhelmed by having
millions and millions of lessons in the course and millions of modules and so
much information. It's easy. It's going to the duration of this course right
here of a ten lesson, ten to 15 minutes again,
each lesson course. It's going to be about an hour, which is perfect, right and
it's going to sell, right? So after you've outlined
the course, for example, if you're teaching
video editing, the first lesson is going to be an overview of the
video editing software. Then you're going to
move in the tools. Then you're going to
move into how to import and export clips, right? Then you're going to
move into creating, if, again, the course as you The course that you decided
to create isn't something that needs to be screen
recorded, for example, again, a video editing course or a coding course or 100 design
fum nails on Canva course. If you don't need to
screen record your course, and your course is a bit
more theoretical, right? For example, an
entrepreneurship course or a course on which lenses are
more value for money, right? I highly suggest you to create actually PowerPoint
presentation to visualize your points and give to your students a visual representation of what
you're talking about. So go ahead and create one powerpoint presentation
for each one of your lessons. And later on, when you're going to be creating
those lessons, you're going to be
screen recording this PowerPoint presentation
and going through the sides. This way, this power
presentation will also act as a script
for the course, so you don't need to script
every single lesson and waste a huge amount of time on scripting every lesson
of a two hour course, for example, what's
going to be a nightmare. Right? So this is how you're going to be creating a course. Again, outlining a
ten lesson course in which every lesson
is ten to 15 minutes. Then you're going to be creating a PowerPoint
presentation, if you will for each lesson. If your course is
more theoretical. Again, I tend to
create powerpoint presentations for my courses. This has worked perfectly
for me in the past. And then You're also going
to be shooting and editing an introductory video
for the course, right? And what an introductory video really is is just imagining small commercial in
which you just go through what's going to be
happening inside the course, the value that the viewers and the students are going to be
getting from your lessons, and you're pretty much
selling the course, if you will for people
to enroll in it. This is going to be
the video that people and students when we aplod the courses in online
course marketplaces are going to be seeing
before they enroll. So before they
purchase the course, they're going to be seeing
this introductory video. So you're also going to
shoot an introductory video. By the way, more information on every single step
of the process can be found in this channel
right here that you stamp across
completely for free. So how to shoot
introductory videos, how to create power
presentations, how to outline your
course lessons to have videos, 10 minutes, 15 minute videos of all of this process right here
in this channel right here. Again, you're welcome
to check them out. Then after the creation process, we're moving into the
uploading process. So by this point, you have
researched your course. You have created ten lessons that are ten to 15
minutes long each. Right and now we're ready
to upload our course. Where do we upload our course is one of the most common
questions that I get. And one of the biggest problems
that people have one of the biggest limiting beliefs
that they have is that they think that they should upload their course on
their own website. They should host their course in their own on their own website, right and sell from their
website. And this is wrong. I never suggest
this for beginners. Why? Because you're
going to be paying 100, 200 bucks a month
every single month to host this course on your website without
even knowing if there's demand for
the scores, right? And you don't even know how to populate your website
without paying for ads, which's going to be just a
logistical nightmare and a huge expense for your
online course business. And it's the dumbest
thing for me to start just wasting money on ads, wasting money on your website, before even making a single
die from your course. Before even testing if this course is going
to sell or not. Right? So what are we
going to be doing? And what I have
mastered and what I teach on my one
on one program, I were going to be
uploading our courses on online course marketplaces, such as Udemy again,
Skillshare, course era. And again, big platforms
that already have an ecosystem building them of students that want
to learn, right? But they're looking for
courses to be uploaded there. They're looking for
teachers like me, like you to upload
their courses there and saturate this field, right? Because it's very,
very unsaturated. You enjoyed this
small introduction in the course creation process, I invite you to check out the full course creation
master class that I have uploaded in my profile
right here on Skillshare. Now inside this course
creation master class, you will find more than
