1. Welcome to the Class: A content creator currently producing content on a monthly, weekly, or even daily basis for all of these social media platforms and need a way to categorize everything and not lose yourself in all of these thousands of files, you've come to the right place. So in this notion class for content creators right here, we're going to build together on real time the notion system that I've utilized and I've used for the past five years of creating content and has completely streamlined my content creation journey. Don't know me, my name is Lambros. During the past five years, I've been a creative. I've generated tens of millions of views with my content, and, of course, I've produced countless of hours of videos. And you know what that means. Countless of gigabytes of footage and data to be stored. The day that I downloaded Notion and I started interacting with it was the day that my content creation process was completely streamlined and finally all I had to focus on was creating. In this course right here, I'm demonstrating exactly the content system that I use to categorize everything inside of notion, and we're going to be building yours again on real time together. At the end of this course, you will have a notion workspace created and tailored to your content with a content calendar, an awesome way to store all of the information around your videos, titles, domnas, descriptions, all that stuff, ways to categorize and store different ideas for different projects that you may outside or in parallel with your content. And finally, I'm going to also introduce you the awesome Finance tracker and habit tracker that I have been using for more than five years now has completely changed my life. On top of that, by enrolling in this course, you will also get access to all of the different templates that we're going to be using, so you don't need to browse notes and marketplace, download them. You can just download them for free in the course right here. So I'm very happy to have you here. Let's once and for all streamline your content creation journey with this awesome notion workspace that we're going to be creating together, right? So I'm going to sing in the first lesson of this course. 2. Understanding the Class Project: I'm very happy to have you inside of the course. Welcome. And in this very short first lesson right here, I'm just going to be delivering the class project that you're called to complete by the end of the course. So the class project of the course involves you taking a screenshot of the notion workspace that you have created, again, according to the information that I delivered to you in this cross right here, and let us know in the class project description below what your content is about. So let us know what videos do you create and to who you target your videos towards, right, your target Avatar. So I'm going to be personally reviewing every single one of your class projects, and it's also a very cool way to connect with me as your instructor, right? So enough with this introduction, let's move into the content of this class. 3. Notion 101: Quick Overview for Creators: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this lesson in which we're going to be overviewing, we're going to be doing a walk through around the general interface of notion, as well as exploring some of the awesome templates that you can find inside. Now, for future reference, I want you to know that every single page we're going to be creating, every single, let's say, pillar we're going to be structuring around notion can be also recreated with templates, right? This is a common understanding. Notion is very cool because you can actually download and source templates that other people that are also experts have created. That being said, it's very very, very important for you to know how to create some basic elements inside of your pages without needing to rely on templates because trust me, at some point in your notion journey, you will be called to create something that only you have imagined, right, that you cannot source from a template, so I want you by the end of the squares to be able to do that, right? So enough with this introduction, welcome to the first lesson of the squares. Now, this right here is the, let's say, general homepage, you can see inside of Noon. So what do we see here? We have the main screen, and on our left, we have this small interaction menu. In interaction menu, we have the search button, the notion AI button, the home button, inbox, right, and then our private pages. So here you can add every single page that we create, right, will be added right here. Then we have our settings, our templates and trash very, very simple. On top of that, you can invite new members in your notion, let's say, page. So this right here is say, my whole notion page. I can invite more members to either view, edit, right, and contribute to this page. And right here, we have more, again, options, we have Notion email, and we can also explore Notion calendar, which are separate applications. So we will not mess up with these for now. Now, what do we see here? We can see that Notion actually wants us to create a new page. And once we press this button, I'm going to click this button in just a second and show you what happens when you create a new page. But for now, let's analyze even further the homepage of Notion. So you can see that, first of all, Notion calendar is a big thing, and we're going to have a separate lesson on Notion calendar and how to utilize the power of Notion calendar, right? So you can also connect Notion calendar to Google calendar to sync your events across all platforms. And, of course, you can, of course, learn. These are reads. Those are articles in which you can understand further how to utilize notion. For example, you can learn here, the ultimate guide to Notion templates or here how to customize and style your content, right, and some of the featured templates. Now, the whole point of notion is to create different pages, and these different pages can also be recreated as templates. So let's see what happens when we create a new page, right? If I click on New page, you will see that this new page is created in my private page list right here, right? Now, this new page right here, we can name it something. Let's name it Test one, right? And next to test one, you can see that I can add icons, I can add covers, or I can add some commons. For example, in the covers, you have some pre existing covers that you can add, which is very cool. And a common thing in notion that we love to do for some reason is to add icons. So let's add an icon right here, which are usually emojis. We can add, for example, the emoji right here, right? You can see in here in our private section, Test one, which is our first page is indicated by this emoji. In general, I love to add emojis to my pages. I usually don't add covers, actually, but I always add emojis, so I can differentiate each and every single one of my pages with emojis. Now, what are the abilities that we can do here? The first thing is that, again, notion, you can see that notion this platform guides us to utilize very much two of its features. The first one is Notion AI, which is so cool and so awesome. And we're going to be utilizing the power of Notion AI because it's the latest tool of the platform. You're going to see huge difference when you learn how to use Notion AI, right? And templates. Notion AI and templates are the two things that this platform really wants us to know and understand. And, of course, in this class, you will become a master of Notion AI and utilizing Notion templates. On top of that, we can create different databases by ourselves and different forms. But all of this can also be done with Notion AI. Now, this is not a lesson in which we're going to be diving deeper into Notion AI. This will be done in next lessons. What I want to show you in this session right here is the general overview of the software and its features. All right, so this is how you create new pages. Now, once you write something a new page, you can write notes and then below notes. It's just like Apple notes, for example, you can write stuff. And once you press slash, right? You can either press space to open the AI. This is how you access notion AI, right, just by pressing space, or you can click on Slash. And once you click on Slash, you have the ability to access all of these different tools right here. All right, slash is the one button that you will really be using inside of notions. So let's see what we can access with slash. First of all, you can change, let's say, the font from basic text to heading, right, heading one, heading to heading three. You can add bulleted lists. You can add numbered lists, a to do list, right, a different page inside of a page, which is something that we will be utilizing a lot, right, different quotes, tables, and all of these can also be done with AI. So, for example, if I'm here on test one, right? And I'm writing something, I can click on space, open the AI and ask for AI to create a new page, for example. Right. Okay, I have a small spelling mistake here. It's to create a new page inside of Notion AI and ask for more stuff around this. Now, we don't want to do this for now. We were on the space part. So again, create a new page, callous text dividers, tables. We can use Notion AI again through slash to continue writing an article, ask question, ask about this page, all that stuff. And of course, we can import images, videos, audios, codes, files, and web bookmarks. All of this we can also do with different ways. So we can, for example, drag and drop different images inside of here in order to import them, but we can also do it this way. So click on image, and we can either upload an image and beta link. Right, all that stuff. So, these are the basic features that you need to know inside of a page. We're going to be creating lots of pages, and, of course, we're also going to be utilizing some templates. Now, how do we utilize templates, and what are templates? So templates are of course, predesigned pages from other people that we can directly download and apply to our notion software. How do we access templates? Either access them from here. So inside of one of your pages, you can add a template inside of your page or you can go to home, right, and scroll down to future templates. Another way, of course, to access templates is from here. So interaction menu on your left, click on templates. And these are all of the templates that you can utilize. Is the hub for all the templates that you can utilize and add to your notion workspace. Now, I want you to remember one thing. Please, if you open this template tab right here, you will be, again, you will see all of these different templates. You will be absolutely amazed, just as I was, right, when I first learned about all of these templates, and you want to, like, download them all. Please do not download them all. Like, it's going to be very overwhelming for you. And at the end of the day, I do not want you to be overwhelmed and have like 20 different templates that don't know which template to use and which template not to use. And suddenly, you're just a productivity freak and you're not actually being productive, right? You're just an enthusiast, right? So what I want you to do is to download, perhaps some templates that you like, and I'm going to guide you, of course, in downloading the correct templates and just stick with them, right? I do not want you to have decision fatigue just because you just have access to all of these templates right here. So you can see that we have so many templates, project timeline templates, for example, right? You can have a project and gold hub, right? Dates template, right? All that stuff. And if you go back to marketplace, you can see that we have networking templates, right, finance templates, project roadmap templates. And if we type on YouTube, you will actually see that we have lots of YouTube templates, right? A YouTube video script creator, right, or a YouTube video script basic. Let's see if they have thumbnail templates. I'm very curious. So let's type thumbnail. Mm hmm. So video YouTube checkld. We have a thumbnail designer. It's actually free. So right here you can see the title of the template, the price of the template. This is a YouTube script free template This is a YouTube thumbnail free template. And if I click on it, right, you will see you will get to view the template or even download it. So, for example, this is the thumbnail designer, right? Then if we view the template, Oh, it actually redirects us to the website of this person right here. So you can see that this is the creator of template. And again, all many different people can create templates. Of course, when you download templds, you can see who the creator is. For example, Notion created this template rate here, which is the simple weekly to do list, right? And you can see also the rating of the template. So this template is rated 4.8, right? So many different templates to work from. You can check out the templates yourself. You can have Discover work, life, and school. Those are like the four big categories that Noon has categorized its templates. And whenever a template is created by Notion, you obviously know that it's going to be of superior quality will not have any bugs. It will just work perfectly. So this is work, right? We got live templates. So for example, entertainment, dating, wellness, nutrition, website building, hobbies. This is a personal finance tracker that you can use, for example, a habit tracker, a journal, right? You can keep journaling on notion, a gold timeline tracker, a journey optimizer, right, if you want to go on a new journey, for example, right? And we got more templates around work and around school. So in school here, again, student life, student leaner, teaching, class notes, all that stuff. So many, many templates, I will not go into too much detail here because you can imagine that we have so many templates, we will never get done with a thon rate here. But again, in this lesson, we did a small brief overview of the homepage of notion. We did a small brief overview again on the templates, where to source the templates, how to access the templates, and how to distinguish between who created the template and potentially the rating of the template, which reflects the quality the template itself, right? And in the next lesson of the scores, we're diving into creating our first page after, of course, the test page created right here, which is going to be the I page, right? So more information about the I page in the next lesson of the scores. And trust me, you're going to have fun creating the inpage. 4. The In-Basket: Organize & Prioritize Tasks: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the lesson in which we're going to be discussing about the in basket. Now, again, the in basket is a concept discussed in this book right here, which is called Getting Things Done, the Art of Effortless Productivity by David Allen. Now, when I read this book for some reason, I paid huge attention. I underlined the key points, and I really managed to digest all of the concepts inside of this book. Now, I would actually recommend you to check this book out because it's a very valuable book if you want to streamline any productive process, really. But the biggest thing that I took from this book was the so called in basket, the ultimate way, right, to categorize different tasks that will be inevitably right handed to you and delegate them in the most correct way. And Notion is actually an amazing tool to apply the in basket and structure your in basket. Now, in this lesson right here, I'm going to show you not only what the in basket is, and I'm not only going to help you understand the concept of the in basket, but we're going to be structuring your in basket together. So enough of this introduction, let me show you exactly what I'm talking about. So as you can see, what we did here is that I created a very simple page which I called in. This is the inn. You can call it also the in basket. Is this how we spell basket? I'm not sure. Anyways, let's add an icon, actually, and let's add a basket icon, right? So this right here is the so called in basket. Every single task that you're handed, right, will go inside of the in basket. And this is just some information, some guidance to help you understand what the in basket is. So in general, whatever item is handed to us and whatever task we called to complete goes immediately inside of the in basket without you needed to think about it on the spot. So let's say that you're on an airplane, you're on a taxi, you're somewhere else, you're not on your setup, right on your computer, and you have an idea, something that you need to do, right? You do not keep it in your mind because whatever is in our mind, it's like, short memory storage. It's going to be deleted in some minutes, potentially some seconds. So you immediately put it inside of the in basket. All right? So these are the so called captured items. Now, once we've captured an item and once this item is inside of the end basket, on a second time basis, we get to process this item, right? So again, whenever we have something new inside of the in basket, we just mention it, and then we get to process it when we have time to sit on our computer, for example. And these are the questions that we ask ourselves. Is this actionable? This is the first questions you need to ask yourself. If it is actionable, all right? Then you move this item to the next action folder, and we're going to be creating all of these folders in the station right here. If it's not actionable, right, we either add it to our reference material or to the so called someday maybe folder, right, or to the trash. If it's not actionable. If it is actionable, we move it to the next action folder. Now, if actionable, right, does it take less than 2 minutes? So this captured item, can it be completed in less than 2 minutes? If it can be completed in less than 2 minutes, you need to do it immediately, right? If it can't be completed in less than 2 minutes, then you either delegate it or defer it to its proper next step here. All right. So let's delete this, and let me show you how we're going to be structuring our in basket. So in order to do this, right, what we're going to be doing is I'm going to be clicking on Slash. And, of course, we can create our Ibsket with notion AI, but for now, we are going to click on slash and write the word table. So right here, we have a table, and we just created a new table. All right? In the first column, we're going to write the word item, right? Because right here, we're going to be mentioning all of the different items that we get delegate in our in basket. In the next column, we're going to note the date, right? So when did this item occur? And all of the items will be occurring in again, every date. So for example, let's say that today is March 10, right, and we have car repair, right? So March 10. Tomorrow, I might have a new task, for example, right? So the tomorrow's task will go below that, right? And the next column is going to be the status, right? Now, the status can be one of those three. It could either be unprocessed. It could be deferred. Or it could be completed. These are the three different statuses, right, that you could have. Now, this right here is our in basket. Obviously, this is just again, this is just more information for you to understand what's happening inside of the in basket. But this is going to be our in basket. From here, you can add more colums right? And you can delete them or from here, you can add more columns dropping down, right? Now, of course, in order for in basket to work, you need to have another folder, which is going to be called reference. Another folder, the someday maybe folder, and a trash folder. We already have a trash folder right here. So let's go ahead and create these two next folders. So two next folders is, again, the page Glc on page Enter, and I'm going to write here reference. All right. And when I go back, you can see that right here. You can click again to go back on the in basket. So here we can see our new page we've just created, which is reference. And the next page I'm going to be creating is the Sunday maybe page. So how do we do this? Again, I click Below reference, click on slash. Again, page, so Enter to end the page, and I paste Someday maybe, right? So I can go back again from here. Let me move grammatically right here. So you can see I have this go back button exactly as we have on the web so go back and have the reference, someday maybe, and we don't need to create a trash page because we can directly move something into trash, right? So do you want this information right here? We can keep it or we can delete it. This right here is our in basket, right? So we have our item, our date, and our status. So let's say that something new occurs in your in basket, right? Whenever you're on the go, you're just going to be writing right here. So we're going to be writing, for example, let's say that you need to send an email to client, right? This is a new thing that just occurred to our in basket. Date, let's say it's going to be occurring tomorrow, right? For now, this is unprocessed, right? So what's going to happen? This is unprocessed. When I sit on my desk, right? To potentially do this, right? To send the email to the client, I remind myself that, okay, I need to send email to the client and it is unprocessed. Does it take less than 2 minutes? If it does, I'm going to be doing it right now. If it doesn't? If it doesn't take more than 2 minutes, then I get to either delegate it or refer it. And this is how you will be noting every single one of your tasks down. Again, this is an actionable thing, right? So we need to take action. But if it's not an actionable thing, so for example, um, let's see what could not be an acable thing. Someone hands me a map map, handout sort, right? So someone just literally hands me a map of the city, right? This obviously, he hands me this map tomorrow, for example. This right here, it's still unprocessed, right? Obviously, this map right here, I need to process it somehow because it will always be in my in basket if I don't process it. So what do I do? I add this map to the reference material, so I go ahead and I'm going to be pasting this map right here. Like, obviously, you get a point. Like, I'm just going to paste the map here. I'm going to create a new page, which is going to be, for example, let's say, city resources, right? And in the city resources page, I'm going to add the map that this again, friend of mine, for example, gave me. And once this is done, I can either click on Completed, right? So so I know my task completed, or I can just literally delete this and move it away from my in basket, right? So this is the in basket. This is how I use in basket. And again, another item, for example, that could be is thumbnail. Edit, right? So to Edit Ethamo, right? And this occurred on, let's say, tomorrow, right? So any single task that you get to complete goes to the end basket, and this is a way again for you to delegate your different tasks. You do not need to keep things on your memory, on your mind, right? You need to write things down, and Notion is actually an amazing note taking application. So a destination for you to note things down for you to know when you sit down on your desk and you have the time and you have the energy to apply to the completion of your tasks to know exactly how to navigate and how to manage your tasks. So this, ladies and gentlemen, was the basket. As I mentioned in the first lesson of the scores, and we're done with the basing overview, as I mentioned in the first lesson of the scores, we're done with a basic overview of Noon. And we also discussed about the In basket, how to create this small addition to your productivity. Now it's time to actually install our calendar inside of our Non Workspace calendar is going to be one of the most again, powerful features of notion that we're going to be utilizing and we're going to do this in the next lesson of the scores. 5. Build a Smart Content Calendar in Notion: Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to welcome you to the third installment of the scours in which we're going to be discussing and we're going to be actually constructing and creating our calendar inside of notion. Now, just do a small recap of what we've done up until this point, we've set foundation by, again, doing a simple walk through through the software. We discussed about the different templates that you can download and where to source them, right? The difference between free paid templates and how to evaluate templates based on the reviews. And then in the previous session of the course, we created our in basket, which is just a mechanism, if you will, a system on how to sort new tasks that come again along your journey as a creator. Now, it is time in this session right here, create our calendar, which is going to play a huge role and a very important role in this content creation journey of ours. And on the way, of course, that we utilize notion. As a creative person myself, I do not like using so many different apps for note taking, for planning, and, of course, my calendar. That's why I keep everything inside of notion. Let me show you this session right here, of course, how to do it yourself, right? So this right here is the interface of our in okay basket that we created. We again, went through this process in the previous lesson. So how will we create a new page? How are we going to be creating a new page and how are we going to be adding the Calendar? To create a new page, you go to your Interaction menu right here and you click on this button right here. Which is the creating new page button. As you can see next to it, you have the shortcut to do this. And this is command. So by clicking Command and, you can create a new page with a shortcut. For the sake of this video, let me just click here, and you have your new page. Now, this new page, of course, we're going to be naming calendar, right? Actually, with one L. I'm very bad at spelling, right? And now it's time to actually create our calendar right here. So how do we do this? On here, you can see it says get started with, and you have the AI database forms and templates. The first way to do this is to source a calendar, already pre made calendar from a template, but we don't want to do this because it's very simple. Import a simple calendar inside your notion page. We do this by clicking these three dots right here and calendar. And just like that, we created our calendar. Congratulations. So we can also name it again, calendar, here you go. Now, in this calendar, you will see that we have obviously the view of all of the different dates, right? And it goes back. If you click on the date, you can go back, for example, to see previous months, right? Now you can see that will also have the option to open this in calendar. And what notion refers to as calendar is a so called notion calendar. Now, the notion calendar is a third party application. It's not actually a third party application. It is developed by Notion, but it is another application that you can download that will act as an external calendar. What does this really mean? Is that Notion calendar pretty much connects with your computer. It gives you notifications to your computer. You can also connect Google, right Google calendar with Notion calendar. You have everything integrated. So if you have people booking calls with you right on Google, and you want to transfer this to notion, so you have the same notifications automatically popping up in your notion calendar. You can do this with notion calendar. If you just want a simple, very basic, easy to go calendar to mention your tasks for the next day, notion calendar works perfectly, and I have been using this for about 40 years now. It has never failed me. So very simple how we create new projects and new tasks. Let's say that we have something, for example, for Wednesday, right? I create plus I press a plus icon. I name it something. So let's say that I have, for example, to shoot shoot YouTube. Alright? Video one. Oh, my God. I'm so bad at spelling. Shoot YouTube Video one. You see the date here. You can also change the date to whenever you want. You can set reminders. For example, remind me one day before. Remind me two days before, remind me one week ago, or one week before, right? So you can obviously set reminders to have, and they will also pop up as reminders on your phone, right? And you can also set some tags, right? So, for example, you can create tags. Let's say this is urgent. That's right here. We just created an urgent tag. Or we can create another tag, which is time sensitive, right? Or we can create another tag, for example, which says to delegate, right? These are different tags, and you can use them. You can create as many tags as you want, and you can use them in your calendar. On top of that, you can add, of course, more properties. Properties meaning, let's say, a URL. Let's say for this YouTube Video suit right here, you want a resource from a website. You can add it right here. Right? And you can paste this link, for example. And now you have this you would have this URL if you wanted to have more information about the YouTubevide. So anything you want to attach to this project you have in that day, you can add it from here. So you can, again, add dates, persons media files, so let's say if you want to attach, for example, an image that's going to be helpful for your YouTube video. You can do this by attaching it from here or a URL, a phone, an email, a formula, all that stuff, right? You can do it from here. On top of that, you can connect like Google Drive, you can see, you can connect Github, you can connect Figma, all that stuff, right? On top of that, you can also, of course, start in every single event you create on the calendar. You can create pages, templates, images. So every single event you create on your calendar in notion can act as a separate category or separate page. So, for example, let's say that you want to be very detailed about this YouTube video shoot. You can have one page, which is going to be, for example, the crew of the YouTube video shoot, and you type things down regarding the crew of your video shoot. And once you go again back, I clicked on back. You can see we have our page, which is the crew. And once I click it, I go to the page which says crew. On top you can mention, for example, let's say, you can have another page, which is going to be location info, right? So if I go back here again, you can see what have crew location info regarding YouTube shoot number one, which is urgent or time sensitive, and it's going to be happening. You can see it right here on the 12th of the month, right? And as you can see, we can also add icons. We love, like, adding icons. On Noon, everyone adds icons. I don't know why. I also kind of enjoy adding icons on Noon, right? You can make it a full page if you want, more information about it and go back. So you can see that pretty much what Noon gives us the ability to do, you can add icons also here. Let's add a carat. Right? So you can see that what pretty much notion gives us the ability to do with its calendar is to add in the event, right, that we add, we can have them as new notion pages. So this event that we have on March 12 acts as a complete a new notion page, and we can add as much information as we want to each event. So we added, like, information about the crew information about the location. We can add URL, we can add tags, um we can add, of course, start time. So when does it start? It is a full date, right? Is it a full day thing? It's not, for example, you get the points. So you can change all of these things. And again, once you create again, new event on Notion calendar, it will be automatically synced with Google calendar so you don't need to worry about happen what's happening inside first calendar and the second calendar. If you connect both together using Notion calendar, they will be sync. All right? This is how I manage everything. And once you create two or three events, let's say, for example, you want to duplicate this event, you can right, click on it, and click on duplicate if this is a recurring event, right? Or if this event will take three days. You don't need to go ahead and duplicate this again and slide it here and then duplicate it again and slide it here. What you can do is you can drag it like this. So now it's a three day event. It's not a one day event, right? It's different because these events we created. I'm sorry. So if I go ahead and duplicate this two times, three times, right? So here and here. These are one day event that stick for three days, but this is a one, three day event, if this makes sense, and of course, we duplicated them so there's not much to see here. I'm just showing you. All right? So that's what I like to do. You can not only do this for YouTube content, obviously, you can do this with planning vacation, for example. Let's say that you're staying from the 12th to the 15th in Greece. You could name this, for example, Greece. Right? Greece, travel, right? Of course, change the icon to Greece. Right. And you have more information about so where are you going to stay, what you're going to eat, cool restaurants. So whenever you want to tap into this category, you just click on this and you see what's happening. On top of that, if you go up here, you can see that you can sort based on the tags, right? You can sort based on the tags of the event you created. That's why it's important for you to add tags, which are cool, and it just help you navigate through the different events of yours. Now, to end things with the calendar, you can see that by clicking plus here, you can add more stuff next to your calendar. So as funny as it may sound, you can add another calendar next to your calendar, which is a bit tricky. Apart dramatic and new calendar. Let me just delete this. You can add more stuff like a gallery, forms, lists, charts. What I do and what I would advise you to do is just have at this point of of course, just the in basket and the calendar. And, of course, I want you to change the icon of the calendar. Let's have a map or, like, world, right? The world. That's better. So we have the in basket, then we have the calendar. Now, up until this point, again, we discussed, I think most of the things that go down in the calendar, what happens inside the calendar, how to create new events, how to tailor new events, how to treat these new events as new pages. And now it is time Okay. So okay. So this concludes our lesson around the calendar, right? We discussed some basic features of Notion calendar. We could have gone into more detail here, but I do not want to overwhelm you with all the features inside of, again, Notion calendar. What I want you to know is how to create new events in every single day that you have a new event, how to add more information inside of these events. And by now, we have the in basket completed, right? The in basket with all of the information it sign up there and the calendar view. So what is the next step here? The next step is to move into the second module of the scores in which we're going to be discussing in further detail the creative part of notion, how to really utilize the power of notion as a creative person. I'm going to be doing this by creating our first big category, which is going to be the project category. So more information about this in the next lesson of the scores. 6. Sort & Manage Projects Like a Pro: Come to the lesson in which we're going to be categorizing and organizing our project, right, our ideas inside of notion. Now, for me, it's very important to disclose, right, the fact that it's completely different to have a folder, right, a special page for your YouTube things with video ideas, family Ds, and all that stuff and your projects. I really feel like every single creator should have a separate folder on notion or, in fact, in any, let's say, documentation application that you use, right? And this folder should be dedicated for his ideas, right? You will see that as a creative, as a creator, if don't have already. You will be having multiple ideas to develop, right, new digital products, new, let's say, software, a website, and that stuff. And all of these ideas should have a special place in notion in order to nurture, right? Now, in my case, because I have multiple ideas, right? I have multiple things, multiple, I guess, businesses, right, and products, digital products, and all that stuff, I sort everything inside of my project folder in notion. In this right here, I'm going to show you how to create this project folder, right? And I'm going to be brainstorming with you on a one on one basis an idea of a digital product and how I would tackle this if I were. So with a completely blank canvas in notion, how it would go about and create, let's say, the perfect project page for this idea of mine by using templates as well as my original, let's say, content ideas on notion. So universe for being here, let's open Notion. I'm going to show you what I'm talking about. Right. So here we are inside of Noon. And of course, in the previous lesson we discussed about the calendar. So a til this point, we have the in basket with information about, let's say, the new tasks that come in Norway and our calendar. So now we're going to create a new page, and we're going to name this page projects, right? Ideas. Now, obviously, Stuff that go in the basket can, of course, be delegated into the projects and ideas section. It really depends on if they are actionable, right? So you can either add stuff into your in basket and then to the projects and ideas or directly to the project and ideas section. It's good for you, though, to have, again, a project and ideas section. Let's add our icon. So what should we ad? What should we add? Let's see. I think a crown or a light bulb there. Projects and ideas, cool stuff. Now, for each project and each idea of yours, right, you can have a separate page. So how do we do this? We click on slash. And on Slash, we click on page. So let's say now, right, that you want to create a digital product, right? So let's say digital product idea, right? Digital product one, for example. Let's say that this digital product is a let's see. Let's see. An eBook. You want to create digital product ads and eBook. So how would I go with this? Obviously, right here, we're going to plan everything regarding our digital product. Now, you can start typing, if you will, in typing, what's happening in the Ebook and who's going to be referring to, who's the Ebook going to be referring to in your target audience, all that stuff. What I like to do before I start creating all of these different categories inside my ideas and my digital products, I always like to browse templates, right? So we can go on templates, and we can browse these. So, for example, let's say, academic research, destination guides, test prep, design portfolio, weekly planner, all that stuff. Let's go to work. Right? Let's see if we find something in work. We have product, for example, we have marketing. All of these are different templates that we can utilize, right inside our ideas, enterprise, teaching, right? Founders, engineering, consulting agents, no profit, real estate, sales, startup would also be a category and we could check out design freelance IT managers. So let's start, for example, with, let's see, product, right? Because again, we're creating this digital product. It's ebook, so we would like to check these out, right? So we got product and Strategy Team Hub, and this is created by NSN. It has a 4.9 rating, which is good. Product team in a box, product roadmap. This could also be good, right? Analysis venture capital. We don't want this product designer, right? So these are a bit more, let's say, optimized, and they're also not free. Alright, so we could do the product roadmap, right? This is good. The product strategy and Team Hub actually has a better rating, but let's see actually the product roadmap, right? So you can see, again, Alright. Okay, so it like allocates what happens according to time in your roadmap. Let's see, so we can see different pages here. Okay, so this is after let's say our app would be developed, our Ebook would be developed. Anyways, let's add it. It's completely free. We can add it. And you can see that the template is being added. It needs some minutes before it's being added. Anyways, let's go back to the marketplace now. Another thing we could do, for example, right? Let's segue through these, we did product, right? So let's see more of them. Hm. Let's go and test on work, right? Some more. So marketing, for example, right? Content calendar. We will be using this on our YouTube, marketing team in a box, right? Notions marketing Wiki, right? That's also good. That's also good. Let's move in to see something else that we could utilize in our digital product. Social media planner, we're going to be using this on YouTube, project product antraker. This is also good, right? Let's see. So the loantraker is also good. This is something that we could add, right? Let's see product product marketing, right? Ecommerce product manager. That's good. Right? Sales confidence survey, brands insights, right? Let's see. Let's click on this. So keep track of your launches and align cross functional teams at every stage of bringing a product to users. This could also be, for example, something that we could add. Now, you can browse and marketplace yourself. You can see yourself different. Again, templates that you can add. In general, what I like to do is I always like to have a page. So I create pages inside of my projects and my ideas. So I always create one page for brainstorming. All right? That's like a non negotiable. A page for brainstorming. And you just need to type. You don't need any crazy template. If you want to create something, you can click on slash. So you can click on space and you can write the AI to describe something for the AI to write if you can find it as a template. But I always in my projects create, again, a different page for brainstorming. I always create a different page for my target Avatar. All right? These are non negotiables, and you should also have these pages. A brainstorming, a target avatar, you need a new page, right, for marketing. That's also very, very important. And you need a final new page for sales conversion tracking. All right? These, of course, are some pages that you want to have if you're going to be selling your product, but these are the more important, the most important pages you have. What I like to do also is potentially create a new page, right? Bear with me here in which I'm going to title it, for example, templates. Let's go back to our project, and you can see that I usually have like my templates Gill see what this is. Okay. Okay, so all of these, right? All of these right here are different pages that we created, and we want to have them inside of our digital product number one, which is debook So what we do is that, again, I select all of these pages. I drag them and drop them inside of Digi Product one. So now if I click on digital product one, you can see that all of the pages are inside here. Now, another thing we can do for example, you can see the product roadmap is finally right here, next door projects and our ideas. So I can take the product roadmap and drag it inside projects and ideas. Here's the product roadmap, right? You can click this again and drag it inside digital product one, which Dibook so this is again, our product roadmap. We can have this being the first page, right? So before you dive into brainstorming and target out and marketing and all that stuff and sales conversion tracking, you have your product roadmap, right? So if you click this, you can access, again, the product roadb you can see, it's very sophisticated. You can add stuff right here. You can also import open things on calendar. You have a tutorial on how to use the product roadmap, right? And again, different tasks text by project, all of the tasks, you need to, of course, delete all these. And start with your own tasks, you get the point, right? So there's a lot of things that you can change here. Now, again, I do not want you to be overwhelmed with these templates. Templates are cool. They can be useful. You can utilize them and all that stuff. But it's very easy for you to fall into the pitfall of just you know, going through templates and trying to understand templates, and you're going to lose a big amount of time and energy trying to understand these templates, find one that works for you and stick with it. In my case, you know, whenever I create a roadmap, a product, I just keep it very, very simple. I create all of these folders, a brainstorming folder, target out our marketing sales conversion, and potentially templates if I want to have more templates, right? So templates or reference material, for example. In the brainstorming folder, I just write as much stuff as I want to brainstorm, again, regarding my idea. Again, do not be afraid to write as Mu stuff as possible. You can use AI. Also to summarize it. In the target avatar, I mentioned, like, all of the details regarding the target avatar that's going to be consuming the content or this product in order for me to know exactly who I'm going to be targeting, right? In the marketing, again, What I like to do is that I like to take the tencor problems of my target avatar and create video solutions for these ten core problems, right, and utilize these video solutions to funnel people to purchase my eBook, right? So, for example, let's say that my digital product is an eBook around, let's say, time efficient workout plans for CEOs. So what I like to do is that in my target avatar set, I like to say, for example, my target avatar is a CEO, and I write as much detail as possible regarding my target Avatar. I do this with GBT. And then I brainstorm like the ten core problems that my target avatar has. And in the marketing, what I like to do is that I like to create video solutions to elaborate on these ten core problems. Then I go ahead and create these video solutions on YouTube videos, right as YouTube videos. And in these YouTube videos, this is how I market those digital products that I create, and I've created multiple digital products this way and sold them this way. Now there's a saying that says that you cannot improve something if you don't measure it. That's why it's very, very important for you to track your sale to track your convergence. How many people clicked on the YouTube video? How many people viewed the YouTube video? How many people moved from the YouTube video to the landing page of your digital product? How many people downloaded the digital product, right? All of that stuff you need to convert. And this is why you always need to have a separate page in your products and your ideas, right, regarding sales and conversion and how it is absorbed by the market, if it is absorbed by the market, right? So you need to test all that stuff. What I would Again, suggest in this case of yours is, again, do not get overwhelmed with templates. There are so many templates you can use. Pick one, have a basic roadmap of your product or to help you brainstorm your product. There are many templates actually around brainstorming, which you can use and just keep it very, very simple. So this is how I like to keep my projects and my ideas. Again, this was a project, for example, right? Ebook. Let's say that you have another project now, give you a short example before we're done. But I don't want to overwhelm you with information here, right? Let's say that another project of yours is, let's say, coaching, right? And it's yoga. Is yoga coaching. So what I would do in this case is that I would create definitely a page around my target Avatar, right? Absolutely. I need a page for my target Avatar. I would probably also have a website if I'm doing yoga coaching for people to find out about me. So I would have another page would be website resources, right? So this actually would be another page of mine. I would create another page which would be email automations. And in this page, I would write all of the emails that are, you know, automated, and I would send to every single one of my clients that enrolled into my coaching, so I know where to find these emails. Again, I have a coaching business, so I know the pages that you need to have on Notion, right? Another page that I would have would obviously be a page with my clients, right? So here I would name every single one of my client. For example, let's say, one client of mine is Lambros right? Me. Okay. And inside my clients, you can see that I created another page of one of my clients. And inside each one of my clients, I usually have calls with my clients personally on my coaching business. So I create another page for each call. So let's say that's call number one, uh on boarding, what happens inside this call. So in this call happened X, Y, Z, Y, and I can share this page with my clients. So this is what I usually do. If you have a coaching business, this works perfectly. So again, what we did, we created a yoga coaching page in our projects, brainstorm our target Aatar website resources, email automations, clients, and finally, very, very important sales Right, slash conversions. Very important to track your sales and track your conversions. So you can see, and you can use, actually, your creative ability, right, your creative advantage to brainstorm different pages that you would like to have inside of each and every project of yours. So this is just basically how easy we created just two projects. The one is the eBook, and let's add a um I add emoji for eBook and an emoji for our yoga. All right. Very important to add emojis. We do this in the notion world. We add Mojies in our projects in our pages, right? So this is basically how you create new projects and you create new ideas, and this is how I want you to approach this. In general, I love, okay, I like templates. I like downloading stuff and utilizing, you know, the creativity of other people that have already spent, like, way more time and energy than me, right? I notion designing these templates, but it can be overwhelming, and decision fatigue is real when you're browsing all of these templates. The best way to approach this is to just create your own pages, I think, and I really believe that it's very simple. The approach that we follow here it's just very simple and it's something that anyone can follow based on your creativity. And when you create these pages, right, you get to understand what you want, what you don't want, and you do not have anything inside of your notion workspace that is potentially not needed, right? Because it can lead to decision fatigue. I've been running my businesses for four years this way with notion, and everything just works perfectly, right? So, now we're done with the projects and ideas, and we've closed this chapter, it is time to move into categorizing and analyzing our content, our YouTube content. And that going to be happening in the next dozen of the scores. So thank you're seeing the next dozen. 7. Create a YouTube Hub: Organize Video Ideas: Of course as a content creator as a creative, usually, our creative hub is YouTube. I like to think of YouTube as let's say the house of all of my content. This is where the content is produced and distributed primarily. And then secondarily, I can also redistribute the content and convert the long form content from YouTube into short form content to be distributed in short form content consumption. Let's say, websites like, Okay, Instagram, Tik Tok, real you at the point, right? But everything starts from YouTube and everything originates by having an organized again, content creation hub, if you right? For YouTube. And for that, we can definitely use Notion, and I have been using Notion. I'm going to show you exactly how to create the different categories and different pages that you want inside of this hub that we're going to be creating that will, of course, aid you into producing more content and automating, if you will, systemizing the process of content creation. Again, I've done this multiple times. This is how I'm able to produce such big long form content pieces every single day, and it works, right. So let me show you exactly what I'm talking about. So these right here, of course, our projects and our ideas, and now it's time to move and actually create a new page in our private page right here. So from here, I create a new page, and I'm going to call this page. Alright, YouTube, let's say, YouTube Hub, right? So this is going to be the hub for everything inside our YouTube channel. Our YouTube channel, right, involves analysis, right? And execution. Before execution, before pressing record, before creating your content, you need analysis. And Analysis in the YouTube channel really comes down into choosing the correct Target avatar, choosing the correct target audience. So of course, we're going to create a page inside of YouTube hub, which is going to be called Target audience. All right? It's extremely important for you. Whenever you're creating any content piece, this could be a digital product or this could be a YouTube channel. You need to identify your target audience and more specifically your target avatar. So inside this page right here, you get to mention all of the information regarding your target audience, right? So where do they hang out online? What are their let's say demographics, audience demographics, and all of that. And the more you describe your target audience, the better and everything comes into play with the creation of your target avatar. I've stressed the importance of creating a target Avatar multiple times in my courses, and I'm going into huge detail in target Avatar creation in my content creation master class, the six hour master class with all of the information on again, how to get you from zero to content creator, right? But we need also a new page inside of our target audience page, which is going to be called Target Avatar. Inside this Target Avatar page, I want you to mention as much detail as possible regarding your target Odor. So you can use, again, GPT also to help you with brainstorming, again, who your target Autor is. I want you to give them a name, give them again, describe their everyday life or one day from their life. So I really want you to describe the target Audor here, right? So what is the first page in our YouTube hub? It is our target audience. And again, inside, we have information regarding our target audience and, of course, a description of our target Avatar. Now, there's a bit more here that it's very important for you to understand. Inside our target Avatar all right? Or potentially not inside the target outdoor page because this might get a bit too overwhelming. But next to our target Avatar, we need a new page, which is going to be called the ten core problems, right? These right here are the ten biggest problems that your target Avator faces, right, that of course are related to your niche. So let's say that you want to create a YouTube channel around vehicles around cars, car reviews, right? A core problem of your target outer, who's probably, like, a young dude that just likes cars, is that he, for example, cannot have access to very limited premium cars because he can't afford them. This could be one of his ten core problems. So it's important. Bear with me here. It's important to mention the ten core problems of your target outer. Why? Because we're going to be setting foundation, again, brainstorming our target audience, brainstorming and creating our target outer and understanding his ten core problems is the foundation that we're going to be setting, right? For this page right here, which is our next page, which, of course, our video ideas. All right. Video Idas slash brainstorming. Now, this page right here, used to be the biggest struggle for me. I used to struggle very much with content ideas, right? Every time I had all this energy, all this fashion, and I wanted to share it. I wanted to create videos, right? I knew that I wanted to create, but I didn't know which videos to create and what topic I should instruct, right, or I should create a video on. And I had this personal challenge of mine to create one video every single week, right? And I did this for two years. Actually, I created weekly, posted weekly for two years, and every single week was the same problem. I didn't know what video to create. By using this framework that I'm teaching you in this course right here, all right? And by reverse engineering, the whole idea and strategy of content, you will never run out of video ideas. Because why we brainstorm our target audience, we create our target avator, we brainstorm the ten core problems of our target avatar. And then we create video solutions to these ten core problems, and guess what? The ten core problems of your target Aator aren't ten. There are 100, 300, 400, right? There are as many as you can brainstorm. And with the power of GPT and AI, you can brainstorm as many problems as again, you can imagine, right? Infinite problems you can brainstorm from your target Aator. So we get to solve now these problems with our videos. For example, let's put this into perspective. Let's say that your target audience, right, it's someone who wants to create content, right? So target audience is aspiring content creators, right? You create Target Davdar. What is his ten core problem? Let's say that a core problem is that he can't right? Can't afford a camera. All right? Or another of his core problems could be shy to talk to the I'm so bad at spelling to the camera, right? Or another core problem doesn't know how to edit. Right? These could be like three of the ten core problems of your target Avatar. What do we do now we copy these, right? Copy, go back to YouTube app, Video ID is brainstorming, paste, right? Just like that. Paste. Next to each one of your core problems, your target Avars core problems, and these do not have to be ten. This could be 20, 30, 40, 50, right? You brainstorm the idea of the video solutions you're going to be creating. For example, can't afford a camera. What would be a good video solution to this? Hm, let's see. How how to create viral videos. It doesn't need to be that click Bay the title, but you get the point. How to create viral videos with your phone, right? How to create viral video with your phone. You can brainstorm more solutions to this problem. For example, kind of for a camera is, let's say, again, core problem, how to create viral videos with your phone. How or most value for money. Cameras for beginner creators, right? Or I this is a bit more recommended based title, how I got X result, for example, 1,000 views, 10,000 views with right? Normal input. This is another great title, for example, how I got 1,000 or 10,000 views in this case, with again, my phone with only only my phone, right? And you just start brainstorming and brainstorming and brainstorming different title ideas, right, for this again core problem. So again core problem can afford a camera. You can see how creative varias with your phone. Most value for money camera for beginner creators, how I got 1,000 views only, right? With only my phone. Change the color of the ten core problem so you don't get confused here, okay? Let's move this here. Shy to talk to the camera. Let's see. Um, how to create faceless YouTube content, right? This is a good one. So I talked to the camera number two, how to talk to a camera, right? Piece number three. So I talk the camera. It could be like how to improve your your storytelling. And another more click Baby title here could be, for example, I stopped paying for editing, and my channel went viral. How about this? There's a click Bay title in which you could be like, I stopped paying for editing because I improved my storytelling skills, and my channel went viral. This is how I managed to do this. You get the point. This is not a YouTube creation tutorial. I guess I'm showing you how I brainstorm ideas and how this whole YouTube hub works. Right, doesn't know how to edit, of course, like simple Final Cut pro editing guides, how to edit for beginner content creators. What are we achieving here with these video solutions, right? We are achieving to attract our target avatar. That's the most important thing with every single one of these video solutions that we provide, we tailor our content to appeal exactly. The more videos we create, we tailor our content to appeal exactly to this singular person which is our target outer, and this is how we attract our target avatar. And guess what happens when we attract someone that we already have outline. Then we already have attracted with intent. Then we can really tailor our approach into also potentially monetize this audience in a great way in which they're both happy. Like our audience is happy because they get value and we know exactly how to tailor and deliver value to them, and you get happy because you know exactly who you're attracting, right? So in the YouTube hub, again, you have your target audience, very important. The video ideas, brainstorming, and then of course, we need a content calendar. And this is when you can actually use a template. So if we go templates here, right? You can see you can type YouTube, right? Oh, my God. I'm so bad at spelling here. YouTube. All right. And let's see which we could create. YouTube video script. In general, I do not support scripting. I'm not a fan of scripting. I do not like scripting. I do not never When I coach people on a one on one basis, I never tell them to script their videos, and I don't want you to do this. The YouTube manager, we could do this. We could absolutely add the YouTube manager. Let's see. Video production workspace. Okay, 4.7 rating. Let's use the YouTube manager actually. We have this YouTube con Creators checklist. I think the YouTube manager would be better. Let's see what we got. Mm hmm. Okay. So I think it's a bit overwhelming. I do not like I do not like these overwhelming, these overwhelming templates. I think they do not work for us. We get to work for them, right? YouTube OS. I think this could be good YouTube operating system. A YouTube notion template to organize your business. Okay, it's 129 bucks, so we do not want to spend so much in this right now. Let's see another one. The YouTube creators checklist. So we have channel name, channel Link, creating a channel. This is not that this is not good. Let's see. Content. Content calendar. That's better. Let's see if you have some notions. Okay, so Notion has actually some content calendars. This is good. Let's click on this. So we have campaigns in process. This is good. So you can definitely have a content calendar. I just don't want you to download something that is too complicated here. Let's try it again. Content calendar. They like to make these templates. Complicated. I'm not a huge fan of this. Let's see. Let's see blog editorial calendar, content planner. That's better Instagram content planner. All right. I think we could check this out. All right, that's better. That's better. So you can also check the status of your videos and how they are integrated. Let's add, right? Let's add it. And we're waiting for it to be added right here on our b. You can see this loading screen. This means that it's getting installed in our hub, right? So once we're done with the video ideas and we brainstorm our target Avatar and our target audience, let's see here's the content calendar. Let's drag it inside here. You have right here. The next step, obviously, after analysis is production. And if a social media content calendar will help you with production, we can browse the content calendar right here, right? If adding a template of a content planner will help you take action, right? Do so. If it won't and it will just occupy space in your YouTube hub, remove it. The simplest thing that you can do if you don't even want to use a social media planner is this. You go here, all right, or you click on slash, right, and you add a calendar. So let's go here. Call divider translate called Gallery calendar view, right? And we click on calendar view. And just like that, you added I don't know if you got this, you added a whole calendar in your YouTube hub. So this calendar is, again, integrated inside of YouTube Hub. It is the same calendar with this. So it's the same exact calendar, but you get to tweak staff. So this could be, for example, your content calendar. You can see on the fifth, create new new or best value for money camera video, right? So you see, like, on the fifth of the month, create this video. This is another way to approach this. Or, of course, if we remove this Okay, let's actually delete the database. Yes. You can also, of course, use this calendar, right as your YouTube hub content calendar. You get the point, right? Now, we mentioned how to create YouTube hub in order to brainstorm your target after and gather ideas and information for your YouTube videos. After you taking action, right, which is the most important thing, the next important thing is analyzing the performance of your videos. And we haven't even mentioned Tamils yet. Cause Tamils is going to be another category and another workspace, right? It's very important for you to understand how to measure the results of your videos. And once you measure something, that's the only way that you can improve it. So in the next lesson, I'm going to show you how to create a new folder in which we're going to be measuring the key performance indicators of your videos so you can just tailor your content for success, right? So I'm going to see you in the next son of the squares. 8. Thumbnail Creation: Build Your Notion System: So, ladies and gentlemen, up until this point, we have enriched, of course, created and enriched the YouTube hub, right, with our video ideas. We took our target Avatar, which, of course, we brainstorm, and we created our target orient. We brainstorm the ten core problems of our target audience, and we converted these ten core problems into video ideas. This is how you will never run out of video ideas again. Now, in these video ideas, again, we managed to brainstorm all of these different videos that we can create for our YouTube channel inside of the YouTube hub. Now, it all comes down into shooting these videos. But before we upload these videos, a very special, very important, right, and very special box that you should check are the thumbnails. Now, the process of designing and creating a thumbnail isn't that hard. I actually have many courses on how to create and design thumbnails, right? I usually use Canva personally for my thumbnails. What is kind of tough with thumbnails is having, again, one certain location somewhere in your computer, one, let's say, app, in which everything is inside there. You can see all of your thumbnails. You can collect all of your thumbnails. You can compare all of your thumbnails and also note down some key performance indicators on how these thumbnails performed. So this is what we're doing in this video right here. So in this lesson, I'm going to show you how to enrich the YouTube h by adding the option of thumbnails, right. So being able to note your thumbnails down, add your thumbnails in every single one of these YouTube videos will be brainstorm to be created, right? So again, by the end of this lesson, you will know exactly how to categorize your thumbnails in a way in which you will not get lost cause trust me, you're going to be creating lots of content, and every single content piece has a thumbnail and the worst feeling ever, and to be honest with you, like 100% transparency I've been guilty of this mistake, right? I create a video. I shoot a thumbnail. I load the thumbnail with this video, and then I completely, let's say, Do not categorize this thumbnail. It's sherre in my computer, but I can never find it, right? So this ends here, let me show you how to end this nightmare, okay? So here we are inside of the YouTube hub, and you can see that if I click this button right here, we are inside. And what we have up until this point, our target audience. In this case, of course, for the sake of this demonstration here, it is aspiring content creators and our video IDs slash rainstorm Ming. So there are two ways to start categorizing your thumals. The first one is to actually create a new page, right, and name this page thumbnils, right? We all need some sort of thumnil sorting system. This is one option that you can do. So how do we age how do we categorize each thumbnail? We click on Video IDs and let's say that you want to produce this video right here, right, how to create viral videos with your phone. So you copy this, right? You go back to thumbnails and you paste it right here. And this you select afterwards, and you can see from here, you can turn into page. So again, what did we do here? We select this, right? And we clicked on these Redts here and these re dolts open this menu right here, and you can press, click on turn into page, and now this is turned into a page, which is the page of this video, obviously. So what happens in this video? You can add your script, for example, or you can have a script as another page, right? So you can actually turn this into another page in which you can click on the script, and now you can mention your script right here, right? So this is the first thing you can do. The second thing is that, of course, you can create a new page and name this page, thumbnails, right? So in this page, you would note down all of the different thumbnails of your video, right? But I do not like this method right here. Why? Because it just adds too much traction into the whole process. What I like to do is that I would like to go to video IDs, brainstorming. And whenever, right, for each and every single one of the tangle problems of my target After, you can see that I have these video solutions, I immediately just turn these video solutions into pages right here, right? So turn into page. Right? Okay, it also added it also created one of the Dangre problems. It turned it into a page. But now we can turn it actually into a page by itself. I just moved it downwards, turn into page. So here it is. We have a new page, and we're going to be creating a page for each and every single one of our videos. So what you want to add in this page are two, three things. The first one is title variations, right? You want to test two or three different titles for this video. So for example, how to create viral videos for your phone. This is the first title. I pasted it here, and below, I add how to shoot videos with your phone or how to go viral with only your phone. You get the point. You add title variations. Next, you want a new page, and which is going to be the description? Description of the video. Now, you can obviously create the description in the same page in which you're going to be uploading the video in the YouTube, let's say studio. But I think that it's better for you to brainstorm everything in notion and then just copy paste into YouTube. That's the best thing. The next thing you can obviously do is to add the script. And I'm not a huge fan of scripting. I've said this multiple times. I do not like scripting by videos. What I like to do is outline the process or the flow of the videos. For example, start with hook Alright, I can add, I can mention three hook variations, right? Then 0.1, and you mention your 0.1. After that, 0.2, and you mention your 0.2. You get the point, conclusion. Right? That's it. So this is how you script your video, right? Finally, of course, the Tumble umbel or thumbnails, right? You will have thumb A, Tamel B, Tubal C, right? There are many ways to add your thumbnails here, right? The first way is that you can immediately drag and drop your thumbi Let me drag and drop one, so you can see what I'm talking about. This, for example, a thumb of one of my videos, right? I can drag and drop it. Now, the Tamil is embedded right here, right? It's not stored, it's embedded. So, for example, this is like a thumbnail, right? You can see that it's being uploaded in notion. Below each thumbnail, what I like to do is that I like to paste the notion link, right? So the link of the notion page that I used to edit the Samnil, right? So in this way, I have all of the thumbnail variations of each and every single one of my videos. And I also have the link again of the notion page that I used to edit the Smil right here. So in this way, again, you can both see the thumbnails and you can immediately, let's say, identify them online, go ahead, tap in and apply some changes. So let's say, for example, for a future video of mine, I would use the Sam nail. I would want to use the Stumnil right, but change something change very slight detail, right? This wouldn't be done if I hadn't saved the Samnil somewhere with the link of, of course, the Canva project that I used to edit this, right? So in this way, you know, again, YouTube have in the video I is brainstorming, everything is just brought together in an amazing way. So every single one of your videos, as you can see, you will find in here all of the information, right? So how to create viable leaders with phone. Immediately, you have different title of variations, different descriptions, different scripts, right, the scripts, the thumils, everything. So these are the elements that your video should have. And I think that, in my opinion, this is the best way to categorize these templates right here and these elements into your YouTube channel. Now, regarding analyzing key performance indicators and measuring the success, of course, of your thumbnails and your YouTube videos, this is extremely important, right? But the only reason why I do not actually integrate, you know, some statistics and some video analytics in notion, it's very simple. Videos are always gaining traction. They're always gaining views. They're always growing, right? So I don't want, like, to have one snapshot of the success of my video and notion, and then my video keeps growing, for example, you need to be constantly updating data if you're going to be importing data in Notion. And that's something that might actually cause, decision fatigue and you do not want to be every day gathering data and applying it to Notion, because you can just enter the data and analyze the data and view the data from YouTube. So there's no reason to start storing data and storing data notion when you have them available on YouTube analytics. So my take here is that you shouldn't actually import data and key performance indicators and thumbnail performance and all that stuff. In notion simply because you can do this intrinsically on YouTube. The other things you can absolutely do and make sure to do this in every single video of yours. So it's very simple. It took us just some minutes doing this less than 10 minutes, and I also demonstrated it, so it just took more time. Again, tele variations, description, script, thumbnails. That's it. Right. This lesson right here concludes the creation of the so called YouTube hub. It's just a simple way to categorize your YouTube videos, your YouTube scripts, your YouTube thumbnails and just again, bring some antidote to chaos, if you will, in this YouTube life because it can get again, really, really exhausting, trying to figure out where to source all of these files and where you've stored everything. And I just hate storing things in folders. In my MacBook. I absolutely love Noon to do that. Do not forget to add your images, right? I'm going to see you in the next video in the next dozen, again, of the scores in which we're going to be discussing about the Finance tracker one of the best templates that you can download right now into Nan. I'm going to show you how it works, how I apply. It's actually the only template that I've downloaded from Noson and I every single day, I do not mess with any of those other templates. I find them very, again, complicated. But this one you will absolutely love, right? So more information about this in the next lesson of the course. 9. Track Income & Expenses in Notion: Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to thank you, first of all, for sticking up until this point of the scores. Trust me, this lesson right here includes extremely, extremely, extremely important data sets that I wish I knew when I was starting out with my three creative businesses that I've structured, again, with notion, and all of the finances, all of the accounting of all three of my again creative businesses is done by this amazing template that I'm going to show you. Again, as I mentioned in the conclusion of the previous lesson, I do not like notion templates that much. I like being creative, creating my own templates, creating my own projects. But in this case, we need some more advanced coding, let's say, inside of notion in order to be able to track all of these finances. This, again, notion template right here really saved me, right? And I mean saved because it's so easy to track your income, track your expenses, and have, in general, again, an overview always with you of what is happening inside of your business because trust me, I've said it multiple times and I've said it and I'm going to say it again. If you don't track something, you cannot improve it, and you can also not know if it's going well or not, right? So you can see that with this finance tracker, which of course, you can access also from your phone wherever you are notion is also available on mobile, you will see huge results, and it's just an amazing way to also display your work and the income that you're generating with your business. So let me show you what I'm talking about and how to tweak this finance tracker. So this right here is, again, the marketplace, the template marketplace with all the templates. Now, if you search for income expenses or Expense income tracker. This is what I want you to search for expense income tracker. The first one is the one we're looking for. I've tried many of them, many different variations, stuff created by Notion. I didn't like them. This is the one that I like and I use, right? I absolutely love. Let's try add it again. I've added it multiple times. You can see it. Every year, I add a new one because I keep a yearly expense income tracker. So this is it. Expense, income, tracker. What is the first thing we do? We change the icon. Okay? And of course, it's going to be something money related. Let's Let's do the stock going up, right? Ah, that's actually what I use in my workspace. Okay, so how do we input data in this workspace? So first of all, we have these This is like tutorial, know how to use it. We do not want this, so we can delete it, right? Now, what can we see here? We have the different months. So May, April, right, we not want this. Just go ahead and do the exact same things that I'm doing here in your income and expense tracker. So again, May 23, April 2023, these are not relevant, obviously, because we don't have 2023. You can have a gallery view of the months or a table view of the months. I prefer the table view, personally, me, right? Let's still leave the two. Now, these are false values. We do not generate this income. This is like for demonstrating purposes, right? We do not know this. We haven't generated this. It's just pre added due to the sake of demonstration. So how do we tweak the stuff? Whenever you have an expense or an earning, as you can imagine, you click either this or this, two buttons, very simple. Add earning, add expense. So let's add an earning. Let's say that we generated $10, right, from our website. March. What do we do? Continue, right? So right here, you write the name of your earning, for example, website, sale, or new digital product download, whatever. Now let's move to categories. Each earning of yours and each expense should be categorized, right? And all of these are different categories that you can have. Sales work. We do not want these categories, right? They're kind of boring, kind of boring. We do not want sales, we not what works. What I do, for example, is that I have a category called passive, right? And you get to create this category in your case because you don't have it. So create passive and another category, which I call active, right? And we create active. And, of course, we change the colors because this shouldn't be the colors of earnings. Passive, blue, active, right? Let's change it to Blue, right? So green, blue. So let's say the website sale was a passive earning. So, this means that I didn't invest my time and energy directly for this earning. We don't care about this. Amount earned, obviously, you mentioned how much you made, let's say, I made 100 bucks. You do not need to add dollars. It's going to be automatically saved as dollars. You can see $100, right? The date, obviously, when did you made this? When did you make this money? So it was, for example, March 6, right, six months 2025. And which month, again, you should add also the month again here. So let's go ahead and you can see we have two months at the moment, April and May. We do not want these months. We're going to be deleting them. Let's add March. And whenever you add a month, if it's not there already, right, you can just create this month, so March. If we click away, you will see that we have this, which is called March 2025, and we have a new sale. So again, this May 2023, right? We do not want it, so can delete pages of May 2023, which can delete April 2023. So just go ahead and delete everything else. Okay, not everything here. May everything that is already pre registered, we delete because it will, of course, ruin our data here. So April, May, we delete. And just like that, check how neat and awesome this is. We just added our new earning, which is a website sale. You see it's passive, $100, March 6 on March, right? And you can see here again, automatically on our table in our months, we have how much did we spend? How much did we earn and our balance. You can see we have amount earned 100, balance 100. Let's say that a month we had another sale, for example, right? It was Skillshare. Revenue, right? Skills or revenue. And we made $460. Oh, I'm sorry. This is the category. Skills or revenue, it was passive, right? Because I didn't invest my time and energy directly instructing these people. These people say that they consume courses that are already on Skillshare. So it's passive. And by the way, you don't need to add, like, you know, the category every time if it's passive, it's active, just a suggestion of mine. So let's say we made $470, right? And when we make it, we made it in March, right? March, and there we go. Click away, you will see that we have another again, revenue in March, 470. And down here, you can see March amount earned 570. So it just does the calculations here and gives you the earn and the balance. Let's say that we have an expense now, right? So add expense, continue, right? Let's say that we have course, Editing. I sent the scores of Kilsar to an editor, right when you have these different categories. Let's, of course, delete them. We do not care about food. We do not care about subscriptions. All right. The editing was, for example, business. Expense. This was a business expense. For example, let's say. Oops, I didn't create it. Expense. Alright, let's make this. Let's say, for example, we're going to make business expense red. Business expense. Okay. Amount spent. Let's see that we spend $50 for the ending of the course, right? And again, you don't need to add the dollar sign. It is automatically registered when March 14 and again, in a month we select March. And if you click away, you can see that right now in the expenses, there you go. Business expense $50, and it's of course editing. So now check this out. You have amount spent 50, amount earned 550, and it did the calculation. So the balance is 520, right? So let's say that now the next month comes, for example, and it's April and you want to register again your Skillshare. Revenue, right? So we go category, passive, revenue. I'm bad at spelling. Amount earned. Let's say we made $850 this month, right? When should change the date, obviously. So it's now April. Choose the date which you registered the payment, April 17, right? And month, we create a new month. So in order to create a new month, you just type the new month there, and it will suggest you to create this new month, right? So click on April, and this month is automatically created. So you are here again here, select month, April. Oh. No. We can delete the page trash. Okay, so here it is April 2025, Skillshare revenue 870. So again, we have March, and we will also see April in a bit. This is how you use the income and expense tracker. It is simple, it is basic, and it works. This is why I absolutely love this template right here. I've used it for many years. I've used it for my personal finances. I've used it for three of my businesses, right. So I have literally four different income expense trackers, right, in which I register every time that I have like an earning or an expense. That I want to track, I always track it with this income and expense tracker. And it's so cool because most people track their income and expenses if they track their income and expenses. They track them through notes like their note taking up on the phone, and it's just a huge pain in the *** to do without this amazing template break here. Right? I'm very happy you made it until the end of the starting right here. And in the next lesson and the final installment of the scores, I'm going to see, I'm going to show you another awesome template that you can use, right? It's a habit tracker, which if used correctly, it will act as a journal of yours, and it will just make your life so, so much better. So more information about this in the next lesson of the scores. 10. Build a Habit Tracker for Consistency: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the final installment of the scores in which we're topping everything up by creating and obviously downloading the template of our personal habit tracker, right? As I mentioned in the previous lesson of the scores, and multiple times throughout the lessons, if you do not track something, you cannot improve it and you cannot also know that it's not working properly. This is why we love to track our habits, and you might think that, again, finances and habit trackers, they might be unrelated with YouTube, you're wrong. YouTube and content creation, and it's a marathon. It's really not a sprint, it's a marathon, and it relies in forming the correct tactics, habits and systems around the production, distribution of your content. So a habit tracker is extremely important for your YouTube journey. Let me show you exactly how I approach habit tracking with notion. So the habit tracker that we're going to be consuming and uploading at this point, it's going to be Noons habit tracker. There's one right here. So if you search a Noon marketplace, Habi tracker, right? You will get access to this. We can either preview or add it, let's directly add it, right? So it is being added, as you can see here, and here it is in, again, the notion page that we have created. And how cool it is. You have the in calendar, the calendar, the basket, the projects, YouTube Hub, income expense tracker, and now our habit tracker, right? So again, in the very common sense of notion. It gives us a small tutorial on how the stemplade works. If you click on this, you can see that you can have all of this demonstration on how it works. So the habit tracker automatically creates a new habit card every day and uses buttons to check off the habits you completed that day, how the stem blade works. Delete all habit cards in the streak view below when you're ready to start, right? Each day, a new habit card will automatically appear 12:00 A.M. And obviously, you can change this, right? You can also add a new entry by clicking New and press the buttons above to check off your habits each day, right? Add new buttons with each of your habits. Click on the gear next to the button to see how you can recreate the button functionally. The Progress formula can be edited if you add or remove habits. You can learn more about the formula property by clicking this link, and it will get you to Notion's page. So again, you can delete all of the cards in streak when you're ready to start. This is the streak, obviously, these are all of the consecutive days in which you have the streak. And again, this rate here is the streak. So you can go ahead and completely select all of these and delete them, right? We do this once again. So here, here, delete, right? All of these are deleted, deleted, deleted, don't want these. Right here. And we can start with new habits, right, and change the things that we want to have. So this happens every day. Today obviously changes every single day. It's going to be generated every day. And if again, we click on start a new page. Okay, so this is today's, for example, habit, and we can change this, right? So let's say that I don't want journaling as a property. I want to be Run five K, right? So run five K. Here it is. We have run five K. Or for example, it already had running. We can do uh, create shoot, for example, shoot a video, right? Yeah, 8 hours of sleep is good and meditation, right? So time created, you can see it's created March 15, right? And you check these off whenever you're done or not. So you can see that as you're checking these buttons, the progress progresses, right? So, for example, right now, we have 50% because we already checked like two boxes. If we check everything, we have 100%. You can add properties, obviously to add more habits. For example, let's say, drink Water, right there, this new habit of yours, drink water, right? Oh, actually, let me add another way. I've noted added a new habit, right? We can do is that we can duplicate actually a habit. So meditation meditation one, and you can change meditation one to drink water, right? So now you can see, these are different, and you can also check this or uncheck this, for example. So this is just a way to add a new habit with the check button next to it. For now, we do not want it, so we're going to delete this property, and you have these properties right here. So what's going to be happening is that pretty much every single day, these will be generated again and again and again. You will be able to also see your streak, right, and what happened in this month. So, for example, this is the month, right? They will only have one day created. But if you go to your streak, you will see, again, all of the different pages created every single day. So it's like we have coded, right, this template right here to create these pages every single day at the same time. And you can see on your screen on your streak. You can check or uncheck, again, all of these. And down in your streak, as you go through the days, you will see how many shoot video habits did you check? How many meditation habits did you check, right? How many hours of sleep did you check as a habit, right? You get the point. So this is how the habit tracker work. Again, very simple, very basic. I also like to delete these all right? So it's as simple as possible. If you upgrade your plan and obviously notion can be upgraded, and I absolutely do not recommend you upgrading notion because I mean, it's been working perfectly for me as is that being said, if you find value and you wish to upgrade it and you do so, you will see that you will just get more data. For example, you will get data around meditation, data around data, step all of the different habits that you have added. It will just give you more data around them. That's what upgrading will give you. But if you just want to stick on these habits and not analyze right what's happening and just get notified every single day, and check these boxes. This, again, habit tracker is awesome, right? So, this was the final again, page that we added in our notion, again Hub in our notion thing that we created here. So to do a small recap of what happened in this course, we had the in basket where you get to register every single new action that you get to complete or not. This is the simple algorithm that you get to follow when deciding what to do with each action of yours. After the in basket, we moved to the calendar, right? We analyzed how to import a calendar, how to add things to your calendar. And again, different tags, different location, how to add stuff again around every single new event that you create to your calendar, how every event acts as a page, right? Then we moved into the projects and ideas. Every single creative needs to have projects and ideas as a special category in notion, right? In this case, for example, I gave you a simple example of a digital product as a project, right, an idea, and as yoga coaching. So let's say you have a yoga coaching business, again, how to brainstorm your target Dava and how to sort the information there. After that, some website resources if you Yoga website, email automations, clients sales and conversions. And the sales and conversions, you can actually obviously track with the expense and income tracker. Moving on, we discussed about the YouTube hub, the reason why you're here and you click in the Squares, which is pretty much the most important part of this whole framework. YouTube is the home of your content, and it's very important to have everything sorted out. The most important thing before we even work on the YouTube videos themselves is to know our target Avatans Avatar, and our target audience. So this is why, again, we brainstormed our target Avatar when we added all of the information around our target Avatar inside of the YouTube Hub, right? And of course, we did is that we took and brainstorm the ten core problems of our target Avatar. Based on these ten core problems that are noted in here, you can go to video Ideas and suggest brainstorm video solutions that you could work and you could produce as YouTube videos for the ten core problems of your target Autor. So, for example, for the core problem, can't afford a camera, right, you have the solutions, right, most value for many cameras for beginner creators, how I got 10,000 views with only my phone. So again, all of these are video solutions to solve the problem of your target outer, that is, for example, can't afford a camera or Shi Ti camera. These are ten core problems. Now, for each and every single one of these video solutions, we created a page, right? And these pages, every single video should create should have different title variations because it's important for you to write down at least ten titles for each video and then conclude to the one that you like the most description variations, right? Obviously, or one description, at least, noted, sorted, and figured out inside of notion, the script of your video. And if you don't like to descript your videos like me, you can add the outline of your videos right here. And, of course, thumbnail variations of your videos. You can directly drag and drop your thumbnails to your notion page and then below them, add your Canva link or the link of where you edited the Samuel. So whenever I want, for example, to edit this tama right here, I can go to Canva, click on the link below this tunnel that will redirect me to the C editing page and tweak some stuff there, download it, and then boom, it's on my YouTube video, right? So this is pretty much what happened. And this is how we structure our content in a way in which it's very organized, right, very neat. Then we had the income and expense tracker, the most amazing template that you can download. Trust me, from notion, you add your earnings, you add your expenses, everything is sorted out around months, and you can see, obviously, right here, it does the calculation, so it told you what you spent, what you earned, and then the final balance that you have throughout the month. And if you keep adding and adding and adding all of these different months, you will see that you get an awesome sum at the end of the year, and you might think like, Wow, my work is being rewarded, for example, what a cool year this was. It's actually a very good way to reflect, right? You will be surprised, of, for example, what you did regarding expenses and earnings one year ago, right? So it's also a good way to reflect. Finally, we had the habit tracker a way to track your habits, of course, and check boxes of repetitive habits that you want to encode to your everyday life. Again, if you don't track something, you cannot perfect it, right? And of course, you do not know if you are insufficient somewhere if you do not track it. So the habit tracker is an awesome way to just keep track of what's happening, and stay productive throughout this YouTube journey. Because, again, the YouTube journey is around systems, it's around processes and processes need to be automated by the subconscious mind in order to see right growth overall, right? Because we have compounding growth that you will set your growth as a concret will be linear, linear, linear, and then exponential. In order to reach this point at which your growth is exponential, you need to stick to the daily habits that make you creative and make you successful. So thank you very much.
