So let's get started and turn your ideas beautifully designed multi page creations using Canva. Oh 2. Setting Up Canva Account: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can set up your new Canva account. To set up the Canva account, I visit the website, can just go to Google and type Canva, or you can directly go to the address bar and type canva.com. Now, I choose this Canva, this is the official website and do not try to check with any other website. You can see that shows you canva.com. This is the website, and here I'm going to choose this login if I have the account. If you are going to get the very first account for Canva, you can go for signup before that, you can see we have different plan for Canva account. I choose plan, and you can see we have option which is comparing prices, proteins and other things. I click here, comparing prices and you can see if you want to open a Canva account, it's absolutely free. Can open it and you can utilize this for your own personal purpose. There is no need to pay any cost for that. You can utilize throughout the year this particular account. But if you need to access the pro elements, you need to access all the elements which is available in a Canva, you need to go for this Canva Pro account, which is costing 4,000 rupees per year. So this is with Indian rubes. So based on that region you have, it would show you the cost of that plan. So this will provide you access around all the data which is available from this Canva website. And you can see that it shows you two options here, one month and 12 months. 12 month means, yes, one year. And you can also access the Canva through Canva teams. So that cost the same amount. And for enterprise, if you want to access multiple accounts, you can go for this and you will get that features. Now, Canva provide two options here. At the top, you can see that it shows you individual and teams. And here it shows you education. So for individual or team, we have these things. Either you can maintain your free account with five GP storage, or you can go for P account. Now I choose education. So if you're a teacher, you can access this Canva for complete free of cost. You can see that you don't need to pay even single penny. You can access all the pro features, what those pro users utilizing with Canva. All those are available for you also. So you can utilize this account effective way if you are teaching up to plus two level or K 12 education level. So that's the best thing. You can utilize it. And if you are working with the school and administration and other management part, you can also go for these schools and districts. So you can utilize it effectively and be best thing for you. Then you to have Canva for campers and you can order for bulk account, and if you want, you can go for that. Now as a teacher, I have my Canva account for this teacher account. I got verified through this document verification process, and they provided me that teacher account for 100% free of cost. Now, I go to the sign up here and I'm going to choose my email ID. We can directly choose our Google Mail or any other email ID, and you can just provide the basic details and sign up with canva.com. After signing up, you will get your home screen, which looks exactly like this, sometimes if they bring some updations on user interface or the functions, the user interface may be a little bit different from this appearance. This is how you sign up with your new account in canva.com. 3. Exploring Canva Dashboard and Interface: I in this lesson, I'm going to show you the user interface of canva.com. This is the homepage. Whenever you sign up or sign in with Canva account, you'll have this screen at first. On this homepage, you can see, we have the work area here and on left hand side, you have a menu and more accessible buttons. Now I choose Meno when I choose Menu it shows you that I already have the account. It shows my project folders and recent designs all on this menu. It also shows you the creation of new document with this icon. So apart from this, I don't have anything here. You can see only dash we have. So I just click this closed meno again. And at the bottom, you can see we have a lot of icons, which is highly essential when you work with canva.com. Now, I choose this create. So when I choose this create, I can create all kind of new documents Canva. See that it shows you all kind of, you know, the works, possible works you can do with Canva. So if you want, you can go for that. And we have home screen. You can see that if I went somewhere else I choose Projects folder, it shows you all your folders that projects, which is done through the Canva. And if you want to come back to the home screen, you can simply click here which is home. So it'll be on a home screen. And you have the templates which shows all kind of templates available with Canva with different categories. It shows you the brand option. You can set your own brand values data using Canva. You have the Canva AI feature to do artificial intelligence works to generate images, generate the content. All those things we'll see in our upcoming lessons. It shows you the apps, which is addens with the Canva and you can work and interconnect with the apps to create different design works. You have notification button and you have the account settings. When you want to go for account settings, you can use that. These are the buttons available with left hand side on Navigation Bar. After this, I choose the home screen on navigation bar. You have the work area here. In this work area, you have a banner area. At anytime if you want to upgrade your normal account into Pro account, you can go for this button at the center of this header, you can see the banner area. Shows you three options here, your design, your templates, and Canva AI. If you want to create a new design from the template, you can directly type here. You can mention the keywords, and it will bring a lot of templates for you. Or if you want to open your existing design, you can go for UWor designs and you can give a keyword and you'll get that. If you want to generate anything through Canva AI, you can go for this Canva AI. You can provide the details here and it will generate the AI design or whatever you require through AI. These are the things available on this banner itself from the header. After this the banner area, in this header, you can see we have different buttons here to create new various documents. It starts with the logo and it shows you the educational content creation, and it shows you know sheets, Canvas sheets, like how do we have the Google Sheets, Canva docs, like how do we have Google Docs? And we have whiteboard and presentation, social media, photo editor. All those are quick links to access a lot of, you know, new designs with Canva. And if you want more, you can go for this more also. You can access that, you know, new document creation button. Apart from this, it shows you the recent new features added with Canva here or recent templates added with Canva. You can also utilize and, you know, create your designs if you want. Apart from that, since I was already using this icon, it shows you the recent designs which you have done through the Canva. So all those things are the recent designs, which is created with the Canva. So this is how you have the user interface of Canva. You can create designs and do all the image documentation and other design document manipulation works through this user interface only. 4. Explore Canva Templates: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can explore the templates available with Canva. To access the templates in Canva, on home page, I choose this templates button. After choosing the template, we can mention what kind of templates you required. It shows you the pre added templates here and going to give you the name of that. For example, I'm going to choose the keyword which is poster when I choose poster, I have not added any other keyword, was used only one keyword. It shows you the various kind of posters available with Canva. All templates are available for that. For example, here it shows you the poster A four and infographics, poster A three, poster landscape, all those things are possible templates available with Canva. I'm going to choose this poster A four. When I choose poster A four, it shows you a lot of templates which is available with the poster format in Canva. It was millions of templates and you can scroll down, it will keep on show you a lot of template designs. When you look at those template designs, few templates have small crown like appearance on the bottom right hand side of the template, you can see that, that indicates those templates are accessible for only pro users, not for free users. Need to worry about that because for free account itself, you have a lot of templates. You can utilize all those templates for day to day life. If you want, you can go for pro account, otherwise, you can continue and do all the works with the free account itself. Throughout this course, I'm going to use only this free account for teaching all the lessons. If it requires in the pro account, that lesson alone, I will teach you with the pro features, or I will show you on both free and account also. So don't need to worry about the account, whether it is free or pro, it doesn't matter. So you just want to create the designs. A free account itself is enough. After choosing that poster A four, you can see we have the result here. Now, again, I just delete that A four and I'm going to choose this poster landscape. So when I choose poster landscape, it will load lot of poster designs. You can see that. Apart from landscape designs, it shows you the square and vertical designs also. But most of the designs will be displayed with a landscape design only. So this is how you can simply navigate the templates which is available with Canva. After you added the keyboard, I just used the poster keyboard. I didn't add anything like A four or a three. You can see we have very beautiful templates available with Canva. You can directly access, modify and utilize for creating vibrant designs. Apart from this keyword, at the bottom, you can see, it shows you the category. You can choose what category work you need. Here it shows biodefault all categories. I can choose either poster here so that you can exactly display only posters instead of showing all the designs. Apart from that, it shows you the option which is style, and I choose the style here and it shows you all different categories styles available with Canva. Like, it shows you the modern. When I choose modern, it shows you only the design which is having the modern look, and I'm going to choose another time. Going to choose the illustrative. So based on the illustrative design keyword template, it shows you all those things in illustration form. You can see that there is no model on those poster designs because I always preferred the illustrative category. That's why I don't have any models there. Now, after that, I'm going to choose this, you know, border. It will show you different border based design with poster. Let's choose vintage. I will give you the vintage poster designs, and I'm choosing colorful. I will load lot of colorful, poster designs here and I can choose minimalistic watercolor. All those things are the different styles you can utilize if you want. I use modern so that I can access the 20 poster designs through Canva. This is how we access and use the Canva, different templates, including poster for all the designs we have a templates. Not only for post, for example, I'm going to give details greeting card. I choose that it shows you a lot of greeting card templates out there. In the same way, you can load anything. I'm going to choose resume. So it will just press Enter and it will load a lot of resume templates for you. A are vibrant. You can see that all are beautifully aligned in a professional manner. This is how we use and access and navigate Canva templates using canva.com. 5. New Design Setup in Canva: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can set up or create new document design using Canva. We have multiple ways to do that. Let me show you one by one. I'm going to start with templates. So first, I go to the templates, and here, I'm going to add a keyword, which is flyer. And press Enter. When I press Enter after provided that keyword shows a lot of templates here. But before it shows you the lot of templates, at first, you can see that it shows you the option which is create blank. Whenever you provide that particular category, template name here and search, it shows you the Create blank. Here itself, you can create the new blank flare design. I click here by choosing this create blank. It will open a new tab. You can see that it opened the new tab and it shows you the blank player design. So after open this flare design, it shows you the list of templates available with Canva on left hand side. So this is one way. You can just directly go to this template. You can give a keyword, and there if you have the template, you can access that. Or if you want to create a new document, you can use this create plank. This is first way. Let me show you the second way. I go to the home here. On the banner area itself, it shows you the option which is custom size. You can see that it shows you the option custom size. I click here. When I click here, you will access this area, which is creative design. Here you can mention what category work you are doing. For example, on left hand side, I choose printable. When I choose printable, it shows you all the category print design templates available with the Canva. It shows you the dimensions at the top. You can see it shows you the mockup of that design. You can choose it or you can just go to the top and you can just type the keyword which is flyer. I was using this name because I just want to access the flyer designs. So here it shows you a lot of, you know, different templates available with Canva. It shows you flyer in landscape, flyer in portrait, to shows you the Facebook post, template dimensions also. So this is another way you can access, and you can just click here to create a new Dobat. You can see that the same way we created using the template category, it created a new document. Come to the Kana homepage again. The third way you can create directly, you don't need to go anywhere. You can simply come to this left hand navigation bar. You can choose Create. And from there itself, you can access, create a design. You can choose what you want and you can create a new document design. So these are the three different ways you can create new document designs. So here, it loads the different categories. You can see that. It shows you the landscape portrait, and apart from that, it shows you advertising flyer, business flyer, even flyer, birday, Christmas, all our different category events, but it shows you the flyer templates only, which means the flyer document dimension only. See that the dimension is the same. I can see the landscape, the flyer dimension is the same one. There is no change with that. Only that styles will be displayed when you open that blank document will be different. So these are the different ways you can create a new document, and you can start to do your designs using Canva. 6. Custom Size Document Creation: I in this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can create the custom size document in Canva. In our previous lesson, I shows you how we can create a new document using camera with the different places, and here I'm going to give a detailed information about how we can customize the dimension of the design. To do that, I can either use method or I can use the banner area here using custom size, or I can choose create this itself, it shows you the option at the bottom, which is custom size. I can choose that. When you choose anything, you will get this window. You can see here. Here I choose a custom size and you access the same page on this creative design. Most important thing with this custom size is we know the exact dimension, you are going to use the dimension here, not that particular template category. First thing you need to do is you have to choose the custom size, of course, we did it. After that, you have to come to the units. Here, you need to choose the exact units. For example, if I'm going to do photo editing based work, I choose inches and I'm going to mention whether it's six by four or that uh 12 by eight. So all those things are based on that units only I'm going to do. Otherwise, it will show you the error. And if I'm going to prepare a business card, I'm going to choose the millimeter, and we can see what was the different dimensions we have here. So after choosing the millimeter, I'm going to choose that 92 and 54. So this is how I was choosing those dimensions. Don't forget that first, you have to choose the unit. Then only you need to do the dimension adjustment. If you do something wrong, I'm going to choose, I'm going to add eight into ten. You can see that it shows you the error. So if you think you can set the dimensions first and you can change the units next means, that's not the proper way. It will warn you and it will show you the error. So do not try in that way, you can see. I want the 28 inch width, but when I choose the different unit, it changed the dimensions. First, you have to choose the units only, then you can mention what will be the dimension here. So that was a proper way. Don't forget that. Now, I just want to mention a particular dimension for my flyer. Just imagine I'm going to create a poster. So I'm going to mention the width into 13 inch and the height into 18 inch. Okay, 19 inch. So this will be my default poster design. It was slightly above the A three dimension. So after choosing that, you know, the units, and I was mentioned that measurements in width and height, now I choose Create new design. So after choosing the units, you are going to add, you know, width and height, and you're going to choose create new and you'll get the exact dimension what you require. Make sure whether you have after the right dimension or not, you can see the name here. It shows you untitled design, and it shows you that dimension of the particular design. But when I give a name for that, I'm going to choose the name here just posted. You cannot see the dimension here. But you can go to the file menu, you can see, I go to the file here, and I file menu, it always shows you the name of the document and the user name and the dimension. You don't need to worry about the document name. Come to the file menu and here at anytime you can see what was the exact dimension and the units available with that dimension. This is how you create the custom size document, whatever the dimension you can create without OEs. But first thing you have to say the units, then you need to change the width and height. This is how we create custom dimension document designs using Canva. 7. Using Rulers and Guides in Canva: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can use rulers and guides in Canva document. Those rulers and guides are most important when you do graphic design work with proper alignment. Let me show you how we can use that. To use those things, first, I have to create a new document. Yes, I was using the new document which I was created in our last lesson. Go to the file menu. After choosing the file menu, you can see we don't have any page setup or page dimension, something like that. We don't have anything like that. You just go the settings here. In settings, it shows you the options which is required for this particular lesson. At first, it shows you the option which show rulers and guides. You can see the shortcut key shift, I just click here, Show Rulers and guides. When I click here, you can see that at the top, it shows you the rulers and on left hand side, it shows you the rollers. The top routers represents the X axis, the dimension of the document, and this one on left hand side represents the Oxis dimension of the document. You can see that I just scroll it and you can see that carefully. This is the starting point for each document. You can see it shows you the zero here. And the representation of this units are inches. You can see that it's 13 19 inch. The one, two, three, all are inches, you can see the Xx shows 13 inch width and Ox shows 19 inch height. This is exactly the dimension I was provided, and this is how we show the ruler. If you want to create the guidelines, generally with Auto B Photoshop Illustrator, we use the rulers and from the rulers, you will generate the guides. The same way you can create the guides in Canva also. To access that, I come to the ruler. If you want the vertical guide, you can go to the left hand side ruler or if you want the horizontal hide, you can go to the top of this ruler. I just click here and drag. You can see when you click and drag without release my mouse, it shows you that guide was getting ready. I can just move and it shows you the exact dimension where the guide right now. You can simply move and place where you need the guides. I just place here. Again, I need a guide, I just create and you can create any number of guides without any issue. Based on that layout only you are going to create the guide, you can generate any number of guides here. From OI axis, this left hand side, I just drag and create the guideline as I required, and I just place in the proper positions where I required those guides. I was placing here after that. If I want another guide on center point, I'm going to add it. This is how we simply add the guides. You can also adjust using those options. I just click and drag, you can see. It's easy to adjust those guides also. Just right over this page, you can see it shows you the option here which is guides. It shows you the additional options which is available with Canva document. I guides, it shows you clear guides, log guides. If you want directly here without use of the ruler bar, you can go for add horizontal height and add vertical hide. Let us see, I just choose Add horizontal height. Before that, I just remove in the same way, I just click and track and release on the ruler bar as we do with software. I just remove those horizontal guides. I just rightly choose guides and I'm going to choose Add horizontal guide. Can see I got the one and I'm going to choose another time here so you got the new one again in this place. So in the same way, you can add any number of, you know, guides, and now I'm going to add a vertical guide using the same options. So I go to the guides and I choose Add vertical guide. So we got new guide here. So in this way, you can simply generate the guides. And if I want to lock all guides because that disturbs when I do the design work, I can just rightly kind of choose guides and I can choose the log guides. So after choosing the log guides, you can see, I cannot touch anything because I was locked. So those guidelines are simply non printable elements, so we don't need to worry about the output of the design, all are non printable elements. If you don't need any guide, you can simply right choose the guides and you can choose clear guides. You can see all those guides are clear. This is how we just manage the ruler bar using shift or you can go to the file and go to the settings and in settings, you can just enable the very first option, which is show ruler and hide. We to add guides using these rulers. We can right and I choose the guides and you can add horizontal or vertical guides. Since I don't have any guides here, we don't have option called log guides or remove guides, which is clear guides. If I add anything, you'll get those option here and you can use those things. This is how we use the guides and rulers in Canva design document. 8. Managing Multiple Pages in Canva Design: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can manage multiple pages for design and Canva document. This is a new document. It's a booklet design dimension. You can see the dimension here, which is having 14.8 centimeter width and 20 1 centimeter height. It's a small booklet dimension. I was having only one page here. Now after adding this one page, this is the default one page design, um, I have the option here to add a page. You can also see the same option here, but there is a difference between both. I choose this option, add a page. If you want, you can go for this option also, which is duplicate page so that if you have the content designed and elements on this page, you can directly use the duplicate if you need to utilize those elements on the next page also. So I just click here, add a page. You can see this is the page two, and it shows you the option which is add a page title. So if you want to add a separate title for each page, you can provide it. And if I don't need that page, I can come to this place or this place. Whatever the page, I don't need, I just click the option, delete page. So since it's only one page, I don't have a page name here. When I choose Add page, you can provide a separate name for each page. Also when I have multiple pages, it shows you the options here it shows me the option, which is hide page and you can just delete, you can add new pages, we can duplicate the pages, we can change the order here. We can do all those things here. Let me show you the example. I just want to change the color of this page background. This is a page one. I choose that background and at the top, it shows you the menu here. I'm going to choose the background color option. In our upcoming lesson, let me explain the color concept in detailed manner. Right now I just choose the background color and I choose one color here. I just want to show the difference between each page. So I just want to select the first page and I choose the color. The second page have the different color. Now I choose Add page. The third page also having the continuous colors, and I'm going to add the various color here. I will choose Add page again. And in a fourth page, I add some different color. And in between also you can add a page. It doesn't require to add at the end always. Here I'm going to add some gray. This is how we add multiple colors. And if I don't need to show any particular page, I can hide the page, so it will not available with doing documentation work. So you can hide simply if you don't need those pages and you can also make it visible if you want. So these pages are visible now and those pages when I use, I just hide the pages so it's not visible on those places. This is how you can either hide or show the pages. Now I want to move the pink page on below this gray page. I choose this option move down. You can see it was moved down. So in the same way I can move down or down. You can also move the page above other all pages. I'm going to choose this option, move up, you can see, again, move up to the very first page. This is how we can simply add the pages. You can delete the pages. I'm going to delete those pages. I just need only one page right now. So I delete those pages I don't need and this is how we have the pages. Now, if you want to duplicate, you can choose duplicate option and we got the new page here. Now, after adding those pages at the bottom also, you can see we have Ad page option. I choose Ad page option. The same thing was happening here and there is another way which is instead of choosing this ad page option, when I choose this place, which is the small, combo here, I will have the other different works, the design dimensions also with the Canva document. It's a best thing. You don't need to struck with the same dimension for the project work. If you want multiple dimensions with a single document design, you should go for this option and choose more so you can customize the dimension or you can use the recently used design dimensions. You can mention anything using this place. I'm going to choose this custom dimension. I'm going to mention that dimension in inch I'm going to mention that width into 13 inch and height into 19 inch, they choose a new document. So you can see the difference. This is the small booklet dimension, which is a first page, and this is the poster dimension which is 13 into 19 inch. So this is the beauty of, you know, adding the new page using that below combo box. I just click and I choose whatever I require, and I can add a new page. This is how we add multiple pages and remove pages using Canva. Apart from this, at the bottom, you can see we have the Zoom control, you can just zoom in and zoom out. You can also do the same thing using scolding the command and scroll if you are using the Mac PC and the control and scroll using Windows. This is how we use that Zoom control here, and after that, we have the thumbnail view. I just click here, thumbnail view so that you don't need to scroll, you can simply have that thumbnail view. But here you have the issue. You cannot see the exact dimension. That dimension will be fit within that window area. When I have this normal scroll view, you can see exact dimension of that design on screen also. Apart from that, you know, have the page navigation. You can jump from one page to another page. If you have 100 or 1,000 pages, it's easy to move using those go to page option. And it to shows you the grid view here. If you have multiple pages, you can enable the grid view, you can simply drag and move you can organize your document. And even if you want a new page or design, you can go for ad page or you can go for page drive, and you can add those options here. Now, by topic click here to access that design area, and you can see I was move that poster dimension above to the first page. So this is how we utilize all those things. Finally, we have this, you know, present full screen. I just click here so that I can access the full screen view of the present document. I press escape to come out of that. So this is how we manage the pages in Canva. We can add multiple pages. We can customize the color for the background. Even you can customize each page dimension. You can, you know, reorder the way you have the arrangement. You can hide those unwanted pages. You can do all those works using Canva document. 9. Shapes and Icons from Canva Library: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can access and use the shapes icons from Canva elements. Canva elements, it's a library. We can access all those elements for free, and we can also use the pro elements if you have the Pro account. Let me show you how we can access those things. To do that, first I come to the left hand side icons. You have a new document, you have different options here on left hand side. But in homepage, you have the different options. We know that you come to this homepage. You create new option, home projects templates. But if you are in a project, if you are in this new document, you'll have the design templates icon. You have the elements, text, brand, uploads, then tools and projects, apps. All those are available with this navigation bar which is present on left hand side. This the elements is the library. I just click here. When I click here, I can stay that library on my left hand side. Otherwise, if I didn't click, I just click outside the document or I just collapse this. I cannot access, but when I scroll, I can use, but if I want to stay those elements, I have to click that particular icon. After click that icon, here you can see it shows you all those elements which is available with Canva library, which is called elements. Here I'm going to add the shape. So if you didn't search anything here, directly, you will have this option, which is shapes at first, and you'll have the graphics and remaining all elements, including video and photos. Now, I come to the shapes area, I chose CA. Here it shows you various shapes which is available with Canva library. Now I want to access from the triangle click triangle. When you click triangle, I will get that triangle on screen. It shows you that triangle have the color which is already added with that palette. Now, you can just select the object, you can move, you can scale. When you selected the object, you will have the transform control over the object. Using the corners, you don't need to hold the shipped key. Just with a free movement, you can maintain the aspect ratio and you can adjust the moments from the corners. You can also do the dimensional change using the middle points. That will change the aspect ratio, but if you want, you can adjust and you will get the shape, what you required for doing graphic design works. Here I'm going to adjust the height. You can see it perfectly do the work. If I want to rotate, I come to the bottom and I just do the work. It shows you what percentage of that rotation level it shows on screen now. I just delete that. You can see we have a lot more shapes out there. I have the option here, which is basic shapes, polygons, stars, all those things we can utilize. For access the square or rectangle, we have the shortcut key, which is R. When I press R on screen, you can see that we got that square and if you want, you can extend that as a rectangle. Control Z. You can see this at the top, you have the undo and redo options, so you can use it when it requires. Shortcut key is Control Z for undo and for redo, we have Control Shift Z. I come to the screen again, you can manage the document like this. You can set up the dimension of that object, what you required, and I'm going to add another rectangle here so I can use the same tool and I will get the new object over the screen. Now, I just click here, yes, I got it. This time, you can see, I got another color and I'm going to place like this. I just increase the height. This is how I simply create a very simple layout design for anything. You can use it for a booklet or you can use it for rapper design. This is how we simply use those elements. If I choose the above Shae, and I'm going to change the color here, again, telling you that I can use any color here and let me explain those features in our upcoming lesson. Right now I simply add the color which I require and I come out of that. So we have added two shapes here. Both are, you know, the same shape. When you add the shape, I can also adjust the corner of that shape. To do that, I can come to this place, which is the menu here, and I choose this corners. So it shows all the properties of that object you have selected on screen, and you can adjust the corner roundness, how much you want. I can see that it perfectly, you know, adjust those values. Just click this and I delete this and I don't need that right now. So you can add the shapes and you can adjust, we can add any shape which is required for the design. Now, I adjust this again and I just increase the space, which is above you can add in this way or I just add another page, and I'm going to explore more shapes, so I come to this see all option. So it shows you what are all the other different shapes you have with Canva. You can use it in effective manner, I just had a rectangle and I'm going to adjust the dimension. So to do that, just see how I, create the different shapes. I just expand over the page. I don't need to limit with that. And now I just rotate it and I will have the diagonal shape like this. I just want to duplicate the shape, I just right link and I choose duplicate. You can access that from this menu itself. So when I chose the object, you have the menu, I click here and I'm going to choose the option, duplicate. You can see that the shortcut key is Command D or Control D. I just click here. I got the duplicated option. Now I just scroll and move the object there where I need to place the object. Now I can change the color which I required, whether it is light color or the mid whatever you require you'll get it. If you want to adjust that below, I can do that, I can adjust the height of the object and I can place. This is how we simply add those changes which is required for creating different layout design, but we use the shapes. This is how we use the shapes to create the basic layout design for any design work using Canva. Can also access that icons from the same elements category. I can mention the icon name here and I can get the icon here. For example, I'm going to mention food icon. And I press Enter. So when I type food on press Enter, I will have all the food icons here, and I need to use only the category, which is graphics because those category, icons only I'm going to use, I can change the color and I can do all those modifications. So I just click C A, so I'll have all those icons here in the form of vector shapes. That's the most important thing. Know that photos will have the rastro graphics. If you want to access the vector graphics, definitely you should go for this option with just graphics. Here I'm going to access those icons. As I said, I can change the color of those icons also. I'm going to load it first, so I come to the first page. Here I'm going to load icons. I'm going to load this icon first. It will be there at the center. I just move a little bit above and I'm going to adjust that using Al Takei, and I'm going to change the color now. So when I choose that vector shape, you can see here it shows you the color, and I can change the color which is required. So based on the k, you can choose which element you required and you can load it, you can place it and you can change the color if you want, and you'll get the exact thing what you required for the design. So when I add one element, you can see that it shows you the magic recommendations which is relevant graphics which is available with Canva, it will load all those elements here. So see, it's a huge library. We have both free and pro value elements. So this is how we use the shapes and, you know, icons in Canva library, which is called Canva elements. There's no the need you can give, you know, the particular name, search and utilize those elements inside Canva design work. 10. Adding Images in Canva: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can add the images, the raster graphics from our Canva elements. Let me show you one by one. First, I'm going to use this layout design for that. After having this layout design, I come to the elements, which is the library of Canva. Now I come to this place. In this, I'm going to choose the category which is photos. I just click here the option which is photos after choosing that here I'm going to mention what I required for with the keyword. So I'm going to add the keyword which is Burger. And I got it. You can see I press Enter after adding the keyword and I got the images here. A few images having the transparent background, but remaining images don't have the transparent background. Yeah, a few of them there. I'm going to load here. I just click here. You can see this image have the transparent background, but this image doesn't have. So we have both images in this library. I'm going to load another picture. This picture also transparent background image. So there are images out there with the transparent background. So you can utilize based on the need if you want. I click here again. So this two also, you know, having the transparent background. In this, I just want to crop this left hand side image. I need this alone. So when I choose the image, it shows you that, you know, transform controls, we can scale from those boundaries. On corners. But those midpoints helps you to crop the image area. I just come to this left hand side, just click and drag so that I can crop the image area without any problem. Remember, with help of those adjustments on the midpoints, you cannot scale the image, you can only crop the image area. On this bottom also, I just crop it and right hand side also, I just crop it. Now I scale it and I can place how I want this on this page. Can see how I perfectly add this with page. I want to add more images with this. I'm going to add table. You can see we got the table image. Type wooden texture. You can see I got a lot of wooden textures are there. So I just click here and I'm going to load it. After loading it, I just reduce the dimension. I increase the size. Now, I just rotate this and I just want to send this, behind the burger. So it's up to you. You can utilize those elements as you require. I just expand this till this. Now I want to send this, you know, behind the burger or I want to bring that burger in front. So what can I do that? I can select the burger. And after choosing that, I just click this menu. So I come to the properties and I'm going to choose the three dots here that is called properties. After choosing that, I can see I have option called layers. Using layer, I can choose that layer category first. I can send the selected object into back or bring forward. I choose bring forward. You can see I got that shape in front of me. You can do this kind of image adding process, delete now. In this way, you can add the images which you're required to add with the designs. Like, I'm going to choose the graphics category again. And in this graphics category, I'm going to mention the keyword which is burger. So instead of wooden texture, I'm going to change it. I press Enter. You can see we got a lot of burgers, and I'm going to use a few of them for background purpose. So I just click here, so that element was loaded. You can see that, and I'm going to choose it. I'm going to use as the background icon. So I want to reduce the dimension first. I choose it and I reduce the dimension, and I want to bring that below the object, and I got it. After adding that, I'm going to mention the color. I'm going to change the color exactly, and I want to reduce the size a little bit because the size is to actually bit, and I'm going to choose that color of the Objet again. And after choosing the color, I'm going to change the value. I choose the color. I'm going to choose the light color which is also used the upper segment. See this is how I load it. Again, I go to the elements category. So when I go to the elements category, two shows you the options which is available with the burgers in graphics. I see all. You can see we have a lot more magic recommendations. You can add it with the same kind of color, and it will be good. Like, I'm going to add the french fries, going to reduce the size, and I'm going to add here with the same color I used for the burger. Now, again, I go to the elements. Oh, my God, graphics, and I'm going to use the hot dog. Or anything else, I'm going to use the remaining elements also like pizza, and I reduce the size and I'm going to place where I need those elements. So after choosing that, I come to this color, I'm going to fill the color I require. This is how we use elements like images. We can simply add, the background free images. You can also add the background images. Based on the need, you can select the image category and add inside your graphic design work while do the design in Canva. 11. Image Frames and Grids in Canva: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can use the image frames and grids in Canva. These are the two important options we are going to use in each and every project. Let me show you how to use it. To use it, first, I open a new document. I was created that. After that, I come to the elements. I click here. I want to make sure this part should stay with the screen. And here I'm going to mention the keyword which is frame after adding the keyframe, I press Enter and here we have a lot of results. With this, I have the very first option here, which is frames. I click CAL. When I choose C, it shows you all the optons which is available with the frames. You can see the rectangle frame, the rounded corner rectangle or square frame, the circle. You can create all those geometrical based shapes. You can scroll down to see all those different frames available with Canva. Now I'm going to use the very first one. I choose this square frame after adding that, you just click there to add inside your work area. You can transform that frame using the corners and you can transform using the middle points also. Based on the need, you can adjust. And here itself, you can adjust the corners if you want. At the top, you can see this menu. I choose this corner roundness. With this tool option, I can adjust the corner round value here. You can see that. I can adjust that value tool. When you adjust this frame size, if you want to exactly set the width and height, you can choose position and you can come to this advanced option on left hand side. You can mention the exact width and height. You can see how it was changing according to my values. If you want to maintain that aspect ratio, you can simply use the corner points. You don't need to do anything else. Just press the corner point. And scale it. That's how we maintain aspect ratio. If you want the rectangle shape, you can either use the middle points on the top or bottom or left or right. This is how we add the image frame. How do we add the image inside? You just imagine here I'm going to have a picture. After adding this frame, I come to my elements. If you already uploaded the pictures, you can go to the upload, you can drag and drop that inside this design, or now I'm going to use the elements and here I'm going to type the images. In this, I'm going to choose this photos category. I will have a lot of images here. I'm going to add one image inside this design now. I choose this one after click that it was there and I'm going to add this image inside the frame by just tag and drop over the frame. Now the image was added inside. I can double click inside and I can adjust the picture area if I want. You can see that. I just double click and I access the picture and I can adjust as I required, and I can choose Okay or the done on left hand side. So this is how I adjust the image which is present inside the frame. And if you want to adjust the frame outside, that too I can do can see how I adjust and how the image adjusts itself. There is no any aspect ratio issue because this frame arches with a proper aspect ratio value. This is how I add the new frame and I add the images inside the frame using Canva. Now I'm going to show you how do we use the grids option inside Canva. I just add one more page here. I click this ad page button, so I got the second page. Now in the second page, I want to add multiple images with the proper alignment. That time we use this grits option. To access the grids, you can have two ways. First one, I come to the same elements. In this search, I'm going to use the keyword, which is grids. Before that, I come to the beginning the common area. Here I'm going to mention the keyword which is grids. I just give a keyword grids and press Enter. When I press Enter, it shows you a lot of options here. These are the options called grids. I choose this C all grids. Here we have the grades. I can load whichever the grade I required. If I'm going to use three images, I can choose three image grades like this and this and we to have different alignment based three image grades. You can see that all are beautiful. I scroll down. I have four image, two image, one image, five image. You have several image grids based on the need you can use which grid arrangement you want. Now, I choose this grid. When I add the grid, you can see that this grid automatically stretch with the document dimension. The width and height will be automatically adjusted. At anytime you can manually adjust either the width or height or the whole grid view. Come to the corners if I want to adjust the whole grid, I just click and adjust and I fit as I required with the page. I also come to the bottom right corner and I adjust as I required. If I want this grid for the half page only, I can just come to the middle point at the bottom and I can adjust the height as I required. Just click here and adjust like this. Now I'm going to add the images inside. I just come back to the photos. Here I'm going to mention that food, depress, Enter. Here we have various food items. I'm going to click one and I'm going to add here. I'm going to click another one. I'm going to air here. I add the random images inside the frames. You can see that it arches that picture position based on that image frame what we have with the grid. I need to add two more images, so I scroll down. You can clearly see that I was using only that free account. I was not using the paid or pro account for this lesson two. I just click here. I just need this also and I need one more image for this job frame. I'm going to use this one and I here. After adding that, you can see all those images are perfectly added inside this grid. Now in this grid also I can double click inside the particular frame and I can adjust how I want and I can click outside to come out of that grid view. And also select the entire grade. If I want to select, I can just click this edge of this grade. After choosing that grade, we can simply adjust the height. When you adjust the height or width, you can see all the images which is present inside will automatically adjust based on the grid appearance. This is how we simply add the image frames or grids as you required with that multi page design with Canva and it's effective automatic adjustment process. 12. Essential Image Adjustments: I in this lesson, I'm going to show you what are all the essential image adjustment options we have with Canva. To show that I was added one girl picture here, this is also the free image. After adding that girl image, I choose the picture. Of course, this was inside the frame. When the picture was present, inside the frame, you to select that picture and you'll have all the adjustments using this option edit. To access, I choose Edit option. In this, I'll have all the adjustments of image at the left hand side. You can see that I have option here called adjustment. I choose this adjust. When I choose adjust, it shows you the different options here at the top. So if I want to adjust the entire image area, I can choose all, or if I want to adjust the particular part of the image which I was selecting, I can use this click option. I click this option so that you can select the part of the image and you can adjust that part alone. Now, after I choose the click, you can see that it was having the scanning, and it shows me what are all the subjects we have with this feature. I just click this girl alone, I just click here and it was selected that part alone. Now if I do any change, that will affect only the selected area. That's how this click option works. I to have the option called brush. I choose the brush and I can set the size of the brush. After that, I can select manually how do I want that curl picture area? Not just the girl picture area, based on the need, we are going to select whatever the picture area. But if you can precise selection, use that either a graphic tablet or you are using the mouse in effective manner means we can go for that or for the rough selection also, you can go for this option, brush. Otherwise, I don't suggest this option. I just click Dselect here to deselect that. After that, I have the foreground and background. The Canva A automatically detect which is the background and which is the foreground. I choose this background first that analyze and you can see that it perfectly selected that background alone. Now I can do the change which is required for the background if I want. I to select the foreground, select the foreground alone. You can see that it perfectly selected that hair area here, but here we have a little bit of problem. But it really good the free option itself doing the best job with a Canva. So after selecting that part alone or you can select that based on the need, you use those options as you required. I choose T select and I choose this option, which is all, which means I'm not going to select the bot of the image, I'm going to use the entire area. Now after just double click this picture, I just want to show more picture area. So I come to this place. The more colors I have, I can show you the differences and the changes which is getting when I do the work. Again, I chose the Edit and I got all the options which is available with the adjustments. At first, you can see we have auto adjust. So if I want to neutral, the lighting value, the darkness, the brightness with a picture, I can directly go and select this option autoadjust. I click here. You can see that we got the auto adjustment, it shows you the colors adjusted. Now I press undo and you can see the changes what we have before and what was done after. This is the result after choosing that auto adjustment. Now we choose this option undo. You can see how it adjust the lighting and the brightness and contrast with the image. Now I just choose unto. This is the original state. Again, I go to the edit and after this option, which is auto adjust, I have the option, the manual adjustment process settings. I'm going to use these options now. At first, I have a intensity. The default value for all the adjustments are zero. If I increase, I can move this slider on right hand side, and if I want to reduce the value, I can move the slider on left hand side. Based on the need, you are going to choose which direction you want to move. I click here and I move forward, so you can see I can increase the intensity of the picture. If I move left hand side, you can see, I can reduce the intensity. Up to this 100% value, we can either increase or reduce. This is how the intensity option works. Now, I make this into zero again because I want to show you the other options also. Next, we have the white balance category. In this you have two options, temperature and tint. The temperature helps you to create a warm or cool light appearance, and the tint will help you to add different shade of color. Here I'm going to choose the temperature first. By default, it was zero. When I move this left hand side, you will have the cool appearance, which is added with blue and magentha. Now, if I move this towards right hand side, I will have a warm image like appearance. I was added with yellow and green. That's how we have the warm and cool adjustments using this temperature option. That into zero, and I choose the tint option. So this is a default value. When I choose the tint and increase the colors, you can see how that changed the color tone of the picture. So if I want to adjust in this, the green tone and this purple tone, I can come to this tint and I can adjust those values. To the white balance, I have light adjustment. I have the brightness, contrast, highlight, shadow, white and black. All those are different values. Let me tell you each and everything here. Right now I choose this reset adjustment, so those options are reset. Before I was used the auto adjustment, so those settings are automatically added. Now I just come to the bottom. I choose reset adjustment. Everything was clear now, I'm going to add manually again. Here I'm going to choose this option brightness. It will adjust the overall brightness of the picture. I come to this place, again, I adjust the right hand side, so it will increase that exposure of that picture which is with the brightness. If I want to reduce the brightness, I can come left hand side and move the slide towards left. This is how we adjust the brightness for the picture. We have a contrast. If I want to increase the contrast of the image with the pixel color value, I can use this option contrast. I increase the contrast now, you can see how it was getting the dark values with the pixels. I can also move this left hand side if I want to reduce that contrast value. We use these options to arches the image appearance based on the requirement. Again, I set this value into zero and here also, I'm going to set this value to zero. Come to the highlights. The highlights helps you to adjust only the highlight area of the image. Remember that every picture or that painting or to have three detail. One is highlight, second one is shadow, and the third one is Min does. In this picture, the bright pixel areas are called highlights. You can see the nose area. Knows we have the most bright pixels on the edges. You can see that when you compare those pixels with this area pixels, definitely, they are the bright pixels. That area absorbs the light directly and that's why that looks very bright with a picture. On those lips also, you can see that these areas receiving the light first to compare the previous areas and the hair and the shirt collar in all those, the places where the light was getting exposed, the shadows and highlights are common. So these are the highlighted areas. If I want to adjust those areas values alone, I can use the highlights. You can see how those values of the highlights so the picture was getting adjusted. I can either increase or reduce the highlight values area. The same way I can adjust these shadow areas, not the black the shadow areas, you can see that here also we have the shadow here, we have the shadow here, we have the shadow. We can adjust all those options using these shadows. I click here and I move, you can see all those shadows are vanished. We have only limited amount now. You can adjust shadows using this option. You can also increase the shadows using this minus slider value. And I choose white. The overall adjustment of white and black with the picture is whites and black. I can increase the white or reduce or I can increase overall black value or reduce. These are the light adjustment options we have for the image. Again, I choose a reset and we have color adjustment option here. We have three options here. First one is invert. If I want this inverted value, I can use this option invert, or I can disable that I have the option called vibrance. The vibrant makes the color more vibrant. Ates on right hand side, you can see that this picture is getting more color on that particular tone, but there is a limit. Apart from that, you cannot adjust that value. This provides the vibrant future that look to the picture. Now we move on left hand side, it to remove the color at particular value, it stop that function, not 100%, it removes the color. That's how these in the vibrance option was functioning and saturation was completely different. Saturation increase the colors, keep on until it reached the maximum value. You can see that it increase the color value. When you go for the hundred, it reached the maximum value of that particular pixels color value. If I move on left hand side, it move to the zero value and you can have the complete grayscale image. This is how the saturation function is working, apart from that, you do have the color detection here and you chose the basic two colors available with the picture. You can see that the pan and the overall color values, I can just select that here, whichever the color it was detected, I can adjust that color value using the hue option. So it was adjusted. I can also adjust saturation. I can also adjust the brightener for that particular color which is ducted. I can also select the other one. I can adjust to the same thing. Here we have the blue. You can see that. I adjust and change the values, which is having the blue. All those functions are working for only that tool, that tone was detected with the system. This is how these two options are working. I was automatically detected. I cannot decide manually which option should be, which car should be detected from the overall image. Now, again, I said that inter zero. So that will be the default value of those color edit options. Apart from that, I have the texture option at the end. Now, I zoom this Aa a little bit. I can see how those changes doing modifications with the picture. First, I adjust the sharpness. So I increase the sharpness. You can see how that change the edges of each detail can see how it, you know, adding more sharpness to the picture. If I have a normal view instead of zooming view will have bit good result. I can adjust little bit if I need sharp pixels on the picture. The picture will be more sharp to compare the previous date. But I can use only that optimum value I require. I cannot increase like that in the same way, if I want to reduce the sharpness from the picture, I can go for the negative values. You can see this is how it adjusts the values. So I can use this option when it requires, and you have the clarity option. So if you need to adjust the overall clarity of the image, you can adjust that and Wignate. So that's the option we provide the vintage look to the particular selected image with dark or light values around the picture. So these are the options we have with adjustment based on the need we are going to use and we are going to effectively do the modifications with color. 13. Working with Text Tools: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can use text and its features in Canva. To do that, first, I'm going to choose this option, text on my left hand side. You have shortcut key, which is So if you press you will automatically get a text field on your design itself. So now I press you can see I got a new text field on my workspace. It shows the pre form text, your paragraph text. It shows two options to you. One helps us to move the text field. Another one helps us to rotate the text field. You can directly do both things using that. Just give to. Apart from that, it gives you the option to expand the width at the same time, you can also expand the size of the text. These are the default options we have with text field. I just delete this using delete key. You can also come to this place and you can choose this option which is When I click I will have multiple options here to load text information on my workspace. At the top, it shows you we can add the default text bus we used to add with the shortcut I click here, you can see that I can add multiple text fields. It was adding on by on on my screen. I delete that I'm going to choose this option, which is magic write. Using this magic we can generate the artificial intelligence text at any number of times. That's the best thing about this Canva account. You can generate the content and you can add it inside this design. Apart from that, you have the brand kit option also. You can use this when you use the brand kit values in Canva. After that, we have the heading text field, the sub beeding text field, and the text field for the body content. If you want to create a heading and subding and the body content text information, you can go for this and it will have the default dimensions. You can see that I add subding and I have body text also. I just click here. I added three form of text. You can see that this is the heading, subding and body. So you don't need to adjust manually, that itself adding those features. Apart from that, it to have many text combinations. You can use those things also. For example, I come here, I use this option, which is new project. I click. It was loaded inside my design. You can see that I can just move here, I can scale it and you can see that we have two words inside this group. I can ungroup this and I can separate and I can edit all modifications and everything using this Canva text. Now I group this, so you can move anywhere with both text fields. If you want to delete, I can use this option delete. You can also use a shortcut key, which is delete. Now, I choose add text paragraph, so you have a text field here. When I was selected the text field at the top of this tool B you can see, we have all the properties of the text. We have the font type. You can choose which one you want and it will be added there. You can choose with enormous amount of bonds here. You can also adjust the size of the text using this increase and decrease text value. You can select the text color using these options. I just place here with the title. And I'm going to scale this. I just places here and I scale here. After choosing this, I want to change the color of the text. To change the color of the text, I come to this players text color. I can choose which text I want. I already have the brand color values here, I can directly use from that, or I can use my own colors. To collect the colors or to change the colors, I come to this place, add a new color here I'm going to change what kind of color I required. So after choosing that particular hue and lightness, I can just click outside to ensure that color I required. You do have the bold italic underline, all those font styles. If you want to style it, you can add it. This bold is available for the essential fonts, not for the font which is having the bold alter. You can add the strike three if you want and you can make it into all upper or lower using this option. I already used the uppercase text, so I cannot convert now. But when I use lowercase text like this, I was added on text field. I click here, uppercase, you can see that all was converted as uppercase. I can also convert that dug in as a sentence case. It's a toggle shortcut. I can use this option to align with the left, right, justify and center. This is the center and this is left, and this is you can use when you use the paragraph text. For example, I'm going to add multiple text here. I just copy the text and I'm going to paste this for the multiple times. And here you can see I have five lines of text. And I'm going to change the alignment now. This is the left alignment. This is completely center alignment. You can see that on both left and right hand side, we have the center alignment, and this is right, and this is justifying. You can choose which alignment you want. Business and you can use it. We have list. If I have the text field and I was added the information like this using Enter, I can add the list which is required. You can see when I was adding that list, by default, it was adding order list. You can see that and I can click here once again to convert that as a order list. Before that, I change the alignment so that will not have any issue here. I just change the text color so that it will be having better visibility. If you want, you can add list. And when I press the same list again, I can convert that list the nodal list as a order list. Again, if you want, you can just disable that also. This is how we use the text option which is list. Here I have all the text advanced adjustments. I select this text and I'm going to show you here. I click this advanced. Using this, I can adjust the letter spacing, the character space between each and every text. I set that into zero, and I have the option here, which is lines spacing. When I have multiple lines like this, I can adjust the lines here. The line space can be increased or reduced using this option, line spacing. So the zero is the value like this. So the default value of this particular line spacing is 1.4. You can keep 1.4 bit of fault. And after that, we have anchor text box. If you want to access more settings here, you can click here. And on left hand side, you can see, we do have the formatting options. You can set the normal text. You can use the superscript subscript, and you can adjust the kerning and you can also adjust the leakage. So all those options are there to do the text adjustments in Canva. Apart from that, you have the transparency option. You can make the text visible or not. You can also adjust the value of the transparency. You to have special options with the Canva called ex. In FX, they provide a list of ecs which gives the better enhanced text and Canva. I choose this title now and in FX, you can see on left hand side, by default, it shows none. After that, it shows you the option which is shadow. I'm going to choose this option which is shadow. When I choose this option shadow for the title women, you can see that we have a shadow and the shadow properties are there below that option. We have the offset by adjusting the Osete value, you can adjust the distance between the shadow and the subject. I can change the direction and you can set how you want that direction for the text. You can blur the shadow. Right now, it was showing the sharp edges. I can adjust using these options. Also adjust the transparency using this option and you can change the color if you want. I'm going to choose the black now. This is how we have. I can adjust the transparency as I required. These are the options available with this shadow, the same way, it has so many effects, which will help you to build the better typography. I choose lift provides the default lift of that shad with the background. I can adjust the intensity here using this option. I have hollow. You can turn any text into hollow. You don't need to find the hollow type of text. It's easy to use this option and also you can adjust the thickness of that hollow text. You have the slice. You have this hollow text outline. You have the solid like the shadow behind that. You can adjust the thickness can distance adjustment using this offset. You can also change the direction if you want. If you want to change the color of that shad also, you can change it. That's purely based on the need. You can select what kind of color is required and it will be applicable. And when you added any style, if you don't need that style I was used was applied, you can simply click here, none reset all those styles. You have outline, so using outline, you can add a stroke for any text. Canva provides you that option which is outline. You can adjust the thickness and it was completely spread outside only, not inside that text form. I chose none again. You have echo which is adding multiple shad appearance, having the echo of text information. You have the glitch effect. You can change the color, position, direction. And you can see that there are two color combinations out there. You can also change that red and son and this pink and son. If you want to change the color you can do that. All those options are available there. We have the neon glow. When I click this neon, that text color itself will be spread with the glow behind the text. I can adjust the intensity of the color as I required. Finally, we have the background. If you want to add the background shape that color alone, you can use this option which is background. I choose none. All those options we can use for adding the different textiles inside the canvas. At the end, you can see we have the position option. We can use that align the object on the particular place with this workspace. In effect, at the end, you can see we have the option called shape. By default, it will be the flat which is nun. If you want to curve the text as we have the circle rubberstamp logo shape, you can use this curve, you can adjust the circle. When it requires, yes, you can go and use for. But for this, I'm not going to use it. I just choose this option nun. These are the options we have with this Canva. Now I just delete this option, this option. This is how we have the text properties and text information to build a design with Canva for graphic designing as well as the multipage graphic design works. 14. Font Pairing in Canva: I in this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can use font pairing in Canva. Font pairing means we are going to combine more than one font style to create a design work. With the help of the multiple font styles, we can build a strong communication design which helps the users to understand the information through design works. Here on this Canva text itself, they have provided different font styles, you can see, they combine multiple fonts to convey the information with hierarchy. Apart from this, we do have several fonts, the paired fonts, Canva itself sharing the information of how we can effectively use the font pairing inside the Canva. To learn that come to this Google and type font pairing. And Canva. When I type font pairing Canva, you have a lot of results here. In this, you can see, they provided the different options here, which is showing the font pairing options. I opened the very first one. I also opened this, which is showing the best Google font combinations we can try. I also opened that both opening the different pages, but both pages are created by Canva itself. Here I just scroll down. They provided the anatomy of typography. They provide the knowledge with how we can use the text various segments, which is the baseline and which is the terminal, which is descender. All those things are highly essential to create best design with typography work. Apart from that, they have provided the different font styles available with Canva. We have serif and Sanderif means we have a thick and thin edges with the text, and the Sanderf will have a flat text from the starting to end. We have script font style. We have the alignment arrangement appearance, hierarchy based text, we have slab serif, which is another serif font will not have the sharp edges, but will have uneven shape with the text. Apart from that, I just scroll down, they provided multiple different font combinations, which is available with Canva also providing the better communication for the gravid design work. Here they have provided the font name. Here also they have provided the font name and they mentioned the different sizes, different styles of the font also. Best thing about this font pairing in Canva, they to provided the example of the particular font styles used with the design or photograph. I scrolled down. You can see how the combination used with designs for the font pairing work. Here also I was showing that they use the two different font styles and they used that for building a resume. So throughout this page, you can see there are so many different fonts available. You can understand how that font can be used, the size, the alignment, the color they used for that particular design or image. All those things plays a crucial role when you come to do a graphic design with Canva. There are so many different combinations available. You can simply scroll down and you can see all those font bearings, how they used with different examples and that conveys the information in a great manner. I come to the second tab. Here also they have provided the text information, how those text information that styles can be used with the design. These are the two different options. Canva itself provide for you to learn about the font faring. 15. Using Dynamic Text Page Numbers: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can add the dynamic page numbers for the multi page document with Canva. In Canva, you can add multiple page numbers. We have the special feature for that. To add it, I create the document. I was adding multiple pages here. So we have five pages. Now I'm going to add the page number for that. To add the page number with Canva, I come to this text option. In text option, I have the dynamic text category. In dynamic text, right now, we have the option, which is page numbers. So I just click here, which is the option page numbers. When I add, it shows the numbers only. Or I need the name which is page plus number. For example, page one, page two. If I need in that way, I can choose this and when I click that at the bottom, you can see that it was added with that style. I I need the particular color for the page number, I just give one do. Before that itself, I need to add the proper font text color. I click here once and you can see the last used to font color was this yellow. I changed that into black. You need to have the proper color. Then you can use those things. Now again, I come to this dynamic text. I click here. When I add this dynamic text, it shows you that font color here. I change that into black. But that page number, you can see that it shows only numbers. I can change that into page one and page two. I can change that in that way, or I can add just number alone. Here it shows you the show number on. So I can select from which page I need to show the number. I just disable this page one, and I choose done so that it will not available with the page one, but from page two, you can see we have the page numbers. You don't need to add in individual pages. Now, Canva provided these facilities only. But in future, they will add more facilities with page number and chapter number and the footer also. This is how you can simply add and change the page numbers inside the multi page document work. 16. Upload Custom Elements (Images, Fonts): In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can upload our custom elements like images and fonts. To do that, I was created a new document. After creating a new document, I was opening a website. This is the website called thousand ofs.com. We can use this website to download our custom fonts. It has a different categories. After visiting the website, I come to this place. Here you can navigate a different font styles. You to have a preview here. Here I can mention what text I want as a preview. Here I'm going to mention graphic design. And for this text information, it shows the preview with that term now. It has huge amount of different fonts. You can download as you require. For our design, I'm a required title based fonts or poster based fonts. So they to provided with a different categories here. You can see that it shows you the brand identity, handwritten, Elegan, poster, fashion, and other all categories. I have the option here more so I can have the more different category fonts with that categories. Here I'm going to choose the category which is poster. When I choose poster, it will give you that font which is mostly used in poster design. Here it shows that preview of the text, which is graphic design, and they have provided the particular font name here. At this right hand side, you can see they have provided the download facility. Of course, you can download those fonts. When you download, you should look at this icon here. It shows whether that font is free for commercial use or not. For example, you can see this font is completely free for commercial usage. They have provided that dollar icon with green symbol. And this too shows you that this font is free for commercial use. But this font is showing with red icon. You can see that it was mentioning that it was used for free for the purpose of personal use only. So you cannot use this for the commercial usage. So you should aware of that what kind of font you require. We can download according to that. Now, scroll down. You can see that we have more fonts here, but all are personal use fonts. I come to the top. Here I choose this option, which is commercial free. When I choose this commercial tree will show you only the commercial free fonts. So you can download with free process. I download this font, and I come down going to download this font also. So this is how you can download the customized font and whichever you require, you can download and you can use inside the Canva. The same way, if you want to download the custom images, you can go to this website which is pxels.com. I just click here and you can see the website which is pxels.com. Now, I come to this license page. I click here and they have provided the license details. Of course, all these images are completely free for commercial as well as personal usage. You can see that you don't even need to add that attribution. It's not required. So you can use this for the commercial usage. It's absolutely royalty free that images and videos which you have downloading using the pexels. I come here and I'm going to search a few elements. I'm going to mention that category, which is miracle. So for my design, I may need medical based images. I come to this website here, you can see we have that category images based on my keyword. For each download, I can use this button which is download. When I click this button, I will get the complete quality of that picture. Or if I just rightly going to open this with a new tab, you can customize what quality required. I come to this place, I click here and I can choose either original by default, it will be original, or I can choose the small size pictures also. Click here directly, it will download the original size image. I just click here to download this picture and it shows that who was created that picture and it was download. Now I need to download more images. So based on the need, I'm going to choose. Right now, I was choosing the random images. I just want to show you how we can upload our custom images in Canva. I come here, I'm going to show you another image which I'm going to download. So here I choose this one and I choose this download. So I was download three images. Now I was downloaded three images and four font styles. Next, I'm going to upload those informations in Canva. After downloading it, I come to the Canva. In Canva, first I want to upload the images. To upload the images, I come to the left hand side. Here you can see the option called upload. I click here, and here it shows you upload files. I come to this place and I'm going to choose upload files, so it will open a brows window. I was added those information in a separate folder. Here you can see, I was extracted the fonts I was downloaded that has the font family. You can see that each and every category have its own font family, it has a different font styles. You can see all those different font styles is available with the particular category. So after extracting this, I'm going to upload in Canva. Now I select all these three images. I can either select one by one or I can select all together. I choose open. Now you can see all these three images are getting uploaded. You can see that it shows the progress of that uploading image. I was uploaded three images and all three images are visible here. So after getting uploaded, you can just click the image and you can use that inside your design. You can directly use on stage in this view or you can use inside the frame. This progress shows whether all the images I was selected was uploaded or not. This is how we upload images for Canva. For text, we have a different way. Let me show you that. To do that, I open this text. I click here and I'm going to add one text box. When I choose text box, it was opening the text properties on my toolbar. Now in this, I'm going to choose this font category. When I choose this font category on left hand side, you can see the list of fonts, and at the bottom, you can see that we have upload a font. You can clearly see that this option is only available for pro users or educational version users. So let me show you how we can upload that font using the educational version. In my educational account, I chose this fonts category. On my left hand side, you can see that we have the fonts, and I have the facility to upload the fonts here. I choose upload font. Now, after choosing this upload font, I visit that folder and I choose all the fonts I required to upload. So I was choosing all the fonts, and I choose this option. You can see what are the fonts we are going to upload. We are going to upload starts with gusta. We can see that and gunplay, and we have Manbo with a different font family options. After the Mont we have this Mont Stat. So I choose all the fonts, and here I'm going to choose the option which is open. So when I was inputed, yes, I want to upload all those things. I know that all these things are commercial free. I download that, it shows you that you can only upload 20 fonts at the time. No problem. I'm going to select multiple fonts here. Till this man bow I'm going to upload. Yes, I upload and I confirm that. Once if you upload it, you can start to use that font style. It was getting uploaded and it shows you that the fonts you can select whichever you record as, this is fine. I'm going to choose this upload selector. After uploading that, you can utilize those font styles. Now here I'm going to type that keyboard, which is man Bow I can see that font style here. I click that font style. And it was used here, you can see, we can upload the remaining fonts in the same way. I just add it and I'm going to expand the size, I increase the size here. This is how you can upload the font you required. You can utilize that, you can change the color as you required. After uploading that in same way we use with other software, we can completely customize that particular font and use inside Canva. 17. Canva AI Content Generation: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can create AI content using Canva. You can create A content using Canva with the option called magic Rt. In our previous lessons, I shows you how you can access that option here I'm going to show you how you can use it. To use it, I'm going to use this option, Magic Right. I click here and you'll get this option here. You do have another way to access that. You just come to this place. You just press the keyboard shortcut key which is slash. When I press this slash, we'll get this option, which is search actions. Here I'm going to use this magic write. I click here and I can load the same thing here. Now I come to this place, I just opened this option. It shows you two ways you can write the text or you can create a voice. I'm going to create the text now and here I can mention what text I required here to generate with this Cava document. I'm going to give that conden which I just need that recipe information or some, you know, dishes. So I'm going to give a keyword. Provide that Chinese for item and I was giving that command here. It was generating various Chinese food information, and if I was okay with that, I can choose this option insert. I can also copy the information and paste somewhere else, not with the Canva document. I can click this option which is insert. If I need more like this, I can use this option. If I want to provide modifications, I can use this butt. Now I choose this Enter option and you can also press Enter key. Like the center, so it will be added with my design inside that text box. You can see that it's a simple text box we have. This is how you can generate a content. You can generate any number of time because this Canva software itself, the online platform itself connected with the chargevit and they provide this service to the Canva. You can utilize this in effective manner. You can use all text adjustment options and you can do the alignment for the text information inside Canva. This is how we use this option. Ava AI text generation using this magic write. You can add the information. You can also give an input. You can add a design or you can upload the file and you can generate the information using Canva. 18. Mood Board Design in Canva: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can use moodboard concept in Canva. Before you create any design, you used to create moodboard, which helps us to create perfect design with colors, typography and other all elements. When you want to create a moodboard, Canva is the best option. In my templates, I come to this place. After that, I'm going to choose the search area. Here I'm going to mention moodboard. Now, I press Enter. After adding that keyword moodboard, I press Enter and it shows you a lot of results. You can see it shows you the different moodboard designs. I access the very first one here and I'm going to choose this option, customize this template. I do have other moodboard designs below. You can see that. I just load those designs also. We have huge number of designs which is available for a moodboard design. You can see that all are really good. Going to load this one, so I just click here. I'm going to choose this option, just customize the template. Here I just press my Control or comand and click the mouse so that it will be opened in a separate tab. Now I just scroll down. I want to open few more designs. I just open it. You can see how we have the moodboard design here. Just adjust the zoom level. This is 100% zoom. Here I'm going to choose this moodboard design. This mode board have the primary images and other all images, I'm going to use the design, and it shows you the different colors which I can use with the design itself. We can create those colors using the images itself. We don't need to serve the Internet for those things. Come to this place again and you can see we have more moodboard design. Based on the theme you have choose, you can open that mood board and you can customize it if you want, you can also create it and you can utilize that for your designs for the wrapper, not just the wrapper, for the content you are creating inside the browser or poster design or book design, you can utilize these moodboard design with the typography, colors, and elements to create better compost design. You can customize everything. You can see that those images are added inside the frames. We know how to load the images inside the frame. You do have the different font styles. We can prefer that. You can select the color from most of the time using images and you can add it. For an example, I just duplicate this using Command D or Control D, it will be getting duplicator. I can also use this option to duplicate and I'm going to drag and I'm going to place here. Here I'm going to change the color for the shape. To do that, I just place first and I'm going to collect the color from this picture itself. To do that, I just come to this color, the fill color I'm going to use, and I fill color, I choose this new color option. In a color option, I choose this pick a color and from this picture, I'm going to collect the color. I can use this one because this color was derived from this picture itself. This is how I collect the images, which I'm going to use inside the design. I can use it on my moodboard design. I can derate the color from the images and I can create best typography to add inside the design, and it will give you the visual composure that will help you to create better designs using Canva. This is how we use the moodboard design. You can either use existing designs or you can create the complete new designs also using Canva. 19. Project Management in Canva: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can create and manage your project work inside Canva design. In next lesson, we are going to create the project work of the multi page document work. Here let me show you how you can manage your project. To do that, I quote my left hand side. I have a lot of options here. In this, I'm going to choose the projects. When I choose projects, I will have the previous projects I was created using Canva. You can see that I was created the folders like game website design, print production. Those projects I was created already. If I want to create my new project, I come to this place, add new, I click here, and I choose this option which is new folder. I click here. After choosing this, I'm going to mention the particular folder name. Here I'm going to mention that book design. If I have the name of that particular book, I can mention that book itself, and I'm going to choose this continue. If you have your own group and if you want to share with your team, you can also choose that and you can share with your team members also. Now, I just click this option. Continue. When I click this option Continue, it was created, that folder was created here, you can see that and it shows you that open button here, you can also access from this place itself. Now, I just open inside. I click once and you can see we have that project folder. Inside, if you already created a design, you can simply add it or you can start to create the design using this option, create design. To add existing design, you can use this option. Inside, if you want to create more folders like you are going to create the folder for images, you are going to create the folder for typography text. You can use the same option here. I choose Add New and folder, going to mention images. I'm going to choose Add new. Going to choose the folder going to mention logo. And I'm going to choose Add new again. I'm going to add the text. I'm going to mention fonts. Just close this. In the same way, you can create any number of folders. Now I enter inside the images and if I want to upload my images, which I'm going to use with that design, I can use this option a, and here I can choose the option which is upload files. I can upload the images which I was required to create this project work. You can also completely upload that folder which is required for you. You have option to import those images from different drives. So these are the options we have effectively with Canva project work. I choose these projects, we can see we got that book design project folder. Inside, we have three categories. You can also select this as a stared element so that it's easy to load those elements in a quick manner. Now I click this button. I to shows you the different options to open with a new tab and you can duplicate the project. You can move somewhere else. And if you want to share with someone or a team, you can use this share option. If you don't need that folder itself completely, you can use this option which is delete. You can also select the multiple project works. You just scroll over the project and you can enable multiple projects and you can either move inside somewhere else or if you want, you can also delete that. That's how we use these project settings. This is how we create and manage our project work before we start to do the design works. 20. Project: Recipe Book Design: Hi. In this lesson, it's a project lesson. I'm going to show you how you can create a cookbood design using Canva. We're going to create a multi page dogment. For that, I'm going to use the content from this Canva dogment. I was prepared the content based on the French cuisine. Here I have 14 recipes. The design I'm going to use will have a 16 pages. The starting page will be the wrapper design and the last page, the book Outer page will have that details about the author or what are the information I need to provide about that purchase or contact? I can add all those things there. Here I have 14 dishes. Let us see how we do this work. To do this cookbook design, I open a new document. I go to the Canva. Here I want to create a new document. To create a new document, I come to this create option, and here I'm going to choose the option which is book. I click here, create and directly, I'm going to type here the keyword which is book. You can also choose this printable option on your left hand side, but it's easy to type that content you required from this search bar itself. Here I'm going to type the keyword which is book. So after type that key book, I have the option here, which is having A four and A five booklets. I'm going to use this option, which is A four booklet. I click here once. So when I click here, I will have that booklet template size with A four dimension. Remember, we use only the free accord. We didn't use any paid acco for this. Here I'm going to mention that particular book I'm going to create. Like, I'm going to use the same content here, French cuisine. So here I copy that, and I'm going to use the same name here. So I already have all the content. I don't need to type each and every word. I already have the information. This will be the wrapper page and I will have the further pages which is having the information about the dishes. Here I'm going to mention, I'm going to have the wrapper design here, and I just add a new page here. This will be the second page. In the first page, I will have the wrapper design. You can directly create the wrapper design or you have another way. You can simply come here on your left hand side, choose the design. Here I'm going to type that keyword, which is wrapper. I just click here and I'm going to type wrapper. So I type the keyword and I press Enter. So you'll have a wrapper design here. So you got only one right now, and it's, you know, premium book. You can see that. So you can create by yourself. I'm going to add the multiple, you know, shapes and I can do all those things. So right now, I'm going to choose the elements. In elements, I'm going to choose the shapes. So right now, I'm going to have only the basic shapes here. So I choose the shapes. In shapes, I'm going to use the rectangle shape. And I'm going to adjust that according to my need. I choose this and I adjust that So before you start to do the work, you need idea about what kind of layout you required for this book because in this wrapper design, we're going to add that primary element of the design, which is the best French cuisine dish on the wrapper. Right now, I just add, you know, the basic shape here to mention the book title. So here I'm going to mention the book title. It's up to you based on your creativity, you can decide where I need to add that book title. And here I'm going to mention one of the best dish about this book. So I have two ways to do that. I can either add multiple pictures on the rapper design or I can use only one picture. So to do that, I come to the elements. In elements, I'm going to choose the keyword, which is frames. So I just type frames and presenter. We know that we'll have the frames here and if I want to present multiple images on the wrapper, I can go for grids also because here you can present only one picture, but with the grade, you can add multiple pictures. Again, it's up to you based on your decision only are going to decide what you required. At the same time, here I come to this place and I'm going to choose the keyword which is grade so it shows me, uh, you know, the multiple grid images arrangement. So here I can choose C and I can select what kind of images I required on my rapid design. Most of the time, it's advisable to have only one picture so that that looks better, the best picture you can use on the design, and that will give you, the better output and it'll give better, um, you know, readability of that picture to the audience. I strongly recommend you use only one picture so that they have the better attraction towards the book. I just add it and I'm going to add the text here. I just type the key or just press T, and I'm going to paste here, that title French cushion. Here I'm going to move it and I'm going to place there. And I just want to increase the dimension and I want to change the color now white. I just select this and going to choose that into white. It's just a rough design I was doing at present. If you want, you can change that design after you have completed the remaining pages. I just expand this and I'm going to select the Turks, I'm going to change the text color. And here I just expand till this and here I can add that information later. After this, I come to the second page. Here I'll have the index of the different dishes I have with this book. I'm going to mention that here, add a text here. I'm going to type the text which is index. So this will have the list of dishes which is available with this book. I just press hold all turkey and duplicate this. And here, I'm going to mention the list of dishes. I just use the list, which is showing that, you know, the dishes number one to 14. So I can copy and paste those dishes here. And after this, I just add a new page. From this page only, I'm going to show that each and every dishes. You can see that in my Canada document, I have each dish name and the origin of the dish and small interaction about the dish, and the ingredients they need to use to create that particular, you know, dish. The preparation with steps, you can see that and to have the information about how you can serve that and which is good when you serve and having that particular dish. This is how I have a content and here I'm going to present it. I don't need a different layout design for each and every dish. Use the same layout for all dishes. I may use a different colors on the shape, but I should not use different design because in a design, you need to have that principle unity which will give better readability and access to the audience e. I don't need to change that layout. I just want to add only one layer here. Right now I come to this design and here I just tie the keyword which is layout. It has a lot of information layout. But, um, I don't have, you know, that kind of, uh, layout I required for this page. Fine. That's not an issue. So um, here I'm going to mention that Okay. Never mind. I'm going to create the design here. So I need the space. First of all, you can see that I need to add that particular dish title, and here I'm going to use that space to add the dish title. I can either use there or you can use the left hand side, and on right hand side, I can praise that product that image of the dish. Remember that image of the dish places the cru recipe books and, you know, that attracts and that gives the, you know, life for that book. So you need to avoided, you know, arrange maximum space for that. So I come to the elements, and here I'm going to choose that frame. I'm going to use only this rectangle frame which is, you know, better. And here I'm going to mention the dish appearance. So this is how I want to present the dish, or you have another way you can arrange the space for the dish, and here I can mention the particular dish name. But I strongly recommend you should have enough space to provide the dish appearance which will help you to have the better appearance. And after that, I'm going to add the dish name. I want to add a small space for the dish. Here I'm going to choose the text box and I want to place it here. I choose left alignment, and I want to place here. Here I want to add the dish name and I can change the size as I required. Just move a little bit outside the margin here I can select the particular text I required. So it's a title and it's a primary element of the page. You can select that font, which is providing the bold appearance and dominating all other texts on this page. I'm going to use this and it's a complete capital letters and I just need a captain lower letters, but it requires the bold appearance. I just scroll down more. I need to find the better font. Remember, I use only that free con. I was not using the paid account or the pro account. Here I'm going to use this title and I don't want to disturb the picture also. I can either use a shape behind this text. I come to this elements again and I just clear the frames and I come to this option which is shapes. Here I'm going to use the rectangle. Member after adding the rectangle, I can make that into rounded corner rectangle also like this. I just click here, I just move it and place here. And I had just as required. But you can see that it occupies a lot of space. You know, the SCP may not have the proper visibility after adding that. So I had to be careful when I do this work. And here I want to change the corner radius value. So I just around narrowness of the corner and I want to change the color of that. Here I choose that and right now I just add this color. I just need a contras later we can change everything. So as I said, uh, you have to fix the one page first. And after completing the one page design, you can simply duplicate and you can place the images and, you know, all those elements by replacing the informations. So after adding this, okay, just a little bit. Uh, here I want to add the remaining information. So I just want to add orgin and I want to add introduction. I don't need that text introduction. I just want to directly add this information there. So I just copy this information right now and I add a text, and here I want to mention the particular, you know, body content. After this, I'm going to mention the left alignment. So I choose left alignment and after that, I'm going to adjust here. I can adjust the font size a little bit. I don't need more than 12 font size. Can just maintain the 12. It has the basic information about that dish. If you want to adjust the margin, you can come to the file settings. Here it shows you the margins and other all values. You can see how it has the look of that information. So, you know, after adding all those things, that small introduction about that dish, I want to add ingredients. So I just copy that title alone and I just paste here. I just paste directly. So here you can see that I was used that term which is ingredients, and I want to copy and paste those information. I just copy that and I duplicate this and here I'm going to paste. Now I just expand that space and I can reduce the fonts more, as I said, more than twel I don't require, since it's a title that can have the fonts is which is 12. After adding all those things, I select both texts, I adjust little more moving towards top, and here I want to adjust as I required. I want to completely finish that information on left hand side, the ingredients on right hand side, I want to provide the steps are required to complete the work. Here just copy that information preparation and I want to duplicate this, I want to paste here. We further need to concentrate the typography and here I want to copy the information. And I just want to add here. I just duplicate this, but I don't need that list. I just need a normal text. Here I paste the steps and I expand the text area. You can see I need more space for that. I want to reduce the fontsie first. Now after adding that, I select the complete text and want to reduce the fonts a little bit, this itself enough for me. Fine. Uh, this laven is enough for that. And here I need more space for the steps. So I can adjust the layout now because I need a space for my ingredients. When I have more width, you can see that I can arrange everything in a single room. But I just want to adjust further. So the ingredients can be on left hand side, but I need to space from this layout. So I just move this further below. And this intro, I just edges, and I can move this towards the top. So I can have more space now and that intro will be there on left hand side. Here I have more space, so I can again, increase the font size if required. Since I used 12 font size will have a better readability. This is fine and here also I choose the information and I just move left hands a little bit. And here I don't want the step one, step two, but if it is there, it will have a better readability. So you can keep that and you can do the remaining works. After adding all those informations, I just adjust the height a little bit and here I select all the information and I move a little bit above. That's how I want to present that information. Apart from this, I have the serving suggestion, I can copy this and I want to present that too. I just want to place that here, and here I need to add just a little more. Here I'm going to have that serving suggestion. I just reduce the font size here, or to reduce the font size. I want to place the information towards right hand side of that option. Here, just place the text information. I want to duplicate this, so I just duplicate this. After that, I just paste the information here. I just double play. I just expind that text. I just press, so I'll have the rectangle here and I select the rectangle and I place at the first. After adding this, I adjust this text. This two will serve as title the heading and I just duplicate this, I just presolve alt and duplicate and I expand till this. After this, I just obligate this information. It's sent behind that and I stretch till the end. Remember, right now, I have three text box minced rectangles. So I just copy and paste the dish. And if you want that English information, also, you can copy and paste that too. And you can see that have a lot of, you know, a lot of space. I may choose any other suitable font style here. And before you choose the font, at the top, it shows you what are the different styles are available here. It starts with handwriting. Um, corporate. You can select the category and it's easy to select the font you required. After corporate, you have display and heading and paragraph and you have a lot more categories here. I choose heading and I need the heading, which is having a little bit condensed appearance. I don't need the wide spreaded value. This looks good, but I need more better font. No, no, no. This was fold, but that doesn't have the proper readability. I had to look for the better font. The feature is really good. But still, the readability is not to that level, so again, I want to change. No. This looks good. I just review that size of the text, change it into 13, the title of the text, and I just expand that shape a little bit. Here I have only capital letters. I don't have any small letters. I just further and this looks much better and balanced. So this is how we, you know, place the first template page. And here I have a little bit space for my page number. That's why I was left that space. And it's not necessary to add, um, you know, the shapes behind every object. It's up to you based on the need only you're going to decide. Right now, I was added the rectangle, um, because we may require the color behind the text. But again, as I said, it's based on your decision only. So after adding all those informations, now you can concentrate, how you are going to style the typography. I come to this place and here this is fine. Again, I choose that shape and I want to add some color here I want to mention that white. We'll have better visibility here I'm going to place the image. After placing the image, I can change the color of the rectangle I was having here. Remember here I want to use the dark color for the rectangle. From the image, I'm going to use a dark color, and here I want to place the picture, I just adjust this and here I have left arrangement and if I want the center or right or the justify alignment, you can just align according to the need. By default, it will be left and here I have the steps. After adding all those information, select this place. Here I just need the black text. This screen is two. You just decide what kind of theme you require for the page, a dark theme or bright theme because that too plays a crucial role. If you go for light theme, you can choose all those colors in a light value like this. And still, uh, it shows the difference, but you didn't disturb the entire layout. That's a beauty of it. Try to prepare according to that. I was selected only light elements here, and here also, I want to select the light color value. Either you can go for the light values like this or you can go for the dark values. Here after adding the serving suggestion, I want to add colon. And I was having that information about how they may need to serve. This is that final appearance I required, and here I choose that text and I can add a shape here behind the object, let me show you that or you can left like this also. Here I'm going to change that font style, which will give the better look for the title, this looks good. The leakage spoten here I want to select it, change the color. I choose this color first and from this color, I want to select the dark value. Here also I do the same thing. I select the color which is providing the better information from this only. I just move further and it reveals the same color for the information. For the body text, I can either have the same black or I can also change the color for that like this. This two looks good here also I can use the color like this. So here I need more dark values, so I add more dark values. You can see that it's not black now. It's that Sab green based color I was used. For here also, I want to change the color. I use that text color here, and here I'm going to choose the color value, and this is how it may have that look. So this is how I was presented everything. This is one way. Now I'm going to add the dish image here. How we can add the dish image, I just copy the dish name and I want to search in Canva itself. I'm not going to open any other software. I simply come here and I open this I just copy the information and I come to this elements page. In elements, I want to choose the images category. First, I choose elements and here I want to choose the images, which means photos. Remember, it has a lot of different categories. This elements page was updated. You can see how it looks. Here I want to mention the particular dish. I can either type or I can just click there and paste the element I was copied. So I just press Control V, and here I want to press the submit or I can press Enter. You got that dish here. You can see that we do have a free and the paid images, which is the pro images here. So most of them are pro images, but you do have free images. Now, if you want that same image in free form, you can also generate. For that, I'm going to use this option which is generate image. You'll see that in our further lessons, but right now I want to use that image which already have here. I had a lot of images. I may open the one from the beginning. Here I'm going to use this one. I can scale it and I can place as required, and I choose all magic recommerations. This looks better, so I can choose this also. After adding that, I just scroll and place on this right hand side. Now I choose the picture and I choose flip option and I choose flip horizontally. This is how you'll have the picture. Here I choose the rectangle. I can change a background color as required. I choose that color and pick a color option. From this picture, I can choose the color which is better. I may either choose like this, which will have the better unit content and I can choose this green, which is also right color selection. I can also choose the brown like this, which two suits for this background. I choose this this looks good. So this is how we select the color, and you can just that dish image, I choose done. So this is how you add the picture, and after adding that, you can decide how we traquis. So I choose those titles, and I want to convert that as a uppercase, which will provide a better look. And if you need the same, um, color theme you used for the dish, you can go for the same way also. Like, I have the information here. For each page, you can maintain the separate color tone based on the dishes you have with that. Right now, I just delete this and you can see, um, this looks good. And um I just want to maintain in this way and here I want to select and I want to select the color from this picture itself. I select this particular color looks good for the text content, I need this brown. This will have a better, good look to the picture here I select the last line and I want to use the color from the picture again. I use this color or I use that dark brown and according to that, I want to change the text color also. But so this is how you plan your recipe book design. I didn't add the page color here. So I select the page and I select this background color, select the background color either light or dark. Again, it's based on your decision only. And if you select the dark values, you can go for the text and you can select that into white, which will have a better readability. Here also I select the title and I select the title with bright color value, which will have the better readability. So either you can use in this way, the dark theme or you can go by this way, the light theme. Both are good and it will serve all the information to that layout. After adding this you just want to duplicate the pages and can do all remaining things. Here you can see the steps, either you can delete those text information, you can make that title into bold. Here also I just delete and I make the title into bold. That will provide the better readability because we know that here is the preparation steps and I don't need to add that information for HN every time. This is how you can simply create that recibe book. For this phase, I just create a rectangle. That will have the color of the design. I select it from the picture itself. I choose the color which is required to balance that information. Now I just duplicate the same shape and I want to place here, and I just expand the size and place like this. This is how I create the one page. Now I want to duplicate this and I want to do the same thing for remaining pages. Here, the color is a little bit different, uh that doesn't suit with that, dish. Here I want to select and change the color so that it'll have the better readability. Fine. This is how right now I used and here the green was entirely different. I need to go with the same color thing. I add this color and from that, just lighten or torken the color values. This is how I use the light colors. And here I select the text. I want to add the text color like this. This is how you can, um, set how do you want the information and we completed the one page. The same way, I want to do the remaining page content. I just duplicate this here I want to copy and page the information from dish two. And I just copy that. Before that, I want to add the origin of the dish. I can add the origin of dish on this place itself. I don't need the separate space for that. I just make that into smaller in size and I want a little bit small text information. Here I just copy the origin. And I paste here. This is how I just play and I just want to change the font style. This doesn't suit the proper appearance. I just use Canvas sands and here I can bold that text, which is origin. I don't need any background for this. This itself is enough, and this is how I want to present that page. Now again I duplicate this. In this page, I want to start that dish two. Here it has more content. You can see that. I don't think this is not good. What I do here is I simply reduce the dish size. I don't need that English information with the dish name. I simply reduce the size. You can see that I was simply reduce the size and I place here. Okay. So I don't need to add that with that dish or I can add that below the dish and I can move that origin little bit below that dish name. Here I move and I choose this and I move here. So I just move and after that, I'll have the origin. I just move the origin below. I select it and I move a little bit down, and this is how I want to place the origin. This is how I want to maintain all other remaining pages also. After I did changes, I delete the previously duplicated page. This is how I want to present all the dishes, and now I duplicate and do the same work for all other remaining pages. So there will be no change on those alignment and placement. I'll show you how color for each page, and I just move quick and jump to that part now. I was added 12 pages, and I want to do the adjustments further. So here I come to this first page. This is the first dish. For this shape background, I choose that background color, that shape color, and I want to choose that color from the picture alone. So I can choose either light or dark color. It's based on that picture you can prefer. So this will have a proper unity with the design. I can select the proper color from that alone. Select the background shape from bottom and top and here I can select the color from that picture too. I don't need to select some color out of that picture so that it will have a proper uniform appearance. I choose the color picture again and from this, I'm going to choose the color. It's not suitable for this. And this is good. This is how I want to color for this particular two shapes and the remaining are really fine. If you want, you can go for the green also for this because here I have a small plant, so I can also go for a green if you want. You can pick the color from this place. That to have the proper visibility to that title of that but in this page, this color I used previously itself was enough. After that, I come down and in this page, I was added, the enum amount of color. But here I add that information. It has some space here at the bottom. You can see that. Either you have to complete the content using the content writer, or you can leave that, that's not an issue. But here, I can choose this text alone and I can adjust the line spacing. I come to the text here, and here I'm going to choose the line spacing. In line spacing, I want to adjust that space and that really disturbs me. I just adjust a little bit, not too much amount of value, and this looks good now. This is how we can adjust the line space and I do here select this and I want to adjust the line space. I come here and here I want to adjust the same value. I can either adjust here, I can type the values want to die 1.6 and I press Enter and I can adjust further, so I just come to this place. Kivan Du. So this is enough for that alignment for that line space with the text. After this, I go to this page. So for attitude, I'm going to choose the shape and I'm going to pick the color from the background. So the picture will have the colors. I can use this color, and here I can use the color I acquired. So here I'm going to use the green color because I have that from the picture. So here I select that green. I can see that how it was. Here also I select the same green I was having with that picture. It looks dark, but it's good. This looks entirely different. Again, I select this both and I want to select from that picture itself. I choose the color picture and here I come to this place. I can select the color I required. I just select color here and that's the color I required. Here also I want to select the same color. This is the color I used to select this time. I select this part and here also I want to select the same color. I don't need that different color on the bottom. I come here and I choose this color first. From that, I want to add the dark value so that we have better visibility. Here also, I want to adjust the line spacing. I come to this line spacing option and I want to adjust that line spacing here, which is 1.7. I can adjust more and choose the value on 0.8. For that, I come to this place, I adjust the value 0.8. Here also I can adjust, but you cannot use too much amount of space. Don't forget that this is how I need this page and I come to this page and here I want to select the color from the picture too. I select this color and I want to add a little more dark value here, so I add the color value like this. Here I select the background shapes. I can go for light colors. So I select the color picture here and I choose this and I chose light colors. I can also select this spot and for this also, I can select light color. And for the text, I use the black so that it will have the better readability. I can also use the dark color of the same. And I come to the bottom here also, I want to use the same color values. I used to have the same color I used here. Okay, it was not yet selected. I select here, I choose here and I choose this color. I select the text information. Before that, I select the shape, and I add a little more dark value so that I can use the same white text. This is how I'll have this page. After this, I come to this page. Here also I can change the color values and I select the line space first and I adjust the values, but I cannot adjust too much amount of values here. So here I use 0.7 and if you are in this situation, I was used to the maximum values like I already use 1.8. I can give one line space for those spaces. So it will be better visible. And it can also balance that space you required. Here also, I want to change the color. I want to go for the light values here. I used to select this one and for the text, I want to select the dark values. Here for the background, I select these two shapes and I select the color and I want to select the color from the picture. I select the picker and I select the color from the two. Here also I can select the same color. I select both objects. I want dark color only, but I need a little bit dark values over that. I select and I add a little more dark values. That's how we select the colors and I go further. I select the dishes and I change the same values as I did previously. Here I select both elements. I come to the line space. I choose 1.7, this stretch to that starting to end and I select that shape color and here I want to select the color of this. This looks good. I can also go for some other different color if you want, but it should have the proper appearance to the page that should not go out of that design area. I want to adjust this page also, so I come to this place and I adjust 1.7 value for this also and here I select the dish. I select the color and I want to select that color I want to use. Here I want to select both shapes and I change the color. I can select either light and dark, we have both color valet here. Based on the lead, you can choose which color you want and here I select these two shapes. I want to select the color. I select it from the light colors. Now, after that, I come to this page now again. Here I choose these values. I choose the shape first. For this, I want to select the color from the picture. I select this and after choosing that, I want to change the color here. Here I want to select the color. Already have a lot of colors here, but here I need to choose those branch fry colors. I select the color and here I can use the dark values like this and I had to ask more dark value. This could be the better one. Here I select both shapes, the top and bottom, and I select the color from the fries. I select again, I pick the color from the fries. In the same way, I select the color from the fries from this location. For here also, I can change the color. I select these two shapes and here also, I want to go for the light colors. I select those French fries again, and I want to select the dark with all the values for the texture elements. So in the same way, you can adjust other pages. I come to that color for the text, I change as I required. Remember, I didn't change that preparation for each. I just used the same text information. But you can change. I was provided that text information with the projects, so it can change and use according to that. Here also I want to change the color. Select the colors from this and I can select that text into light or dark. You can also choose the colors from the darker tones if you want, and here I can use the light color values as I used previously. I select again and from here, I use the light tone values. Again, I select these two pass. And I'm going to change the color now. I select this lace. After choosing this shape and that bottom shape, I want to change the color of that shapes. I want to change here. You can also choose that from the image. I come here, I choose it from the image. Remember, you need to change the color values because we have selected the light color tones. If you can change the text into dark values. 21. Canva Mock ups for Graphic Design: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can use the mockup display using Canva. In Canva, you can have the mockup view of the product. Let me show you how you can do that. Now we have created the reciVe book design. I'm going to show you how it will look as a book. To do that, I go to the elements. In elements, I come to the bottom and here we have a lot of categories. With this category, at the end, you can see the option called Mockups. Here I click this option Mockups. When I click Mk it shows you different categories. I show you the smartphone appearance. If you created any mockup design for that mobile phone, you can use it. I too shows you the print. Can open this if you created the design for print or if you created the work for apparel or computer or frame. Based on the need, you can choose which mockup you need. Now I come to the print category because I want to see how that my recipe book have the look. Choose C. When I choose C, you can see I have different mockup appearances. I have a book appearance here, you can see that I click here once and it was added. Here they have provided you the information like, how do you need to add that content inside the mockup appearance? Here it's a mockup and I want to add the image here. So I already exported the page of my recipe book design. It's available with the upload. I just click here, so it was loaded. Now I just drag and wrap over this frame. So that picture will be added as a wrapper of this particular design, and this is how that book will look with a mockup. This is the easy way, you can show that to the client if you want. Now again, I go to the elements. In elements, you can see that we have two category mockups. First few elements having that mockup and here you can see there are a few other mockups also out there, which is in video form. You can also use this video mockup if you want. I'm going to choose one particular mockup. I'm going to use this one. I click here. That mockup was added here. You can see that it was added. I just trag and place as I required, and here I just expand the appearance at this corner. I just choose and trag it. I want to add the same the mockup picture inside this frame. I go to the uploads, click this, just trag and trap over this. I don't need to do anything else, just drag and trap over there. It will automatically place that picture inside this frame and you'll have the mockup of that work. It was adding just wait. You'll have the preview of that work. So it was added now. I can set the dimension of this video as I required. I can either set from star trend or the full frame. Now I just play this video. You can see that. This is how it has the look. So based on the need, you can choose what kind of mockup you require, whether you required the static form of mockup or in this video for markup. You can choose that category on that elements. I can see that we have a lot more options here for print. You can choose whichever is preferable for you here, you see that it have the different books appearances. I can set either one. You can see this looks good too. So you can use that markup. You can just add the image to, you know, the wrapper page on that mockup design, and you'll get the final output of the mockup using Canva. 22. Using Canva’s Color Palettes: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can use the color palette inside Canva. In our previous lessons, we use the colors, but here I'm going to give you a complete picture about the color usage. We use colors in a different way. First thing, I can use the color for the background. I click the background so that I can access this option, which is background color. I click here and here you can see that it has the document color, which means the colors which is right now present with the document. You can see that I have orange, black and white is the background color. Can directly access those colors from this particular place which is document colors. Below that, I have a brand kid color values. I will show you that in our upcoming lesson. Thereafter, I have default solid colors. Those are the default colors we have with Canva. We can directly utilize those color values. I just click this place to change the color of this object. You can see that I can click, I can change the color I was selected with that object. This is how we use this option, which is default colors. After that, I have a default gradient colors. I can also use the gradient colors for the objects, not just the solid colors. Here I can choose a CO to see all those colors, the default solid colors available, and here I can choose a C to all gradient colors which is available with the canva. I can use all those options I acquired. I can also edit those colors. I will show you how we can do that. Now I choose a solid color here, and if I want to change the color, you have to choose this add color option. You have the plus icon here, choose this add a new color. And here we have that solid color value. You can change the color here first. So it's a color wheel in a linear direction. I can choose what kind of category I require, and I can choose what kind of shade I required this area. If you want to choose the color from that design itself, you can use this pick color option. And if you want to add the gradient color, here at this place after the solid color, I choose this gradient button, the gradient color was applied. Now I can change the colors if I want. I can choose the particular color value here. I click there so that I can get the color quicker. Here I can just trag and change the value of the color. It was applied. Now, if I want to add multiple colors more than two colors, I click this place and here I can change the color I required. You can see that I was added three colors and here I'm going to add the fourth color, so you can add colors as you required using these gradient colors option. Below that it has a si like linear or linear on 80 and we have diagonal linear and we have radial and the partial radial values. Based on the need, you can choose which style you required. You can also remove that particular color, just scroll over that and choose this option delete color. That particular value will be removed. This is how you can set either solid color or gradient color using this options. You can select the kind of color you required. This is how we fill color for the shape. For the text, I use the same way I select the text, and at the top, I choose this option text color. I choose this text color, and here I'm going to choose the same way I used the text. I select that particular gradient. I can apply the gradient for my text also. And if I want solid color, I can use the solid color. And this is how we use the color panel in Canva. You can use for text as well as the shapes. 23. Brand Kits in Canva: In this lesson, I'm going to show you what is brand kit, how you can use the brand kit for your design. To show that I come to this left hand side, here I have a separate option for that, which is brand. I click here. So this is not the normal option. The most of the features with the brand is used for only the pro account uses or education account uses. Now a few options with that brand also useful for the free accord users, let me show you that. In this brand, I can set my brand sets like colors, text, and the logo I used for my particular brand and I can use the same styles all over the design I acquired. So to use this, I come to this place and here you can see that it shows me the brand kit option. I not yet created anything, and if I want to create something, I had to click this option, which is create new brand. Since I don't have the Pro account, I was not going to create that. And here you can upload your logo. Here, it shows you the guidelines of that. Here you can mention the colors you acquired for, you know, um, that brand. Like, I just click here and you can see that that colors I was used in my brand was automatically applied with the design. I can also shovel the colors here. Just click here one more time. You can see that. This is how that shuffle the color value of my brand. Those colors I was used for my brand will automatically apply the font I was uploaded, the voice, if I was added with that and the photos I was used in my brand, the graphics, the icons, the charts, all the things I can upload and you can save with this brand. Wherever you create the design, you can simply come to the brand and you can apply that particular style to the design as I was applied the colors for this. This is how you do this work. Now I just choose the color option. Here you can see that we have the color palette of the brand. I just select the particular color value here and I can change the color if I have the pro account like that. If you have a pro account, effectively use those options. And if you don't have the pro con, you cannot use this band value, but this is how it works. We can set all those values. And whenever you started a new design, you can simply click, this brand option to apply the text, logos and the colors within that design itself. 24. Copy the Elements Styles in Canva: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can copy the style of the particular object in Canva. The object can be the shape or text or whatever it is. Let us see how to do. Here I have the two elements, the text and the shape. At the bottom also, you can see that I have the text and the shape. Now I want to copy this particular element style and I want to paste here. You just imagine I have some different font style here, not the same font style I have for the text title. I need the same style from this particular title and I want to play with this text. I need the size, that color, the style I was added for this particular style. How can I do that? I just want to select the element first and I come to this place called P style and to have the shortcut Control C, or if you use a MAC, you can use Command OTC. I click once, so that style was coplte and I want to select where I want to aplay. Here I want to apply that, so I come to this place. You can see that it shows you the icon of copy style. I click once. That particular style was perfectly applied. Since here we have the text with multiple characters, it shows me like that. I can scroll and I can adjust the text in that way. This is how it simply copy and the paste exact style of that element. I can use this for the shapes also. I choose this shape. I use this copy style, and I click here so that it copies that particular style, the color of that object. It doesn't change the shape, but it copy the style. I'm going to choose the stroke, and I'm going to use the different style with that and I want to change the stroke color into something yellowish. Now I choose the same object, click the copy style, and I click here, you can see that we can copy and paste the same information of that particular attribute. This is how we use copy style option in Canva to do the quick changes on the remaining elements. 25. Adding Illustrations inside the Design: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can use the illustrations in Canva. So the Canva itself have a lot of illustrations and the millions of illustrations. You can directly use it from the Canva elements. First, I just create my page. So here I was having the frame and I have the text, which is the big of life. I come to the elements. In elements, I just clear that search, and at the bottom, you can see that I have a lot of options. Here I have a lot of illustrations with this category, which is graphics. I can choose what kind of illustrations are required. I can directly utilize it from this page. Like, I'm going to give that name which is live. And I press Enter. It provides you a lot of illustrations about life. You can see that and I can mention just click here to load it, it was loaded. But I was not moving that further. It was simply added, and I can use the same term with background. It will load a lot of elements here. I just need to use the term life background. But instead of that, I was used only that background. It provides me that information, but it was not enough for this design. I just delete this and I come here and I choose the key life background. I notes me the different forms of life. I just need that background, that keyword, and I'm going to set up with whichever the one suits for me. I can also use the graphics, um, so I just, um, you want to add inside this frame so that it's easy to adjust that frame. I click here and I just drag and drop. It was added there, and I can just expand the shape as required. And those illustrations are many out there. I can, um choose based on the need. I can also select some different, uh, abstract backgrounds like this if I want that two suits for this background. And I can change the color of the text information as I required from this picture. So this is how we select that information, and we can completely utilize the illustrations from the Canva elements. We have huge amount of graphics with that. We can use all those things, and, you know, all those things are really helpful for us to create that background as well as the foreground graphics inside Canva. 26. Working with Crop and Filters: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can use the crop and filter options in Canva. First, I'm going to show you how we can use the crop option in Canva. To use that, I choose the image. And after choosing that image on the menu, you can see we have the option here, which is crop. I click that option crop I choose the crop option. On left hand side, it shows you the option, which is having the free form original one It one, you have the different aspect ratios inside. You can just go and click that option so that it will automatically crop with the center point. Based on the need, you can choose whether it was right or not. You can also adjust the particular point if you want. If you want exact aspect ratio with this, you can use this option, which is the crop. You can also choose one aspect ratio if you want, and the original will give you the original appearance. Now, we choose the free form. After choosing the free form, you can adjust manually. You can come to the edges and you can adjust as you required. That's why we have the option form. And if you want to rotate, when you do that, you can use this rotate option. Without showing the pictures edge, it will rotate the picture. Based on the need, you can rotate. How do you want that picture? These are the options available with this crop field. I choose the original so that I'll have the exact original aspect ratio. If you want the adjustment, you can choose o that cropping will be applied. If you don't need adjusts Control Z so that you'll get back the original picture. This is how you use this option which is crop and let me show you how to use the filters in Canva. When I choose the picture, you can see that it shows the colors here. I detect the colors based on the image processing. Here itself, if I want to do some changes with the color, I can do that and that definitely have the impact with the picture. You can see how that affect the picture on that particular. I can either directly change here with this option. I can also change the first color here, which is mostly occupied with a cloud. You can see how it affects that particular design. So I can either directly change here or I can use the option called filters, which is available with the edit option. In edit, I have all those features. You can see that. We have the filters here, I choose C. So here I have Vasco flint. All those filters are directly available. So you don't need to adjust step by step. The single click will get that tone and you can go and complete the work. You can see all those pictures which is available with a cool appearance. And those things are really wonderful here we have a warm tone colors. Based on the need, you can choose which one you want. We have vivid colors here using these filters, soft colors and vintage look of the picture in a one click. All those things are possible with the filters. We have a mono color tone and you can also choose with a different gray scale values. If you need some color values inside that design with Pop, you can use this filter also. This is intensity based adjustment we can do. If you don't need to add anything, you can simply click this option and at the first. These are the options, filters and crops. We use both for image adjustments av. Based on that work we required, we can use it. 27. AI Image Generator in Canva – Magic Media: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can generate your A image using Canva. Canva itself have a lot of images I shows you in our previous lessons, but you can generate your images also with free account inside the Canva. Let me show you how you can generate that. To generate the images, I come to the elements. In elements, we can see the option here. I just click the elements. And here it shows you the option, which is generate images. I click here, it shows you the option which is generate code. So using this generate images option, I can mention what kind of image I required. So here I need to mention the kind of image I required. So I'm going to mention that food or pizza. If I didn't have enough amount of designs with the particular images category I come here photos. Here I'm going to mention that same keyword pizza. I will have a lot of pizza, but you can see that most of them are paid. If I want a free pizza and some pizza slices or something like that, I can use this AI. I use pizza slice, the keyword and here I'm going to choose option generate images. I think it will provide you four different results, you can use all four if you want also. It takes a few seconds only, and it will provide you the results. You can see that this is how that generate the isas, I can just click one click to load inside my design. It was loaded. You can see that that design looks really good. I'm going to mention that one pizza with many slices. I can also mention that with six slices. I'm going to mention the pizza I will again, search, but I just generate that. It will generate based on the prompt you have given and it creates the four results. You can utilize whichever is suitable for your design. I just click the second one because that looks like they are going to serve the pizza, but it has all the slices and one slices are above. You can see that the pizza was sliced. And I have a complete pizza. You can also see that image quality. It was fantastic and I had a very good texture over the pizza. This is how you can generate your pizza using AI. You can generate any image using AI and you have very good detailed picture in Canva. 28. Project: Story Book Design: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can create a storybook using Canva. With the Canva, we can create a storybook. Let me show you how you can create that with the help of feature in Canva. In Canva, I was created a new document. It has four pages. You can see that. In the same way, you can have multiple pages like eight or 12 or 16. But here I just have only four pages. This will be the first page. I will have the rapper design of the story and for pages, you will have the story information. At last page you'll have information about the publication and other things. So you may extend the two pages into four or 68 for the story based on the content. Here I'm going to create a simple story. I'm going to use only the four pages. I come to the first page. In first page, I'm going to have only the title and the story image. But the story image, I want to add a frame. So I just choose the frame element on this and I just click here so that I will have the element here. I just spread here and I want to join that with the page. So after adding that, I want to do the remaining things. I just adjust that. So after adjusting this, I want to come to the second page. In second page, I want to do that layout design, and the story begins here on the second page. In third page, it will continue and fourth page, you'll have the wrapper, the outer. In second page, I'll show you the picture of the story since it's a storybook, I'll show the picture of the story and I too need that design there. So I come to the frames. You can see that we had different frames here. I can use whatever the frame I required for the design. So here I choose this particular frame. And I'm going to use this frame here and it will represent my picture of that story. You have other frames here like this. You can also use those frames if it requires. You can see that we have huge amount of frames out there and sometimes simply you intend to use that shapes like this is also good. So as you acquired with that book, you can just click there and you can just spread that frame dimension and you can use it. I just read and I just want to move and I place as I require. This is where the story starts and you can see that I need the story on both pages, not only in this page, here it begins and here it ends. I copy this same frame. I come to the page and here also I paste that. So I copy and paste on the same page. But here, this is where it ends. In between, I need to provide the story information, and this is the first page of that, you know, book. I will have the major wrapper, picture. And in the last page, you'll have some publication information, something like that. So I just add some background color. So I choose the green and I want to make it dark. It looks so bright. Anyway, it will look darker in print, but I want to change the value there. So when I select that stage, I come to the fill color here I want to change the color into a bit torque. This is how I need to maintain the color for the wrapper. Here, this is the inner page. Based on that store replacement, I'm going to do the remaining things. After I did all those works, I want to place the images. In Canva, here I'm going to generate the images. I'm going to generate with A features. I'll explain what are all the A features we have here to generate images Canva. Start with these elements. In elements, you have generate images option, which is one of the A feature, you can generate images using this. Here, you have to select the category. For example, I choose photos. If I want to generate the photos, I can choose photos and I can generate the images here. Or if I want to generate in general, I can use this option, which is generate images. It clearly shows you describe what kind of, you know, things you want. So if you want graphics, you can go further and if you want photographs, you can go further. And here I'm going to mention what I required. So that's how, you know, we select that feature here. And here I need to mention what kind of content I require. I just have the story here in my Canva document. This is a story with the title. You can see the title and it's about that rays of turtle and rabbit. The till the turtle and the hopper was a rabbit and the story is there and have the moral of the story. I just want to place this information there and this is the title of that particular text. So here I need to mention what is the image I was acquired and I need the turtle and raising cartoon image. I just copy this and I come to this mecanva here I'm going to mention turtle and rabbit raise cartoon image. This is what I need, and I need two images. First one, the race begin and second image, that turtle win the race. The router and rabbits race cartoon image, raced I was provided information and I choose Sumit. When I choose SMID it will generate the image. I choose this option generate. I chose generate and it generates the images. You can see at a time it generates four images, you can choose which image is relevant to what design. Here you can see that I have four images. Whichever you think it looks like a cartroony and based on the need, you can choose I was using only free account. As I said, I didn't use any paid account. You can use this A feature for a few times. I add this picture. And this picture will be on the page two. I just trag and place inside this. I can also use one of the picture on the wrapper design. I come here and I just click this picture. This looks good. I can just drag and trap so that it will be added with wrapper design. Or I can also use this one. This two looks good. Based on the need, you are going to decide which picture you want. Here you can see that it's not easy to, you know, um, select the picture. It has two as well as three D ctonimage. You can mention what kind of image you require. You do have the orientation here. You can see that. I can choose vertical or horizontal. I choose vertical now and you get all the images the vertical format and there are a few issues out there if you use this option to generate images. Instead of this, I have another way to generate AA images with Canva. To do that on your left hand side, I choose the option called magic Media. You can see this option here, which is present, magic media. Click here. So when I click there, it shows you different options out there. So you can generate the image, graphics, Video or three D, whichever you require. I choose image because right now I need the image. So here I can paste that information and I can generate the images. Here I'm going to mention that I was mentioned what I require. After you mentioned that I can also choose the other information. I'm going to mention a few more things. After given that information, I can choose square or landscape or portrait, whichever I require. I can also choose the style. Here I choose the style and I can mention what kind of things I required. Since I already informed that I was required a cartoon, that's enough or here itself, I can choose what I require. Here I'm going to choose this playful. And here I'm going to choose this option, generate images. You'll exactly get what kind of thing you required. It was generating the images as I requested. So it was generated four images. You can see that and I can select whichever I required. Since I was choose the playful, it is out there. Anyway, I just add a few images quick manner. After adding that, I just close this playful. I don't need that because I already used the two D cartoon form and I want to generate again. I chose generate again. It will generate that design again. Let us see how it has a look. It was generating here you can see that it looks better, much better as I required for the story. I add all four pictures, which is highly required for me. Since it was in a landscape mode for my book, wrapper, I need a portrait mode one. I choose portrait and I generate again so that I can use that image on my wrapper design for the front page or the back cover. It was again, generating the images. Can see how it was and here I'm going to select the second one looks much better and this one is also looks. This is how I generate those images. Now I need the second image, which is, you know, that race is getting finished. The turtle win the race. Here I'm going to generate again, but this time, I acquired in landscape more and I choose the option generate again. I generate the images I require. It was generating and you can see that it was generated those images. Now I select which one I want. It was loaded a lot of images. You can see that. I was added and I got all the images I required, and now I want to work with this content here. I go to the first page and here I want to select the images I'm going to use. Going to use this picture, I just cut this and I want to use that on the wrapper. I just paste that here. Here I'm going to use it. Let me open the other images also. This is where the race is getting finished and I'm going to use that picture on third page. You can see that this turtle was clearly in front here, again, I want to replace the image. I delete the image alone and I just want to add the picture shows the race is started. I can use some other image. Which is showing that as is starter. All those images I was added using this, um, a generator feature will be added in this uploaded also and it will be available with the elements. All those things will be available with upload. But unfortunately, it's not out there. Again, I was given unto I want to use this picture for the background, as I said, I just want to give redo again. I just delete this picture and here I want to use this picture for the background was used, and I delete this picture again. I use this sitter first and here you can see that the rabbit was in front, not the toto. This is how we place the images after generating using Canva AI. For the last page, I just zoom in. I select the picture and I want to adjust that. I adjust this I want to set this as a background image. I just right click over the picture and I want to set that replace background. The background will be replaced with the picture I select the picture and I double click. After I double click, I can just edit the picture position which is with the background. Again, that's the picture here I just we click and I choose replace the background. So I just double click and I adjust and I place exactly where I need the image. After choosing that, I just choose the option done and here I want to choose the picture and I want to reduce the opacity. I come here and I want to choose this option and here I adj the transparency value. I just reduce and this is what I required. Here I just want to add the background, so I'm going to use the colors. I use the background color, and here I want to add the color I required. So before that, I want to add the background I required. I come to the elements and here I'm going to mention that cartoon background. I just type Carton forest. I'll find all the elements which is available with cartoon forest graphics as well as the photos. But I need the graphics, these things because the graphics helps me to add the vector shapes, which will be highly useful for me. I just search for the cartoon forest. Here I'm going to use the cartoon backgrounds for this design. I'm going to use these kind of backgrounds from graphics. And also I'm going to use that with a little bit amount of transparent value. I to have the colors like this that the background like this will highly help us to create the beautiful backgrounds. And here I choose the background color and I want to change the background color, I choose the dark value or bright value. Based on the need, I'm going to choose it. I'm going to mention the color I require. And the same color I'm going to use here also. I choose the background color again and I want to operate the same color here also. Now, after adding that here also, I just copy and place the same element. It shows the landscape of that place. Apart from that, I can use some textures on the background if I want. This is how I add some details and I can reduce the transparency value here because I want to mention the text information is out there. Here also I just reduce the transparency value and just according to that. After I did all those works, I want to do the mining things. I want to add the text information. I'm going to start with the first page. Here I want to add the title, I just type the heading text and I just move and place here. Here I want to add the title and I want to copy the title from this frame and here I want to mention that this is the title. I can see that this is the titil. It was and here I can select the right font style to mention how I need the title. I just want to select the very first text. Control X. I select this salon and cut it. And here I want to paste it. I need this text alone in a different style. I'm going to select, how do I need that style? And this text in a different style, not in this dalgment but this style. Here I just expand the appearance of the picture this area. I'm going to use the upper area for the title. Here I want to choose that style I required. As I said, I'm going to use the different font style, which is having the cartonic look, not the formal font style I required. I just need some cartonic look. Something looks more fantastic look, I can either use a handwriting or display will have the better fonts. I can choose something like this. I can also adjust the line spacing after selecting the right font. I need a condensed font so that the text will be arranged in a proper manner. I choose that as I require Okay. I choose this hangout. This looks something unique, but it's not readable. I don't need this. I may try this kitten. This looks good. Now I want to change the line space and I want to change the text size also. I reduce the font size and I want to add this also here for this also, I need a different font style. I want to select something unique. I can use the same thing, Kitchen. And I want to select the text. I go for FX. Here I want to choose a curve. So it'll curve shape like this. And for the upper text also, I'm going to use the same option which is curve. So I choose curve, you'll have a curve structure like this. So this looks good, and I just edges replace how I require. I select both text and I want to move up a little bit. Here I want to add one gradient color. So I come here and I'm going to mention the gradient. You can see that I was having a gradient. I use graphics first, so I just need to edit the gradient colors also. I'm going to use any one gradient first. I'm going to use one gradient value. I start with this. It was added and I can change the color of the gradient here. I opened this place and here, I'm going to change the color. I can mention whatever the color I required for this. I use the green, which is the dark green. Now I go to this position. In position, I'm going to choose this rotate. In rotate, I want to select OIT. So this will turn on 80 degree, and now I want to move and place where I required. This is where I required, and I select the corner of this and I want to adjust that. This is how I need. I want to send this back, so I just send and I want to select that text, the turtle and raise I can adjust the color now. I choose that into white. Later I can change when it requires. The same where I select the gradient again. I adjust the height as a request. If I want, I can reduce the transparency also. I choose this place and reduce the transparency as required. After that, I select the text again. I choose both formations and I can also set the different styles other than this. Further, again, I go to the et. In FX, I have a lot more options out there. I can set the hollow text if I want, or I can set the flies, so I'll have the color behind that. I can adjust the color what I require. I want to choose the light green for the background. You can select something like this and for the fond text, I can select something lighter or darker. You can see that how I'm going to do the change. I'm going to select this dark green. After choosing that, this is how the title have the look. If you look it to dark, I select this, add a color, and here I'm going to select the yellow and after choosing that, I select that yellow. Either you can use a light or dark color, it's based on the need you can choose. This is how you decide what kind of text you required for the title. After adding that text effects, I was just remove that slice. I was just added that shade and I was added a little bit color value changes out there. Now after that, I just ubliate that gradient which I was added at the top of the first page, control D and I reduce the height I just want to aches as I requires. I want to rotate this again. I go to the position and here I choose this Oit into zero this should be here. I use my mouse. When I use the mouse that disturbs that frame where I have the turtle as well as that rabbit. Here I move and place using this mouse on outside. After adding that, I just zoom in and I said that I change the position using the keyboard. Now I don't have any issue with that. I exactly place where it requires. So now if I want, I can adjust that particular transparency value as well as the height of the shape. I can go for this flip or I can go for this transparency settings. Here it's 92. I can set that into 100, you'll have the appearance like this. At the bottom, if you want to add that author name, you can add it. I can also move this down a little bit if I want. I was again given do because that was added inside that frame. Again, I choose the shape and I want to set the value. I choose the transparency and I set the value to 100%. I select that and I'm going to adjust using my keyboard. I move down as a required. So this is how you said the very first page. Then I come to the second page, and here I choose this picture. I want to add the stroke for this picture. So I come here and I choose this stroke style. Here I choose the stroke option. After I enable this stroke option, you'll have the default value for. This is fine right now, and I come to this color of the stroke, and I'm going to select the green. Since I have already that light green background, I'm going to use the mid done or a little bit dark green for the stroke. I need the same style for the next page, picture also. So I just select this option which is copy style. So after choosing this copy style, I come down and I click with this picture, so that style will be copy and paste. Now, I just want to add the text information here. After the title, I want to add the remaining text also. When you do the work, if those elements disturbs you, you can lock that. To do that, you can select that element and here you can see that it shows the properties of that information and I just choose that log button so that it will not get disturbed. I use the same way here also. I choose that object and I choose this log so that will be locked. This is how I log both backgrounds. Want to add the story here. To add the story, I come to the second page, and I go to my Google Docs. I document, I want to copy the characters detail and I want to copy the story. First I copy the character details. I just select those informations. I copy that, I come to this design. Here I want to add the text box, I press T, and I paste that information. So you can see that previously I was selected the style with the text style that content was past. Now I want to disable that unorder list and I want to set the alignment into left. I don't need a right alignment. This is how I need alignment and I need normal text, which is readable for kids. I don't need these display fonts. I just need a Canvas suns, which is one of the best to font will have the easy readable information, or you can use this kind of fonts also like the DM science and the global interface. Those two have really good readability. Here I was placed that character's detail and I can make it bold if it requires. For example, I have the character's name here. You can see that. I can just align in a first order and I choose the text and I make it bold. I do that same thing for the remaining text also. So after did that with Tilly, I do that with that I'm going to do with pap and I'm going to do with foxy. All the characters are placed here. Now, after that, I want to place the remaining story information. I have the left alignment and I have the normal text. I don't have any bold text, and here I'm going to choose in a sunny forest full of giggles. From here, I just copy the story and till this, I copy that information and here I want to paste. So this is how I just raise the story information. And here I want to adjust that value. If you want to keep that picture in a bigger size, you can use the frame as you required. Right now, I was used this frame. As you required, you can use the kind of frame which is providing the enough amount of visibility to your story. You can adjust as you required and you can place as you required. I was placed and after that, I go to the second page. In second page, I just duplicate the same paragraph text. I just press tiki and drag and drop. From here, I just copy that same information from here to here, copy that, and here I want to paste that. I was pasted, and here also I want to adjust the frame as it requires. This is how I adjust the frames as I require and we have placed the text information also. Remember, we need to maintain the proper margin for the text information, which is good for printing purpose. I was placed the text information without any issue and I was placed the images also. At the wrapper, I'm going to add the moral of the story. I just copy that. I just drag and drop the same paragraph text which was added on page two. I just resolve the Atiky and drag and drop. So it will be duplicator here too. Now here I just page that moral of the story. I want to select this alone and I make it bold. Here I can make this text into bright value. For that, I select the picture, the background picture again after choosing that, I want to set the transparency value picture. I choose this transparency right now, it was 28 and I adjust further. So this is how slightly I need that picture visibility, and I choose this picture that story model. I just make it bigger, and here I want to select the text color into light. I can use white or this kind of light color. And after choosing that, I want to select that text information. And here I want to use the white. So that's how I was used, and I aligned that into center. So you can place the remaining contact information at the bottom with the rectangle shapes within the boundary. So this is how you create a storybook using Canva. It's easy. You can simply create any number of pages as you're required. Right now, I was used only two pages for the story. You can see that I used first page and last page and two pages. But when you do the design, if you have, you know, the larger story, you can use multiple pages, and it will be best thing to create storybook with Canva design. 29. Print with Canva: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can use the print option with Canva. Canva itself provides you the printing function. You can print your own design through Canva website and you will receive the printed copies in your address. Let me show you how you can do that. To print your design, first, you have to come to this place. On your top of the side handside you can see that we have the option called print with Canva. And if you don't have this, it doesn't matter. You can come to the share option. In share, you'll have the option which is print with Canva. You can see that it present after the download option. I choose that option here, print with Canva. I click. When I choose that, it shows you that front page design and the back page design also. Right now I choose only front page design. It shows you with a mockup design, and if you have the back page, you can have the two pages and both pages will show here. In this document, I have only one page. If I have the second page, it will function as the back page and you can select the paper quality. It shows you the GSM value here, and if you need more thick paper, you can go for this premium paper. If you want more, you can go for this deluxe paper, and I choose the standard paper right now. After that, it shows you the paper finish which you required, either a matte finish or glossy. Right now, you can see, I just scroll app. I was choose that standard print and at the bottom, it shows the subtotal cost. I choose this Jublex paper. When I choose that the cost is increased. You can see that for standard pepper, it shows you the lower cost for the matte finish and the glossy and that uncoated finish, for all those things, we have different cost. And this is for 100 fliers. You can see that the number of flyers they have providing you, which is 100 for 2,125. Here, this is the air force size, we know that if I want only, the lower number of prices, and I need only lower number of fliers, I can go for less flyers, but you can go for the normal one you require I just need 25 flyers means, it will cost only 800 rubies. 50 flyers, I need only 1,250. Based on the count, you can choose what you require. When I choose 1,000, it was cost around 18,000. Based on the need, you can choose what you require and it provides free delivery. No I choose continue after date, all those things. And here I want verify whether the design looks good or not. So all those things will happen here. And if I complete the process, I want to choose this checkout, so it will drag me into the next page. So I had to pay the amount by filling the details of that payment process and address so this is how you do use this Canva print option. You can mention all that, you know, the address for the delivery, and you can select the payment process. You can just pay, and you'll exactly get the same kind of print for that particular design in your address. So this is how we use this option, print in Canva to do the direct printing process. 30. Creating Magazine Layouts with Canva Grids and Frames: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can use grids to create magazine design using Canva. In this lesson, particularly, I'm going to focus how you can manage that column creation using grids. Let us start with a new document. I come to this create and here I'm going to choose printable. In printable, I'm going to type the keyword which is magazine. Auto type ever magazine, I choose AFO. At first, I can have only one page so I can duplicate further. Right now, when I create a magazine, you can see that it have multiple outlines here. Now I come to this place file, I choose settings. In settings, it shows you the options. It shows the margin and print bleed. I just disable the print pad and you can see that that outer line was gone. That always shows you what was the bleed margin of the page. For example, I come to the elements and I choose the photos. I want to add only one photo right now here. I just add this photo. Just move that behind that boundary. It shows you what will be the edge of the particular design. But when I enable this bleed, you can see that it shows me which will be the exact outline bleed for that design. It shows that outer layer which may print, but you may lost that area also. That area is present there and if you want, you can enable that otherwise, you can disable. Here it shows you the margin also available there. If you want, you can show otherwise you can disable that. That's how it has the structure and there is showing ruler or guides. You can see that. We have the rulers on vertical as well as horizontal lines. Can use it to measure what's the starting point, what will be the object size, which is available on the page. You can also generate the guidelines using those options. That's how we use. Now I just delete this picture and I just remove those highlights. I don't need the highlights, so I just drag and drop over there, and I just hide that rulers too. Here it's a magazine, so I want to add multiple columns. Just imagine I need a three column for this magazine design. So for three column magazine, I need to create that grid view of three column appearance. To create that, I come to this file menu. I come to the settings. Here I have option which is add guides. I click here. When I click there, it shows you the options here, which shows how many columns you require. It shows 12 columns here. I can choose three columns if I want, and I can choose three by three, which means the vertical three columns as well as the horizontal three columns. See here, I just click here, so I got three more horizontal columns here. You can create based on the need you have. Right now I choose only three columns. If you have multiple need I need a two columns or I need to customize that column assignment, I can use this option, which is custom. I click Custom and it shows you the columns and rows. I just change that into two columns and you can see that we have only one, two columns. Here I have a gap, so I can set the gap value here in centimeter. I'm going to set that in 2.2. The gap was reduced. You can see that. I increase that 2.5 or 1 centimeter, which is based on your need you are going to mention. Here I have a margin, I just give a one. I got that vertical margin into 1 centimeter. Same way if you want to adjust that row, if I need row column, the rows, I can use this option like one or two or three and you can see that result is there. Here also you can mention the gap what you require and the margin of that. But most of them we don't use that. If you don't use, you can simply put zero and you'll have a structure like this. If you need only two columns in your design, you can go for this, or if you need three, you can go for three column appearance and you can reduce that space between the gap like 0.5, which is enough so that you can deliver enough content over the columns. This is how we decide that magazine's column appearance based on the need, you are going to decide how do you want. 31. Designing Magazine Cover Pages: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can create that front page of the magazine. In our previous lessons, also, it shows you how you can create a simple appearance. But here I'm going to show you how you can do with a depth and doing the image editing works. For this, I'm going to use that educational version work because I want to show you that image of this Canva work. So here in our previous class, I shows you how we can add this grid view. Now, I just want to add the grid and I just want to change that into two grids instead of three. Now, if I add new pages, it to add those grids on those pages, you can see that. If I disable that using the file and settings, it to disable those grids on all pages. I don't need to hide on any page right now. This is the first page and I want to add that wrapper design for the magazine. First, I want to add the title and I want to add the model image. To get that, I go to the elements, and in elements, I want to choose the category which is photos because in photos category, I will have those models picture, so I choose photos. And here I'm going to mention that fashion model. And I press Enter. I search those images I required and I can add that for this rapper design. Remember, this fashion model picture will be the primary element of my design. Since I was using the educational mode, it shows me that the educational icon here, I can use it for those design works. I can directly add it for this page design. And when I use the free, I'll have these images access, not everything. So if you have the pro account or educational account, you can access more images than the free account. Here I want to add only one picture. I'm going to use this one. I just click and it was added inside the design. After that, I just expand and I place how I want. And I can do the remaining works. I just want to add the title also. I go to the text and here I'm going to scroll down. Here I will have a lot of presets. I can either use one directly from this. I'm going to use this one, Ida hub, which is completely free. I just click there that was added inside the design. Now I can select it and I can edit as I require. That's why I was added there. If you want some other text also, you can add we have so many texts out there. We have this text stack or new project. Whichever the work you required, you can simply add, you can use it. Now I just track it and I just want to ungroup that and I just delete that unwanted segment. Here I select that and I set the alignment into center, and here I want to give a name. I just use the term thymine and I place at the center. Now I just increase the font size. You can see that I generate the much bigger text using this increase font. That's how I increase it. And I place the title here. Now, if you want, you can use that or if you think you need more font, you can come here and you can choose which font style you required because the canva have a lot of font styles. You can choose which font you require. Now, if it is fine, yeah, it's enough. I just select that text. I can change the color as I require. I can either use the color from that picture. I select that color picker and I can choose that from picture. After changing the title shape, I choose the picture and I choose this option BG remover. So when I choose this BG remover, it process the background and you can see that it was completely removed that background. Now I select that picture and I bring it front using this layer and I choose bring forward. So you can place, how do you want that picture in front of that text? You can also set the background color. If I need a solid background color, I can just click and I can choose the background color. I can use any one solid background like this. Or if I need some color with a gradient, I had to go to the add color, choose gradient. Here I'm going to choose this circular gradient and I can adjust the colors required use the same color here, but here I want to make this color into dark. Based on that look you required, you can change the color and here I want to change the text color I used to change as required. I'm going to use it from that skin tone. That's how you just remove that particular background from the picture. You can also expand up to this if you're required and set like this. This is how we create that depth based, the rapper design, which is having the title behind the picture. This is how you can create that simple work as it requires. You can add further text information on this first page of this magazine design. Remember, we can use this only when you have the pro account or educational account. Without that, it's not easy and you have to go for the apps. We have the free apps out there. Here I can use the term which is background remover or background eraser, just type the keyword. And here I can use it. I have multiple apps here. I can use this background eras or change the background or background cleaner. Those apps helps me to remove that background from the picture. This is how I use to remove the background from the picture and create this wrapper design for the magazine using Canva. 32. Table of Contents in Canva: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can create the table content for this magazine. I already shows you how you can create the table of content manually using this Canva. Let me show you how you can create using this magazine design. To create that, I come to the second page. In my second page, after choosing that page, I come to the design. In design, you have a lot of templates regarding that magazine design, and here I just give the keyword which is TOC that cannot able to understand there. I'm going to mention that table of content. I choose that keyword of content and presenter here, it still shows me only that first page designs. To access that, I go to the Google here after to Google. Here I'm going to mention that table of content, and I'm going to give another keyword which is Canva. I choose here I just gave this term table of content Canva, I press Enter. When I use this term, here you can see that it shows me the options, which is having the separate link with Canva, which is create a table of content. I click here, so that will take me to this page which is table of contents. So it has huge number of templates. You don't need to, you know, design from the scratch. You can directly import the content from the Canva. So to access that, I use this option, which is start a table of content. So I just click there. So when I click that, it will open a separate page for me, the blank page, which is come under the category which is table of contents. So it load here, that default blank document. Here in templates, you'll have millions of templates. You can use that and you can complete the work. I come to this file menu. When I come to this file Mnucul it shows you what kind of work it is and what's the dimension we have for that. So in design category in templates, you have a lot of different table of contents. You can select which one you want. For example, these are the free, you know, table of contents you can directly access or if you want the pro or educational account that designs, you can access that using Canva. Like I'm going to use any one design from here. I'm going to use one. This one. When I click that, I can load it here and after loading it, I just copy this with Control C, and I come to my magazine here and I'm going to paste it and I press Control B. I just copy that content from magazine there and here I want to paste that. It was pasted and I just remove that unwanted segment, or if I want to use my logo, I can use it there. Here also, I just remove that information. Here you can edit that page number as you required that content what you have inside. You can also edit the subcategories which is available inside that particular page. You can change the page numbers according to that information present on that particular magazine. If you want to increase that number of content, you can increase. I just move a little bit above and I can add more if I want. I can just duplicate that place it and I can change the number and I can also change this color of that mentioned one as it requires. I can also, this both looks same in color. So I just want to add another color here also I can change the text information. This is how you can simply collect that table of content from this. You have huge number of designs for the table of content. You can see that. We have different styles, based on the magazine theme, you can select which one you want, whether it is flat one or stylish or the educational content based one, whatever it is, based on the design you can select and you can modify it and you can use inside Canva design magazine work. 33. Find and Replace in Canva: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can use find and replace in Canva. To do that, I open a paragraph text. Here I had two column of text. After I opened that, I choose the File. Here I have a lot of options. With this, you can see that I have option which is find and replace text. You have the same shortcut, which is Control F. I can either press Control FF or that option, which is find and replace text. I click here. So when I click there, it shows you the option find. So you can use this to find the particular text content. For example, I'm going to give that name which is Industry. After I was provided, you can see that it instantly search that word in those pages, and it shows in four places I have that particular word. At first, I have here, it was highlighted entirely. You can see that thereafter I have here and I have here. And in another place, I have that option, which is the text. So I can navigate that through this particular search option. Here also I have that. Right now it shows the one. Now I click this option next search result. I move into this place. Next, I click again, I got into this place. Again, I click there, so I can move that. This is how you can use the find option. After that, if we want to replace that with another text, I can use this option replace. For example, instead of this industry, I'm going to provide that keyword which is field so that fashion field, that's how I need to replace. If I want to match that capital and loyal letters alphabets, I can use this option which is match case. Right now, I'm not going to use that. I'm just going to have a look of that option. Now after that, I choose this option, replace all. You want to replace the first information like it was sector right now, the first text, you can use this option replace. You can replace one by one till the four times. But within a click, if you want to replace all those texts, you can use this option to replace all. Now I click here and you can see that industry is gone now. I'm going to mention that field so all those industry words are replaced with the field. This is how we are using this option, this replace option and find option in Canva. Whenever you require, you can use this effectively. 34. Project: Newsletter Design: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can create a newsletter design using Canva. I'm going to use this content. The title of the newsletter is Box. It's for the school, and we have the month and the principal message and other activities what happened, what will happen for them. So all those information are presented here, and I was provided some dummy information there. Also, I was provided a close note. So here we are going to use all those content, and I'm going to use the logo for the institution and also I'm going to use more elements like images, shapes for creating newsletter design. Do that, first, I create a new document. I choose Create here I'm going to type the keyword newsletter. When I type the keyword newsletter, it shows you different options. So you can create the newsletter in portrait form. And if you want to create, you can also create a email newsletter. You can copy and utilize that for our email purpose. And you have the newsletter built in information, and we have the classroom newsletter, school newsletter, education newsletter. So we had different categories out there so that you can navigate and serve lot of designs based on the category. So I can either choose that newsletter portrait or school newsletter or education newsletter. All three things will be suitable for my concept. Here I'm going to choose the default one newsletter portrait. But if you want exactly choose that newsletter for school, you can go for that school also. Here you can access all the elements. I click here first. I create new document. And I'm going to use these text information out there. Remember this is the title of that newsletter. This is the first page, I'm going to use that title on this page. Before I use that, you can see that I have the design button on my left hand side menu. In this, I have that area which is called a design. Here it will load you a lot of templates, so you can utilize all those templates to create a different designs also. Here you'll have those newsletter designs by default, if I want to use a newsletter design, I'm going to click there once, so I can load that here. For example, I click here once. When I click there, I can load that information on my page. Just click that. It shows you it has two pages. This will be the first page and this will be the second page. It clearly shows those pages preview. The same time here it shows you that template style, the color combination, the typography, what they use. I just click here, apply both pages. When I chose apply both pages, both page layout designs will be applied. So you can see that how it beautifully added. Here I can replace the title of that particular newsletter. I can change the contact number and I can change the email ID, website, all those information including the magazine title and other all informations. By default, you got these designs. You can add further pages and you can just load the information from the previous pages and you can fill here. This is one way you can directly use the templates, and here I come back. I can also navigate through this place. You have a lot of options here, templates here. I'm going to give a keyword like college So when I typed the keyword College and presenter, I got a lot of university based designs here. All those things are newsletters, as you require, you can lure and you can effectively use. That's why we use that general if I given a keyword corporate I will get a lot of designs based on the corporate newsletter designs. So if you want the corporate style newsletter for the school content like this, you too can add it. You simply just choose that kind of, you know, template you require. Like, I'm going to choose here I see that this newsletter really looks good. I click here, and I got that particular newsletter design here. So you can basically use any design. It shows you relevant designs here and you can add with your newsletter design. But here I'm going to create from the scratch. So I just delete those pages I don't need. I have a blank page. From here, I'm going to create. So whenever you do the design work, first, you need to start with that layout design. After layer design, you can go for, you know, um, image placeholders, like you can add those shapes for embed the images. And after that, you are going to add the typography work. And finally, you are going to add the finishing enasme works. So this will be my first page. So here I want to provide that space for the title of the magazine. So to do that, I just press R so that I will get the rectangle there, or I can come to the elements, and here I can choose what shape I required. So I can choose shapes here, and from this, I can choose the shape which is rectangle. After that, I just add the shape here and here I'm going to add my title of that newsletter. Remember, this title is important, but the newsletter require a lot of information. It gain more support for the secondary informations This title is one of the primary element. After that, we are going to add secondary elements, including the lead informations. So this newsletter, you can see that it has, you know, starts with the principal message and academic highlights and other all information are out there. You can provide one major event which has happened in that institution on the very first page, which will also looks good. So now I simply just added that, you know, place for the title. And here, also, I'm going to change the color of that particular, you know, shape. And after that, I just imagine that I'm going to add a logo also for the institution here. I already added that logo and, you know, that alter uploaded with that drive. Here I have a logo. I go to the uploads. If you want to upload, you can go to the upload Ailes, you can select and you'll get that same file here. So I just click here. I got that logo. I need to place the logo where it requires. I need to place the logo here. And thereafter, I need to place the title of that newsletter design. Then apart from that, I just, you know, right now, I was displacing, planning that layout design. So I just to add a rectangle shape. And here I want to change that color. And after adding that, I want to add the principal message here. So to add the principal message, I want to use this area and I just change the color of the sheet a little bit. I don't need that complete, gray. I don't need a complete white. So I have a slight color variation here. You can see there. So I need that principle message here for the audience. And before that, if I want to, you know, decide how many columns I need, I can add the column settings also. So I go to the file settings, and here I'm going to choose the option which is show rulers and guides. So I choose show rulers and guides. It shows me that rulers and guides which will help me to add that guidelines. Now, again, I come here and here I want to add this option which is add guides. I choose three column and I can adjust the setting here. I choose three and after that, I come here, this space is enough for that newsletter content. So I just left that. So here I used the perfect shape or not yet. I was not confirmed that. So I just use ad guides, and I choose Add guides also. Then only I can add the guides for the page. Throughout this design, I'm going to use the three column. And if I need, I can customize that page appearance. So here I want to add the principal message, and below that also I have the space. I cannot use that for general news content. I'm going to use this to mention some new information about that institutions activity. And here I just rest with this area alone. So I need the proper space here. After that, I want to add more information here. I'm going to choose that option, which is frames. So frames will help me to add the image placements. So I'm going to choose that option which is elements. In elements, I'm going to use the option called the frames and a type Enter. Now I got the frames here. I choose C, and here I'm going to choose the rectangle frame. For the principal message, I want to add a picture here so I can use the principal photo here. And after that, I want to add the rest of the frames. You can use either landscape or portrait based, you know, the frame for the principal message. It's up to you. You just decide based on the information you required with this page. So after adding that, I just come to this area and here I want to add that frames which is required for the news events. I'm going to use display and here you can see that I have a margin here. I go to the file settings, it shows you whether you want to show the margin or not, and you can decide whether you require or not. And just disable that. I just want to manage myself that space, and here I just expand that area and I'm going to place the picture of that evens here. And if I require more space for the picture, I can use two columns here. From this place, I expand up to this area. So you can decide what will be that space you required for that major news item which is added inside this newsletter design. So here I'm going to add the title of that event, and I'm going to use the rest of the information below with the two columns. So that's how I want to produce and provide that information. And if I want, I can also add principal message without the picture and here I just arches and I just plan as I required. This is how I need the very first page and I want to place the further pages, add a new page. There also you have three columns and I decide what I required on those columns. Here also, I want to add few informations like after adding that uh principal message and that academic highlights on the first page on left hand side, I want to mention that campus even celebrations or students achievements and the faculty counter all those information will be provided on the further columns. I add more pages. In the last page, it can provide the information like those closing note of that magazine or the newsletter, and you can mention the upcoming events and you can also mention that innovations developments and community strength, all those informations on these pages. Based on that news availability of your institution, you can provide more information according to that events. Here I'm going to add that information about the further elements. So I want to plan a layout. I use a rectangle. And here again, you use this area for a news element. Here I'm directly using that images for informations. I add one image frame here and I'll get the news information about that even here. Here I add a space to add the title. After that, here I want to add separate information. I add a page again. I'll have the title here and the rest of information. Now I come to the third page. Int page, I'm going to present different design. I just change the color as I require. And I come here, I plan my layout. Here, I want to add this shape here and I want to use the information from this place. Here also changes the color into dot. In this place, I want to provide the news information and that I'm going to use multiple columns. I add here, I'm going to use multiple column information here also I want to use this space for news information. Here I will have one new aliment here I will have one new alimon and there I'll have a new aliment. I can add some other innovations. And this will be the last page. So it's again, based on my need, I can decide what are all the content element I required with the last page. Based on that content you have for that magazine or newsletter, you can expand that from 48 or 12 or 16 or 20. So here I'm going to use only this four pages. I'm going to use those text contents. After planned layout, here I'm going to use the final last page layout information. So I'm going to use the list informative news elements here, not that much required information. I'm going to use this space first. And I'm going to add those informations here. After that, allow me to log way around this off stage of that information and I'm going to use this space provide more information that unique informations. Here I don't need till that edge here also, I don't need till the edge. I want confirm that on the remaining pages also. I don't need till that edge Since it's a digital newsletter, it's good to have that information. Finally, here I want to add a closing note. I just copy the shape and paste here, and here I want to add a shape like this. And I want to change that into share of that gray. This is how I planned that information placement. This is how you to plan the layout design. You'll have the entire visualization with you and you deside the arrangement of that layout. After that, I want to plan the next thing, which is want to add the relevant images here. Right now, I'm going to use my Canva elements. I come here and I choose that photos. From here, I'm going to load the photos I require. So just the Kuber college. I will get all the images relevant to that college and other educational content. Here I want one picture and here I need two images, and here also I need two images. Here I need four images. So it's based on my need. I can add what required as news information. As I told you, it's just a design. We are not focusing that any admission or any other information. I'm just showing you how you can build that information. Here I want to add the institution's picture, which is the lead of this magazine. I choose the picture here and just dragon drop. Just imagine this will be at my institution photo. It shows you the complete view of the institution from ground to top of that with one point perspectu. I stroll and come here and I mentioned a few major informations. So I just want to add that picture relevant to that information and maybe it's about that graduation day. After that, I'll have that guest lectures. Add this picture to highlight and I just crop that unwanted blur area and after that, I want to add more relevant images. Here I'm searching few other images it will be better to show those informations. Here I just use the Q or college events. I will show you that academic activity, something like that. Here I'm going to mention the college events. I just use the events photos here. I had another photo here and I want to use one more photo from the college event. Choose one more picture for the college activities. I just track and draw up and here I want to add one more image. You just need a sports image. I selected and I drag through here. Iwa used that images are required for this particular design. Now, after that, I want to add the text information. I just copy that newsletter title and here I use that same text information here. But here I just add text using T and I want to paste that here. It was pasted and I just increase the size. This will be the title of this newsletter design, and I want to change that color into dark because I have a background like that. Not yet changed the color of that background, I will do that. Here I prefer the colors based on that logo only. I want to choose according to that and I have a lot of light elements, so I choose the background and I want to change the color of the background to have the better visibility of my logo. Here I have the better visibility of my logo. I'm going to use only the white. I don't need any other light colors. Here I want to change that title style. I don't need this font or this looks good. And if I prefer some other can form, that will look good. Let me check. Have a view, and when I make it bold, it looks good. No, that's not good. I try to prefer the better font for the design SGorgiaGaama. Future. Remember this is not the magazine title. You cannot use that style here. It's a newsletter and you have to remember that I'm going to use that typography from my logo. So I'm going to use future and some other font based on that will help me. I'm going to use this font I choose that text and here I'm going to choose the text color. I want to navigate that from this logo itself. So I use that from logo. You can see this how I choose the color. I don't need that title dominate this logo and other things. I should match. You should not use the colors like this that completely kills that feel. So you can either use from the color in the logo, that will be the better way. I'm going to use this one or this. That could be the better things. And I just adjust the logo a little bit, the placement. And I choose the position middle. That's how I need that design. Here I just a little bit, I reduce the height. This space is enough for the design. This is how I place that information. This will be the first page of that magazine. I have that information, college newsletter and that edition of that newsletter and add the text box, I place that. Yeah, I'm going to mention that. Replacing that, I want to change the text style. I was changed. This is how I need. I just use the right alignment for that and I want to place like this. After I place that information there, I can use the further space to add the remaining elements. Here we are going to concentrate completely the typographical work. This is the caption of the magazine and I'm going to add it here. Below that magazine. This newsletter will have those information. This is how I just place that. If you want to highlight that information or this information alone, you can also use the shapes, those things you'll do with enhancement work. Here I want to add the principal message. I just duplicate this text field. I set that into left alignment and I just copy this information. And paste here. I to duplicate that, here it will be the principal message. I want to expand that text a little bit bigger bold and here I will have the information from the principal. I just copy this and I paste here. After that, I want to adjust the column information. That's how I adjust and I can also use that that justification alignment instead of using left if you want. I just use left right now and that's how we add the information. Now, just and I want to use the photo here for the principal message. I just duplicate this frame. I just detach the image on that here I just place that frame and I want to adjust the compositions and I want to add one person photo here. I just type the keyword principle and I get it from that and I add here. I can add something like this or it can add something like this, which will be suitable for adding that landscape view. Here I'm going to mention something like um, what is important with this particular newsletter. I'm going to mention something like a I just add some text information here and I make that all into caps and just reduce the font size. So it's up to you, how do you meet that design on the first page. Here I want to add some dummy content information. I provided you some dummy text information. I just copy that which is generated from aura Ibsom here I just use this text book I just presold the Alt key and duplicate that this font size 12. I can fix the particular font size bar throughout the magazine design. Here I want to use the 11, just added a duplicator and added another one. Here I want to reduce that size of that particular option. I want to reduce with this area here also I want to reduce with this area. So I was added the page information. Now I come to the second page. As I told you, these are only dummy under informations. I'm going to use that here too, and here also I want to use. Instead of using from that, I come here and I'm going to use it here and after that, I just adjust as required. With this I want to complete, I delete those informations. Like in design, we don't have any multi column flow informations. You can only manually adjust the text informations. You do that work by manual and you can get the same result what we have with in design. And here I can mention the title if I want. Just use the title change the text information. Again, I just duplicate and just title of the event. It will be placed here. Here, I add that same because here also I will have the title of the event. And those columns are required here. I just copy that and paste here. From this case, I want to use that. Here also I need it and here also I need. Here I adjust from this here also from here, I adjust that. Finally, in this place, I want to copy from this lace and I want to paste here. And I end the information with this area. Here I need a separate text information. This will be the last page also. Here, I just duplicate and use those informations. I just vanish few non required information. I need information here. After adding that, I just delete the unwanted informations. I just adjust little bit to maintain the same column depth. After that, here, I want to add two, three paragraph informations, three events and three paragraph informations. Duplicate this information here. I also want to adjust that and from this, I just delete the information and I'm going to use this for other columns also. Finally, in this place, I want to use that last note. I just copy that. And in this, I just paste the text information and I want to make that into a little bit bigger since it's the closing note. I don't need to use that term closing note here that's not required. And here I just reduce the line spacing a little bit. I just enlarge the font size. I use the center alignment here instead of using the left alignment, I make that font into a little bold. I can change and do the further works later. Now I just copy these two informations and I place acts, it requires here, it requires here also. Just adjust the frame a little bit. That's how I manage now. Here also I need a title of the event. I do the gag and I place here. I just reduce the weight there. I'll have two lines here instead of single line. After that, here I come here. I just add the title. And here, I'm going to directly mention the information, so I don't need separate titles for that. I'm going to use separate shape for the background, so it's not required that title informations. So you set all those, you know, typography work after placed the images. I need, you know, different elements to complete this work. So I'm going to use it right now. First, I add, this shape, so I can expand this as required. Here also I use the same way and instead of choosing the slide color, I want to go a little bit slight variations. So um, you can show that difference in this way or you may go with the complete same background color or that, you know, background shape, but it's better to have some different colors out there so that it will be, um, better with, you know, the readability of that information. And it's, um, you know, not easy to use that light color text and dark color background on the first page itself, try to avoid and use only light colors. Here I'm going to use the same light color, but from that, I want to reduce the value a little more. That's how I differentiate that principle message here also, I can show the contrast by slightly adjusting the variations, not in too much amount of values. After adjusting this place also I see that color value looks so different. So I can use pure white looks good also. Here I can select that and I can select the color I required for the background. From this place, I'm going to use the same common color for the titles. So I choose the right one and this looks good. With that, I can add a little more color change and I'm going to use the same colors for those text information. Here also I want to use the same. So that I'll have that same uniform text content throughout that magazine design, the newsletter design. After adding those informations, it can add further enhancement works, if you want to add the informations like strokes for the picture, you can add it and it can reduce that size into one or two it's up to you based on the need you are going to use. If you don't need, you can just disable it and you can continue with the further works. Here I'm going to use the light color again. Here also, I want to use that light color or I just use the dark color because here I want to mention that information which is a closing note to be highlighted. I just duplicate that shape here and I end here. I send it back using the control and open parenthesis here I'm going to select that color which is need to differentiate those events. This is how we add the information. We start with a layout design and we place the images using image placeholders and we concentrate the typography work. Finally, we do the other finishing enhancements and you'll get the exact design which you required for this particular newsletter design. This is how we build that newsletter design using Canva. You can choose any theme and you can create your own newsletter for the same. 35. Creating Clickable Buttons: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can add clickable buttons and navigate within the same newsletter or magazine. Here I'm going to use the magazine I used to create our previous lesson. With this, I want to create four buttons here. I just reduce the space here. I want to add the button here and I just reduce the text little bit down. It's just 10.5 here I want to add buttons. To add buttons, I come to this place the elements. I choose shape in the can either use that shape circle or round a rectangle. I use a circle here and I just want to bring it front. I just select that and I want to bring that into front. I just press Control and close rays so that I can bring it front. Now, I just reduce the size. Inside, just type that button page. Here I want to add number two and I want to change the particular font style which I require. It's up to you based on the need you are going to select what you draw. Now, I reduce size a little more. And this will be the maximum size I can use. Here, if you want to reduce more, you have another way. I just delete the text and I can reduce that particular area. And here I'm going to use the color which I required. After that, I want to add the text field here. I just duplicate this and I bring it front for the text, I'm going to use the white or this background color. And I'm going to use the page number. I used to add two. Now I want to align in a proper position. I can see that I use position to align in middle and center. And after that, I just expand that appearance. I select that alignment into center, and I want to make that as a group, so I just make it as a group. Now I just want to duplicate, so I just press hold the Altkey, click and tag and I release the mouse here. I got another shape here. And just proceed and duplicate and place it again, and again, also. So here I want to change that into one, and here I want to change that into three, and here I want to change that into four. Now, I just want to provide the link for the page also. So when I click this one, I need to navigate to this first page in the same way, the remaining buttons need to work. So how do we do that? It's easy with the Canva. To do that, I select the very first object, right click here I'm going to choose the option, which is link so with the link, I can do that work, and it should be that ungroup object. So I just ungroup it and I select the background shape first. I choose this more option. And here I have option called a link. So when I choose the link, it will show you those four pages which is available with this particular magazine itself. Two shows you what are all the project works, which is the magazine and newsletters you already created with this account. So it shows me two magazine works. Either I can connect enter magazine or newsletter connections using this, or I can use those pages also for navigation. Here I choose page one. The name of that link will be like that. I just choose Undo and it's just for navigation purpose. Now I choose two here and I want to ungroup first because I was grouped that now I select that and I want to change that link into page two, the. And here also, I want to do that. So I select and I link it to the page number three. And finally, I just select the shave and after that, I choose Link, and I choose four. So this is how simply we do the work. Now, when you completed that work, it start to function. So I'm going to choose this option, which is share, and I just download I choose this as a PDF and I just choose this download now. So it will be downloader. You can see that it was getting downloader. So it was Downloader now I want to check how it works. So I just open it. It was opened, and I want to click this place, which is that page two. When I click that, that will move to the page number two. Okay. So again, I open it and I choose that. I choose page number three. I moved to the page number three, and what about page number four, it works perfectly. Now again, I chose page number two. That jumps from one place to another magazine. I might have done some mistake, can see that that link is wrong. I choose Edit again and I want to choose page number two instead of nine. Now again, I just export this, download it, choose download. And I hope it will work now in a proper manner. You have to be careful with that selection of the particular page when you do the work. See here, it works. I choose two, and it move to the page two. This is how you can use that clickable buttons inside Canva. You can convert any item into button and you can add a link. It will navigate to that respective location with this magazine work. This is how we do that clickable buttons inv magazine or newsletter design. 36. Embedding Videos and Audio: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can embed video and audio inside a Canva, newsletter or magazine. So Canva supports that audio and video embed process, but we cannot use the video or audio in a Perio file. When you present, you can use that information for that presentation purpose. So here I'm going to show you how it works with a Canva. To embod any content, you have to use that content inside the Canva. To do that, I just copy that particular link, and I want to paste here. And if you are using a YouTube Embed process, you can directly use that particular video, I'm going to open a YouTube. And here I'm going to type something relevant to that information. I'm going to open any one random college graduation day function. So I just come here type the keyword graduation day and here I have a lot of graduation day videos. I'm going to choose one of that. I'm going to open any one. Choose copy that link. Now after copy that link, I come to my Co document. Here I just press Control V or paste. I'm not going to do anything else. Simply, I'm going to use that paste option. When I paste that YouTube link I was copied, will be automatically embedded inside. I can place it exactly where I require. I can either reduce the dimension, you can see that, or I can increase that based on that me. It's very simple to navigate and embedd that particular content inside Canva. Can also do that with the help of apps also. I go to the left hand side here in Canva, I choose apps. In apps, I just type that Queer which is embedded or embedded. So when I type the keyword embod, I will have that apps, which is supporting the Embod function with Canva. Here I use the very first one embod and when you open this for the first time, you have to accept and you have to choose ALO and after choosing that, you will get this particular screen. So it shows you what are all the clickable content you can embed inside the Canva document. You can embed YouTube, third, VMU and Spotify SoundCloud. So basically, you can embed those all video and audio elements, social media elements, including the Google maps. So you can also copy that and paste directly, so you will get this kind of embedded inside. You too can use this app and do the same work. Now after adding that, when I download that DF file, it will not work, as I said, but you can use that for presentation purpose, if you directly share this Canva page to the users, you can use in effective manner. For example, here, I'm going to use that. I choose the C and here you can see that we have a lot of options here, this I choose this present. When I choose present and choose present here, that was not remove that picture, you can remove when it requires. This is the first page of my magazine, that newsletter. This is the second page and I play here and you can see that it works, it plays that particular video without any error. This is how you can simply embed inside that video content and you'll get every information here inside the Canva. And also embod the same audio content in the same way as it requires. You can just copy and paste the link and add using this particular embedded media in your design option, or you can directly page that link and you will get that inside Canva. Now you can place wherever it requires. This is how we embod audio and video inside Canva. 37. Adding Hyperlinks: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can add hyperlink in Canva, so that link will take you into the another website or web page from this document itself. Let me show you how to do that. For example, here I want to add the website and YouTube and social media pages link so that they can click and directly navigate to the page. To do that, either I can add the text or I can use the graphics, I need to use the icons, first I just navigate the website icon. I got website icons here. I use this one and I want to reduce the size and I want to use that on my left hand side. After that, I want to use my YouTube icon. Here I use this one. I just want to use all those icons in circle shape. I don't want any other shape. I will adjust that shape size exactly later. Now after that, I need that Instagram or Twitter or Facebook icon. So basically you can add all those information you acquired, add it, and this is how I add those icons. After adding that I want to fix the proper size for all those icons. But here you can see that there is excess space. I want to fix this as a perfect size. I go to this option which is position. It shows you the width and height is 0.65. I need to use the same size gear. And here also. Now, after choosing that, I select all three elements and I set that top alignment into original that same distances. After adding all those things, I want to copy and paste that link here. I want to copy and paste the random links from the external links. I go to this, Google and I want to type some school website link. So I just got some school some links there, and I want to open YouTube link also. I want to open some School Link. So here I have some, you know, videos, and I want to select some random, you know, I want to open the Facebook page. So all those things are here. Now, I just copy this link and I just paste here. As I said, it's just a random link, right link and I choose the link, and here you can see, I have the space to paste my own hyperlink. So I press Control V. When I press Control V, those pages are gone, and I want to choose this option which is done. And after choosing done, I go to and open that next link. I want to use this link. So I just copy that. You just imagine that's my school, you know, YouTube channel link. And here I want to paste that link, and I choose done. It was link. And finally, I want to open that social media page. And just imagine this is my social media page, which is Facebook page. Here also I paste that and I choose done. So all those things, links are perfectly added. Now I choose Export, Mint share and download as PDF, I choose download here. That PDO file is started the downloading process. First, it compose all those elements, then it will download in a few seconds. There I will have the hyperlink. I can just choose and jump from one place to another place. It was downloaded, you can see that. I click that and it was opened. I do have those links. You can see that when I move my mouse over there, it shows me that hyperlink mouse I can view and when I choose that, just click that, it opens the link I was added. I again click back and here I click it moves to the YouTube page and in the same way, again, I come back and I choose this Facebook. You can integrate all those websites using this hyperlink option in Canva. This is the best thing about hyperlink usage. Now, if you want to edit that page link, you can choose the same icon and you can choose this option Edit link, you can paste again and you can choose done. That's how we do the work. And if you want to remove the link also, we can simply choose this option, which is a remove. This is how we add hyperlinks in Canva to navigate from one website to another. 38. Sharing via Social Media and Email: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can share our magazine or newsletter through social media and email. To do that, I come to this area, which is the top of that website. On right hand side, you have the option called share. After completing the work and you had everything with that magazine or newsletter, you choose this option share here. In share, you have a lot of options. We used this option which is download previously. Here, I choose this option, which is C. I click here. When I choose this option, C, it shows you a lot of options. You can see that you can basically share with your elems. You can share this particular design, that information, that content in the form of website. You can also send to our phone if you have that app and I come down here, it shows you the options to download a different format can add inside the Google Drive, you can save as a PowerPoint presentation. Apart from that, I come down here to show you a few other options. The first one is email. I choose option email so that I can mention the particular email ID and I can send directly to that particular ID. So you don't need to download and attach with some other um, email provider and do all those things. With Canva, you can directly select that particular design and send it to that particular email ID. That's how it works with that email option, and it shows you more options here. I come back here. So you can also share with that Google Classroom. It to show you the option which is public view link. I click this option, so it will generate the link which can be accessed by everyone. I just click this link, or it was generated. You can see that. Now I can copy this by using this option and I can paste wherever I need to share with a public audience. I will show you you can also share that through social media. That number of visits will be counted and whenever someone was accessing the content, if you want the notification, you too can enable that. You can see that it's a new feature, there was added. It's the permission you are setting here, which is they can view only the design and if you want allow them to the restricted access, you can also change the access here. Here I was at anyone and even if they don't need a Canva account. This is how you share with email and you can copy and paste the link with the social media and you can share that design around the world. You can also track it and how many people access you to get the notification through that process. This is how we share our design through social media and email. 39. Canva Apps for Graphic Design: In this lesson, I'm going to show you what are all the basic and advanced features we have to do at designs in Canva with the help of apps. The Canva have the separate option called apps. With the help of that, you can use a lot of third party applications. That is highly essential too. Let me show you how to use it. To use that, I come to the left hand side and I choose this option apps. Previously also I used to embedd that particular video. Now I just close this you can see that it has a huge list of apps for different work purpose. Just go to the top of that, and it has a different categories. You can see that it shows you that A generation process, we can generate a music, a voice, lot of A functions here for that audio and document works. You can see that count is huge. It starts with AI audio and AI documents AI images and that leads more further with a long list. A text is also there and a videos there. All those elements are there. You can use each and every app for generating content with A in Canva. You have separate audio and voice over apps. You can use for NNC audios and voiceovers and you have communication applications for sharing the information with email, social marketing, you can see that all those things are available with this Canva apps. You have file management drives also here. With the different categories, we have huge amount of apps. You can effectively use that as you required. You see here. The complete set of graphic design applications are out there, and we have marketing based apps are there. I have photo editing apps, complete list here. It has a huge moto list. You can see that project management, video and animation, Texas sling. Each category have a lot of apps inside the Canva. Every day they are adding more and more apps for, you know, the purpose of creating perfect design and process with Canva. These are the apps we can use according to the need and you can generate better design and works, the corporate, as well as the commercial job using Canva. 40. Platforms for Hosting Your E Magazine: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can publish your magazine or newsletter for public access with free of cost. To do that, I go to the Google and type this content, which is host your magazine free. So when I type this keyboard and press Enter, it shows you a lot of websites which is available for publish your magazine or newsletter. This was opened this issue, which is one of that magazine application and I show you the plan of that particular magazine. It has the options here. I come to this purchase page and let me show you what are all the plans they have for you. You can use that teams option here and for free trial, they are starting with a zero, but after that, you have to pay $188. But at the bottom, you can see they have provided me one option, which is basic plan. You can see here, it's a basic plan. You can upload five documents here. Per document, you can have maximum ten page and less than 50 MB. This is a basic plan. It's completely free. You don't need to pay any money for that. So I just signed up with that, and here I want to upload that file. I was opened. This is where I have a file. I want to open that file and I want to drag and drop inside that particular subscription page, and I opened that. This is the first page of that dashboard. I want to upload here. So I choose a upload file and I want to choose a file. You can also drag and drop inside that. I chose Upload File. And the uploading process was started. It was uploading that magazine. I was just uploading that document which is exported at the end. So after it was getting uploaded, I can publish that and it will provide you the public access link. You can add it inside your page where it requires. So we can embedd that particular, you know, magazine page. Let me show you how it, you know, has the look after getting uploader. So it was published and the processing was initiated. The process is getting finished and it shows you the option to provide the title here. I have the title which is Box, if you want to mention the newsletter and the particular month, you can also mention that. Here I can add the description of that particular magazine or newsletter. This is how it looks. I just go to the next page, it opens like that and that will be the last page of the magazine. And you can also just, you know, navigate through that pages by just clicking Track, but it will be available there. So after completing the work, I simply choose option, publish. So it was published, and it just closed this button. Now you can see that this is the public access link, just copy that and I want to paste here. And I opened that. So it was open with that website now. This is a link, the public access link, you can see that. This is the public access link. It was loading that magazine, and it starts with the first page. And now I just click here and that's getting open. I can read it. You can zoom in, also can see that how I can zoom in and to have the read mode here. So we have different modes here. And I just go to the next and previous. It's easy to have a full screen access. If you want, you can use it. This is how we can upload with various websites. You can complete the work and upload and you can publish that with the online magazine uploading websites. 41. Explore Canva’s Brochure Templates: In this lesson, I'm going to show you what are the different broochu templates we have available with Canva. To access that, I choose templates on my homepage. After that, I come to this navigation page. Here I want to type the keyword, which is browser. After type the keyword broocher I just press Enter. When I press Enter, it shows you different browchre templates. It's completely available for free and the pro versions. Here you can see that we have the trifold browser design and here also we have trifle Bowchu design. Most of the content here we have, which is the trifold broocher designs. But Canva to have trifold browser designs and bifold brochure designs. Let me type the heever here. Type the keyword, which just bifold browchu design. It loads you different browsers which is created with two pages. You can see that the inner and outer pages are out there. You can type the keyword and you can get the design with that. Let me give you another keyword here. I just use the keyword which is gatefold. So there is another category which is gatefold browsure, but here, I think it's not available with that. So we have common two fold and three fold, templates are there. I just open any one template here, and it should have both outer and inner pages. So here I chose this one. And it shows you that it has the outer pages and it to have the inner pages. I choose this customize this template and it open that with the template editing page. Here itself, I can directly replace those images with my own image. Here also I can replace those images. I can load my logo here and I can replace the text information here, the same way I can do all those work for inner page also. This will be the first page, and this is number two, three, four, and this could be the five and this could be the page number six. You can also fold in a different way in this, we can see that this could be the page one and this could be the page five, but this will be the outer page and they will fold this will go inside that fold, and these three pages will be present inside that two. Based on the fold, how you create, it will go inside. Let me show you different folds here. I'm going to show you different trifold broochurs. Here you can see that it has different trifold brooches. I click here once. When you see this trifold broochre, this is the page number one, but they fold in a different way. This will go inside and this page here, what we have page number four will be the outer page. That's how they have folded this here also, I show you that design, this will be the page one. They fold this within that and this will be the page number six. The fold matters how they fold their particular broochure that decide what will be the page one and what will the page six. Here you can see that this is not here, so they fold in a different way. These are the variety of template designs we have with Canva. After loading that at any time you two can replace with another design. If I feel like this looks better, I can click there and I can choose this option, apply both pages, and the existing design will be replaced with that two new designs. Can see that is how it was replaced. So this is how we access the templates and edit and do the modifications and we can utilize according to our need. Here you can see that this is the first page, and this is the last page. You can fold inside this particular page number five. This is how we just simply access customize that Canva browcher designs. 42. Using Canva’s Alignment and Distribution Tools: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can use align and distribution tool inside Canva. To use that, I choose the information first. Like here I don't have a proper alignment. I choose those multiple objs I want to align in a proper way. So after choosing all those things, I come to this position option. When I click this position option on your left hand side, you have range and layers. Layers helps you to arrange those visuals above or below based on the need. And apart from that, I choose option orange. So to allow you to send that object back or bring to forward. And if you want to move only one step, front or back, you can use these options. So basically we use this for arrange those objects, and here I have the option to align the elements. I can either align into top or bottom left or right, or middle or center. So here I just want to align all those elements in the left hand side. I click this left, all those things are perfectly aligned with left side. The same way I choose those elements, the text elements, which is present inside that particular text box. After choosing that, I choose this left option. All those things are perfectly aligned. And if you want to individually align each text field with that shape, you can choose that middle or left or center. Basically, all those things we can do with this Canva position option, you can have all those things. You too can design, define those dimensions information here, how much you need the width and height, all those options also with Canva. This is how we simply arrange the positions of each object. You two can modify that layer arrangement using Canva. 43. Designing for Print and Digital: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we export and set the print and web purpose documents. In our previous lessons, I shows you how that works. But here, I'm going to give you the detailed information. After completing the work, we choose a option share. When I choose share, you have a lot of options here. I can either share, you know, by social media see that it shows me the Whats up option here, Instagram and all those social media pages are out there. At the same time, you have the option, download. So I choose Download. And I choose Download, it shows you different categories of the download setup. Here I have two major things which is PDF standard and PDF print. So what's the major difference? When I choose PDF standard, it clearly shows you that best for documents and email. If you want to have that document on your device, just want to have the document and you want to send it through email or social media, you can use this option which is PDF standard. There is another option which is PDF print. If you want to go for print that particular work, you cannot use this option because this option PDF print will have the better image resolution, which gives you the better quality with printing documents. So I strongly recommend you. When you go for print, prefer this PDF print, so that you will have a better image quality. But if you want just to view that information, that design, content, definitely, you can go for this PDF standard. Apart from that, you do have the PPT format and JPEG file formats. So if you don't have the PDF reader on your device, definitely you can go for either PPTX file format or JPP file format. This is how you decide what kind of the printing based or visual based document format you acquired after completing that design work. 44. Project: Tri Fold Brochure Design: I In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can create your own trifold broochre design using Canva. Here I have a content for the browchre design. The front cover broochre design, the content for that was here, and I'm going to use the logo. This is a cave. And the middle page content or here, I have three middle pages on left, right, and center. So here I'm going to use this for the left and center and the right. After that, I have the outside pages. This first page will be the outside page, the cover. I'll have two more pages. So on on page, I'll have the information about the cave and that final fold outside page, I'll have the contact details of that particular cave. These are the content and I'm going to use the images from my Canva library. To start the design, I click this option Create. After choosing that option, here I'm going to choose the print, or I can directly type the ear here, which is trifold brochure or brochure. When I type the keyword brochure, it search various designs, templates available with the same keyword browsure and it will load all those designs for you. Here it shows you. I have the browser here with trifold, you can see that and I to have bifold broochre here, here, here, and here also. All those things having different dimensions, you can see that all different dimensions. Apart from that, I have the Z fold. If you want, you can go for those things also. But I'm going to use this trifle browcher design. I choose this browcher landscape. I just click here and that particular browchre was getting ready. This is the A four dimension browcher design. It shows you that three separate divisions here. You don't need to create separate lines or grades to manage that. I to have that particular information. This is how you create that process and after that, we are going to add the further pages for this design. I just click here add page. I'll have one more page here and this is how we generate the new document. After created this as we did with all designs, we need to concentrate that layout of the design. I'm going to create the layout here. I just want to plan how do I need my design? So here, this is the first page of the design. I start with a rectangle shape, and I'm going to use it here. You can plan according to that three pages appearance. You can add the layout according to that instead of focusing only one page. That's how you have to plan. And here you can see, I was just added the information. And after adding this shape, I just duplicate and I want to add the information here. Here I will add my picture of that product or the company. You can plan that design, diagonal or horizontal or vertical layout based design. Here this is how I want to plan that and just see to add circle and here I want to add my logo. I add a little more color here, and I want to change the color. Here I will add my logo, and I'll have the picture here and I'll have the product information, rest of things, and the basic first page information here. Here I can add the frame. I go into the elements and I'm going to type the keyword frames. So I'll have the frames. I choose a rectangle frame, and I want to place the rectangle frame here. After placing that, I send this back. So this is where I need to add that, you know, picture and I just want to add the colors, I'll add it later. After that, I come to this back page. This will be the back page and I want the complete back page with a solid color. And if I want, I can add the picture of that particular shop here. I just duplicate that frame and I place here. So this is how I want to place the back page. Here, I want to add that contact details. I will change the color anyway. And in the same way, I can use the solid color throughout that page and I send that back and these are the inner pages. I'm going to add the menu details. So for the outer page, completely, I'm going to use the dark theme. For inner pages, completely, I'm going to use light theme. That's how I want to move further. And here also, I can use the image. I'm going to use the same size frame here, just want to maintain the uniform appearance with the unity and balance here. So this is how I was planning the outer pages. And here, I just want to add few details for adding the contact information. I just duplicate again that shape, and I just provide slight variation. Later I will add more variation with that. Here I was adding that informations within those areas. And if you want, again, also add the Google map information with this. Now, for inner pages, I need to add the informations. So what I do here is I want to provide the shapes first. So I add a rectangle. And if you want to maintain the solid color for the page, you can directly choose that page, and here you can change the color if you want. So in that case, you don't need to change need to add the shape. Instead of that, you can directly change the color of the background. Here I want to add a few frames. I come here and I choose the frames here, not going to use the grids, and here I have a lot of creative frames. I can use as it required here also, I have a lot of frames. So there are so many out there with a lot of creative shapes. I can choose whichever I want and I can place where it requires. This is where I praise one and I want to add more. I add further. Here I want to add one. And it should be a little bit bigger to balance the information. Apart from that, I do want to add a few graphics. I come to the graphics and here I'm going to mention that keyword cave. I'll have a few elements like this. I can load and I can use where it requires. There are so many graphics out there, so hugest is there. You just use as it requires so I have seen all those magic recommendations. I just load and I can change the color based on the menu, I can navigate the elements further. I just want a few more details there. I can manage after some time. I just want to load it now, so it will be good when I load those elements first. After loading all those affirmations, I can start to add the further elements. So to have the doodle here and more elements, more beautiful things out there for my care. I can see that we have huge number of doodles there for this fine. Those elements which I required, I was added and I add few elements like this also. I can utilize those in effective manner and it should not disturb my menu list. I have to be careful with that and just use caf doodle. Thank you. And I want to load that. It looks good. There are so many doodles out there, but all are paid, not the free one. Fine. I can use this after reducing that particular opacity and other odd things. Right now I have few elements and I can change it further. I can use it as a request. So I just place in a random way and I can do the remaining work further. This is how I just scattered and place the elements. Again, I come back here I want to add the images for my design. I come to the photos, and here I want to mention the cave. I press Enter, it shows you all the cave images. I'll load right image for my cave. It shows you fantastic images. You can see that. How beautiful are those images. So from this, I lower this first. This looks fantastic. It shows me a lot of recommendations for the calf. So this to looks good, and it too shows me a lot of recommendations. So all of those recommendations are representing the free images only. So that doesn't disturb anyway. And here I place the picture that doesn't look too good. For this picture, I use here, and again, I change the picture and change the alignment. This looks really good. And I can use this for the first page. But if I have a better picture, also, I can use that. There are huge number of pictures out there. Since it's a first page, it should be more attractive. It should not be ordinary because this picture will drag the attention from the audience and they will visit the shop. They will have that opinion about the shop, all those information from this first picture only. You have to be careful with that. That's not too good. I just need too good picture here for this cave. Not that. I want to search the image. Drinking coffee. I will show you a lot of, you know, images from this, I can prefer the image I require. It shows a lot of images. And I can use something like this on my first page. I can choose the better picture. I have a lot of pictures here. I can choose which one I want, not that one. I just go to the first and here I have a lot of pictures. You can see that most of the images here, what we have was paid, not for free. I want to choose the better picture. I choose this one and I want to move farther with this. This picture I prefer because there are huge number out there, but I need more time to use those images. I start with that or this looks much better than that one. This is the picture I've acquired. After that, I just reduce the logo size, and it should not disturb my main picture of that coffee shop. It too shows me recommendations. And this looks much better than other all images, you can see that. I just fix this as the primary image of my page. Here I choose that page and I want to select the color from the first page. I can choose that from the copy here, or I can choose from that brown color which is present. This looks much better with contrast, so I can go for this color or I can go for this color. So this looks good. And here also, I want to use the same dog theme here also, I want to use the same dog theme. I can use shad here so I can show the differences on those shades. And here also, I can use the shad No that's not good. Here I'm going to use it. And for this background, I don't need to use the different color. I choose the background color here and I want to use that from the same image. So I just need to go with the light color theme. First, I chose that color. From that, I want to move further light. I want to add the pictures here, and here also, I want to select the color from that and that's how we move further. And here I want to add the images of the coffee. I can add it from that menu, I have a menu here, so I can choose what looks good. So I can ESCO. It shows me a lot of information there and I can use this one Tuino It provides me a lot of images there. I can load either one or multiple images and I can load that inside my frame. This how it adds inside. If you want that circle frame or something like this also, you can use, don't need to casitate and it will be better when you use that frame we require. After adding that, I can just access. If I want to adjust further, I can adjust in this way too. I can see how I do that work. I too can rotate, but based on that space we have, that function will help you. So this is how you can simply add those images inside the frame. You have a lot of images out there. Just pick it and add it inside and we can fit that with this particular page. So I don't need more space with that plate. I just want to focus the coffee. So this is how it has the look. After that, I want to add that baking food. I just copy and paste here. I just navigate and I have the blueberry muffin. It looks good. There are a lot of images out there. Represents that food. I can choose which one I want, which one that convey that information in better manner. A lot of things out there. Pick the right one which create that feel that you need to eat that food. I should not just picture, I should create the emotion when you look at that. That's how you need to pick the picture and just use this one. That's not the free image. I just tell it that we just need the free image. We're not going to use the paid one. After adding that, I can just change that color. I choose the picture, go to the edit. It will open the image adjustment tools. I increase the brightness and I adjust the values here, the contras, the highlights, the shadows and the white values. Based on the need, you are going to desire how you need to add that food. You do have a lot of other options here, so you don't need to struck with the same food item, a lot of food items there. You can use according to that need to have that lava cake. Or those things also. Those looks good. This is how you just complete that image placement and I just want choose a better image here. Choose that keyword coffee or I can use that keyword from here, I need a photo and I got it. This is how I simply complete that work. And after that, I want to add the text information. So once if you completed the image placement, we can start to do the text information. So I just change the tone here according to the colors. So here I want to add the logo. So I go to the uploads, already uploaded the logo. So here I choose that logo. I just trag and place inside the frame. So for that, I need a frame. I go the elements. Elements, I want to choose the frames, I choose that circle frame, the basic shape inside, I place the logo. So it's based on that decision I use. I can arrange that space for that. Either I can place in this way or I can also remove the complete colors from outline. But here I place like this. This will be my brand logo. Here I want to after adding the brand information, I can add further details inside this design. To add it, I come to this place. I want to copy and paste the text information first. I just copy and here I want to add. I just press T, so the text box was added. I paste the information here. This will be the text, the welcome text, and I duplicate that and I want to place that tagline concentrate the typography further. This should be the normal size text. After that, I to want to add these information there. I don't need to add address details on the very first page. So after adding those informations, I done with that because I want to add those information at the end page, but it's not a bad thing if you add those information also. I just add now, but later if I don't need, I can delete that. This is how I was just placing those informations and after that, I come to the middle page informations. I just copy the text, and here I want to paste that and to change the color of that alignment. I send that back. This is where I want to place those informations. Here I place it and I'm going to add the body content. First, I add this information. So I chose this paste there and I just make that into wold. I just increase the font size into 14 for the title and for the remaining text information, going to use them this way. I just expand that. Here I have two informations. For this, I don't need that bullets. That's just information about that dish. You can either use this way, I can just place information, or you have to manually add all those informations. So right now, I just want to add that you know, that food alone, I don't need to mention how it is because it will take a lot of time. So I just use that food alone. But here, you can see that we have those price details. To avoid that, I just disable that and here I just want to align that price information in a different alignment. You can see that you default have that information with the left alignment. But if you want to manage that cost, I just duplicate that and I want to replace those informations. This is how you manage those informations. Just remove all the unwanted content. Keep that price in a separate text field because you need to have this here and you can align in a proper way according to that. Here now I can add that unlist and I can delete those price information here. This is how you separate those dishes in the same way I just place the remaining food information. I just duplicate and place that we can change the dishes and the titles. The same way I just place here the next set of food items, whatever it is, just place according to that here just imagine I have more food items with that list. I just further add Okay. After that, I come to this page. He also I want to add that information. I just bring this print here I just want that in a transparent appearance, not in a complete visible appearance. Should be a little bit transparent. And here I need it. But instead of white, I can change that into light color, and instead of orange, I can set some brown, which will have a better appearance. So instead of black, I can choose something like this. So it will never, you know, went out of that theme. It will be within the theme only. And here I just move on right set little bit. And here also, I want to add those informations. So I just duplicate and place according to that. Now here I just remove this. I want to manage this alone. So based on the need, you can just add the informations. This is how you plan that page for the sorry inner and outer pages, you can add the details here. You can concentrate the typography work with alignment. So I just select the proper font first, which is, you know, App one for that very first page. O I chose that into left. And here I can prefer the color from that design alone. I can either prefer from this coffee or I can prefer that logo. Because that to have the colors, I can prefer that logo also. But that dominates that design. I don't need to allow that to dominate the design. I move further again and change the colors as I require. And after that, I set the alignment how it should be. After that, that details of that ca, I just reduce that font size more further and here I want to adjust. I want to change the color of the text as I require. This will be that information of the conduct I was adding below for this. I just want to change the color. The light values I use. You can see that that's the color change I require. This is how I add those informations and here I'm going to add the contact details and here I'm going to add that information about your cave just come here. I want to add those informations. Copy that about the and this is where it will be and I'll have the information like this. Here I make that too bold here also. Here I will have the contact details. I'll add those informations here. Just copy and paste those informations. So for this, I just want to increase the pawn size. And I to adjust that contact like email and other things. All those things should be in small letters and it should not be in a caps format. Now I align that into center. This is where I need to have all those elements. This is how I just add those information. I want to use only white for that. Apart from that, I do have the rest of the information. For that, I just use another text form and I just increase the font size. You can add all those informations and you can set up what kind of font you require, whether it should be bold or it should be bigger in size, what color it requires, and the texture, what you required for the background, which is highly essential. Just type the keywords. I got the photos here, I'm going to mention the coffee. I'll have the texture like this. I can either use those textures for the rapper design, the inner pages, not just in the pages, the outer pages. I just add it and I send it back I send that to the last, then I select all those shapes. I send it back. I select this, I reduce that transparency value to have the better visibility. Here also I can use the texture which is relevant to the coffee or I can use in this way also. Both things will be perfectly managed with that background. Have a look on the copy strain appearance. This will have a better look when I present. The two can use this shape to add with a background. I can select that. I can send it below all other objects. I can reduce the transparency value will have a better look like this. In this way, you can add the more detailed information. I select this I reduce the fonts a little bit. And do the same thing here also. You can use those titles and you can add those informations, you can add the shapes, all those things as it requires. Here I just add it and adjust that further, send it back. I want to pick the color from the picture. Which will have a better background merch. I can use that in the same way at the bottom. After adding that I select and reduce the size. This is how you simply add those details and I add light and dark values for that design. I just want to add further dark value, so I was chosen in this way, you can create that trifle browchre design for your product. You can add the details outside and it can provide the information about the cost inside and it's complete free work. We didn't use any paid element. We used complete free work. You can complete that and you can choose share download and we can choose that PDF for print since you are going to use this for the print and I choose the download. This downloading process was initiated if you want, you can spend more time. You can further enhance lot of detailes. The more you time you spend with the design, you'll have a more better quality output. Now, I choose this was completed, that and these are the two pages of that design paper completed. This is how you can create your trifold browcher design using Canva. 45. Newspaper Layout Basics in Canva: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can manage the newspaper design column with Canva. The newspapers will have a large number of dimensions. Let me show you how you can manage those things here. So here, I'm going to create a newspaper design size. To create that dimension, I choose Create option. And here I choose that custom size because in printable when I type the keyword newspaper, it shows you the newspaper document here. But this is auto size, you can see that here I'm going to customize it, and I'm going to choose that dimension in centimeter. Traditionally, in um area, the newspaper dimension will be that 33 centimeter width and 53 centimeter height, not 53. 48 centimeter. This is how you will have that one side of the newspaper. You can create that page first and you can create the page designs. After adding that, you can choose create design. You'll have that one side appearance of that newspaper here. So after that, I come to this files option. If the file menu, I will have that settings, and I'm going to choose the option guides. Generally, with the Indian newspaper and most of the newspapers, they will have the eight column design. Here we have the 12 column design instead of that, I'm going to choose that eight column. The eight column will have that news information. It's just choose that add guides, and you can see that this is how we have the columns. Now I need to reduce the column space. I come to the settings again and I choose add guides. In that I want to reduce that 0.25, I choose. I'll have less amount of space now and I have wide amount of space to add the news items. I can also choose 0.2, which will be better instead of having that 0.25. So this amount is enough, and here you are going to add the title of the newspaper on left hand side on right hand side. You may have small advertisements, and you'll have the lead of the newspaper here, and you have the pictures, advertisements, everything inside this newspaper. And this is how you create the column for the newspaper. You can customize entirely and just imagine I'm going to add frame and text for the newspapers here I'm going to add one basic shape. And this is where my newspaper will have that advertisement. And here also it will have the advertisement. And here I'm going to add the newspaper title, and it's based on that newspaper title. You are going to have your advertisements there and apart from that, I will have the title here, the newspaper title and whatever it is, it will be there. Then thereafter, you'll have the lead for the newspaper and it's based on the column count. You'll have the picture here. Just imagine I was adding the picture of the lead here with the number of columns it requires. And I have huge other information out there also. I just have the advertisement here, which is covering four columns, and it has a 20 centimeter height. It will be like this and I will have the further news items and other things there. This is how you simply plan your newspaper design. It requires four columns and based on that information you are going to present, you decide how many columns it should cover, whether it should cover two column or three column, all those information based on the weightage of the news only. That's how we spread the image and we present the text information for the home page. For further pages for the second, third, fourth pages, based on the category information you are going to present, you can add the details. This is how we plan the column and grids for newspaper design in Canva. 46. Managing Large Text Sections with Canva Styles: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can manage large scale text using Canva. In our previous lessons, I already shows you how do we manage the text, and here I'm going to show you how we can manage a large text. So here I have information about the spores. You just imagine this may be the leading information of the newspaper which is having in front. Here, I have a text information, not like in design, in Canva, you cannot continuously spread the text value the multiple columns. Here you can simply add the text within that boundary, and that overflow text cannot be directly added to the next text box. You need to duplicate that if I want that further text, what I have here below, I just need to do the copy and paste process for all those text information. But if I want to change the particular style of the information, I just have the different color for the text information and I may choose some different other styles which is required as per the instructions from the team or the writer, they have mentioned that I want to do the changes for all those pages. We already know that we use that copy style option and wherever it require that change, we can simply copy and paste that last copied styles will be present there and that will replace all those information or you can select all those large scale text together and you can do that alignment change like justification or left alignment or the style change required for that particular text information. So you can do all those things, but based on the selection, and you can also do the changes on that particular information and you can just copy and paste those styles. This is a easy way when you are done multiple changes with that same text. We can simply copy the style and you can paste with the other texts. That's how we manage the large scale text inside the Canva with style option. 47. Using Canva Charts and Infographics: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can add the chart and graphic information on your newspaper with Canva. You can use that feature with any document, not only with a newspaper, and let me show you how you can use that option. To use that, I come to the elements first, and in elements, you can see, we have a lot of sheets here with categories. In this, I too have the option, which is charts. I click Charts, and it shows you the options what are all the charts are available with Canva. It has options here with different categories, bar chart, line chart, Bie charts, area charts. You can see that cartered and dot charts. We have hierarchy charts. Again, you have the infographics charts. So all those things helps us to present the data with graphical format. And here, it helps you start with the data option to feed the information. And I already copy and pasted the information here. You can see that I have the scoreboard of the particular cricket match. It's just imaginary one. And I can create chart for that. And now I just select that data first. So after choosing that data in this Canva Excel sheet, I will have the options here. You can see that it shows you the quick action and I can either generate the magical chart from here or I have the option here. You can see that directly with magical charts. When I choose that it provide the information here with different charts. I can choose which one I required. I can either choose by chart, we provide the score which is created by the cricketers. You can see who are all created, that score. I just click that and it provides me that databased information and you can see who phased and created that information there. I can also customize that by selecting the data value, I just select that runs alone and I want to update that I don't need the entire data. So I just delete that I want to select that score alone. Now I choose that same again, and it shows you again the updated information. I just click that and it was updated there. So you can basically add chart for any information, and you can see how that display all those informations. Basically, you have to select the label first. So instead of choosing from player name, I was started with Rogierma. So I want to change that data selection. I select from that player name and I just update the data here. Now it provide me the better detailed information. See that I was selected, and here it provides me with that Clean roguish data here. It represents who have the better data that score with that match. I can use the same data here, copy that and I paste here, that chart information have the data. You can customize it as it requires and you can see that it's completely free with flexible appearance. Entirely change that look also. And you to have the options here for padding and that spacing, you can customize that spacing how much you want. And if you want to change the colors for that, you can also change that how you're required for the color to also, you can change like what you required. So that default color is white. And if you want to edit, you can go to this Edit option. You can select the data again. You can customize since we already have those data out there. Can choose the type of the chart also after prepared it, and I select that into Pi now so you can see how the transform the chart as I required. You can choose any format based on the need and that will be provided with different shapes. So this is how you simply create that chart data from the existing information. You can separately add with Google, not just Google, the Canvas sheets, and you can generate and bring back to your newsp design or here itself, you can simply use that option which is elements and in elements, you are going to choose charts and you can start to add the data, copy and paste the data from the source, and you can simply create the chart from here itself. 48. Title Text Styles: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can add different Texas title styles inside Canva. To do that, I come to my apps. In my apps, I'm going to choose the QR which is title. After adding that keyboard title, I press Enter. Here it shows me the different options to add titles. With that, I'm going to use that option which is text studio. When I open the text studio, it shows me the different textiles. Few are free like this and the remaining for premium users. I have a lot of free designs. You can see that a lot of free designs are out there. I can directly use those things. Let me show you how I can use it. Here, you just imagine I'm going to use this and after choosing that style, I want to type that text what I require. Here I'm going to type happy birdy, and I can choose the font style here, I can choose the alignment, what I required, and the other values I can adjust using this option. Now after that, I choose this option which is add to design. When I choose Add to design, it will be added inside my design. You can see that it was added inside the design. So I can either place where it requires, whether it is the caption or lead, whatever it is, I can simply add it and I can also edit the colors which is generated. So I can choose this place and I can select a better combo if I require. You can basically try any style here or just that one. Based on the background you have, you can prefer light or dark from those available text styles. You can see that many styles are there for free. Based on that need, you can choose which one you want, select it, and I'm going to add that details here after adding that, just type the keyword which is add to design and you'll have that on your design. Then you can simply fit it by moving it so this is how you simply edit those details. You add the different text styles other than what we have with the default Canva text. You can see that we have default Canva text. Other than that, if you want to generate the creative information, you can go and load here from that apps. To apps helps us to build these kind of titles inside Canva. 49. Print Bleed in Canva: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can set the print bleed for any design using Canva. To set up that, I come to this file and I choose settings. Here I chose the option, show plead. When I choose this option, show bleed. I will show you the bleed margin here. Everything, what you do here, inside this area comes under the print. You don't need to move outside that. By default, that bleed area will be in a hidden mode. If you want, it can simply show and you can expand those elements if you want outside that bleed also. Otherwise, you just simply present everything inside. This looks much better within that led area. By default, it will be invisible mode. You can simply enable it if you want, otherwise, you can design HTH without showing that print bled option. That print bled is the extra space that helps us to manage every element within the boundary and that ensures nothing goes beyond that printable area. 50.
