1. Trailer Skillshare: Hello and welcome. My name is Leonardo. I'm 20 years old. And in this course, I will teach you what is print-on-demand
and how it works. Basically, you will learn
how to design a t-shirt, how to create a sharp
on written Bible, the website that
we're going to use, how to upload a product
on Redbubble and how to do a proper niche and a tag
research for your products. So if this is
sounded interesting, you can watch the overview of the course in the next video, and we will see us in the
next lesson. Bye bye.
2. Overview Skillshare: Hello and welcome back. My name is Leonardo, and thank you for
choosing this course. In this course, we're going to learn how print on-demand works. Specifically, we're
going to learn how to read Bob bolt,
print-on-demand words. A customer places an
order on your website, which will be on Redbubble. And when the order is placed, the print on demand suppliers, in this case, read by boat, is going to print and
manufacture the product, which can be a T-shirt among us, thicker
hoodie, whatever. Then it will package the item and sheep bit
directly the customer. What is your role in
all of these chain? Basically, your
job is to create, designs and upload them on your sharper on your
Redbubble shop. Specifically, by doing so, you will earn margin for each
product that you will sell. The more designs
that you will have on your website, the better. So more costumers are going
to find your designs. And once a design is
uploaded on your website, it will stay there forever. You will have to stay patient. But trust me, it will
be worth it in the end. So read Bible is the main website that
we are going to use. The next lecture,
we're going to see how to open an account and how to
set up your Redbubble shop. But later on this in the course, the prerequisites are none. We're going to use
a free websites and the softwares to
create the designs, to research the niches
needed for the designs. And this is really eat another quick
mention, what is in each. Well, basically it represents a hobby group of people,
passion about something. For example, cycling or
I don't know, music. That's specific. Pets, like dogs, cats. I don't know. But by dividing the
universal audience in those little niches, you can target specific designs for Denton niche that
you know, it will sell. Last but not least, I want to talk about setting
the proper expectation. So it will be as low
growth at the beginning. So you have to keep
yourself motivated. You will have to fail
thousands of times. And you know, when
you feel a lot, you get demotivated,
you'll want to quit. You want to stop uploading
designs, but trust me, if you stay consistent, stay patient over time, you will see this
snowball effect. Again. Once the design is
set up on your shop, it will stay there forever. And again, you don't have to do any type of marketing
work because we will focus on niche research and SEO, search engine optimization. So by choosing the
right keywords, your designs will
pop up automatically for the costumers. This is it. Thanks for tuning in. And in the next lesson, we're going to start by doing the practical things and really getting into the
meat of this course. So thanks again for choosing this course and
choosing me as a mentor. And we'll see you
on the next one.
3. Create a Redbubble Account: So welcome back. First thing. First, you have to go on rent bamboo.com and it will
show up this page. So if you're never
have been honored, Babu, we have we have you
will have to sign up. There wouldn't be a
bottom down here. Up here, sorry. And we
will just click sign up. And you will click
artist sign up. You will have to choose a male, a password and
you're sharpening. So for my shop, I choose super-duper name just for the sake of these,
of these tutorials. And then you will see
this page, the dashboard. So I've created a new
shop just for you, just to teach you well and
do all the step-by-step prune things that we have to do in order to start
selling on our shop. So when you go to
your dashboard, you can just click on
Account and click dashboard. Here, we show up. And you will see
these fake picture. Basically. Those are
all the steps in order to create and set
up properly your shop. So I have already set
up the get paid agent. So you have to
confirm your email. They will just send you
a verification email. It's really easy. You will have to
add your name and address and add payment details. So for the payment details, you will choose the currency. And so I don't know if pounds, US dollars, euros,
and the way they, that they are going to
send you money basically. So if you are in the US or UK, you can add your bank
account and your tax info. If you are outside those
countries, like me, I'm from Italy, you will
just need a Paypal account. And that's it. Once you create a
Paypal account here, we'll just need to add it
to your payment details. I hope that you have people
unless you can just search people on Google and just need to create an account. So this is in Italian. You will not
understand anything, but you will just need
to search people. Going, it creates an account
and you are good to go. There will also be average
education process with your e-mail and a
lot of bureaucracy, things kind of growing. So you will just
need to click on those short leaks For
do all the things. And then you will need
to add a social link. If you have, you don't
need a lot of them. You can just add your
personal Instagram account. Or if you want, you can create a dedicated
Instagram account or a Facebook account. At the beginning. This is not needed. You want to need
to do any type of advertising for these series. So back to the dashboard. We can add a quick bio. So I don't want to see my city and country
are my public profile. This is my email address. And basically
underbar you have to tell your customers a
little bit about you. It doesn't have to
be complicated. It can just be, Hi there. I like to make funny designs. No one basically will
search for this. It is really not needed. And then you just
save your changes. And that's it, basically. So this is my avatar. And in the next video, I'm going to show
you how to create an avatar and abandon
it for your account. So this is really
it for this video. If we're going back
to the dashboard, you will see that you
will check other bio, just give it some time. And then in the next one, we're going to see out and add
an amateur and the covert. So thanks for staying with me and we'll see you
on the next one.
4. Create A Banner: Welcome back. In this video, we're going to see and learn how to create
an avatar and a cover image. So we're going to click on
add a cover image first, as I have already
created the navigator, but it really easy. So images must be 2400
wide by 600 pixels. And the main website
that we are going to use for creating and designing
ultimately, our t-shirts. It's Futopia, which basically works
exactly like Photoshop. I mainly use Photoshop, but photo PIE, it's free
and Photoshop is note. So we're just going to click on Futopia.com and
click New Project. So we add so that we
need the project to be 2400 pixel, right? And 600 height. The background. I like to have it
transparent or ways. And we can just
choose to create. So this is, will be, this will be the
boundary for your shop. And let's see how
we can create it. So we lead to a little bit
of photoperiod basics. Once you eat the V key, you will have this arrow, which allows you to
move objects around it. And we can start creating and
designing our button here. So I like to have a kind of
funny fema for my shopper. I mean the Creator. Finally these lines and
funny t-shirts and stickers. So first, I selected
the gradient tool. You just need to press G. I've chosen this one, so orange and yellow sheets. And I want to be the
decision to be radio. So I've just pressed in
the center of my Canva. And then I draw a
line, the angle. So I will end up with
a thing like this. I kinda like it. I already did my avatar
in a similar rate. And the mean of my shop
is super-duper name and you will have to choose
choose a better one for sure. Yeah, basically,
at the background, you can also add a picture of something and maybe an
animal or something else. The important thing is to have an editor and a backroom
but are matching. So you can press T or just
click this team on this side. And this select the
side of your texts. So I selected bankers
because I like it. And once you click here
on the, on the canvas, you will just have to type
your shop name, in my case, is a super super-duper name. And let me just so super duper name. Let me expand it a little bit. So by hitting Control
plus and minus, you're going to zoom
in and zoom out. By holding Control. It will pop up this rectangle
in which you're in. If you drag just these shapes, you will expand and
resize your image. So this is the name of my shop. Now what I like to
do is to groups. So I erase it completely. What I like to do now, it's just to work the
text a little bit. So just to recap your work, this time, I'm going
to use is a flag. And here I will hit 25 per cent. And this is basically it. Now, I'm going to rasterize this layer and I'm going to duplicate,
duplicate this layer. Basically you
right-click, you'll get right-click on the layer. And click Rasterize
and then duplicate. So by clicking
super-duper named copy, okay, and holding
Control and click, left-click on the veto image. I'm going to select
only the letters. And then by clicking, by selecting the color. Here. Gun has a lighter one. And then clicking
Alto plus conscience, we add, we add
just colored hour. The next line. And then we can do
the same thing. Hold Control, left-click
on the literal image, and then go to the color section and
choose a darker color. So I'm going to use this color. Right? Click Alt plus couch, and then Control D
to de-select it. And basically, I'm
going to sorry, and didn't intend to do it. We've hit the button and then we're going to
get super-duper name, not the copy, which will
be the darker color. And then going and just
clicking the right arrow, sorry, the left arrow. And then a little bit, which gives the texts that
these shady effective. And that's basically it. Now I'm going to
hold the Control and click also super-duper
name copy, right-click and merge layers. So that I have one layer. Then I'm going to hit Control
a to select everything. And happier, we're
going to center our imaging by clicking
those buttons. Then I'm going to
press Control D. And that's basically it. We have our banner. It's not super cool,
but I like it. It's kinda funny
to me, at least. And now you just
have to click File, Save, sorry, export as a PNG. So the quantity is 100%. The format is PNG. The name will be banner dot PNG, and then you will click Save. Now you have
downloaded the file. You can go back to red bubble. So this will be
your cover image. You go into download and
just choose the file on your folder and
click Upload. Okay. Now you have to go down
and click Save Changes. And for the avatar, we just need to
create a new file. Just click New. And the
project will be 800 by 800. And you will do basically
the same thing. I suggest that, suggest
that the banner and the Avatar are matching. So I just did it the very
same thing with the banner. So id and grabbed
the gradient tool, choose the radial diffusion and just wrote super-duper Nana work the taxa color it a
little bit at the shade. And that was basically. So. Now that you have add
all those things, you can go back to
red bubble basically. And that's it. Thanks for following
during this video and we'll see each
other on the next one.
5. Create An Example Design: Hello and welcome back. This is our dashboard. Now we have completed
everything. We just need to add the design. So just click on it at a design. You will need to click on
Upload New World, but not now. First, we have to
create a design. So at the beginning, just to enable our shop
before the selling, we're going to create
just an example design. So go to Futopia, Dotcom, peak file, click New, and click wife per 1508, 5,400 DPI. And the pixel per inch is this, and the background
is transparent. And now you can create,
you can create. For this design. We're going to hit the T button. So the Texas tool, this time we're going to
use is mangers regular. So just hit a point
on the Canva. And we're going to
write cool example. For the sake of the video. You just need to create something out of,
out of the blue. It doesn't have to be perfect. So this is our example
for our design. We're going to move
it a little bit. Then we are going to
hit Control Plus eight. We're going to hit V and then move it in the
center horizontally. And this is our crew example. Obviously, our design will be, our designs will be, I bought more, better. But for this video. And just to add a new design, we're good with that. So just click File, save, export as a PNG. And the name will
be example dot PNG. We're going to hit Save. We have downloaded and we
just drag and drop the o. Sorry. You're going
to hit Upload Work, click on example,
and open the file. So the title will be cool. Example. This is just the theories,
the description. You won't need to longer and very detailed the
street and the description. Just to say, this is an example. And tax are cool. In this case, an example. Those, this is not a
correct way to do it, is just to upload a product. And then we're going to see now uploading
process to work. So we have already added a
title, tags and excretion. So once you click
those products, like standard print clothing
here will have to go down here and check those things
that are not checked it. Those are the products
and you will, you will want to add all the products that
red bubble is offering. You want to be the design
on top of the shirt like as APA as possible
on this rectangle. And then center the design or accidentally click
Apply Changes. And you will just have to do this thing over and over again. And when you select the default color for
premium t-shirts, premiums scoop t-shirts,
and lung t-shirts. You will have to
choose and selected the default columnar
manually for all of those. I don't know why, but written
bubble works like this. You will have a caps. So he doesn't have
to be perfect. Now, we're just going to do it for the sake of the video and just for opening
our workshop. So just to select it
down a little bit, click on enabled on everything, just to adjust
them a little bit. And then you're good to go. So you will have to
do the same process, process for every product. But we see, we will
see on greater detail, what do I mean by this? And just click this,
this material content. No, I have the rights
to sell the product. Who can do this work? Anybody? Public? The default product
in your shop floor? I recommend to be stickers. So there it is, sticker. And then media select up to two. You are going to
select design and illustration and digital art. So we're going to hit Save work. And this is our first design. It will take some
time for uploading. And this was just an example. Later in the course, we're going to learn how
to design a proper design. And then how to research
a niche for our design. And basically the real
process of print-on-demand. Basically, all that you will
do once you have set up, setting up your shop. So we're good to go. We can now view our shelf. So this is our
super-duper named shock. It will look like this. And then it says that there
are no designs. Don't worry. It just it's just uploading. We have uploaded a
couple of seconds ago. And then this is
basically eaten. So this is a workshop. In the next section, we're going to learn
how to choose, what to design and
how to design it. So thanks for staying with me and we'll see
you on the next one.
6. Tag & Niche Reasearch: Welcome back. This is our shop. And now we're going to
see what to design. So let's start with the basics. If you click on Redbubble, this will be the homepage.
7. Create A Real Design: In the last video, we saw
how to find it in each. So we found a Winnipeg bright
and the other partner. So when I checked it
and it is Canadian CT. And it says here Winnipeg
pride and so something related to the LGBT
plus community. And my idea is to create something that
represents both things. So I hit F4 to Pierre. I created the project
Five 1400 by 4,500. And I searched their
Canadian GBT flag, and I just search it, added to the search yet
free license to use it. So just on Google Images, you don't need a pretty
difficult websites. And going to play right-click
and copy this image. And hit Control V. To
add the deflection. When you click B and play and
press Transform Controls, you will pop up this. So if you're older, you can keep it in the center. So we're going to expand this flag creek
transform or Control. Click back on how to select it. And basically we have to choose. I went to write Winnipeg
and pride when the bank get above the flagging
and pride under it. And I want to
choose a cool font. I suggest that you use
a bold font like this. Black Hand Sans. I like you. These will be one, S, C. And we're going to
switch the color to black and just start writing. So I activated the Caps
Lock and going to write green infected heat to control. And tried to, sorry,
control class. So I won't go crazy. And try to expand this. Now I'm hitting Control minus. So I wanted to be really bold. So I'm going to expanding
it and expand it like this. Okay? I am going to click on this layer and go in and click
down again and to pride. And going to move it
down a little bit. And this is basically it. Designs don't, doesn't
have to be super complex. They have to be simple
and easy to understand. Now, I'm going to
create a new layer. Move it under everything else. Choose the dark theme. Darker colors. Sorry. He did that Paint Bucket tool. I'm just, I just right-click
on the gradient tool. And now what I want to do is rasterize this
layer and this layer. So with the text one,
I'm going to choose to select this and this,
sorry, only Winnipeg. So control and left-click
on Whitney Peggy. Then I'm going to catch
on this Control D. Then I'm going to click on the pride Control
and click down here. Sorry. This all right, eye. So when you click Control, click on the Winnipeg. I misspelled it. We're going
to rasterize it both layers. We're going to click on
Winnipeg and control and hit today EMS books. Then we're going to select a white color and
click on the couch. Then we're going
to hit Control D, selected private layer, hold
control and click, right. Then when going to hit
again Alt plus catch. And basically controlling. Now we're going to hold
control and select all of our layers and click New Folder. So we're going to group
them, everything. So we're going to move
it up a little bit. Then we're going to
switch the colors. It, the black, press the button, select the layer two, which is on the back, and add the background. Basically, this will be
our finished product. The black background. He is not needed for the uploading process
by these just to see final image of
these of our design. Then we've grown
into heat, Greek, layer runner, Hank, hold
control and click everything. We're going to hit Control
plus a and the center, everything in the middle, and then hit control plus D.
So everything is centered. Now we're just going to
hit to hide these layer. Click File, click Export as PNG. We're going to name it. We need peg, PNG and hit Save. So this is our first
real design Brand going to go back and read Bible. And in the next video, we're going to see how loaded properly and do a
proper type research.
8. Upload A Design To Your Shop: Welcome back. In this video, we're going to talk to them,
we're going to upload it. Did decide that we are created, we have created in the
last video, which is this. So going to click on, Add a New Work,
upload, new work. We need peg open. Okay. And now we're going
to choose the title, which gonna be Winnipeg pride. And then we're going to choose the background color
for all the shirts. We will choose black. Black. Awesome Sass, better
than white shirts. And as you can see, all the, almost all products as being selected to
back as a default. And now we're going
to edit this t-shirt. We're going to activate older kids and toddler
T-Shirts and products. We're going to choose
black as the basic design. We're going to move it a
little bit up and then center it right there. Same thing here,
where you're going to centering, centering
horizontally. And then we're going to
choose black at all. These premium t-shirts. Remember, you have to
do them singularly. And then click Apply Changes. And now we're going to
adjust all the products. I suggest that black
for all the products. Okay. And then you're
basically going to enable all the
products there are disabled and adjust them. So I'm gonna do it, okay, so now I have adjusted all
the products, as you can see. And for example, this
teacher here won't, you won't see it because
we have a good white text. And also on other projects, there will be the same problem. And also just a quick mention, on-demand, you have to
put it on the right side. And then on let me see. Yeah. On the miniskirts, the leggings, socks, backpacks,
and defiled bags. I have just put a pattern. You can just click Edit and you can do it for all the products. Just pattern and click offset grid and then
escaped the image it to like around nine
or ten per cent. You can just look whatever
looks better under product. And then what I'm
going to do now is to create the exact same
design on photo PR, but with black texter so we can adjust it for the stickers
and the other products. So I just went to Futopia
and edited picture. So I just changed the
color of the text. And I replaced the image. You just click on the
product, click Replace. You mentioned, and click on
new file with the black text. And I've done it for the cartoon tote bag
and DI water bottle. It just go down here. You just press design and
illustration, digital art. You put the default
product sticker. This is not mature content. And before saving the word cat, we haven't do the
most important part, which is target research. So we have found in each and which one you want
to publish this design, but we don't have many
tags to publish it on. So the first is obviously
will be Winnebago Bride. And we can add like
up to 50 about the subjects to these 15 relevant rather than
taxon or upload. Which is also what
I suggested to you. For doing this. I
suggest if you go on merchandise and automation
on this link here, you just need to search, marriage Titans automation, read Bob, both data generator. You can put the tablet. You will have to register
on this website. Your predicted get to tax. It will load and we do it. It will give you a list of
relevant tax for this keyword. So why would you need
it in the first place? Because when someone
was searched for similar phrase or word
that you put in the taxi, for example, Canada or Toronto. Your result, your design will
pop up on the page result. Even if you're, if the
title is, for example, peg pride, if you put
Ottawa, it will pop up. Anyways. So once you have all those taxa, I suggest to click Format and copy and just copy
and paste them. But we pay attention to these like these long lists of Winnipeg pride
when it by Friday. Those people that are
using these tags are using it to boost the
rank and the pager. I don't have that advisor
to do this because red bubble is banning people for doing this kind of stuff. So just click Format and copy
tax and copy the relevant. But if you do, if you want to do a better
version of all of this, you can do another thing. You go down on red bubble, go to Winnipeg pride, and start to open the
best-selling products, which are relevant keyword. And start searching for date the types that these
people who use them and check if the
tax that they had used that are under 600 results. You want to go down
here and on the list, old product taxon,
you just click it. You open it, you just open a new tab with all
of these. Okay. And then you just copy and
paste them if they are under 600 results per page. In your toggle this down here. Once you've do these process, you can publish your work. You need a description, but really you don't have
to be too much creative. For example, this is a
Winnipeg cried design. Hope you enjoyed and
you are good to go. So now I will create and research Paulista of
at least 15 taxa. Wait for publishing these design and then we are good to go. I have done the research here. Here, use shirt fleece of tax. You don't have to
use all the 15. And those stacks don't
have to be all under 600. You just need some common
sense in which you use it. They shouldn't be relevant. So I've chosen this one and
many others for our niche. And then we can go down here. Remember to choose
their sticker as a default view because it wants the customer will
see this thicker. And other products with decent
design will show opera. And they will be more
likely to buy a shirt. And also stickers. If they buy just the stickers, you can put high-margin of
profits on the stickers. So you just need to
be on Save work. It will process the work. You have to wait some time until it shows up
in your shelter. And then you are
really good to go. You have to do this
process of researching it, creating it, and do
the tag research. And all of these many, many, many more times before
getting some sales. And then when they shop
gets some traction, you will send to, you will start to rank higher on these pages. And you will start to see
your very first sale. So which will be a very
good thing for you. So this is our product. Now, this is not supposed
to be like this. My Internet connection
is just too slow. So you have to be patient. There we go. This is a magnet very
similar to this thicker. And the basically we
are, we have done. And if you want to
repeat the same process, so suppose you have
another design, just click on adenine work
and to copy an existing work. So you'll create
another design based on the dimension that we have already used in photophobia. So 4,500 by 5,400. And when you have done this, you can just click
here Copy Settings. And you will just replace old images and start moving them around to
adjust them properly. But you won't have to do all the hard work that
you did the first time. You will obviously need
to change the title and the taxi and then excretion. And really you're good to go. For example, if you want to create a design for
Phyllis DLL Padron, Eugen can just
take some texture. Right? To finish
the other Padre. I don't know, a hard estar
ahead to like all of this. And you can just go on couple of
your work changed the title changes
the test detects. Adjust a little bit down
here, what he's done. And for making look better. And then you're good to go. Another quick mention is to select the Default
product as a manga, I've found that seekers and
maggots sells very well. In fact, if you see
Winnipeg pride, mostly, those are stickers. Okay. And they refute t-shirts. The fact that week
the T-shirts is that the product is
niches specific. So mostly if you see a
trending design like this, it will be rare
case that you can push the t-shirt unless
your search, niche. Searching is not
exactly for a t-shirt, you will just need to
put sticker or among those products are cheaper and customers are more
likely to buy them. So thanks again for staying
with me with this one.
9. Other Niche Research Methods: Hello and welcome back. I just wanted to show
you in this video and other method to find
your niche to design in. But first, let me address some of the things that I said
in the previous video. So it is right that
you have to put your design mainly on niche, that it has got less
than 600 results. But in the tax is not necessary
to have less than 600. But I wouldn't
suggest it to the tax that you Putin at less
than 5 thousand results, or at least if you
can do thousand. But that's a general
group that we've had to, to generate more
sales, more sales. So back to the video. Another great method
to create and choose the niche to create
design is to just to type a letter of the
alphabet, for example a. And then here you will
have three results are laughter that are
currently trending. Will see this nice little
arrow that is going up. Those are Misha and tax that people are
searching this day. So if we, for example, search abortion
rights, you will see that it has 330
thousand results. So it's not good for us. But if you stick to it and
search for every letter, eventually you pop up but with some niche that is
under 600 results. So again, if you Putin just
a letter, for example v, you will find burner
rate burning rays male, though, by well-made found
bands of our bodies. And you just can go
for C and then D, and then E, et cetera. You're basically
run out of letters. And this is also a really
valid metal method to find your niche,
to design in. Just to look at those niches to that hasn't
less than 600 results, and then you are good to go. Another method is going on. So if you go down
here and search for funny t-shirts on
general clothing, you can search and add a filter for searching which are the best selling
or as it's sold recently, just need to go to
advanced search and search including
sold listing. And then you are good to go. So if you just go on
advanced and like I said, and then click on sold listings. You will see that there
are really cool t-shirts that you can just recreate that are not on Redbubble, let's say. And the one with a white background that is
usually done on a computer, it seems, are the ones
that are also doing print-on-demand it and add
data are also selling it. So if you search by the first, by the latest, the sale, you will end up also with
new inspiration that is not on red Babu. And you could just if
put it down out there, search for the tax, and then you can
publish your design. This is it for this video. You can also check
on other things, but those are minor stuff. If you start like this, you will get good. You will get, if
you stay consistent and start publishing
designs daily. There's a daily limit
of 60 designs per day, which you can upload
on Redbubble. But trust me, it will
be very difficult. At the beginning.
As you do this, the process will
start a little slow. You'll need the five designs on read Bible before you can
start making any sales. But in a more honest way, I will say at least 30
before getting any sale. Even though red bubble
don't write about this, I found it to be that very case. And yes, this is, this is it. You can justice the Arctic. And in the next videos and going to show you
the long term strategy, we took print on demand. So thanks again, and we'll
see you on the next one.
10. Product Pricing: Let's suppose that
you have uploaded all five yard designs that you are doing your
research correctly. Now let's start by talking
about the pricing details. So you should just go down here, tips for new sellers and click review your
product pricing. You will end up on this page. So this percentage
here shows Ola, shows that margin
that you are earning from selling up
specific product. So bags, for example, grocery bag here, so
forth, 29.49 Euros. And your margin
will be for euros, which is about almost $5. Now we want to change
it those markups. And at the beginning, I will say start as low side with 15 for basically
every finger. And later as you start
getting more sales, you can increase
them by very much. Break sample. I would
say that you can already start with 30% for mugs, 40 per cent for magnets, which is pretty good. Then at 20 per cent for tape
is three ratings cards. You can bump them,
bumping up really, really high, like
70% or even more. On my current profile, my main shop, I have it. I have them on a 100% percent. And then on, let's see, in buttons, 40 per cent. And on all the
stickers, so glossy, transparent and the normal one, you can put up to 80 per cent
at the beginning upfront. And you will start to
sell very quickly, very quickly, and
earn decent margin. So you can also add up to a 150. I'm saying like 150 per cent when you start
getting a lot of tech sales, which is, for example,
for the first, let's say 50 sales, then you can bump
them up by 10%. And the maximum, I would say
for everything else is 25. For all the bags,
socks, t-shirts, and all of them basically 25, at least at a maximum or a Thursday if you're really
selling really high. Because if the
margin is to hide, the price in total will go up. And the people are not going to buy something that is too much, it's too expensive basically. So this is it, these are the margin that I suggest
to you in the beginning. You can hire them as
your sales will go up.
11. Useful strategies: Hello and welcome back. So as I said in the
previous videos, stickers are very, very
good for making sales. In fact, sticker packs are the thing that will boost
your sales even more. As you saw before. In our designs, we have
just put one image. But if you go on the upload process and you click on the sticker one
and replace the image. You can upload a sticker
pack, for example, you so you sold, you can sell, sorry, one sticker For nine. Basically, they're
paying one year and thirty-six cents for nine
stickers on less than one. You can do the same thing. Be careful to copyright rights. And basically, all of
these sticker packs can sell you really,
really well. And you can also bump up the
margin for selling them. You can see this
setting for $2 to Euros instead of one and
something to yours and €4,549. So you can really high
up the margin here. And it will be worth it because the customer is getting
not one sticker, but many, many more. So this is it. And also another thing worth mentioning
are written skirts. So written skirts are really
helpful to making sales. You can sell them
for a high-margin. You can make really
funny and stupid ones. Those will be the
stupidest, the batter. I will say. You can
sell them really high because if you buy ten stickers or Dan
greetings cards, you will see, you will
receive a discount. So you can look at this by three and
get 20 per cent off by Dan and get
30 by 15 and get 35. So this costumer is very likely to place a big border
on those products. So you want to focus your attention on the
products that can have the highest margin and the most probability
to sell stickers, radians, cards, T-shirts,
I will say yes, but focus more on stickers
and greetings cards. Also Moxa cells very well. And then also tapestry. Person, athlete. I have made really good money
with the tape histories, which are dose because they sell for really, really high prices. And the light for once
a year you can up like $10 or in something
which is really, really high. Imagine if you sell one
tape is three a day, you just made really high money, like $300 per month, which is very cool
in my opinion. And yes, you can just search on the rent Bible, popular tags, search if there are any specific research by the costumers for
tape is three Matson, for example, coffee mugs. And so it sorts by results. You can see this
is a 1 thousand, you can still try it. I mean, or maybe tape history. Really solved by results. You can see that those are Gabi, suicide boys, et cetera. And if you find that really good niche
that is selling well, for example, you start selling
in the Tokyo World papers. You can design stickers, greeting cards, and paper three. Team, Dubai, Tokyo, or
mountains for example. And this is basically
the strategy. So you have to do the research, go on to this side, start to design a
new photocopier. You can also consider
two by two by Photoshop. It's a monthly subscription. Subscription. I think it's really
affordable. It's really cool. It works way better than Futopia and it will boost your
time and efficiency. So this is basically the
strategy and the long term. You want to have
at least hundreds of designs before
getting any sales. Remember to stay patient. To keep yourself motivated
and series with come. You have to trust
yourself and the process. You will get them. You can also do
your own research. And in order to create a
better and better designs, better and better stickers, how to use it, how to
better use Photoshop. This is all up to
you and this is not the goal of this
course to teach you how to use Photoshop and to design the coolest and graphic
design t-shirt possible. I'm not that good and
it's not that useful. Basic anti-military. You just need to
gain a really high, high experience on tag research. Investing your
time in this thing will help you get really, really dance off sales. I can even tell you how
much sales I made just by focusing on where to sell some finger and not what
I am selling really. And yes, this is it. In the next video, we
are going to talk about copyright issues and
how to avoid them.
12. Copyright Issues: Hello and welcome back. Today we're going to talk about copyright issues and trademarks. So basically, you can publish your design on every niche and you can't design everything. For example, if you search, you see that you can
probably share design. I don't know, On
Stranger Things. You go here, you see that you can create a similar design. You will just search. For example, I don't
know Stranger Things. On Google. You will hit on images. We'll just copy and paste
the logo on a shirt. If you do it, red bubble will
strike you and we'll take down your design because this is a copyright infringement. So basically, what you have
to do is check if there, if there is any
trademark or copyright on the thing or underneath
that you want to design. So in order to do that, you have to go to
trademark, yahoo.com. This is the website and
search trademark here. Stranger Things. You hit search. And as you can see, there is a pizza mark for Stranger Things and
also the clothing. And I'm bunch of other
stuff we did the logo on. So if you go against
the copyright law, your design will be taken down. And if you, if
your designs will, we'll be taken down too often. Red bubble is going
to close your shop. You will lose all
of your designs. And with that, all
of your earnings. So it's something that
you have to be careful. In my history in publishing
designs on red Babu. My first, my first
shop that I had opened when I was still learning how to
do all this stuff. You've got to take him down
and you have to open one again and start from
scratch and nothing really. Because when you upload something and starts
to sell, basically, it gains traction
and it gains some, I don't know, points or ranking. I would say on the page on the niche and on the
red bubble in general. So losing all of that can
be very, very frustrating. I know for sure. And please, please, please
search for copyright, permission before you
publish anything, or even before you start
crenate creating anything. Even if you are designing for, sorry, M ring low results. Like Elton John for sure
has a copyright on it. And also can you would Ferrari, red bubble bed, Bonnie, all those things as
a god to trademarks. Don't risk please. It's not worth it in the end. You want to sell things
that are trending. Yes. But you don't want to get
your shop closed for this. So be very careful. And also trademark check here, all of the tags
that you are using, two that you are using in your taxa listed when you
are uploading your product. For example, search
for acute posters. You see that I don't know. I call the tags will
be animal usage. You search for animal here. And as you can see, they're easily
animal trademarks. But be careful, you can
still use animal tagging, the animal tag
because it's way too general to copy ad copy
an avid copyrighted. Basically, you have to
stay vigilant between what you are designing it and what
tags that you are using it. So be very careful, um, do your own research before
publishing anything. It's your responsibility
to do that. And really all that
you want to do. You don't want to have your designs taken down
and your shop closed. Also, there are things that you don't have to worry about. Talking about copyright. Because if you search for
red Babu partner program, you can get some grants that are working with red Babu and weeklies artists to
create some designs. You have to see all
the guidelines, all the rules that today a brand is offering
to read bubble. And you can possibly
start to create some designs for these brand, which brings with it a
really good audience. For example, the keys rock band, it has a really, really high fanbase that
wants to buy kits itself. So you can see here all the guidelines
and see how it works. Usually it isn't this groove. And you can also see all the guidelines for all the programs
that are out there. And this is another strategy, I highly recommend it to you. You will have a thumb
of things to try out before getting
a consistent sales. And this is it. Thanks for staying with me.
13. Conclusion: Welcome back. This will
be our last video. So this is our shop so far. Not so cool, but we have a
diet with adequate of success. In this video, I want to talk about the conclusion
of this course. What have you learned? You
have learned what he is, print and demand, how it works, how to do properly. We are niche research to design. We'd have free software and basically how to start your
print and demand business. Thanks for staying with
me during this course. I hope that you have like it. I'm very grateful for a few. I have come this far by taking a dog and went through
all discourse. And yes. Thanks again. And you should
have any question. Feel free to email me at
anytime. Thanks again. And wish you all the luck
possible for your print on demand business and shocked on red bubble or on
any other website. So thanks again and we'll see each other
maybe in the future. I don't know. Good
luck with everything.
14. BONUS 1: Sticker Pack Tutorial: Hello and welcome back. In this video, I'm going to show you how to create
a sticker pack. So let's say that you have found your niche which has
less than 600 results. You have decided what
to design and you have decided also to create
a sticker pack. Let's see how we can do this. So first, you will need to go on the dashboard and click
on manage portfolio. Down here. It will pop up this page. Those are all of your
works uploaded so far. Let's say that we want
to and a sticker pack. So you want to upload a new product with the
Winnipeg pride design. For example. Click edit, and then scroll down until
you find the stickers. So this is the sticker. And if you click on Edit, we have seen that if you
click on Replace Image, it will replace the image for
the sticker, magnets, etc. So by doing this, we can create an image that
has multiple images in it. And we'll see how to do it. And then by uploading,
uploading the image. Here, you will see that you have just
created a sticker pack. So we're going to
go on photo pia. We're just going to
create a new Canva. I suggest that we create
a new file and do it. Six thousand, six
thousand pixels. The two transparent
background and click Create. So let's say that the niche is different for from
the Winnipeg pride one. And that you have found that
a specific niche that has a high demand greetings niche. So you will have
to design a lot of ways to meet and greet people. For example, we can just select
the Bowlby one SSC font. Click here, and type hello. Hit Control Plus to zoom in. Hold the Control and drag it. Neatly mentioned, Control minus
to zoom out a little bit. We're going to
click Control Plus out to stick it in the center. Contour minus. And we don't want the
image to be bigger. We want it to be kind of small. So once you have done it, click on a text layer, click on v, so you
can move it around. And we're going to place it on the left corner of the camera. So we're going to hit T again
and write a new tax them. And let's say we write high
rate to the exclamation mark. We're going to heat that
the text layer too. I'm going to hit the button on the keyboard and
place it, sorry. Transform controls. We're going to enlarge
it a little bit. Okay? We're going to hit Okay. Uncheck Transform Controls. And let's place it on the
right side of the cabinet, up on the right side. So if we type something else,
let's say, congratulations. Next, we are going to
hold the Control down. And we're going to shrink
the image a little bit. Okay, We're going to hit
the text layer tree. Are you going to hit V? And then click Transform
Controls again in order to shrink the
image a little more. Then we're going to
hold control here. And then we're going to
adjust it a little bit. So let's click, Enter, click, uncheck, sorry,
just Pharma controls. I'm going to place it,
congratulations down here next to re going to
write something else. So let's say that those
things that you are writing are relevant to the
niche that you have found. Let's click confirm. And let's say that we
are good with that. Then we can press V and click on Hello rasterized layer
and duplicate the layer. So we can move it around
and we have a second hello. We're going to click on
high rasterize layer and then duplicate, Duplicate Layer and go
into move around it again. High. So if we save Dean and just
so as we export it as a PNG. And let's say that this
is our sticker pack. We're going to name it. Stickers. Save. Click on the X button down here. And then click on,
Replace image on here. Let's say we want to
upload. A stickers. Will take some time to upload. And then as you can see, we're going to click on Edit. You have to look
at the background. You will have to have some separation between
the white parts. If you have a big white massa. So if those words are older, combined into one
big white thing, those words or those images will stick together when you will try to
remove one sticker. Basically one word in this case, or one image represents
one sticker. So we have created six of
them in just one product. And if we click
on Apply Changes, we have created a sticker pack. You can do it with a text to
images and all other stuff. I'm not going to save this work, but if you want to and if you have a founder
relevant work, relevant images and saying, I don t know, for your niche, you will just need
to click Save work. But as you can see
here on red Babu, This person has uploaded
nine pictures as I separated them on a canvas like
we did in photophobia. And basically upload
it on Redbubble and set a sticker as a default view for their
part from the product. As you can see also this person as uploaded a lot more stickers. And the more the better, basically, but stick
to be relevant. As you can see here
in this image. Those are the future
is accessible and no human Inigo are
merged into one sticker. You want to have? I did. So be careful and space your
images and texts that well, in order to not have
them merged together. This is it for this video. And we'll see you
on the next one.
15. BONUS 2: Class Project: Hello and welcome back. In this video,
we're going to talk about the project
of this course. Basically, you will have to do the entire process
that I've shown you. So this is our shop. Next, you will want to go to the red Babu popular
tags website and find a niche that has
at least 600 results, sorry, below 600 results. So just to order the
products per results, just click here on results
and then find a niche. And then go ahead
to photophobia. Click New Project. And select it like we
did in the course. Four thousand, five hundred and five
thousand, four hundred. Critique, background,
transparent key to create. And then once you have found your niche and
everything else, designed the product,
upload it to your shop, and do really well. Search for the tax that you are going
to use them by using merged item automation or by searching just
to own Red bubble. So you can choose whatever niche research
method that you prefer. And next, you're going
to upload your project. I'll wish you all the
best and good work. We'll see you on the next one.
