1. Introduction: Project management is not easy. It could be quite stressful and heckic, especially if you have no idea what you're doing in the first place, or you are new to the field of project management. As an experienced and veteran project manager, where I've run projects worth millions upon millions across various industries, spending from construction, oil and gas, energy, academics, e learning, online and offline, and let me tell you something. Are many things which they have in common when it comes to project management. All of them, they either tend to succeed or fail simply based on the sake of planning. Poor planning has catastrophic effects on the success rate of your project. Luckily, in this current world, in this current market, and this current industry, we are able to utilize the power of artificial intelligence to make the lives of project managers quite easier. I'm not going to say easy, but easier compared to the normal approach. Running projects. In this current class, I'm going to teach you how to utilize artificial intelligence at CAD GPT specifically, in order to help you plan for your project. We regardless of the project, the key tactics, I'm going to teach you will help you as a project manager utilize the power of artificial intelligence in order to clearly lay out the steps crucial steps, milestones that you need to have in order to successfully complete your project from AT Z. And I'm going to be sharing with you a free tool just simply to help you get up and running with prompt engineering, if you have no idea how to use prompts. You can use that tool to help you get the prompts that you can inject them into Chad GPT, to help you get the job done. All of these things we're going to be covering in this current class, which is truly essential to project managers, whether experienced or aspiring because trust me, it will make your life a lot easier. 2. Your Project: Your project for the current class revolves around creating your own projects plan based on the key lessons that we have covered in this current class, in which you are going to use Ca GPT to come up with a plan for your own project covering the key steps from A to Z in order to ensure the successful completion of a project, after which you're going to be sharing it with the rest of the community for feedback. 3. Setting Up ChatGpt for Powerful Results: With the first thing that we need to do is to actually prime Chad GPT. What does the word priming mean? It means to actually make it act as if it's a certain professional. How does that work? We're going to say, act as a professional projects manager just like myself, and get ready to help me plan a project in terms of the steps needed to complete the project. Now, you could use the same prompt as well for your own project, but this is the primary stage where we actually have Chad GPT prepare itself for us. How does this work? First of all, let's take a look at this. Absolutely, I'll be happy to help you with that. To get started, give me some details about your planning. This is very powerful. It tells you some details that it needs to help you with the project. What is the scope of the project? Timeline, budget, resources, stakeholders, constraints, and risk. That way, it's able to actually outline a detailed plan. This is very powerful when you are starting with a project with CAD GPT. Make sure that you prime then just simply dive in. Why? Because as we are going to see, when you are communicating with Chad GPT and you build up from the beginning and use the memory and artificial intelligence, it will fine tune the responses to actually provide you with a solid plan from ATC rather than just simply getting random prompts. So this is very crucial. Properly start by priming Chad GPT. This is a very applicable basic prompt that you could use to help you make Chad GPT behaves as if it's a projects manager. And then it will tailor the response to provide you with an output that aligns with your own project. 4. Adding Your Project to the Blend: Going to go with a hypothetical project, let's say, building a website. The project is about building a website, which is about ten pages long, and I need to finish the project within a week. So this is a basic prompt. I'm going to pass it on to Cha GPT, in order to give me the actual steps to properly kick off my project. And obviously, as an experienced projects manager, I need to have an eye on the details. Let's take a look at this. First of all, Building a ten page website in a week is an ambitious but achievable goal. It gives you some actual real life inspiration how to view the project. Now, let's take a look at the tasks. First of all, let's define the project scope and objectives. We have the objective, we need the content. We need to go about the design. These are the initial stages, the planning and the preparation, day one, kickoff meeting, content gathering, design mockups, then the third stage, which is design and development. Then we go for day two, Day three, day four, Day five. Excellent. So I can see that based on the feedback that I've gotten from Chad GPT, the way it broke it down, it actually gave me the first milestone, number one, then the second one, then the third one, Then we go about the fourth milestone or stage, then the post lunch. And then it gave me some tips how to go about successfully completing my project, right? Now, however, as a professional projects manager, you tend to notice that you have the breakdown of the days, like with day one planning, day two, day three, day four, day five, day six, day seven, which makes sense since they are placed within the general headline of the milestone, but I needed to look in a more professional way, which makes it quite easy for me to actually track the plan in a more professional fashion. 5. Getting Our Project Plan Up and Ready: Order to achieve that goal, what I'm going to do, so far, the feedback from Chad GPT is quite satisfactory, but as a professional project manager, we need to be professional. What I'm going to tell Chad GPT right now, I want you to represent the plan in the form of a table. Clearly showing or reflecting the key milestones and steps as well as the timeline for each step. This is very powerful. It's an advanced level prompt. And that way, you are able to actually compile everything and see it in a more effective fashion. You can just simply use it as is for your own purposes. Now let's take a look at this. This is way more refined. So first of all, it gave me the days, the one, two, three, four, five, six, and seven, and this is basically the duration of my project for one week. I do have the milestones clearly displayed for me as part of the planning, design and development, and the steps for every single one of them, and the timeline for every single one of them. That way, you could just simply copy paste this on an Excel sheet or print it out, and here you go. You're good to go. You're able to break down your project into a specific timeline, having a clear plan with clear milestones and clear steps. Now, in addition, you do have what we call a some briefing. For every single day, the things that you need to focus on, that way you're not deviating from your project. This is very powerful. This is like an assistant of mine. We're just simply able to compile the basic plan of a project with a couple of clicks. 6. Wrapping Up: So, what do you think? I truly hope that you found it quite helpful. Like I mentioned, as an experienced projects manager with over a decade of expertise in the field. Let me tell you something. It really helped me out. It really helped simplify a lot of tasks which are quite mundane and time consuming. And it gives you that support in order to refine some results and provide that computerized iterative approach to project management. By all means, I look forward to receiving your feedback and make sure that you follow my profile for the latest releases and updates, and I'll see you in the next class.
