And we make a funny Apple with patterns inside you will make a sign, a summer sign, and powerful banner and the hair on colored paper. Basically you need a sketch book and the Posca markers. And when we go in class to class, I'll tell you more about the materials. I am keith wipe in Denmark and answers and illustrator and teacher here on Skillshare. And please join this class, follow along the drawings and have some fun while drawing these. How long? 2. Class project: As a class project, please upload your postnatal drawings to the project gallery. Then I will love to see all your beautiful drawings and fun and colorful drawings here in the project gallery. Let's dive in to class number one. 3. Posca challenge #1 An apple with patterns inside: Welcome to class Catalans number one, an apple with patterns inside. What you need for this challenge is some posca pens of your choice. Normally I use PCA3 em, all PC five m, That's the two sizes I normally use. Then you need a pencil for sketching and small sketchbook. So let's go into your sketchbook and know what to do here in my sketchbook, I just draw a very, very simple apple with my pencils and just sketch it out. I put his little, I just take like a very normal round apple and with a stem on and a small leaf. And then afterwards you will go into Pinterest and find some inspiration for the patterns of your choice. So let's go into Pinterest, find your Pinterest app. And then what I do, I will make a bought with some different patterns that I like. So a ride pattern on pattern design. And if you have some special patterns that you really like, then you can try to write some of the names. I like stripes a lot and I like like tears. But whenever tears it didn't really appear. So I wrote rain instead. But let's see here. I yeah, you can see that my eyes are found. I really like those kind of eyes and eyelids. And I will, I will save those to a new board called Patterns. And then you just go on find some patents that you really like. And then we go back to the drawing afterwards. So now I make my bought in Pinterest called Patterns. And I just used some of these for inspiration. And especially I like the tears. I couldn't find so many when I wrote tears, but I wrote rain, I found one and then I'd like the eyelids, so I would think I would use those. Let's get back to the drawing and use some of the patterns. So now I'm done sketching and then I need to color it. I want to color it. And I use for this one, I use pink and a light pink and black one. So like a startup with the patterns inside. And then I go on with them, the black one. Now you just get a little closer. Look here at my little apple. And now I want to add some more colors. See my pencil drawing is very soft so because I don't need to really see the drawing in the end. So I can still see it. And now I will add some more colors. I like the peach color, the basket peach color and a blue one, and then a green one for the stem. So just to finish up, I will S, black contour lines, some, some points here in my little apple. But I actually did like the light pink around it at don't think it needs too much black around it, just a light pink. And then it's your turn to make an apple with the, some, some nice patterns inside. Enjoy. 4. Posca challenge #2 Make your own summer sign: So in this challenge, you need small cots, small signs is to assign. So when you need a sketch book as well and some glue and some classical markers. And I also use a utopian. You don't need to do this, but you can do it. And I felt very inspired by ladies will paint, which is a group of great leaders who were paint on different services and walls. I found this poster, go four more and then I will attach it so you can start. So I start by gluing my small sign to my sketchbook. Just put it in where ever you feel you don't have to do this, but I just put it in my sketchbook, but it gives our loves lot of stuff here. And then I am, I'm inspired by the ladies will paint and I will write, go more places because I wanted to go more places. And then I will start by drawing a background with different funky Posca markers. So let's get started. Now the background is dry, and then I will start drawing out the letters. I stopped with lemons and then I do the shadowing afterwards. And then I will write go more places. Mobs time to draw the contour lines and the shadows. And I do it on the right side of the liveness. And I don't know if I want to do it on old letters by now, but I just thought out, I stopped with the O. And then I'll just try out with this utopian. But maybe I, I think I'll need another, maybe I need to posca pen doesn't work. I just try it with the M. Think it's maybe yeah, I think I will take a Posca marker. I go with the Posca marker and then I make the shadows on the right. But some of them, this M I just use and I just make a contour line just around the M. So you can just, you know, play around with it and have fun. Now it's time to finish up, make some final details, some fun patterns. And I like to make some posca splash. And then you've just put down your posca pen to get some more paint out and then splash it on. So I hope you made a nice summer sign and I hope you had fun. See you in the next challenge. 5. Posca #3 A hare on colored paper: Welcome to crocodilians number three, the hair on colored paper. Well, in this challenge, you need to have some colored, a colored background. You can make your own as I did on gouache paper. Just made it with the acrylic paint. But you can also find your own background, just a black background or brown, some brown paper or whatever. And then you have to draw this hair. The only real climate is you need to make a black outline. And then you can use different colors. I found this little cute hair and this picture, I am this photo. I put it in the project and resources gallery. And you can just download it there or you can find your own inspiration. Let's get started and make a colored background. And so you can draw this hair. I stopped with the color to the background, and I stopped with my sketch of the hair. Now it's time to choose some colors for the hair. And I have chosen different kind of pink and white and off white. And then I need this black for outline. I use a very thin black, accurate. It's one em it's called. As you can see, I made some details with the white posca and some an outline with the black. Now it's your turn to make your own hair. You can make it like this in my style, or you can try different styles. I also tried some other styles as well. And see you in the next part of the challenge. 6. Posca #4 A powerful banner: Welcome to posca children's number four, which is a powerful banner. In this challenge, I made a board for you. Or you can make your own board with different kind of pat, penance banners, flags with fun sayings on them and fun words. Darling, you're different or something else, you can make your own statement. And then of course, you need to make find out what kind of flag or banner you want to make. And then, or you can just follow along with me. So I choose the statement, you are my hero. And if you choose that one, you can probably handed over to someone you like. So let's get some posca pens going and some paper. So I start out with some different colors. I use a light red, I use a pink and an orange. And I just, I don't sketch out this one. I just start out making these fun banners and then I use a uni-ball pen as well, but you see that later on. So I make this light pink, and then I just use some other colors that I like as well. And then I make the background like around it. And I'll start with this peach. Well, I just made a mistake. I can do that later on. Fix it up. Now it's a little bit more dry and I'll try to fix it. My small mistake. And the offshore it's probably a third layer. If it's not, it's not all set yet. And now I would like to add some lettering. And I use my blue Posca marker, three m, the size p, s3 mb. And then I will just make it, make sure it's dry. And I would like to use some shadow to the lettering. And I use a uni-ball pen, but you can also use a different kinds. If you have. Now it's time to make the final details. You can make some small contour lines are some other details. And if you also make some mistakes like I did, you can fix it now by another layer. So I hope you will enjoy it and make your own fun. Benner and yeah, have fun, give it to a friend. See you in the next challenge. 7. Thank you and share your illustrations: Thank you for joining this class.
