About This Class

There is so much magic in sitting there, just closing your eyes and letting your mind’s vision blossom into the most beautiful daydream

This is the elegance and power of visualization

A simple yet insanely sophisticated tool you can do just by peeking into the screens of the future and all the potential it holds

and yet it is a process misrepresented and misunderstood by so many, myself included

Having made countless mistakes and asked myself a thousand times “how could I possibly get this wrong?!”, I have finally cracked the code…

I felt the “click” in my belief system, and I want you to feel it too.

So I put together this course to introduce Visualization as a manifestation and goal achieving technique to those you who are wild enough to dream, for those of you who are bold enough to reach for the stars…

THIS IS FOR YOU IF YOU DESIRE TO…

  • Understand the potency behind this practice
  • Feel confident that you know you’re getting it right and in tune with your future
  • Step into the best version of yourself and start embodying those qualities
  • Feel natural as you drift in and out of your visualization without forcing yourself
  • Actually believe with conviction that what you see in your visions as your new reality

You will gain mastery of this technique not only from the video and materials, but because of your understanding of what makes it all “click”.

WE WILL COVER:

  • What to focus on in your visualization
  • How to zoom in on the details
  • How to experience your vision as though it has already happened
  • How to experience the future version of your Self
  • How much time and frequency is best for you
  • When to actually stop visualizing

By the time you walk away from this course, you’re going to have so much more confidence in yourself to create your own individualized practice. That’s all it takes for you to go from - “I have no idea if I’m doing this right” to “Oh my gosh I got this!!!”

Ready to whip your manifestations to the next level?

I’ll see you on the inside :)

1. WHAT TO EXPECT : Hello, hello, you guys are welcome to this new course on Skillshare. I'm super excited to have you guys here. My name is Eunice Chan and I talk all things about self-expression, self-development, self awareness, self expansion, All things about the cell. So if you enjoy this kind of content, like if you're the kind of person who's like, I just want to improve my life and I want to reach to a better place. I want to live my dream life. Then this video is going to be for you. And today we're talking about visualization. It's this such a powerful tool that I have used in my life that I feel has changed the course and has changed who I am. And so today we're going to talk about how exactly do we use it to activate your vision? And how do we understand and nuances in-betweens so that we understand how to maneuver through our visions and how do we maneuver through our emotions so that we can reap the most benefits from this tool video is going to be for you if you don't have any understanding of visualization at all. Or if you have tried visualization a few times and you want to deepen your experience with it. You want to deepen your journey and what visualization can do for you. And you know that like how there's gotta be more than you're gonna love this video also, we're going to talk about some of the most powerful ways to practice and perform visualization. We're going to talk about how do we optimize it with time and frequency and practice. And so you could just enjoy the benefits immediately instead of wondering to yourself if I did it right, if I got it right, if I if I kind of messed up, not really sure, you finish this program, you will have the confidence that, you know, every single time you walk in and you walk out of your visualization, you know that you're nailing it every time. So if this sounds good to you, I am super excited to take you into the process. And with that said, let's dive in. 2. THE AFTERWAVE EFFECT: So one of the things that I love most about visualization is that it's ridiculous how simple it is. It's taught so many times they show many videos about it. So my articles about it, there's so many teachers who teach it. It's really simple and yet I feel it's also very misunderstood. It's also misinterpreted. And so in this course, I want to talk about the nuances of why visualization is powerful and how it exactly works. What is essentially is, is basically sitting down closing your eyes. Or maybe you could do it without even closing your eyes. Maybe you're a daydream or you look out the window and you already see your vision across the sky. But it's essentially the act of projecting a mental image outwards and then it kinda evoking a feeling afterwards. And then it's as simple as that. It's as simple as that. So where is the magic? The times where I felt most power and most potency come after my visualization practices is usually when I experienced the after wave. Now when I talk about the after wave, I'm referring to the effects that come after the visualization practice. So it's not necessarily about the practice itself. I'm not talking about the practice alone in isolation. I'm talking about I'm referring to the effects that come after in the day, in the hours and the weeks following of my visualization. So what's very interesting here is that it's actually not just about the time where I'm sitting down and practicing my vision. It's not about me just casting my vision out. It's about the ripple effect that comes after my visualization. Kinda like to use the analogy of like dropping a stone into a pond, into a still pond. When you drop the stone, it's when the event happens. That's the cause of the event. But then the effect of what you get after dropping this stone to the pond is you get the ripples, the ripples that start to circle outwards into its environment. I imagined this is what happens in a very effective visualization, is when you launch that vision into your energetic field, you launch it emotion into your body. You start to experience the after waves of that emotion when you carry yourself into your day, when you carry yourself into work, when you carry yourself into conversations, you start to experience the after wave. So what was really interesting to me and with super fascinating for me about effective visualization is how we changed the way we carry ourselves. After a very powerful visualizations session in the following videos, I'm also going to talk about how do we position ourselves so that we can met, maneuver our energy and emotions differently? I'll see you in the next video. 3. RAISE YOUR EMOTIONAL BASELINE: Now I kinda have a, an unspoken rule when it comes to doing my own visualizations. And I haven't really shared this with anyone, but I'm sharing it with you right now, is that I have a baseline emotion that I'm feeling. And I found that when I am on this baseline emotion, my visualizations always turn out to be more effective. I've realized that when I carry myself into the visualization practice, when I'm already in a good mood, when I'm already feeling high vibrational, when I'm feeling blissful, when I'm feeling relaxed, when I'm feeling calm, when I'm feeling excited. Like I realized that nine out of ten times, my visualization practice is even more amplified for the lack of a better word. So my baseline emotion will then be, I feel good, right? Whatever that means to you. When you raise your baseline emotion for when you start your visualization practice, it's going to transform your practice alone like that itself. It's going to enhance it like a 110 times, a 100 times. And you're going to feel so much better and a lot more effortless going into those emotions, like as you carry yourself into the visualization. As opposed to starting a visualization when you don't already feel good, always visualize out of fun and desire and pleasure and relaxation. Like whatever that baseline emotion is for you. Always visualize out from that place and go into it with the expectation that you're just going to enjoy the experience. That's my tip for you in this video, and I'll see you in the next one. 4. THE MAIN CHARACTER: Now the way that I was taught to visualize and the way that I learned that I think is quite similar to what a lot of people learn when they first are introduced to visualization. It's actually quite an overwhelming experience if you think about it. I've been told to focus on the scenery and focus on the environment where I project my future desired reality to be in. And I've been told to think of as many details as possible, to think of as many sounds, sight, touch, sensations as possible. And it was overwhelming. It was like an overload for my system because I didn't know if I was doing it right. I don't know how much details to put. People did say that, you know, put as many details as you want. Now, I personally did not enjoy that experience. So what I did is I divided the visualization into two parts. The first part, which I'm going to introduce to you right now, is focus on yourself first. Now why did I do it this way? The reason for that is because everything that comes from your visualization comes from you. First, it comes from your desires. It comes from what you want to feel, what you want to experience. How do you see yourself? So how do you see yourself is going to be the starting point essentially. So when you're able to notice yourself first, you notice sessions, you'll be feeling what kind of emotions you'll be carrying, what you're looking at. How do you carry yourself? What is your demeanor in that given visualization, you will start to be able to experience the kind of person that you are becoming. You will be able to have a feel of the person that you're growing into as opposed to like kind of experiencing a shockwave of all the details, having to think about all the details at the same time. So the first thing that I would love for you to focus on, the next time you do, your visualization is, what are your most prominent emotions? You think about that. What do you most desire to feel? You can even pull up a journal as an assignment. You can just pull out a journal and start to write out like What do I most desire to feel in my future reality? Do I want to feel successful? Why I want to feel healed and peaceful? Do I want to feel like I'm in love? Do I want to feel creative? I'm just like creating things all the time. I'm making things. Do I want to feel confident, fearless in front of people? I want to feel curious with people, want to build really close relationships. So those are the things to explore within yourself first. And then what you do is you carry those emotions and then you magnify that in your vision. Project that into a vision of seeing yourself and feeling yourself experiencing those emotions. So you just kind of like magnify, you'd like really magnify that into your vision. You could be notice yourself doing things. You could be like holding hands or hugging, more like kissing or speaking or shaking hands, like having a firm handshake or getting onto a plane, for example. You'll start to see those emotions translate into like a picture or a vision. So that is your first assignment for today is to figure out what is it that you want to feel, get clarity on that. And then you go experienced that in your vision and really zoom in and focus on yourself. 5. CATCH THE IMPRESSION: And then part two of the exercise is to zoom out. Now when you have really honed in and zoomed in on who you are as a person you zone, you zoomed in on the quality, you've refined it. You understand how it is you feel, who you are being, what qualities you're embodying, then now it is time to zoom out into the bigger picture. I really want you to imagine like taking a camera and like pulling backwards. And you know, your, your picture or your screen captures more details around you, then you can start to notice what environment would you be in, who surrounds you? What kind of sound, sight, touch like, you know, the things that you start to notice around you in your environment, you can start to pick up on that a bit. What's also really important for me, especially in my visualizations, is noticing the ambience. So it could be like the vibe of the place and the music that comes with a place as well as sounds that come with the place. But like more than anything, it's paying attention to the impression. It's the impression of what you have of the play's, not even necessarily of the details. So you don't have to know exactly who's going to be there and exactly what they're doing and what they're holding, and what conversations are happening. You don't exactly need to get those details, but it's important to zoom out, zoom out of yourself, and get like get a capture of the impression around you so that you have a feel of the place. But what's really fun about this is when you start to have an impression that energy starts to circulate, you start picking up on, okay. Yeah, it's it's kinda feels this way. I don't exactly have all the details right now, but it doesn't matter because the details are going to come when that when I'm thinking about it, when I'm like, you know, when I get inspired, when I'm walking, when I get inspired from seeing someone, the inspiration is going to hit you so you don't have to worry so much about not having all the details. This is the place where you get to be the most playful. One thing about having an impression of a place without having to have all the details, is that you can be really playful with the elements in your visualization. You can be really loose like it's like, Oh, I'm trying this thing doesn't work. No, it doesn't work. I'm trying this thing. Does it work? Nope, doesn't work. I'm trying to think. Oh, yeah, that fits right into the picture like that feels good. You can be a lot more playful with your vision as opposed to having to have all the details like in my future vision of a house. I don't exactly know what the color table is going to look like, so I don't I'm not going to force myself to make that decision. You say You see what I'm saying? It's like I don't know what the color of the tiles are going to be or what this person is going to be saying, it doesn't matter. But what matters is I have an impression that my new, my new house, for example, is going to be like a nature vibe or relaxing vibe, or I want a coffee house vibe, right? So I kinda keep that impression in, in my mind. And whenever I see something on a magazine or I see something in my reality, I'm like it's so it becomes really playful and it becomes a really fun process. So pick up on the impression and if you see any details you want to add to your vision and that's the time that you can add to it. So with that said, we'll see you in the next video. In the next video we're gonna be talking about how much time to put into your visualizations. 6. IN PERFECT TIME: So one thing that I find most fascinating about the visualization practice is that there's no fixed way to do it. There's no fixed amount of time, but you have to do it. It's amazing how this practice actually allows you to intuitively find what is the right amount of time for you. But I would say for effectiveness sake and for our attention sake, I would say at least start with anywhere from two to five minutes. Like if you ever really, really short attention span, then do it for a shorter period of time. You don't want to force yourself to sit down and then force yourself to think about this when you're like your mind is drifting to other places. So it really depends on who you are and how you operate. This is going to require you to really get to know yourself and understand how you operate and really get to know yourself. And if you're someone who likes to indulge in the details a little more than you might want to extend the time where you're visualizing. So it's really up to you. I think one important thing to remember, especially when it comes to building your own practice, is to listen to yourself. Because this is one thing that we've never really been taught to do. If I'm given a prescription of how much time to do it, then I don't have to think about it. I don't have to listen to my body. But if I'm told that I need to sort of gauge, I've got to listen to my body. Then I'm starting to pay a little more attention to how I'm feeling. And I'm starting to assess what works for me and what doesn't work for me. One thing I also want to mention is that time is not the measurement of how effective your practice is, right? So it's not the amount of minutes that you are looking to fulfill here. It's not about, Oh, I've got to do like 30 minutes of visualization every day. And it's gonna be a fixed number. It's the feeling of magic and wonder and like a static feeling and amazement and all, and love and warmth that you feel from your visualization that is going to hit it right home. And so there is no exact amount of time if you are just beginning your practice, I would say start from anywhere between three to five minutes. Then if you desire and if your time allows and your schedule allows, then allow yourself to extend the amount of time yourself to practice, to find the right amount of time for you. Play around with that a little bit and listen to your body to what it's telling you. If you're enjoying it, if you want to get out of it. And that's how you can tell. This is how you can find the optimal practice time for your visualizations. In the next video, we're going to talk about frequency and how often you should be practicing your visualizations in the day. 7. PERFECT FREQUENCY: So the frequency of your practice is based on how familiar you want to be with the feeling and everyone is going to be different. So if you have been in my courses before, and if you've seen a previous video about how much time to dedicate to your practice. You'll know Eunice right here. It goes by the field, good method, and it's all about how much time, how much frequency feels good for you. I'm just talking about frequency. We want to look for how familiar can you become with the feeling? My answer gonna be. Just do as many times as you need to become familiar with a feeling so that your body remembers how that feels, so that that becomes your new normal. So you can kinda carry that emotion or carry those feelings from your visualization throughout your day. So my answer for you is basically as many times as you need. The analogy that I wanna make is kind of like throwing an anchor over a ship. If you have like rapid currents or if you have very strong winds and your anchor is not heavy enough, you might want to throw a few more. How many anchors you want to throw overboard will depends on if your anchor is heavy enough or if it's going to secure it in place. The same with your emotions in the day. Like how many times do you want to practice to recognize this feeling in your body? That is the amount of times that you want to practice. I would encourage you to do is pull out your calendar and put a few slots in your schedule so that you can be reminded to do your visualization practice and then assess like that's when you listen to your body, like assess how you feel in between those hours, between your visualization practice. Then if you notice that you're feeling tends to slip a bit more in the day or you feel like maybe I need a bit more grounding or I need to reconnect with my vision a little more than you can add more frequencies and intervals in-between your day, but that is completely up to you. This is when you start to listen to your body and you learn to listen to the feedback that your emotions are giving you. In the next video, we're going to talk about when to stop using your visualization and when to come out of it. 8. THE STOP SIGN: You guys, this is probably one of the most important pieces that I can share with you in this course. I cannot believe how little people talk about this. Now, I kinda wish that I knew this when I was learning how to visualize, but I was so into learning the techniques. I just tried to do it as many times as possible until I realized that the more I force myself to do it, the more it backfired on me. What was going on. I realize that I did not know when to stop my visualizations. What does that mean? So as you know by now and as we've talked about in the previous videos, visualization is about feeling good, right? You want to have that base like you want to raise your baseline of emotions when you go into your visualization so that you go into it feeling good. Now, what I didn't know was that you are actually going to stop doing your visualizations. You got to stop your practice when you don't feel good. So what does that look like? Well, when you start to wonder, is this even real? Is this even going to happen? If you start to wonder it? Well, it's going to take so much time to get there or it's going to take so much hard work. Or like is this even possible? Is it gonna be me? And you start to have this doubt and pressure and tension buildup in your system. You start, your mind starts to wander in the what if it goes wrong and it goes down into direction where it starts to make you feel bad. That is your signal to stop. That is a big red flag That's waving in front of you. Or another reason to stop is if you just stop feeling amazing and your vision and feelings starts to just fall flat, it does not excite you anymore or like, you're like, Oh, I've been in this vision like too many times and I'm just not stimulated, then you might want to just wait until the stimulation comes back, the excitement comes back, or you're in a better mood. That's when you want to like a revisit your visualization. Again, don't give yourself that pressure and attention to absolutely have to do it right now. This is something that you can always come back to in the future. You can always come back to later in the day when you're feeling better, when you're in a relaxed state. That is how your visualization is just going to come through a lot more naturally and be a lot more effective and powerful for you. In the next video, I'm going to be sharing some final thoughts and finally, wrap up this course. 9. FINAL THOUGHTS: So that is all you guys. That is actually how simple it is. Simple, but it's not easy in a sense, it's simple because it doesn't require a lot of steps of broke it down for you guys. What's interesting about it is you get to learn to understand how you maneuver through your emotions. And this process of learning how to master your visualization is going to require you to really understand what you're experiencing, is going to require you to really tune in within yourself and listen to what you're experiencing on the inside. It's going to require your attention. It's going to require your focus, and it's going to require you to always be checking in with yourself. Do I feel good? Do I not feel good? Do I want to keep doing it or do I want to come back on later time? So it's going to require you to check in with yourself. One thing that I do want to remind you before we go is that it's your emotions that matter in the end of the day, it's your emotions that fire up your engines. It's the one that lights up all of your desires in light of the future for you. And it's going to help you become more of the person that you desire to be. The core is your emotions. So don't worry too much if you don't have the details down, don't worry too much. If you don't have the full picture. Once you know how you want to feel and how you want to show up. As you go along. You're going to be inspired by something. You see, something you here, you're going to be inspired. It's going to hit you of how the details are going to fall into place. You don't have to worry that you have to think your way through because this is not, it's not a thinking process, it's a very intuitive feeling thing. Everything that I've shared with you today is a framework. So take everything that I say as a grain of salt and then as you build your practice, you can start to feel like what suits you and how you want to refine the process that is more beneficial to you, that is, that feels more empowering to you. I hope that as we're wrapping up our time together, you feel more confident that you feel more empowered to make your own decisions and how you want to shape your visualization practice to use it in the way that works best for you. And of course, if you enjoyed our time together, I also invite you to check out my YouTube cage where I talk all about meditation, visualization, and manifestation, self-expression, like all the amazing things. With that said, thank you so much for joining me in this course. It was amazing to have you and I will see you in the next one.
